Olivia, Olive and the kids spent all afternoon out at the pool. As soon as the squad returned, Hank and Justin left and headed home. By the time they were pulling into the driveway, they saw Ed and Kevin walking towards the house from Trevor and Lisa's. Hank parked in the garage and Justin parked in the driveway. Hank came out of the garage.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"We didn't know you were coming."

"It was a last minute thing. Rafael was supposed to bring him but Michelle is on bedrest for the remainder of her pregnancy, so Maggie and I decided to bring him out here. The good news is that we are here without the boys."

"How did you manage that?"

"Richard's parents and younger siblings came in for the weekend, so they are watching the boys. Is Olivia home yet?"

"Yeah. She's probably out by the pool. Come on in."

"Thanks."

They walked in and headed out to the backyard.

"Hey."

"Hey."

Hank bent down to kiss Olivia and Lexie and Justin did the same to Olive. Then they went to hug the boys.

"Look who's here."

"Again?"

"Maggie and I brought Kevin. Michelle is on bedrest for the remainder of her pregnancy. The Stablers are visiting, so they are spending time with the boys. We decided to stay for a few days."

"That sounds like fun."

"Maggie wanted to spend more time with Lisa and I do have time to use up before I am done."

"How long have you been doing the cop thing?"

"30 years but it seems like more."

"I'm close to that."

"Me too. Most of that was with the Rat Squad, right? Ever since I've know you, you were with IAB."

"Yep. I just want to be able to spend time with Maggie. It seems like we're here more than New York lately."

Then Maggie and Lisa came around to the backyard and Lisa sat down on one of the chairs.

"Hey."

"Hello."

"How's it going?"

"Honestly, not too bad. I needed to get out for a while. I am so grateful for Rita. If she can't be at our house, Sarah has been sending her oldest son over. Trevor called and told me what happened with Olive. Everything is ok though?"

"Now, yes."

"That happened to be our suspect from a case we had this morning. Some days are better than others."

"That's for sure."

Hank and Justin went to change their clothes.

"Did Edward tell you that Michelle is now on bedrest?"

"He did. I still think Rafael will pass out in the Delivery Room."

"Grandma Lucia says the same thing. They've gone to the birthing classes and he can barely handle that."

"I remember going through that with Hank. He couldn't handle the videos."

"That's apparently what Dad has a hard time with. I'm just glad Mom has someone to go through this with this time. She only had her parents when she had me."

"I know your dad would have been there if he was still alive and if I had known about it, I would have been there. Actually, your dad would have married her."

"Mom said that if he hadn't died, she was planning to move back to New York. She never intended to keep me out of your life as long as she did. She just didn't think the timing was appropriate."

"I know that, Sweetie."

"I missed out on a lot by not having a dad growing up. Mom did the best she could."

"If anyone understand that, I do. You have turned out to be an amazing young man, just like your dad."

"I wish I had had the chance to meet him."

"He would have loved you."

"Aunt Maggie, you did a great job with Kevin. A lot better than Mom ever did with me. Sometimes I don't even know why she had me in the first place. It was always so obvious that she favored Sarah over me. Dad came over to see me and the kids the other day and he said Mom is still complaining about everything. She still thinks what happened to me is Olivia's fault. I'm a Sergeant and if my Lieutenant isn't there, I'm in charge."

"Dad was a Sergeant and he was in charge of the scene they were at the day he was killed because his Lieutenant wasn't there. He had already taken the Lieutenant's exam because his Lieutenant was retiring soon. He received the letter that he passed it the day he was killed."

"Unfortunately, that happens all the time."

"I completely forgot about that. She really does think I'm going to end up like Pop."

"In a way, she does. Dad loved all 6 of you but it was quite obvious that you were his favorite. You knew early on that you wanted to be a cop just like him."

"He's the one that inspired me to be a cop but the main reason I'm doing what I'm doing is because of what happened to you."

"That sounds like me. I was the product of my mother's rape and Noah was also the product of rape. I've been sexually assaulted twice but I have never been raped. It was close both times."

"The William Lewis thing was you, right?"

"Yeah."

Hank and Justin came back outside.

"What happened the other time?"

"I went undercover in a prison because we were trying to find out who was raping all these female inmates. I went undercover as an inmate and Fin went undercover as a prison guard. It turned out to be one of the other prison guards that was doing it. He took me to a hallway in the basement area and tried to force me to perform oral on him. I don't know what I would have done if Fin hadn't shown up. I suffered from PTSD after that. After what happened with William Lewis, I had nightmares. They have been better since I have been with Hank. The last one I had was just before we left for our honeymoon."

"I've been going through that too even though I was only held for a few hours."

"I've been having issues after what happened with Bunny. Dr. Charles has been great."

"He sure has."

"Definitely."

"Olive, if you ever need to talk about what happened today, you know where to find me. Anything can trigger you at any time or it could start going through your mind when you're trying to sleep. Justin, just be prepared, ok?"

"Oh, yeah. I know."

"Your support system is very important."

"Thanks."

"Our jobs can be so difficult at times."

"So can mine. Whenever we have a case that involves a guy doing something to his wife and young children, I can't help but think about you, Noah and Lexie."

"I know."

"I have done some things that I am not proud of but I am trying to be a better person for you and our children. If I don't behave, you might arrest me. Although that was in New York."

"Nope. It applies here too. Although I love that you got into it with Elliot."

"You knew that I wasn't going to let him get away with pushing me down and kissing you."

"He crossed the line when he did that. You're the only man I want anyway. You did give me the one thing I wanted the most and that was our beautiful daughter."

"Dada!"

"Are you Daddy's girl?"

Lexie smiled at Hank, so he kissed her. Justin took the boys into the water and then Hank and Olivia took Lexie in, while everyone else put their feet in the water.

"Mommy."

"What?"

"Can Adam, Tyler and Ben sleepover?"

"Tonight?"

"Yeah. Please."

"What do you think, Daddy?"

"I guess it's fine."

"Lisa?"

"I was going to ask you if Noah could stay over at our house tonight. Ben is sleeping over and it always seems like they stay over here."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. Emily is staying with Trevor's parents tonight."

"Is Kevin staying with you and Trevor or Sarah and Greg?"

"Us."

"Good luck with the sleepover tonight."

"You're not staying with them while you're here?"

"No. We're staying at a hotel."

"So, when are your cousins moving here?"

"It should be soon, I would think, since they have to get the kids registered for school. It'll no doubt be a private school."

"It's not like you and Trevor couldn't afford to put your kids in a private school."

"I know we could but they are already registered for Kindergarten at the school nearby."

"We're so glad Daniel was able to get into Preschool."

"Yeah, we are too."

Lisa's cousin PJ came around back and had Emily on his shoulders.

"Lisa, you have a visitor."

Lisa turned her head.

"Hey."

"Hey, yourself."

"Noah!"

"Hi Emily."

"So, what brings you here?"

"I decided to surprise you for a few days. Is that ok?"

"Yeah, that's more than ok. You can come visit us anytime. How did you know where I was?"

"Em told me, which is why she came with me. Hey, Aunt Maggie and Uncle Ed."

"Hey, PJ."

"Everyone but you knew I was coming. Aunt Maggie and Uncle Ed knew, Mom and Dad knew, Sarah and Greg knew and so did Trevor. I heard from Mom that you won't let Aunt Pauline see the kids."

"That would be correct."

"She's a piece of work."

"That's true."

"I've known her longer than any of you and yes, she is."

"How long are you staying?"

"A week, actually. I have an interview here on Monday. I decided I wanted to be closer to you and not just because Jen and Tracy are moving here."

"Are your parents planning to move here?"

"Jen and Tracy are trying to talk them into it but Mom doesn't necessarily want to leave New York. Mostly I think it's because she doesn't want you or Uncle Ed to be by yourselves if something happens and one of you ends up in the hospital. She knows you have Jenna and her husband and Kevin is close by too though."

"Always the big sister, isn't she? Honestly, I always got along better with her than I ever did with Pauline."

"Somedays I think I'm closer to both you and Aunt Ellen than I am to my own mother. I thought she had changed for the better after Gram died. We finally had the relationship that I had always wanted to have with her and she had started bonding more with Emily."

"Like I said before, she sees what happened to you as exactly what happened to Dad. Not that I am making excuses for her."

"Mom said the same thing to me. Seriously, has Aunt Pauline ever considered talking to someone about her issues?"

"She doesn't think she has a problem. She blames Olivia for what happened to me and then Trevor told her that she couldn't see the kids if that's how she was going to be. I happen to agree with what he did. Sarah won't let her see the boys either. Dad spends time at our house but he has about had it with Mom."

"We heard that. Ellen and Paul came over for dinner the other night and Steve was still at the hospital, so he called and told us what he thought of Pauline lately. I hate to say this because she's our sister but we are siding with the rest of you. You and Trevor had every right to keep her grandchildren from her for the way she was treating Olivia after what happened to you."

"She won't see them until she apologizes to Olivia. It's that simple."

"Well, Ed, you married into a crazy family."

"I know I did. All 3 sisters are a bit on the crazy side."

"You said it, Uncle Ed."

PJ took Emily off his shoulders and then she went to sit on Ed's lap.

"Boy, someone really has her great uncle wrapped around her little finger."

"Oh, yes. She certainly does."

"I never would have ever figured you'd be such an old softy."

"I must be mellowing with age but don't tell anyone. I have a reputation."

"Yeah, no kidding. I like this version of you much better."

"Blame Maggie."

"I guess we need to blame someone."

"What do we want to do for dinner?"

"How about burgers?"

"That sounds great. I think we still have some in the freezer."

Everyone talked for a little while longer and then Lisa and her family went home. Hank told her he would bring Noah over after dinner. Hank called Erin to see if she and Jay wanted to come over for dinner. She said they'd be over as soon as they went home to change but she said they would call when they were on their way. As soon as Erin called, Hank and Justin started the grill and fixed the burgers. They ate dinner and then after a while, Hank took Noah over to the Langan's for his sleepover, while everyone else went into the pool.

The rest of the weekend seemed to go quickly. On Sunday afternoon, Ed and Maggie returned to New York and then everyone got ready for the week.

Stay tuned…
