She woke up after a faint once again. This time she knew what it could meant. She quickly get up to see. There were Lars and Zafina in the room.

"I fainted. Is he here, he came back?" She asked.

"I couldn't find him anywhere around." Lars said.

And Zafina added "And I don't sense any devil here."

"But you said it means he is around." Nina frowned.

"I said it's my theory. So it means something else probably. But it's related to him. I'm sure of that."

"So what happened? Claudio, where is he?"

"He's interrogation now. You should thank me I was on time. We need to find a solution to the faintings." Lars turned to Zafina.

"If we find the reason, we can solve it."

"Can't you just fix it?"

"I can but that means to lose the connection to him."

"So why don't we try to locate him by his connection to Nina?"

"It would harm her to do it so often."

"I can take it." Nina said.

"No, we shouldn't give harm to our vessel. We'll do it if we really need to." Zafina silenced both.

"What are we doing now?" asked Nina.

"What if we try to get his attention and make him come to us?"

"We don't know his situation right now, if he's healthy or he has any injury or free or doesn't have any memory loss. Anything is possible." Nina said to him. And added "But still, I'm in."

"It's dangerous." Zafina told them.

"It is." Lars said.

"There is nothing in my life that is not dangerous, so what's your point?"

"What if you faint again?" Zafina asked her.

"That means I will be in more danger."

"What if he doesn't show up?"

"Then it is a double fail." She was so careless.

"We need to find the reason of your faintings first." Lars said.

"What are the common things of your faintings?"

"Well, let's think, the last two is when I was fighting with someone one to one. The one before that was when I was very drunk, and the first is after I visited the tomb. That's all."

"Only in the first one Jin was still around right?"

She nodded at Lars' question.

"Was there something wrong with him then?" Zafina asked.

"I don't know, I wasn't with him, Eddy was."

~

They called Eddy. After Jin's disappearance he left the job and started to take care of his master. He was relatively better after Jin gave them an opportunity for a better treatment.

"Do you remember when I fainted after I came from Egypt?"

"Yeah, I thought you were pregnant." He said and squinted his eyes. "Or are you?" he suspected.

Nina rolled her eyes. "No, Eddy. I am not pregnant." She said. "I wanted to ask if there was something odd about Jin when I fainted. I mean when you were together before it happened?"

"Before your faint, I mean yeah, he is always odd. He was." He started to recall that time. "But..."

Nina gave all of her attention to him.

"Yeah, I remembered now. He had a nosebleed."

"Only that?"

"Yes, he had a nosebleed and he was distracted. Nothing else."

"What can it mean?"

"Are you still searching for him?"

"Yes."

"Do you believe you can find?"

"Why not, Gordo?"

"Um, because he fought a literal demon lord??"

"So?"

"Oh my god, you really overestimate him."

"I don't." She frowned.

"Or you're being emotional."

Nina scoffed "Me? Emotional? Don't make me laugh."

"Why not? Weren't you guys together?"

"We-" Nina raised her voice but she couldn't find anything to say since she cannot deny. "Anyway. No matter what, finding him is my job."

"No, your job has ended when he jumped into that abyss."

What was he trying to do?

"Okay Eddy, thanks for your help. You can leave now." He stood up when she kindly kicked him out.

"Oh by the way, Jin had told me to give this to you long ago, I forgot." Eddy gave her a key.

"What's that?"

"I have no idea."

"What did he say while giving it?"

"Nothing, he just toss it to me and said can you give it to Nina. That's all."

"Okay, thanks."

"So long." Eddy left.

Nina looked at the key in her hand. What could it be? She had no idea.

She went to Zafina and told her what she had learnt from Eddy.

"So nosebleed and distraction. Azazil might had talked to him in his mind, it might cause the distraction but nosebleed, no I don't think so. He might had been resisting the devil inside. It might explain the nosebleed. But what is the connection to you? What was your interaction with the devil then?"

"I only saw it. And he bit me once, on my shoulder."

"It bit?" Zafina asked. "Show me."

Nina showed the scar on her shoulder. There was paler parts in shape of teeth marks. Zafina touched them and looked at Nina.

"That's it. That is your connection."

"So, the reason?"

"It might be because he was trying to suppress the devil. This is devil's mark right here, when he couldn't reach him, it reached you through this. That might be the reason that you faint."

"So wherever he is, he is trying to suppress the devil. It doesn't mean he was close?"

"It seems like it. But I think he's closer now then he was when we were in Egypt."

"Are you ready?" Lars asked.

She nodded.

"I'll be tracking you. But I won't come to help until the warning." He had a panel which shows her health status every second. He had adrenaline ready in case of need. He hoped he won't use it.

She nodded.

"Let's go!" Lars sent her.

She ran into the building. She shot the men who came before her. She only spared the non-armed ones who were scientists or doctors.

She heard the alarms. She changed her pistol to an automatic gun. She started to go sneakily.

A few armed men came and she killed them with her gun. She kept going and entered a room. There was armed men again and they get killed by her.

"Hello again, Doctor... Abel?" She locked the door.

"Nina Williams. What are you doing here. What could you possibly want from me?" He wasn't scared he was just really curious.

"Do you remember me?"

"Yes, You were with Kazama the last time."

"You are so much more relaxed now, were you scared of him?" She mocked him.

The doctor chuckled. "If you knew what I knew, you would be scared too."

"Like what, the devil?" the smile on his face fainted when she said this.

"So you knew. And still, you were with him. I wonder what we call a monster sometimes."

"I heard your profession is monsters.

"It is. And one thing I am sure of is that you become a monster when you spend so much time with them. I can say that you are just as monster as he is."

Nina chuckled. "Great observation. That means you must be one also." Then she started to feel light headed again. Was she gonna faint?

No, no. Not right now, not just now!

"Here it is. He has the most clever devil I must say. It doesn't harm the body it is in, it just chooses another one to suffer." He realised Nina was suffering right now.

She tried to resist. She felt a tingling on her shoulder where the bite mark is. It might be psychological or she started to realise it after she learnt it was the connection.

"Amazing what a human body can do. Look at yourself. Resisting to a great devil power. But to be fair, it must've give you power, being a channel."

"Can you tell where it is?" She asked while still trying to stand up.

"Why would I?"

"You can do researches on me." She offered without even thinking.

"Hmm..." He scratched his chin. Then he got closer to her and grabbed her shoulder where it hurts and squeezed it. Nina screamed in pain.

"Oh, don't worry. I already started."

She was breathless but she was surprised she could manage to stand still. "Tell me where he is."

"I am not a radar, I can't tell this. But I can tell he is struggling against his alter ego right now. And you still standing means he couldn't just succeeded. You're on devil's side I must say if you still didn't understand."

"So if I resist, it meant the devil will take the control?"

"You can help it as much as a glass of water helps putting out a fire. If you can resist, it means the Devil is winning."

She didn't faint but she wasn't happy about it.

"You should be scared then. You can't know where it will go."

"Why would it visit the body he chose as a stress ball?"

"It's still Jin Kazama."

He suspected if might be true. He wanted her to leave.

"I don't know where is he but I can give you this information. Devils are tend to visit places where their body felt the a lot pain before."

Nina left the building and found Lars.

"I took information but right now, at the moment, the Devil is in control. Do you think it would come here?"

"I don't know, there is no reason for him to."

"I'll wait for a bit."

"Are you mad, they are looking for you right now. You can't wait here, like this." He started to pull her. "We'll go somewhere else while Alisa is on watch." He pointed somewhere far where Alisa was watching the area.

Lars took Nina to HQ and then to the interrogation room.

Claudio was there with a smirk on his face.

"Well, well. I'm touched you visited me."

"Shut up and tell her the things you've told me." Lars said.

"Ah, no. I would never say bad words to a woman." He mocked Lars.

"Tell what you've found." He said with a threatening tone.

"I have found an abnormal activity around the city. But it's no use for you, G-Corp probably searched the whole area already."

"What did you gain from them?"

"Jin Kazama's whereabouts are all unknown meanwhile Kazuya Mishima is right there. Why wouldn't I use it while securing the other?"

"What about those activities?"

"They are inhuman activities. And they had a strong dark aura. And their meeting point is right here, this building. Your Kazama was around lately."

Nina choked him roughly. "When did you find that out?"

He gasped for air. "Two day ago. But the traces, the oldest one, was one week old."

They left the room and Nina demanded to see the places.

She remembered those places: the port; where Jin and she planned the sneaky attack on G-Corp, Rochefort Mansion; where they went to meet Lili, Lei Wulong's house and secret laboratory, everywhere they went together. Was he searching for something, someone, her? Or was he sending a message? She looked at them again. Everywhere they went together. Except one place which was out of town. The house in the woods.

Wait... The key!

The might be for that house. He might had been sending a message. The next destination was there.

And the thing the Doctor said, where he felt pain before. Well, she shoot him there. Could he be really there?

She didn't lose time, she get on her bike and started to ride. She had a feeling that she's so very close.

She reached there after some time. The house looked the same. She slowly get in the yard and brought out the key.

Since the sun already set, inside was dark. No trace of living being. She slowly get in and checked around. Nothing.

She slowly put down her gun when she decided there's nothing here. She started to walk inside with the memories flashing back to her. She looked at the blood stain on the ground. She did it to him. She found herself wishing she could try to shoot him once again, that would mean he was here. This thought made her chuckle.

She heard a noise right then. Like someone jumped. Did she imagined it? She hold on to her gun again.

Now she realised she might be in danger. This might be a trap. She didn't think through and came here.

She waited for another noise. But she didn't hear anything. She might have imagined it. Afterall she wasn't in a healthy mind state.

After a few seconds she heard now footsteps and this time she was sure. There was definitely someone here. She aimed her gun to the door the noise is coming.

As the footsteps got closer, her heartbeats went faster.

She saw the silhouette coming closer. A very familiar one.

She lowered her gun and she felt her tongue tied. She just looked at him for a while.

"Jin?" She could speak at last. Here he was, standing right before her. Was this real, she wasn't sure. She started to get close to h as he was coming closer to her.

Then she felt she is going uneasy, again.

No, no, stop. Fucking stop, it's the worst time.

He felt she was going to collapse and he quickly hold her, kept her from falling.

"Like I thought." He murmured.

She was still awake and observing him. He looked like he was struggling to keep the devil. So their last theory was right. So this means if she doesn't faint, the Devil will come out.

"Hold on, resist it." He said to her.

"But the Devil would come out." She could say weakly.

"You hold on, I will too."

She nodded. She felt she could do anything now.

She put her hand on his face and caressed it. She still couldn't believe this was real. He hold her hand. He closed his eyes when he felt it would change again. He didn't want to scare her.

She started feel an immense pain.

He hold her tighter.

"Hold on, hold on." He tried to calm her. But all she could do was scream. This pain, she never felt before. She felt like she is out of her body. Only thing she could feel his warm touch which sometimes get colder and then warm again.

He was struggling the Devil and she was suffering it.

A/N: Hi again! Are we all happy he came back? I am.

I currently don't have any idea which direction this story is taking. Let's hope it's going well.

Don't forget to take a look at my other work called Don't Pity Us which will give a final soon. Working on it :)
