"Finally, an actual bed!" Jake said, as he flopped onto the bed in his and Gia's hotel room. Their room, while small, had everything they could need in a hotel room, plus a little. A king-sized bed, flatscreen to hook up Jake's Xbox, small kitchenette, complete with sink, microwave, and dishes, and a decent sized bathroom.

"I know, right?" Gia said, flopping down next to him. "Any more time in the plane would've given me a backache" she and Jake shared a laugh, as Jake reached over to his bag, and took out a pack of skittles he bought at the CVS. Tearing open the pack, he downed a handful, and handed the pack over to Gia, who took it from him, and started nibbling on them.

"Feeling better?" Jake asked, and Gia smirked.

"You've been asking me that once every, like, five minutes." she laughed, and Jake chuckled.

"Just want to be sure." Gia smiled and leaned into Jake, and thought about how lucky she was to have him.

"Well, yes, I'm feeling a lot better, so don't ask again." She said, dumping a handful of Skittles into her mouth.

"Okay okay" Jake laughed. Gia sat up and stretched her back out, pulling out her phone.

"It's almost 3. I say we do some walking around and grab an early dinner." Gia stated, hopping off the bed.

"By early, you mean…?" Jake prompted, sitting up.

"I don't know, like 4? We're only running off of doughnuts and Skittles, babe" She reminded him. Jake smirked.

"And thats a bad thing?" He asked, getting off the bed. Gia smiled.

"No. I just say we get an early dinner." She stated. Jake knew better than to argue with Gia, and a minute later, he found himself changed into basketball shorts and a t-shirt, and walking around the town of Clearwater with Gia and Noah, who wanted to tag along. "Told you you'd be more comfortable in that attire" Gia smirked at Jake.

"I would've been fine in jeans and a hoodie, thank you very much" Jake huffed. Gia smiled and put her arms around him while they walked.

"Yes, but you're much cuter like this" She said, subjectively. At this, Noah groaned.

"Guys, I wanted to come to get away from this. Troy and Emma already give me a headache." Jake smiled as he let go of Gia, who whimpered at the loss of contact.

"I promise, Gia and I will be, at most, tolerable." Jake assured, looking back at Gia. Gia laughed, and nodded.

"Very well. Where are we going for dinner?" Noah asked. The trio walked around a bit until they found a beach-side cafe that seemed to suit their interest. They got a table overlooking the water as the waitress provided some ice water to the table, in which Jake downed almost immediately.

"And I thought California was hot" Jake breathed after setting his now-empty glass down.

"We're sitting mere miles from the equator" Noah said. "Florida has seen days reach as high as 120 degrees. Fahrenheit." Gia groaned.

"I'm all for warm weather, but if Florida pulls that number, I'm sorry, but I'm spending all day in the water." Gia picked up her glass of ice water and sipped at it as Jake looked at the menu.

"Not that expensive" He remarked. "We chose well"

"Don't we always?" Noah asked. Gia sighed, setting down the water. Jake turned to face her, even though he was sitting right next to her.

"Same thought?" He asked her. She nodded, and it was Jake's turn to sigh.

"Thought?" Noah asked. Jake looked at him, and filled him in on his and Gia's chat at the airport Dunkin before their flight. Noah slowly nodded. "That'll be natural. We just ended a massive battle, as well as out time as rangers. We're gonna feel like there's still more to come for some time. Eventually, it'll wear away." Noah said, calmingly. Gia shrugged.

"I know, I just hate nagging feelings. They mess with me." She said. Jake draped his arm around her shoulders.

"We're all going through the same thing, Gia. Me, Noah, Troy, and Emma. I've had the same nagging feeling in the back of my mind for a few days-"

"Same here" Noah put in. Jake smiled at Noah and looked back to Gia.

"See? We're all in this together, and we're all here for each other." At this, Gia nodded, and planted a kiss on Jake's cheek.

"Thanks, guys." Gia said, as meaningful as she could be. "I won't let this nagging feeling ruin our vacation." She smiled, as she picked up the menu. "Now, since Jake is buying-"

"Who said that?" Jake interrupted . Gia smirked.

"I did." Jake rolled his eyes.

"Just don't-"

"Go overboard, I know, babe." Gia said, looking over the menu. "I'm feeling like a burger." She set the menu down as she took another sip of her water.

"Salad for me" Noah said. Jake smiled, and shook his head.

"Guys, I was kidding. It's vacation, and I'm buying. Go crazy!" He treated. Instantly, Gia picked the menu back up and looked it over again, and Noah just smirked.

"You know your way with girls, Holling" he joked. Jake shrugged.

"What can I say?" Jake said, giving Gia a quick kiss on the cheek. "And I'm serious, Noah: get whatever you want. My treat."
