At the time I'm writing this chapter its Christmas, so merry Christmas !
Mickey sat on his bed, not bothering to change out of his brown school uniform or to even take off his shoes. His backpack laid next to his bed, obviously thrown because of the way it was laying on the ground. The big window made sure to let a lot of sun burst into Mickey's room, lighting up the old red walls filled with posters.
Mickey himself was still staring at the drawing that had once been laying on his desk given to him by the girl named Minerva that he barely even knew. It still bothered him that she had just gave it to him and ran away, there was no reasj for it at all. They didn't know each other, at all.
Mickey eventually stopped staring at the drawing and groaned, he jumped off his bed and smacked the drawing down on his desk. He ran out his bedroom door, almost tripping over his dog Pluto in the process.
He tore his shoes off his feet and threw them next to the door and then ran to the kitchen to grab a snack, so he didnt look suspicious was his plan, even though he was actually really hungry.
He ran past Oswald's room, who was watching his brother from the doorway confused and concerned about his brother's random behavior, Mickey closed his bedroom door quickly got changed. A red hoodie and black pants, the colors he always wears after school. He felt like it was a signature thing.
He pulled up his laptop. He always had it with him and he enjoyed searching up people and sometimes students to get their social medias, so he could expose them or something, it never worked out.
He started eating his chocolate muffin, while he typed.
" Minerva…"
He didn't know what her last name was. He tried to think. Most people's last name was the animal they were, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, and Goofy Goof,, okay maybe not him. But still.
so Mickey figured her last name was Mouse, since she was clearly, a mouse.
" Minerva Mouse. "
he stared at her name for a while, debating which he should do this, considering the fact the only things she did was sit next to him and draw him. But he click the enter button anyway and got a lot of results.
boy this was gonna take forever to read.
Walking home from school is tiring, especially when your house is a hour away. Thats the first though that came into Minerva's mind when she walked to her front door step. Lifting the welcome mat to find the extra key. She eventually found the old thing, all rusty and dusty. She asked her mother to get a new one but she always said they didn't have enough money, even if she did but expensive purses and jewelry.
She opened the door gently, nobody was home so there was really no reason for her to open the door so slowly and quietly. But she did it anyway, it was like a chore for her to do everyday.
She took off her shoes, placing them next to the door, brushing down her black skirt right after. She walked upstairs to her room, a mess filled with ugly old walls that were once a pink color, and the dirty clothes everywhere.
She shoved everything out of her way to her bed, which was really just a old torn up mattress. She lifted it and grabbed a sketchbook and a pencil that she had kept there since the day she got them by using her own money.
She sat on the mattress and opened her sketchbook to a brand new page, fresh and clean, cleaner than her own room. She grabbed her phone from her pocket which was not that old, it was a Christmas gift from one of her old friends because they knew what she was going through. She turned it on, seeing a bunch of notifications from different apps all saying how good her art is.
Minerva smiled to herself. She loved to draw and sharing it with the online world was the best thing she had chose to do. She could continue about how she loves her fans, but then she got a text message from her best friend. Daisy Duck.
"MINNIE! YOU DIDN'T TELL ME YOU WERE COMING TO MY SCHOOL!" Is what her message read. Minnie signed and texted back.
"I didn't wanna draw attention to myself, you are the most popular girl at the school, and I'm just the loner new kid." She stared at the message for a while but then pressed send. Daisy kept on sending messages back. Minnie knew what they said, paragraphs about how she was pretty and how cool she was. She heard it all before, form Daisy, others, and basically everyone.
she ignored every message and call Daisy sent that night.
Daisy wouldn't call herself annoying, but…she does understand when people call her that. But, its their fault for not answering her when she was spamming them with messages. and by them, she means Minnie Mouse.
She stopped texting and calling Minnie but only when she realized Minnie wasn't gonna answer till morning.
she sighed and put her phone on her nightstand. She was standing angrily in her fluffy purple pjs. And then she slipped her sleeping mask on, and flopped onto her bed, slipping the blankets over her, and she fell asleep in a quick minute
It was 2:38 AM when Mickey stopped taking notes about Minerva. Apparently, she was some famous online artist. He couldn't find anything bad about her or her career. So he put everything away and played on his phone.
He eventually fell asleep.
hehe, i'm slowly introducing each character's POV. *laughs*
