A/N: I haven't forgotten about this story. I don't own any of the characters except my own.

Things for the most part had gotten back to normal at the Voight house. Hank was back to work but still on light duty as was Olivia but she was back to driving. They had finally decided to head to New York for the weekend but it was only going to be the 4 of them. By the time they arrived in New York, they went to get their luggage and then went to get their rental. They went to the hotel to get checked in and then they headed to the Precinct. Everyone was at their desks and Amanda was there with the girls. All the kids were asleep.

"That's who we wanted to meet."

"Hey, Liv."

"Hey, Amanda. She's precious."

"Thanks."

Amanda handed Billie to Olivia.

"I can't get over how big Lexie is gettin'."

"Tell me about it. She's a handful."

"So is Jesse."

"She looks like her daddy."

"Yep. Are you just here for the weekend?"

"We figured only a few days here was all we needed. I'm ready for another vacation."

Michelle came out of her office.

"Hey, you 4."

"Hey. How's Lucie?"

"She's feisty but that isn't surprising considering who her father is."

"True."

"How've you been, Liv?"

"Considering what happened, not too bad. My family is so amazing. Justin ditched Intelligence and is now officially working with me."

"It was only a matter of time. I still have Jay. If Mouse needs time off, then I get Justin back."

"Yeah, true."

"Are Erin and Olive back to work yet?"

"They go back on Monday."

"Me too and I'm not really looking forward to it."

"Erin isn't either. I'm still on light duty and so is Hank. Not that it matters at this point, since Lisa, Kyle and Antonio are all quite capable of handling things. They are all willing to take on more responsibility."

"Fin has been better."

"I try."

Then Melinda came in.

"Hey, Mel."

"Hey."

Melinda hugged Olivia and Hank.

"How are you both doing?"

"Better. Hank's been back to work but still on light duty and I'm also on light duty. Justin is pretty much working with me now."

"That's good, right?"

"Yeah. After he was there after I fell, he decided to stick around. If Mouse needs some time off then Justin will help out in Intelligence."

Then Dickie came in and kissed Jenna.

"Hey, Babe."

"Hey."

Then he hugged Olivia.

"How was your trip to Seattle?"

"It was ok. I'm glad to be done with all that. We all are."

"Lizzie told me that he had pictures of me all over his apartment."

"Yep, he did. Mom also found proof that he was planning to take Olivia. I went through his computer and he had gone into websites on how to file for a divorce."

"Let me guess, he was planning to send my husband papers saying they were from me hoping to break us up."

"That would be my guess. Whatever was wrong with him was no little thing."

"How's Olivia doing?"

"She's pretty confused by all this. We're all trying to be as supportive as we can. She adores Jack though."

"Which would have pissed Elliot off."

"Definitely. Do you have time to see Grandma while you're here?"

"Sure. How does tonight sound?"

"I'll call her."

"Ok."

Dickie called Bernadette.

"Is 6 ok?"

"That's fine."

Dickie told Bernadette he would pick her up to meet them by 6. They once he hung up, he and Olivia decided on a place to meet.

"What are your parents up to this weekend, Jenna?"

"They went on a cruise, so we are on our own. Lucy will be back to watching Amanda and Sonny's kids by next week but Mom and Dad are gone for a week, so Lucy is helping out with them, which we really appreciate."

"Oh, that's right. I remember Lisa talking about that because her parents and Ellen and Paul were going too."

"Yep. Kevin is spending some time with them too."

"He loves them so much and he will miss them and Ed and Maggie when you all move to Chicago."

"I miss everyone since I moved to Chicago. I'm not surprised that Ed and Maggie are moving to Chicago. They're there more than they're not."

"A lot of that was us too. I wanted to be closer to Liz."

"Who is keeping an eye on your grandma?"

"Kathleen will be coming out here every other weekend to spend time with her, since she'll now be the closest."

"Is she still on the beach?"

"Yep. She doesn't want to give up her house. We would love for her to get a place at a Senior Living Facility, so she will always have someone around but she doesn't want to. Even Dad tried to get her to give up the house. We're just worried about her falling and not having anyone around."

"That's the thing with my grandparents too but at least the Langans are right next door, so they can check in on them."

"Speaking of your grandparents, how did things go with your ex?"

"He's still trying to weasel his way back into my life even after I told him I was married. I won't tell him about the boys and he has no claim to them anyway. I didn't list him on their Birth Certificates and Dickie is now their dad."

Dickie got a call, so he left and then SVU got a call as well. Everyone left and then Hank, Olivia, Melinda and Amanda decided to grab a bite to eat. On the way to the restaurant, the kids had woken up. When they arrived at the restaurant, they got out of their respective vehicles.

"Jesse!"

"Noah!"

Noah hugged Jesse and then they headed inside. They decided what they wanted and then Hank went to get it, while Olivia, Melinda, Amanda and the kids went to find a table.

"How's it goin', Liv?"

"I'm fine. Really."

"You're sure?"

"Yeah especially after everything he pulled in the last year. I tried with him but he had just become too obsessed with me and his main goal since coming back into my life was ruining my marriage. He just couldn't let me be happy. I've seen what happens when a man becomes too obsessed with the woman he supposedly cares about."

"Yeah, true."

Hank brought the food over and everyone ate.

"Thanks for this."

"No problem."

"So, Stabler actually wanted to file charges against Voight for what happened?"

"Yep. I knew Hank would react the way he did. All he was doing was protecting me."

"I wasn't that impressed when he showed up at SVU last year when Fin got into it with him. Amaro could be pretty arrogant but he would never do what Stabler did."

"Nick did remind me a lot of Elliot when we first worked together and so did Hank. Hank became friends with Ed, which I never expected and Nick and Ed are now civil to one another. Ed really tried with Elliot because of their kids but Elliot acted like it was the end of the world because his son had married Ed Tucker's daughter. It's Dickie's choice. Not his father's. Just like who I choose to be with is my choice and no one else's."

"Exactly. I didn't expect Sonny's family to like me because of everything I've been through but his mom and I get along really well. She loves Jesse just as much as she loves Billie. His family has been helping out with both of them. I was afraid to get married because I didn't want to mess this up. I haven't had the best luck with relationships."

"If anyone knows how you feel, I do. Hank is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I wouldn't change that for anything."

"I feel the same way about Sonny."

"When Elliot had sent a letter to CPD saying he wanted to file charges against Hank, Hank's boss got involved and so did Internal Affairs. Ed told Lieutenant Bradley to contact Lieutenant Davis to get Elliot's IAB file, so he did. Lieutenant Bradley made the comment that Elliot's Internal Affairs file was bigger than Hank's."

"I can imagine and Tucker would know that."

"Exactly. Thankfully the charges were dropped. Even if Elliot hadn't been killed by Hank's former CI, Hank had my support 100%. I don't blame him for any of this and neither does the Stabler family. Hank has been better as far as his temper goes but I'm not responsible for what he does when provoked. I've told people that including Elliot. Elliot chose not to listen."

"You can't blame Hank for that. He's only protecting the woman he loves."

"I know that and he knows I appreciate that. I know it has worked for you and Carisi but I never wanted to cross that line."

"It's hard for us working together sometimes but this is the first relationship I have gotten right. I worry about him constantly but at least I'll be right there when something happens and the same if something happens to me."

"We know how that goes. We work together a lot."

They continued talking as they ate. Once they were done, Amanda took the girls home, Hank and Olivia took the kids back to the hotel and Melinda went back to the Morgue. When Dickie and Jenna got home, Dickie called Olivia and said they would be there soon. Hank, Olivia and the kids headed to the restaurant. Once they arrived, they got out of their vehicles.

"Hello Olivia."

"Hi Bernadette. This is my husband Hank and two of our kids, Noah and Alexandra. Hank, this is Bernadette Stabler."

"It's nice to meet you, Ma'am."

"You too. She is precious."

"She's a handful though."

"How old is she?"

"Almost 17 months. We'll be married 2 years in May."

"He's a handsome one."

"Thank you. I think so too."

"I'm sorry for everything that happened between you and that son of mine. I told him he needed to quit pining for someone he couldn't have. He chose not to listen to anyone. Kathy was too good for him and honestly so were you."

"Thank you. It's no one's fault but his that he chose not to listen."

"That's true."

They went to get a table and then they were seated. Then the server came to take their order.

"When do Ed and Maggie close on the new place?"

"Next month."

"I assume Trevor or Greg is helping, right?"

"Yeah. One of them is helping with the new place. We need to look for a Preschool for the boys though."

"Our Nanny's mother runs the Preschool where Noah and Emily go and she said to give her a call."

"Great."

"I'm not sure I want to stay here by myself. I'm not getting any younger, you know."

"Yeah, I know, Grandma."

"What if something happens to me?"

"I'll talk to Maureen, Kathleen and Lizzie and we'll see what we can come up with."

"Ok. Where are you now, Olivia?"

"Chicago. I had no idea that Lizzie was there until a little over a year ago but now we see each other all the time."

"I heard what happened Hawaii."

"I told the kids and Kathy that I wanted them in my life but I wasn't sure I wanted Elliot in my life if he couldn't accept that I was happy. His goal ever since was trying to break up my marriage."

"I'm not sure why Kathy stayed with him as long as she did."

"Neither are we, Grandma. He couldn't allow me to be happy either."

"It's your choice and not his. The same with your sisters.

Dickie texted his sisters and then they got their food. After they ate and had dessert, they talked for a while and then everyone left. Hank and Olivia took the kids back to the hotel and put them to bed, while Jenna took the boys home to put them to bed and Dickie took Bernie home. After he dropped her off, he joined Jenna and the boys at home. Rafael had texted Olivia to see if they wanted to meet for breakfast. She asked Hank and he agreed, so she replied back. They set the time and the place and then everyone went to bed.

The next morning, they got up and got ready. Then they headed to the restaurant to meet the Barbas.

"Hey, Liv."

"Hey, Rafa."

"Hello Olivia."

"Hi Lucia. Lucie is getting so big and she looks like her daddy."

"She is getting big and yes, she does look like her daddy."

"How are you, Kevin?"

"I'm doing great. Thanks."

"Sure."

"How are you, Lucia?"

"I'm great. It's nice to see all of you again."

"You too."

Everyone went in and got a table and then then had their order taken once they decided what they wanted.

"How are you two doing?"

"Not too bad. We're both still on light duty. The 3 Sergeants are perfectly capable of handling things."

"Have you decided where you're going for your anniversary trip?"

"We're going to the Bahamas this time. We all agreed on it."

"That sounds amazing!"

"Are you planning on any other trips this year?"

"We're going to Disney World around Christmas time and Missy and her family are going then too. That works out great."

"Hank and I want to take these two to Disneyland this time, so maybe for their birthdays this year. We haven't decided if it'll be the whole family again or just the 4 of us."

"That makes sense. You'd be able to see Amaro when you're out there."

"That's another reason we wanted to go to LA. He was in Chicago not that long ago."

"That's what Fin said."

"We finally decided it was time to come out and meet Billie. We're meeting Don, Eileen and Munch for dinner tonight. We had lunch with Amanda and the girls. She said they are planning to come out this summer sometime."

"How'd your dinner go last night?"

"Pretty good, actually."

"Dickie's grandma seems nice. Dickie was off one day and brought her and the boys to meet Jenna for lunch."

"I heard she and Ed hit it off."

"Yeah, they did."

"She and Hank seemed to hit it off too. She told me she always thought I was too good for Elliot and so was Kathy."

"I was not impressed by Elliot Stabler when I met him and I could also see why Ed didn't like him."

"Fin was never a fan of Elliot's either. He asked for a transfer once but Cragen never approved it. You didn't like Hank at first either."

"Not at first but it was quite obvious that you two both had feelings for each other. No one liked Ed."

"I know but he did become an unexpected ally with Noah's adoption. He's not the man he once was. It was quite obvious that Elliot hadn't changed at all. Dickie said Kathy found proof that he was planning to take Olivia and he said he had gone through Elliot's computer and he thinks Elliot may have been trying to forge divorce papers to send to Hank. Trust me, there is absolutely nothing that would break us up unless one of us cheated. I know I'd never cheat on him."

"I'd never cheat on you either."

"That was probably all part of his plan to get me away from my abusive asshole cop husband. Little did he know is that Hank and I have an unbreakable bond. This has actually brought us closer."

"Was he always that full of himself?"

"Basically. Everything was always about him and he always had to have his way with everything. You could be full of yourself as well but you've always been there for me. Besides my squad, you were one of the few people who knew what I had been through with William Lewis. Since I've been with Hank, my nightmares about Lewis have subsided drastically. The last one I had was the night before we left on our honeymoon. I started thinking about it after what had happened to Lisa but I never had a nightmare about it."

"That's good though."

"It is."

"Why would Stabler think you would have left your husband for him?"

"I have no idea. I loved him because he was my partner and we worked so closely together for the amount of time we did but I never loved him in a romantic sense, just like everyone else I have worked with. I also respected Kathy and the kids way too much and I still do. Ever since he came back into my life over a year ago, he has wanted to break up my marriage. When Hank and I first met, I compared him to Elliot because they do have similar personalities but at least Hank doesn't make everything about himself and he doesn't have the ego Elliot does."

"Dickie is a good kid."

"He is. He is definitely nothing like his father."

"That's for sure."

"He stood up to his father and his father slaps him."

"I never would have done that to Justin even though he could be such a smart ass at times."

"Justin is the first to admit that he would have deserved it if you had."

"You and Olive have been good for our relationship. Justin and I have gotten closer in the two years that I've been with you. I've been closer with Jay lately too."

"He even admits that he is closer to you than he is to his own dad and Will was such a big help getting you to therapy and all that."

"Yep."

"You and Trevor have both seen a change in Ed, since he's been with Maggie and how he is with Dickie. He really tried with Elliot as well especially since their kids are married. Elliot acted like it was the end of the world that his son is married to a Tucker. Like his kids have said, it's their choice who they're with. Lizzie said her father probably had a few things to say about her husband being a nurse."

"There's nothing wrong with a guy being a nurse."

"There's not. Jenna technically ranks higher than Dickie, since she's a Detective and he's an Officer but that obviously doesn't bother Dickie."

"I asked Jenna once if that bothered him and she said no."

"It never bothered Hank either and now we're the same rank again."

"The rank thing never bothered me."

"I know it didn't. Elliot seemed to think that if he had stuck around, he would have been in charge of SVU and Cragen said that wouldn't have happened. Fin would have quit and I probably would too."

"I'm sure Internal Affairs would have had something to say about that."

"Ed was the one that told me that Nick would have been overlooked for a promotion and Elliot would have too. Ed told Lieutenant Bradley to contact Lieutenant Davis about Elliot's IAB file and Lieutenant Bradley said Elliot's file was thicker than Hank's. While the higher ups don't care for the way Hank handles things, they know he means well and he gets the job done. Commander Crowley even said she has seen a difference in Hank since we've been together. I can see why they looked into the charges Elliot was filing against Hank but Elliot was not in the right frame of mind. Dr. Charles even confirmed that. I talked to Dr. Charles after what had happened with Elliot in the first place and Hank had to talk to him after he was shot this last time."

Mike and Bill had come into the restaurant and passed them on the way to their table.

"Hey, Liv."

"Hey, Mike. Bill."

"Olivia. It's good to see you."

"You too."

"What brings you to New York?"

"We actually decided it was time to meet the newest Carisi."

"She's a cutie."

"Yes, she is. We had lunch with Amanda yesterday after the squad had gotten a call. How are things at Joint Terrorism?"

"Stressful. I'm a Lieutenant now."

"Congratulations!"

"Thanks. This little one gets cuter every time I see her."

"Hank and I went to Paris for Valentine's Day and we ran into these two when we were there. Anyway, when we got back, our children told us that she threw a temper tantrum the day before we got back and ended up redecorating her bedroom. She colored on the walls and carpeting with crayon. Her big brother Justin realized she wasn't feeling well and was getting some new teeth in. Trevor and Lisa's girls did something similar."

"Whoops!"

"Exactly."

The food arrived.

"We should let you eat. It was good to see you."

"You too."

Mike and his dad left and then everyone ate.

"So, Kevin, how's your friend?"

"She's doing much better."

"Good. Have you started looking for new Detectives yet?"

"Chief Dodds gave me a list of people interested. I just want whoever to have a good rapport with the rest of us."

"That is always important. I feel bad that Jenna is leaving you for my unit."

"Don't. I get that Dickie wants to be closer to his sister. I'm sure my entire unit would to transfer to Chicago if they could, including me. It's not that they don't get along with me. It's Chief Dodds that no one wants to deal with."

"I can understand that. He's fine outside of work but he's the one that said I'd regret leaving New York for Chicago. I still haven't. Your parents are moving to New York, right?"

"They do want to be closer to the kids."

"Have Ed and Maggie had any offers on their place here?"

"Actually, my parents made an offer and they offered more than what they were asking. They really loved the location. It sounded like they were going to accept it."

"So, Kevin, you're ok with them leaving?"

"Yeah. It gives me an excuse to visit Chicago more often. Honestly though, I think this change will be good for Grandma Maggie. They seem to be in Chicago more than they're here lately anyway."

"True."

They finished breakfast and then everyone left. Hank and Olivia went back to the hotel, so the kids could have their nap. Once the kids were awake, they went down to the pool and had lunch. After lunch, they went back to the pool for a while and then they got ready to meet Don, Eileen and John for dinner. Munch was there first.

"Hey, you 4."

"Hey, John."

"Hi Uncle Munch."

"Munch!"

"Hey, Munch."

"How is everything?"

"I'm doing pretty good. I'm still hobbling around though."

John hugged Olivia and the kids and shook Hank's hand. Then Don and Eileen arrived.

"Grampa!"

"Gampy!"

"Hey, you two. How's my girl?"

"I'm ok."

"You sure? It's ok if you're not, you know."

"Yeah, I know. Hank and the kids have been so supportive and that's why I love them as much as I do. Everyone else has been great too."

They went inside and were taken to their table. Then they had their order taken.

"How was Paris?"

"It was absolutely amazing! We ran into Rafael and Michelle."

"Wow! I heard the Tuckers are moving to Chicago."

"They are. They put a bid on a house not too far from us. Dickie wanted to be closer to Lizzie. We had dinner with Dickie, Jenna, the boys and Bernadette last night. She's not sure she wants to be in New York by herself in case something happens. Before she told him that, he told us that Kathleen was supposed to come here every other weekend to check on her, since she'll now be the closest. He texted his sisters about that."

Olivia ended up telling Don and Eileen everything that had happened, including what they had found in Elliot's apartment.

"He didn't know when to quit, did he?"

"No, he did not. He couldn't allow me to be happy and he had become too obsessed with me. Ever since he came back into my life over a year ago, all he cared about was wrecking my marriage. He also didn't like the fact that I had become friends with Ed. Ed is not the man he used to be even before he got married. Ed has tried with him because of their kids but Elliot acted like it was the end of the world that his son was married to a Tucker."

"It is quite obvious that Tucker is not the same person he used to be."

"I cared about Elliot and you know I did but not romantically. I never felt that way about him. Even if I was single and Kathy was deceased, I wouldn't want him. Too much ego for me. I'm not the same person I was when he left."

"No, you're not. I'm proud of who you've become."

"I am too, Liv."

"Thank you both."

Olivia ended up telling Don what happened with Lexie the day before they came back from Paris.

"There's never a dull moment, is there?"

"Nope. She's definitely Daddy's little girl though."

"Are you planning any family vacations this year?"

"We are. We decided on the Bahamas for our trip this year. We're thinking about taking these two to Disneyland for their birthdays this year. We haven't decided if we are including the rest of the family yet though. We can see Nick when we're out there and Maureen and her family are out there too."

"The Bahamas sounds like it would be a fun trip."

"We wanted to try something different."

"I'm leaning towards not including everyone else. They'll probably leave Nadia and Camille with us and we won't be able to go on anything."

"I don't blame you for feeling that way. We probably won't be able to go on much anyway unless we meet someone there and we go on a few things by ourselves."

"How are the new babies?"

"They're doing great."

Olivia showed Don and Eileen pictures of Nadia and Camille.

"Aw! They are precious."

"They are."

"Who gets up with them?"

"Their dads do. Both Erin and Olive go back to work on Monday. Amanda does too."

"Is your Nanny watching all the kids?"

"She is. Alyssa has been there even with Erin and Olive off. She takes the boys to Preschool on the days they go. This little Peanut will start Preschool in January."

"Has she started potty training yet?"

"We're working on that. Daniel does pretty good and is at the point where he wears Pull-Ups to bed now and not a diaper. He actually wears them all the time whereas the only time Noah wears a Pull-Up is to bed. Olive and Alyssa have been working with Lexie. She doesn't always remember to tell us when she has to go. Part of her bedtime routine is trying to get her to go before we put her diaper on. Sometimes she does and sometimes she doesn't want to."

"They're all different."

"That's true."

They continued talking and then their food arrived. After dinner and dessert, everyone left and headed wherever they were going. As soon as they got back to the hotel, Hank and Olivia got the kids ready for bed. They read them their story and then they went to bed. Olivia got ready for bed first and then she got into bed, while Hank got ready for bed. Once he was done, he joined Olivia and the kids. He kissed Olivia before they both fell asleep.

The next morning, they got up and got ready. They stayed at the hotel for breakfast and then checked out before they headed to the airport to return the vehicle. Once they did that, they went to check in, went through security and then they headed to the gate to wait for their flight to Chicago.
