-Chapter 28-4 shedding werewolves-
-Quinn pov-
I am going to kill these ladies! Every I go there is wolf hair! How can do many wolves shed at once?! I mean we have enough to make carpet!
Not just one damn carpet though! We could fill a whole house! A lot of it is white too! How is my little pup shedding so much?!
I understand Maribel and Shelby. It comes more with the age. But my mates should not be shedding this bad! There is no reason at all for this!
I groan as I fill up another bag with mom help. Judy and mom have been on top of it. Fran is supposedly coming up but who knows. She probably blames me for dads death.
"Quinn watch it!" I jump and 4 wolves run past me "Why are those so active today?"
"We have had them cooped up and out of wolf for about a week now" I look over at mom with a glare "What did you expect to happen? They just be happy and not run around?! I could have told you they would do this! In fact Holly and I did tell you! But you just had to keep them in!"
"It was snowing!" I roll my eyes and my mom growls "Do not roll your eyes at me!"
"Some things never change" I turn to see my sister holding my pup mate in her arms "Hello sister and mother dearest"
"Put her down" I feel my fangs grow sharp and long "I will not ask again"
"I come in peace" She slowly pets Rachel "Why can we not be friends? We are sisters Quinn"
I scoff and glare "You always stole my presents and pushed my into the snow" I cross my arms remembering the bad times "You really want me to forgive you?"
"I-I know I have been bad" Fran sits Rachel down and looks at the ground "I am sorry..I am not welcome here"
"Wait a minute" Fran is soon gone and mom rushes out "Fran you are welcome!"
'That was cold' I turn a glare toward Santana 'She cares about you'
"She never has cared about anyone but herself" I go back to tying the trash bag "She is the one who started slushies remember?"
'I remember her also saying be better before she left' My glare is guilt and is replaced by guilt 'You are the one who continued on along with me'
"I know" I sigh and stomp my foot "I hate when you are right!"
I hear her chuckle as I walk away "It is fine mom" I walk to the door and see Fran still outside "I do not want to overstay anything"
"Get inside Fran" I have two sets of surprised eyes on me "Do not make my regrets this"
"N-never" She steps in with a big smile "I thank you for coming around! I figured this would be another year you would not want to see me..kind of like every year since I left"
"I wanted to see you but you never came" I look her in the eyes with a frown "I wanted my sister and you left me...I tried to call you when I was pregnant"
"I tried to come up" Fran looks conflicted on what to say "Dad...he told me I could not...he talked in riddles but said he messed up..said I needed to wait till the time was right"
"Now Rachel has unified us" She nods and I turn toward my mates "If you try to hurt either of them I will kill you"
"I would expect nothing else" I turn toward her and see her smiling "I...is Beth here?"
'She is mine now' Shelby carries a giggling Beth in her mouth 'But yes she is here'
"Can I hold her?" Shelby nods and Fran slowly takes Beth "You are so adorable! You have Santana and Quinn's features! I am so sorry I missed so much of your life...I will never miss a thing again!"
"Hey that is my mate" Mom steps between Fran and Shelby "Back off! I am happy and I would like to stay that way!"
"I meant moving up here mom" Fran smiles and looks at me "I want to try and be better sisters"
"Well if you are moving here you need to know traditions" I point toward the karaoke machine "You sing for you mistakes"
Fran frowns but makes her way over. She hands off Shelby to mom before picking out a song. She must find one cause she stops and picks up the mic. I register the song as the music begins.
-Fran singing-
Santa Baby, just slip a sable under the tree,
For me.
Been an awful good girl, Santa baby,
So hurry down the chimney tonight.
Santa baby, a 54 convertible too,
Light blue.
I'll wait up for you dear, Santa baby,
So hurry down the chimney tonight.
Think of all the fun I've missed,
Think of all the fellas that I haven't kissed.
Next year I could be just as good,
If you'll check off my Christmas list.
Santa baby, I want a yacht, and really that's not
A lot.
Been an angel all year,
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight.
Santa honey, one little thing I really need,
The deed
To a platinum mine,
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight.
Santa cutie, and fill my stocking with a duplex,
And checks.
Sign your 'X' on the line,
Santa cutie, and hurry down the chimney tonight.
Come and trim my Christmas tree,
With some decorations bought at Tiffany's.
I really do believe in you,
Let's see if you believe in me.
Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing,
A ring.
I don't mean on the phone,
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight.
Hurry down the chimney tonight.
Hurry, tonight.
"That was good!" Mom pushes me forward and I am confused "You turned away family! What is rule number one?"
"You do not turn your back on family" I sigh and walk over to the machine "I will find one"
I pout as I look through the songs. Of course I would also have to do one. I can not just ever get Fran in trouble. I have to get in trouble too.
-Quinn singing-
I'm driving home for Christmas
Oh, I can't wait to see those faces
I'm driving home for Christmas, yeah
Well I'm moving down that line
And it's been so long
But I will be there
I sing this song
To pass the time away
Driving in my car
Driving home for Christmas
It's gonna take some time
But I'll get there
Top to toe in tailbacks
Oh, I got red lights all around
But soon there'll be a freeway, yeah
Get my feet on holy ground
So I sing for you
Though you can't hear me
When I get through
And feel you near me
(Driving in my car)
I'm driving home for Christmas
Driving home for Christmas
With a thousand memories
I take look at the driver next to me
He's just the same
Just the same
Top to toe in tailbacks
Oh, I got red lights all around
I'm driving home for Christmas, yeah
Get my feet on holy ground
So I sing for you
Though you can't hear me
When I get through
Oh, and feel you near me
Driving in my car
Driving home for Christmas
Driving home for Christmas
With a thousand memories
I take look at the driver next to me
He's just the same
He's driving home, driving home
Driving home for Christmas
Everyone claps and I look over at Fran. She smiles as she pets Rachel. I finally crack a smile at her peaceful expression. I guess I can relax around her.
Part of me will always be tense. We have history that will take a lot to get over. But I know she means no harm right now. Right now, she is home for the holidays.
We finally get a family Christmas again. When Abuela gets back here it will be better. I hope she gets whoever she was going for. For now I am focusing on who is here.
I have two mates that are shedding bad and cookie that are about to burn in the oven. So far Christmas week has started out great. I hope it continues that way.
We could always use a break from the bad.
