AN: This is a One-Shot of an idea I had months ago. Tell me your opinion on it. Enjoy.

Angels singing, immaculately, as the threads you're pulling, unraveling all of me.

I saw that moment, still frozen in time!

A shadow leading the blind.

.

I was singing Chaos Unraveled in my usual singing schedule. I was doing it because I liked singing and for my escape plan. After I broke the last rock, I stopped to take my breath.

Let's examine what we have here: I was inside the best and hardest prison to escape in Vale, breaking rocks with a heavy metal ball that had a metal rope with a collar attached to my leg and a small chip inside my neck that could track me, zap me at any moment, or explode at any moment with just a single button touch.

But today was different.

Today, I will escape from this place and I had a plan for it after a long time of thinking and executing it slowly as I could.

"You know something, I think I got used to your singing lately." I turned to the person that will be a good key factor for my escape plan, Jimmy with my chip's tablet, "Still, you're just an idiot and hopeless to think you will escape. If you had any plans, come on, I won't tell anyone."

"Well, I will use my ass to escape." I revealed sarcastically before I glared at him, "I will tell you something, motherfucker. I will make you pay and finish you when you won't realize it. I will find her and humiliate her a little before I finish her off. I will get back what I lost and everyone will be happy…except you." I threatened and pointed at Jimmy in the end

Jimmy understood what I meant and chuckled before he started laughing, "Oh, Ace, you hopeless boy! Nobody will help you. Once Boss wins it all, she will check you out and decide what will she make you. She might forgive you if you were lucky, or making you her slave, or worse."

"Forgive me?! Please, I stood toe to toe with her. I doubt that bitch will," I said before I picked the pickaxe and broke the metal rope without him noticing me.

"Yeah, you're right." Jimmy agreed before he turned away from me, "See you next week, Ace."

"Oh, don't worry about that, Jimmy. Don't forget to tell her my greetings."

Jimmy stopped and turned in confusion, "Huh, what the-" THUD

I kicked Jimmy right to his chest, picked the tablet from him, ran on the rocks, and jumped on them to be able to shorten the climb of the wall. I threw the tablet in the air, picked up the rocks I had in my pockets, and threw it to hit both watch guards before I jumped and started climbing the wall quickly.

One of the guards was near a switch to activate the electricity, so I climbed faster and jumped to the other side right before the moment they activated the wall. I was doing a 720-degree flip before I landed perfectly outside, grabbed the falling tablet, and ran away from the prison as fast as possible.

As I ran quickly, I started to search between the codes on the tablet to stop the chip from exploding. I found that I couldn't deactivate it and the only way to do that was from the inside of the prison. I didn't give up and hacked the chip to, at least, delay the explosion to be able to run away more and remove it the hard way.

Inside the prison, Jimmy got picked up by some guards that worked for the boss.

"Uh, what happened?" Jimmy asked, still dazed and confused from the sudden attack.

"The target escaped the prison, sir." The guard informed,

Jimmy's eyes wide opened and became pale, "W-WHAT?!" Jimmy shouted and ran quickly to the main control room.

As Jimmy arrived, he saw two guards who were watching from the screen Ace's location.

"DETONATE THE BOMB, NOW!" Jimmy ordered,

"W-We can't sir. Somehow, it doesn't work." One of them said,

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?!" Jimmy took the keyboard and pressed the button and nothing happened as the mark was still visible, Jimmy pressed it again and harder but it didn't even work.

"N-No…no, NO! DO SOMETHING OR THE BOSS WILL FINISH YOU!"

The guards started to type to get over the hack without thinking twice.

I was running very quickly, running like a blur, my heart was beating rapidly in my chest, the adrenaline was rushing in my vines, pushing myself as far from that shit as possible, maneuvering between trees and rocks, away from the people who imprisoned me for months. I was running away from the prison with a tablet in my hands.

Eight months living in the prison for a crime I didn't make. Eight months of thinking about how could I get out or if anyone could help me to get me out. Eight months under very strict security on me because they were ordered.

I wasn't scared that I would get caught because I could beat them easily. I was scared of that chip in my neck that will explode at any moment if I wasn't quick.

I finally stopped to take my breath. Then, I grabbed the tablet with both hands and slammed it on my knees to break it. I took a glass shard in my right hand to cut the wires and disable the collar on my leg before I raised it near my neck. I took a deep breath before, without any delay, I stabbed it in my neck. I pressed the glass shard in my neck where the chip was spotted. It was painful but I had worse than it.

"Come on, baby. Come on!" I groaned as I drove the shard deeper until I heard the sound of it touching the chip. That was where I used the shard to move that shit and it got out of my neck and landed right on my hand as my neck was healing quickly thanks to my semblance, Healing Factor.

"I don't know how, but you are certainly very dangerous," I commented as I put it next to the tablet and ran away as I knew they will activate it any time soon.

Jimmy was biting his nails from anxiety. He knew that she might do something with him if she found out about Ace's escape. The guards should make the chip back to be able to work…Maybe? Still, he couldn't help but bite his nails.

"Sir, we broke the hack!" The guard said,

"ACTIVATE!" Jimmy pressed the button as hard as he could with a smirk on his face.

As I was running away, the bomb got activated and exploded. The explosion was so strong it made me fly briefly before I hugged a tree and fell on my back to the ground.

"Ouch," I groaned before I got back and processed to run away, again.

There was a moment of silence after the explosion happened as they felt a small shockwave.

"Sir, it's done."

Jimmy was silent for a moment as he was uncertain of the situation, he couldn't help but need to check, "N-No, send a patrol and find anything. Boss said he isn't an easy guy to kill. I want to make sure he isn't alive," Jimmy said as he walked outside of the room with concern all over his face.

"But, sir, there's no way he could have survived the explosion. He couldn't remove it except with-"

"He might have planned to remove it!" Jimmy returned and snapped at the guard's face, "There's no way he planned to escape and not do anything with that chip! I want you to get your asses and search if he was truly alive or not! My boss pays you your money to eat, drink, and sleep under a decent roof. I think you should do your work." Jimmy finished and moved away from the guards.

This shit won't end nicely for him if he was unlucky.

.

.

.

Now, I know you're asking. Dude, what the heck? Why are you running? Why are you stabbing yourself? Who's Jimmy? And what the fuck is happening in general?

Okay, to answer you, let's go back a bit.

My name is Ace Storm.

When I was a young kid, my parents were Huntsmen. I was, like many children, listening to their stories and the action they had in their young. I was excited and dreamed about becoming a Huntsman, fighting the Grimm and baddies, exploring the world, and having my own story when I grow up and telling it to my grandchildren.

I was begging my parents to train me and they were refused at first until they realized how stubborn I was and agreed, with me getting so excited to achieve my dream.

I joined my sister, Azure Storm, who was doing the same training before me, and I worked the best I could.

I wasn't complaining about it.

I was enjoying the process and the more I started to get good at something, it drove me to go forward and work even harder than before.

My father, Zack Storm, was teaching me how to use different weapons and styles to see which weapon I felt comfortable with the most like my sister who took some time to pick her own.

A year later, I experienced my first kill, (I know that's too early) which happened when there was a serial killer known as Jack The Ripper that put the town on its toes for weeks. When Jack entered our house, I was luckily or unluckily depending on how you see it, awake at night. He saw me trying to find something in the fridge, but, due to my training on aura sense, I knew something was off behind me so I continued searching and pulled the nearest thing to throw at him which was frozen meat that was able to give me the time to get a knife to defend myself. In the end, the fight woke up the house and ended up in me killing the serial killer…by accident.

Yep! I was 8 years old when killed a person. I became traumatized and was frozen in my place from the blood that covered my hands and clothes.

That moment changed my life forever as I didn't get affected by blood anymore and my mind became wild before my mother, Regina Reigns Storm, was able to help me on controlling myself. It took me some time to move on from that incident, but I was able to live normally after it.

At the age of 10, I went to my grandmother, Valentine Storm, to train me on aiming and shooting which went well.

Years later, I made the first weapon, The Dust Decoded, with the help of my grandfather, Joseph Storm the Second, and my uncle Crank Storm. It was a long, fun, and exhausting process to make that shit.

Later, I got my dual guns, Ivy and Orchid, after I passed my grandmother's exam because I was doing great it reminded her of her young.

Then, The Sabrewulf Gauntlets were found a few months after inside a mountain.

Later, I was received with one of the most important events in my life.

One day, I went on a trip around the island of Patch, which was also where I lived, as training on how to survive alone in the wild. As I nearly finished my trip, I encountered a group of criminals led by Roman Torchwick by accident and kicked the shit out of him and his henchmen without trying. That was where I encountered Fujin Takahashi, who saw something in me and asked me to come to his house.

When we arrived, Fujin and I sat down, talked for half an hour, and asked me to train on the Demon Sword and more techniques as he was able to persuade me as a way to develop my skills and abilities. I trained on many different techniques about aura and fighting styles before I trained on the Demon Sword.

At first, I felt something weird the moment I touched the sword but I ignored it and trained on the Iai-Jutsu. It was a crazy thing to do because it required a lot of focus and good control aura to do, but I continued to push the limits.

I found a secret ability that I can change the sword to any weapon if I thought and focused on that weapon. It made me jump like a madman before I slapped myself back to reality to focus.

Later, I found out about the 'Demon' who had been imprisoned inside the sword after I suddenly transformed into its body in the middle of a crazy fight against hordes of Grimm. As I regained my focus, I felt something…different. I was powerful, faster, stronger, nearly invincible. I was like a man who wouldn't stop anytime soon.

However, Fujin was able to stop me and helped me to transform back to normal. After that, Fujin explained the origins behind the Sword and I made a promise to protect the Demon Sword.

After I finished, I returned to my family and explained my experience which I proved to make sure nothing was hidden between the family.

At the age of 17, I entered Beacon to achieve my goal.

On my first day, I bumped into a turtle Faunus and soon-to-be teammate, Violet Entrapta, the day before the initiation. The next day, when I landed in the Emerald Forest, I met another girl called Skyler Eindhoven. We continued together until we arrived to get the chess pieces, and there met Violet and a boy with short blonde hair called Carl Andersmith, but before we returned to Beacon, we encountered our first big threat, which was a big Grimm that had a weird face that half of it had bones while the other had a half creepy smile and twisted horns on top. Its body was heavily armored, the left hand was a giant ax and the right one was a giant sword and bladed toes. After a crazy battle that involved Skyler launching Violet inside her turtle shell and me Suplexing the Grimm.

Fun times.

After that, we became team ACES: Ace Storm – Carl Andersmith – Violet Entrapta – Skyler Eindhoven.

The first year was going smoothly. The team was creating a bond, the classes were good, and nothing was special most of the time. In the second semester, things were getting interesting, as I decided to forge our bonds with more than what we were.

So, I began to work with Carl on the band and music and it happened with the team which made the band 'The Mentally Unstable Hosts' after a lot of brainstorming.

With Violet, she upgraded the team's scrolls and some of their weapons like making Carl's weapon, Nevan, fuse with dust. Violet also shared her knowledge of weapons, programming, and inventing with us and it benefited me the most of us.

Skyler, on the other hand, didn't have anything that team could share except for her caring for the team, but I noticed that she had a crush on me and after a little bit of teasing and confirming, I decided to ride it and tried to see if something might happen, so I planned to have her on a date after the Vytal Festival Tournament.

After Beacon won the tournament because of Pyrrha Nikos' efforts, I made my promise and took Skyler on a date. It was a lot of fun and it ended with a kiss from Skyler on my cheek. It flustered me as a sudden feeling hit me at once from just a mere kiss. I didn't understand what was it until later. I also discovered that Carl and Violet went on a date after we went out.

The second year went better because, as a team leader, I decided to improve the team and fix their problems. Things like going to the gym, Hand-To-Hand combat, improving the reaction time, and other stuff. They agreed and by the end of the year, they became better at many things and our relationship got stronger from it. It was also around the time I started to realize my feeling toward Skyler.

Around that time, we had our first 'Search and Destroy' mission and we had encountered the thing that flipped our life upside down. We stopped a base that had a lot of smuggled Atlesian weapons and robots and had the White Fang in it. It was crazy how the WF was able to have a lot of this, but we knew who helped them as he was none other than Roman Torchwick.

We searched about anything inside the base and found that Roman was working with someone whose symbol was a black queen chess piece. As we were trying to find anything, we got caught and started a fight. After finishing all of the WF members and beating Torchwick easily, we destroyed all of the bases thanks to Violet's BFG 3000 (Don't ask) and returned to Beacon with the secret with us.

Missions later, we found out who was responsible for the smuggling and helping the WF.

Her name was Cinder Fall.

A powerful woman who wouldn't stop from reaching her goals.

She had her circle that consisted of Hazel Reinart, Tyrian Callows, Arthur Watts, Mercury Black, Emerald Sustrai, and Roman Torchwick. Her goal was unknown, yet, what I could have thought of was conquering Remnant and stopping any attempts that try to stop her.

They were using the WF to make all the focus on them and what better way to give them weapons, make them more threatening and make a deal with Adam fucking Taurus.

A good way to fool everyone.

My team wasn't going to stop as we worked together to fight her more and more until we beat her. The WF and Roman Torchwick was been handled by team RWBY and JNPR as they were interfering with them more than us, but it was helpful anyway.

In the third year, things were getting interesting.

Before the year started, I was able to confess my feeling to Skyler and she was very happy to accept them. Carl and Violet also confessed their feeling before us, so that was a thing.

Later in the year, we had a problem in our mission to fight Cinder and her plans. Thankfully, Ozpin was able to help us and soon he told us that he was dealing with Cinder and her plans for years and would give us the support to be able to end her once and for all.

That year was also the Vytal Festival Tournament in Atlas was happening and I thought that we might face a huge problem given how Cinder was using Atlas for her plans.

After some talk with Ozpin, he agreed on having me go on a patrol mission to see if anything was happening in Atlas without no one noticing. I was able to find stuff including my first encounter with Cinder's henchmen.

Hazel Reinart was a giant, buffed guy and wore a Mistralian outfit that handled cold weather. In that fight, he explained his semblance, Numb Agent, where he wouldn't feel the pain from my attacks. I smirked at it and cracked my neck and knuckles before I said that I won't hold back for a bit, and after some of the worst and most painful attacks I gave for someone in a while, he was still standing on his feet but exhausted before I put him down and broke his fingers one by one.

His screams were music to my ears and a nice gift to send to Cinder.

After that, I found a base where Arthur Watts was sitting, trying to hack the tournament and destroy Atlas with it. He wasn't alone though as Tyrian Callows, who was a scorpion Faunus, was helping him and protecting him because Watts would have been kicked against some real professionals and bad placement.

I fought both of them, and let me tell you, Tyrian was annoying to deal with and Watts was trying to use his hacks but both failed to stop me because of my weapons and agility. Then, my team suddenly joined me and we were able to beat them easily before they ran away by exposing their plans to General James Ironwood.

After that, Ironwood asked a professional team called the Ace-Ops and us to find every single place they had and return as many stolen weapons and data as possible.

We did good but it wasn't the only thing we encountered in Atlas.

In one of the missions, we encountered Cinder Fall for the first time. We were standing as she was in front of us with her weapon and anger showed in her eyes. It was screaming that nobody shouldn't mess with her except the brave. (Like me)

Anyways, the fight went on and it had back and forth between Cinder kicking our asses and us working together to beat her. In the middle of the fight, she used lightning on me somehow, and let me tell you, it wasn't a nice feeling at all and destroyed a giant machine on me with the same lightning attack. My team got angry, especially Skyler, and went to attack Cinder with full force. With them going back and forth, she was able to put them down and said things like, 'You are some stubborn, annoying little bugs.' And 'I will put you to your grave like your friend.' While she was talking, I got conscious and activated the Sabrewulf Gauntlets' ability to absorb energy given how the fire was around me and cover me like a blanket.

I was like a small BOOM and walked towards Cinder with slow yet badass and scary steps while absorbing all the fire around me and covering all of my body without being hurt until I revealed myself with a lot of holes and burned marks on my clothes and red angry eyes ready to fight.

After a lot of fighting and going back and forth, Cinder ran but I made sure her body was hurt while I stood breathless and tired at the fight.

The good news was that tournament concluded without any problems.

The bad one was that the relationship with my team began to have small questions given how they got beaten by Cinder, but I was able to pick things up and nothing was bad after it.

The fourth-year…oh…boy…

It was the start of having problems and doubts about continuing this. I was getting a bit obsessed with stopping Cinder and they were worried about me. Carl and I were fighting a lot with Violet agreeing with the blonde guitarist. Sometimes, Skyler was slowly leaning toward Carl and sometimes me, but still, it was the same thing and it was affecting our relationship. However, we continued despite the problems, stopped many plans, encountered Cinder and her lackeys multiple times, and man, we sure had some difficult times dealing with each other and Cinder at the same time.

As we finally graduated, my team and I took a break from hunting Cinder. It was good until I decided to continue stopping Cinder.

This…was the end of our friendship.

We were shouting at each other. I was insisting on continuing. They were tired of continuing this and didn't know if they would be able to survive any longer because of any plans for the future like getting married, having a family, and other stuff.

In the end, they said they wouldn't continue and I'm on my own. Skyler broke our relationship and told me that she might forgive me if I stopped.

I told them that I will continue but I promised that once I finish, we can put it in the past and open a new page.

They ignored me and went on their way as I was dealing with this shit on my own. I was going like a wild man with no tomorrow. I stopped a lot of shit alone or with the assistance of new Huntsmen and Huntresses. I was doing a lot of damage. Either destroying a lot of plans or selling many of their stuff with having some for me and my family and some for charities and things alike.

All of that was very good. I was somehow proud of my progress alone and shit but slapped myself knowing how this might end up.

Until…

Cinder was very furious. She got sick of me and my actions to ruin her plans. She wanted to do anything to stop me but she knew I'm not an easy guy to kill despite not knowing whatsoever about my Healing Factor. She thought of many ideas to stop me and failed until she tried to accuse me of a crime by using fake videos and evidence to make this case as impossible to figure out as possible.

It worked.

It got everywhere and I was wanted for justice.

Thankfully, my family didn't believe it and said that they would help me as much as possible. I told them to save my weapons and transferred all of my money to them until I decide to take it back later. To ensure their safety, I went away as much as possible from them to keep them away from any problems.

I was able to get caught by good force and decided to not make them have a win easily as I knew they were linked to Cinder. I had a lot of fun beating them until they finally were able to put me down, but it was worth fighting them anyway.

In the court, I saw all of the evidence and videos that were straight bullshit, but damn, they did a good job faking out everything. I didn't help but get angry. I was shouting and cursing Cinder and said how she should have surrendered early, she messed with the wrong person and that I will put her down when she won't expect it, and fighting all of the pullings at the same time before they slammed my head and shocked me to be able to strain me and send me to the hardest and best prison in Vale.

The next thing I saw when I woke up was my new prison.

How was I?

I woke in a blue prison outfit and a heavy metal ball attached to a collar on my left leg that disabled my aura and had to carry it around everywhere I went because of its heaviness. The security on me was strict as hell. Cameras in my detention room. Many cameras around the prison to watch everyone. Tight people watch me everywhere I go.

There was a backyard where some prisoners were standing outside and used pickaxes to break rocks. I said 'Damn! They still do this?' and they answered me with yes, and a small explanation. There were also watchtowers and the walls that have switched to activate the electricity with a very high voltage and spikes on the top if they got late activating the switch.

When I went to eat something, I noticed the amount of watching I have been blessed with, blessed to the point I said 'Thank you for giving me your attention.' The prisoners were confused as to why I complimented it. There was also fighting against some of the prisoners, but I made my name when I embarrassed the strongest in front of everyone to the point I became the new king.

Well, these were something, and the next shit was something else.

They planted a small chip in my neck on my arrival at the prison. That chip was something that had me thinking a lot. They told me that it tracked you and if you ran away, you would either get electrified or the bomb inside you would explode with a button touch, which was the big problem.

Later, I knew about who was watching my chip.

His name was Jimmy. He wore a formal outfit, a wavy mustache, dumb hair, glasses, and always carries my chip's tablet. He was visiting me every week. He said about his help to Cinder as he didn't need to hide it from me. He was arrogant, making fun of me, all of this made me want to kill him on the spot, but I didn't because I knew that wouldn't end nicely for me. He also told me about having a control room that can activate the ship like an idiot which I kept in mind for later.

In the first months, I was sitting and doing the normal stuff.

I didn't have any plans, especially since Jimmy wasn't visiting me daily and the prison was near impossible to escape.

I was sitting, thinking about what I did, breaking stones, going back to my room, eating my lunch, breaking stones, sitting, observing the surroundings, breaking stones.

During those times, I had my first visit, and the person I wasn't expecting to visit me.

It was my sister Azure who visited me.

She told me that she had a very difficult time arranging a visit with me until she was able to make a deal and time to visit me. I noticed her left hand had a ring as she was hiding it away from me for some reason.

I talked with her, said that everything was fine, I'm okay, and that I didn't want any help at the moment. I asked her to tell Ozpin to continue what I was building up or at least try because with me on the sideways, I wasn't helpful in a secret way that she understood it. Before I went out, I said to her to inform the family that I'm okay and congratulated her for marrying before I finished our conversation together.

Following weeks went by normally before the first light of hope hit me.

It was one of the days I was laying on my bed and thinking. In that position, I noticed something was on the metal rope I had. It had a small, yet noticeable scratch, and thought for a bit about how it happened until I realized I hit the metal accidentally multiple times.

It was the beginning of the escape plan.

I thought how can I escape and thought the only way to escape was from the outside. When I was thinking of a plan, I accidentally hit the metal rope and used rocks to cover it with a force that didn't break it entirely and didn't release a loud sound. It was slow and didn't work every day but I was trying.

I also started singing.

Singing loudly.

Loud enough that the prison can hear me. My voice wasn't bad and I remembered many songs to sing. I sang to the point where everyone started to get used to me, didn't give a shit, covered their ears, or liked my singing. I was singing anywhere. Singing in my room or outside, and with it, I was able to comprehend the metal rope idea.

Then, the day of escaping arrived. I was breaking stones outside with my metal rope being one hit to split it from the ball. I had two rocks to throw at the two guys in the watchtower to knock them off from using their guns in my pockets. Jimmy was having his showing off schedule. The sky was cloudy to give some drama to the scene.

Perfect!

And that was how did we get here.

Messed-up shit was happening all over the place and I'm not too proud of what I did. I focused on an object that destroyed my relationship with my friends and girlfriend. I got imprisoned for EIGHT months behind some of the tightest security in Remnant and knowing the fact, that when I get caught again, they would improve it and my life would be as hellish as possible.

I was running quickly with a prison outfit that looked obvious, so I had to maneuver the city from rooftops until I'm able to get a ride to Patch.

As I moved on, I thought of changing the clothes I was wearing, so I could walk around normally and cover my head from the rain that would soon fall upon me. So, I did what I didn't want to do and stole.

Thankfully, some stores were the type that shows their products outside as a way to grab anyone's interest. I snatched a jacket with a hoodie, black jeans, and sporting shoes for the time being. I went into a hallway and started changing my clothes, and thankfully, nobody noticed me at all. Then, I stepped outside of the hallway, covered my head with the hoodie, and walked around like a normal person.

As I walked, it started to rain slowly, and didn't need to have this right now but I held myself. I was singing 'The More' By Jeff Williams, and Lamar Hall. It was kinda fitting for my situation, not gonna lie.

More walking later, I stopped at a traffic sign, next to me were multiple people standing with a few having an umbrella. I looked around and noticed a public phone. I had an idea of calling Ozpin but I needed a penny to be able to call him. As I was standing, my shoes made a contact with something on the ground, I removed my leg and saw a penny on the ground.

I picked it up and saw that it didn't look bad, which I could use to call Ozpin, "What a lucky day!" I whispered.

Indeed, I was lucky enough.

I crossed the street and inserted the coin. I started typing numbers but it wasn't just Ozpin's number. It was a number to activate a secret code that allowed calling Ozpin without being able to get detected, and after that, I entered Ozpin's number and waited a few seconds.

I looked around and everything was good. No one wanted to get me and quietness was superior in this atmosphere.

"Enter code!" A robotic voice answered,

I will tell you a small story before I enter the code.

This access was given to me and the team when Ozpin found out about what we were doing, He gave us access to this secret way to call when the situation was fucked. I didn't use it but I knew it would come in handy like this day.

"Activate secret calls code: Zero, Zero, One, Zero, Three, Zero, Five, Two, Zero, Zero, Four, One, Nine, Nine, Zero. The name: Ace Storm. Codename: Mr. Fancy pants." I entered the code.

Now, I knew what were you thinking, but it was the best way to hide it. The harder and silly the code, the better. My team, RWBY, and JNPR had access to this code and they also had a hard number to memorize and a silly codename that none would be able to figure out easily.

I bet Jaune had something like 'Vomit Boy' and Nora had something like 'Thunder Thighs'.

"Code registered! Please, wait."

That was it. A direct call to Ozpin and nobody wouldn't know about it.

"Hello."

"Hi, professor. Been a while since we talked, isn't it?" I greeted,

"Glad to hear your voice again, Mr. Storm. Indeed, it was a while since we have any communication."

"Me too…Ozpin, I need your help at the moment. I barely escaped the prison and it's a matter of time before they start searching for me." I informed,

"Well, I'm happy to help you, Mr. Storm. After all, I told you that I would help you as much as I could. Especially, with all of the efforts, you did in the last years."

"Thank you so much, professor. Now, I need you to activate Dr. Frost's identity. I will call you later with my scroll to have it, so from now on and until this shit gets done, Frosty will be the person to take the lead."

Now, Dr. Frost is a nickname of my mine, but I thought that maybe I should use it in a way for some type of mission that needed stealth and hiding my I.D.

"It will be done, Dr. Frost… Anything else?"

"Not now, I will tell you what I need later, and before I go, can you tell Lisa that I'm back?"

"Very well…see you soon."

With that, the call finished and now, I needed to go back to Patch.

Simple as that.

All I needed was some luck and I could get back to the game.

After I was able to arrive at Patch safely, I walked to my family's house. The rain wasn't so strong, gratefully, and the road was clear for most of the time. Not many people and cars could be found moving in this place.

As I was walking, I was thinking about one thing. I deserved the punishment that fell upon me. I didn't mean by I'm thankful that I was in the prison. No, I deserved the bad things that happened to me after my stubbornness led me to this situation. I made fighting Cinder my main concern and it cost me my friends and my freedom. If I met my team again, I would apologize, and if they still hate me, that's okay…I deserve it anyway.

I teared up a bit at the thought and couldn't help but drop a few tears. I can't change the past. What was done was done. I can't think of the past always and should think of the future more. Learning from our mistakes is a part of our life, after all.

As I was walking around the gray atmosphere of Patch, I finally arrived at the house. I smiled widely and paced up my speed to reach the house. I was very excited to meet them after eight months of staying in a very tight prison. Eight fucking months that felt like years. Even though I wouldn't be able to stay with them a lot because Cinder might have started searching for me, still that's a nice thing to have.

I stood in front of the house's door and pressed the bell, waiting for anyone to open the door.

I waited for a few seconds until someone opened the door. I saw my father opening the door and looked at me for a second, confused because of my hoodie covering my head, so, I took it off and smiled at him, "Hi, dad!"

My father's eyes were wide open and approached me with a strong hug. I hugged back with the same strength.

"Oh my god, Ace! Thank goodness, you're okay!" He said with tears falling from his eyes.

"Honey! Who are you talking with?" I heard the voice of my mother and she was coming to check on my father.

She saw me and gasped from the shock, "ACE!" She approached me with a hug stronger than my father and I hugged with the same strength.

"Oh, my baby! I was worried a lot about you. Good thing you're still okay." She caressed my cheek, looking at how my facial hair had grown but didn't care as she got reunited with her son, "Come on, let's go inside." She pulled me inside the house and my father followed us inside and closed the door behind him.

I checked the dining room and noticed that my brother was sitting and writing his homework or notes and looked to see us after the door got closed. When he saw me, his bored expression turned to surprise and turned to happiness quickly before he jumped off the chair and went to hug me.

I hugged my brother tightly. He was shorter than me but it didn't affect the hug. I rubbed my hand on his black hair.

After that, the last person that came was my young sister Luna, who certainly became 7 years old after the time I spent in prison. She ran to me and I knelt and hugged her. My tears were falling quickly as it was very hard to contain them. I missed my sister, her birthday, and her first day in school. How am I supposed to be a good brother for her if I can't spend a good amount of time with her?

"Ace, you're a big meanie! You didn't come to visit us and you didn't come to my or Seth's birthday!" Luna pouted at me.

Yeah, you have the right to be angry at me, sister.

"I'm sorry, Luna. I was very busy lately and I couldn't visit you. I promise that I won't miss your next birthday."

"You better be," Luna said before she hugged me again.

After we had our family reunion, I was sitting on the couch and discussing with my parents the next steps.

"Are you sure you won't be able to stay more?" My mother asked in concern.

"Unfortunately, they might get here any time soon and start interrogating you. I don't want you to get involved in my troubles. I'm the one who caused these troubles and I'm the one who should end them. After all, I deserve this shit I'm not proud of." I confirmed as I looked down.

"Ace, don't start about blaming yourself again." My father tried to comfort me. "We know that you still hate yourself for what happened between you and your friends, but that was a long time ago and you should stop. They might have forgiven you after all of this time…maybe, but point is, you can open a new white page with them. Hell, maybe you can marry her because your mother is waiting for her grandchildren."

I raised my head and looked at them in confusion, "What?"

"Right, Azure is having a baby later with her husband. The news was 2 months ago, by the way. It's not too late for you to have one if you were able to finish your situation sooner. Hurry up or Lisa will have children while you're still a fugitive." My mother ended on a serious note.

"R-Really?! So, I will become an uncle! I honestly thought about it when I noticed her ring in the prison when she visited me, but still," I thought back at the time she visited me and now, I won't need to be just a good brother, but also a good uncle for my nephew or niece. But the thought of fixing my relationship with Skyler was doubtful, "About that, I don't know, mom. A lot of time went by, I think she-"

"Don't lose your hope yet, child!" My mother suddenly hit the table with her fist, making me and my father startled, "You won't know until you confirm it. Will you lose hope of getting her back?" She had a good point, not gonna lie. "This is might be your last chance of love. I would be heartbroken if you failed in it. I talked with her multiple times and she's a very good girl. She's beautiful, caring, and ready to have the responsibility of having a family."

I thought for a moment. First of all, yeesh. Secondly, did she approve of the idea of marrying her?! "Wait, you mean-"

"Yes, her attentions are pure and made it clear that she will love you and help you in the hard days." My father confirmed.

I was stunned as I covered my face and start tearing up. I knew they cared about me a lot, but damn, they give me the best thing anyone could ask for, "I-I don't know what to say. You are the greatest parents anyone could have. Still, I have some doubts about it, but we will see."

I stood up, hugged my parents with affection and they hugged me back before I released my hug and headed to my room to grab some clothes and have a shower on this rainy day.

I picked up my clothes and headed toward the bathroom. I went to shave my facial hair and shortened my hair a bit. It had been a long time since I shaved them, hasn't it? Then, I had the best bath I took ever and I was able to destress myself. I picked up my scroll and called Ozpin in the secret calls and informed him to send Dr. Frost Identity in the middle of it.

As I became Dr. Frost from now on until I finish this mess and got my money back, I got out of the bathroom and dressed in my usual outfit but added on it a Japanese black and blue kimono and a straw hat.

A day after my arrival, I was ready to move on and start the first mission to fight Cinder back. Ozpin sent the coordinates and I prepared myself with my hidden outfit, hidden weapons inside my kimono, and changed my voice to make sure I'm unrecognizable.

As I was standing and watching the sky inside my house, I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, not knowing what will the future carry.

"Is there anything else we can help you with?" My mother behind me asked,

"No, from now on. You should call me Dr. Frost or Frosty." I said in a deep and raspy voice. "Should I call you in your name or be formal?" I turned to her.

"Our names, Frosty." She chose as she hugged me. "I'm not comfortable with having you say, Ms. Storm."

As we finished, I turned to my father and hugged him. Then, I hugged my brother and he hugged me back, "Good luck, big brother." I patted his shoulder.

Then, I looked at my young sister, Luna, in her school outfit and ready to go, but she was sad that I wouldn't stay longer. "Ace, do you promise to come back and spend some time with us?" I nodded in approval before I hugged her.

Of course, I wouldn't refuse, she's my sister and I should spend some time with her. I wouldn't be a good brother to her if I didn't make my promises as she would not trust me when she grows up.

After that, I walked out of the house and made my first steps as Dr. Frost.

"Game on, Cinder Fall," I said to myself as I put on the hat and start walking.

In a hidden base, Cinder Fall was sitting on her chair as she was the boss in all of her operations. She was controlling everything and making sure there weren't any bad things happening around, but something hit her lately, which she encountered with Ace Storm and his team. They were the most annoying, noisy, and dangerous threat she had to deal with the moment they discovered her operations of her a few years ago.

They were very problematic until she decided to go herself and didn't expect how stubborn that blue-haired boy and those brats in the fight could be. Later, Ace started to fight her operations alone. She figured out that his team stopped helping him and left him alone. However, Ace was very problematic by himself. He made her pay a lot of money to pay back the damage he caused. She thought about having him in prison which worked. She didn't encounter many problems during the eight months and the threats that came after didn't have the same effect.

Today, Jimmy was having his weekly news about how Ace was after she heard about some noisy talk lately.

"Now, Jimmy. Tell me…how's our prisoner?"

"U-Um. I-I'm afraid t-t-to say that we have bad news." Jimmy stuttered in fear.

Cinder turned to Jimmy and narrowed her eyes at him with anger building up, "What do you mean by bad news?" She asked in a stern voice.

"W-Well, A-A-Ace m-m-managed to escape and we are s-s-searching for him." Jimmy was shaken as he was scared and covered his face with the paper he had.

The moment Jimmy said Ace escaped, the air got suddenly thick, the anger in Cinder was building up it was starting to break the glass, "Do you have the slightest idea what that means?" Cinder said as her nails were scratching the table.

"I-I-I ca-"

"NO!" Cinder turned the table of her office to the side and walked closely to Jimmy, "How on Remnant did he escape? More importantly, do you understand what are we dealing with?"

"F-Forgive me, boss. I-I was underwhelmed with the situation and…" Jimmy sat on his knees in panic and wheezed as he was ready to have the punishment.

Cinder grabbed a handful of his hair and raised his head to her, "If it wasn't for the help you have been providing, I would have killed you right on the spot." Cinder removed her grip and walked back to put her office back, "Notify everyone of the new orders. Ace Storm should be hunted and back to the worst prison with more security before I finish him off. Always, and ALWAYS, keep your guard up or death will be your new friend." Cinder ordered unsympathetically.

Jimmy nodded and picked up his stuff before he left.

Cinder pinched the bridge of her nose and gritted her teeth in frustration. She took a deep breath and opened her eyes.

"I won't let you live after this mistake, brat." Cinder grabbed her weapons and closed her eyes.

"Game on, Ace Storm."

AN: Here it is, ladies and gentlemen. I had this idea for a while and thought of writing it lately. Surprisingly, I was able to finish it in two days. TWO DAYS! I don't do that in my main story but that's insane.

I think I might make this into a full story in the future, but who knows. I also have other ideas for one-shots but it will wait until I fully fledge them in my head and start writing them.

Also, the soundtrack of V8 has been released. Hell yeah! Casey and Jeff took a lot of time but it was due to personal issues. Finally, we can stop moaning about the soundtrack and think about when will V9 get released. Boohoo.

New AN: Hi, this is me after I tried to fix it. Shout out to Malchroma for his review. It was the first criticism I had since I was working on RWBY: Shapeshifter to Remnant and had a writer's block that slowly led to 'One More Chance'.

I tried to fix anything, especially since the internet was having its monthly slowing down and I was trying to overcome my laziness to write 'One More Chance' and a new story idea that I have been writing lately.

It will be a one-shot like 'Unfinished Business' with the possibility of becoming a bigger story in the future.

Also, I will try to see and fix some problems in 'One More Chance' as much as I could around this time, so don't expect the next chapter until maybe later this month.

Now, don't forget to tell me your opinion on it.

Sincerely, Eslam.
