Responding to Dewa1990's comment from the last chapter:

Yes, Noah is definitely going to have a love interest, of which has been in the works for a bit. Noah's love interest will come in a later chapter, so hang in there!

Hope everyone is enjoying so far! Again, any comments or suggestions for future updates, don't hesitate to put them in!

Jake woke with a start. Breathing heavy for a few seconds, he managed to calm himself down, to the point where he no longer had a headache. Rubbing his eyes, then his temples, he let out a sigh, and sat up. Sun poured out through the window, letting Jake know it was, in fact, morning. He checked the alarm clock on the nightstand, which told him it was only 6:20 in the morning, way earlier than his usual get up time. Sighing again, Jake recalled his most recent dream:

"YOU'LL NEVER STOP ME!!" The giant beetle monster bellowed at the Black and Yellow Megaforce rangers. "I CAN'T BE STOPPED!"

"At the very least, you can be shut up!" Gia taunted. She summoned her Tiger Claw, and charged the monster. Jake watched as she dodged several swings from the monster's colossal sword, and landed some hits on the monster. Soon enough, however, the monster caught her off guard, and smacked her on the chest with the flat of his sword, sending her flying backwards, and crashing down onto Jake.

"Try all you want rangers!" the monster laughed. "But like I told you before, I CANNOT BE STOPPED." Jake and Gia helped each other to their feet, and held their weapons firm, death-gripping the handles. Jake looked over to Gia.

"We'll take him together…"

"No, I'm taking him NOW!" Gia boasted, charging the monster.

"Gia No!" Jake yelled, but it was too late. The monster summoned a massive energy blast from his sword, which struck Gia squarely in the chest, sending her flying to the side.

"WEAK!" the monster cackled. Jake glared at the monster, then over to Gia's limp body. He desperately wanted to see if she was okay, but he knew the answer already. Plus, the monster wouldn't let him get close. In a last ditch attempt, Jake threw his axe at the monster, while he ran over to Gia.

"Gia, please be okay." he whispered, removing her helmet, revealing her severely banged-up face. "Gia? Gia!?" No matter what he tried, Jake couldn't wake her. He chocked up, and removed his own helmet, tossing it aside. He picked up her body, and cradled it close to his, letting his tears land on her. His axe was suddenly imbedded into the ground next to him.

"This all could've been prevented had you surrendered!" the monster growled at Jake. "Next time, I won't be so merciful."

Jake wiped away the last of his tears. Whatever was going on, he hated it. He hated seeing Gia in any sort of distress, so seeing her get killed was something he didn't know how to handle. Absent-mindedly, he lay his arm across Gia's side of the bed, only to feel the matress, and no Gia. He bolted upright in bed, looking at the empty side of the bed. Fearing the worst, he jumped out of bed, threw on a T-shirt and sneakers, and ran to the door. Just as he was about to open it, his eyes landed on something taped to the peephole. Taking it down, he saw it was a note addressed to him.

Babe,

Woke up around 5 or so, and couldn't get back to sleep. Bad dreams. Went for a run to clear my head, and to pick up some coffee for our room. Be back by 7.

Don't worry, I'm fine. Just got a lot on my mind.

XX

Gia

Jake sighed and flopped onto the bed, letting the note from Gia drop onto the nightstand. Guess I got a heart attack for nothing he thought to himself. He decided that he would not tell Gia about the dream, as to not ruin their vacation for her. Looking back at the alarm clock, and seeing it was only 6:03, he decided to play some video games, to clear his mind. As he powered on his Xbox, he though about how, one day, Gia would be the death of him.
