Upon returning back to Clearwater town, with Gia's hand in his, as they walked to meet up with the others, Jake felt a little better about the situation. The monsters he and Gia fought weren't pretty tough, and they had a major weakness in the form of drying up. Jake didn't think about it too much, as to maintain his promise to Gia, as they approached their friends.
"New getup?" Gia asked Emma upon seeing her in a new beach outfit and hat.
"Curtesy of these two." Emma nodded, gesturing to Troy and Noah.
"I like it" Gia approved.
"Kinda stylish" Jake agreed.
"Thanks" Emma benighted up, spinning around so her friends could see every angle of her new attire.
"What about you two?" Troy asked. "Where did you run off to?"
"Just to grab an ice cream" Gia stated.
"Ice cream?" Troy asked with a raised eyebrow.
"What?" Gia shrugged. "I have a sweet tooth."
"No argument there" Troy agreed. "Anyway, Jake, we need your help."
"My help?" Jake asked pointing to himself. "And who is 'we'?"
"Noah and I need your help" Troy clarified. Jake nodded.
"What do you need?" Jake asked.
"Well...you see...um…" Noah started. It was clear to Jake that he was nervous about something. What that something was, he had no idea, but that only made him more curious to find out.
"Um, what?" Jake prompted, earning a playful nudge from Gia.
"Don't pressure the boy." Gia teased. "Poor soul probably just got his heart broken".
"Quite the opposite, mind you" Noah huffed. As Noah's words sank into their heads, Jake and Gia's eyes grew wide.
"Dude, you...you got a girlfriend?" Jake gasped. Noah chuckled.
"Not officially. It's just a date right now." Noah confirmed.
"Hang on, time out" Gia put her hands out in a "T" configuration. "Noah's going on a date? With some one from Florida. When we live in California?" The fact that Noah would go out with someone who lived across the country baffled Gia. She hoped he would be smarter than that.
"No,no. She's actually from Harwood county." Noah cleared up.
"Oh, gotcha. And, hey, if all goes well, we could have another girl in our friend group." Gia stated.
"That would be nice" Emma agreed.
"Yeah, Anneka seems very nice" Troy stated. Upon hearing the name of the girl, Jake looked over to Noah. He had heard him mention that name a few times before, and started to wonder if he had liked her. Now, he might've gotten his answer.
"Anneka? Like, the same Anneka you talked about the past few weeks nonstop?" Jake asked. Noah nodded.
"The very same." he confirmed. Jake pat his friend's back.
"I knew you liked her!" he teased him. Noah groaned.
"Was it that obvious?" he asked. Jake nodded.
"Anyway" Emma interrupted the bromance moment. "Noah's date is tomorrow. He and Anneka are going to lunch, then to the beach."
"Romantic" Gia commented.
"But what did you need my help for? Seems you got everything under control." Jake stated. Noah sighed.
"I've never...well, dated before. I thought since both you and Troy have been in a relationship a bit, I could get some pointers?" he asked Jake, who nodded.
"Of course buddy. I got your back."
"Ditto" Troy agreed.
"Emma, Gia? I could use your help as well. I don't really understand the romantic side of girls." Noah said to the yellow and pink rangers.
"Happy to help." Emma agreed. Gia held back a bit.
"I'll catch up with you guys. I got something I need to do real quick." she told them. Jake looked over to her with concern.
"Everything alright?" he whispered.
"Dandy" she responded. "I'll meet you guys in town. Don't wait up!" Gia called, taking off towards their hotel.
"Where's she going?" Troy asked Jake.
"No idea." Jake shrugged, turning to Noah. "Okay dude, time to turn you into dating material."
