"Just….a bit….more…"

Lailani stretched out awkwardly as she reached for the remote, her leg sweeping along the table. She poked her tongue out unconsciously as her toes brushed against the device, nudging it within range. With a small feeling of success she dragged it closer, walking her toes up the side until she could press the power button. She couldn't help but sigh with relief as the TV went dark. It'd only been for half an hour, but she could already feel the music from the scene selection screen ingrained in her memory. The silence was beautiful as she lay her head back, planning her next move. She'd enjoyed the movie, and the snuggling with Candace, but that'd left her trapped. After a long day of waiting for her girlfriend to come home, Candy had been a bit drowsy from the start. She'd made it through the whole film, practically bouncing on the couch and hugging Lailani when it got emotional, but as the credits rolled she'd let herself drift off. Unfortunately, she hadn't let Lailani escape before her nap, and the island girl knew from experience that anything that got grabbed while Candace was asleep, didn't get let go.

It wasn't that Lailani was uncomfortable even with her arms pinned by a rather tight bear hug. Her head rested on the rather soft and full pillow that was Candy's bosom, and even though her skirt had flipped up with the girl's fidgeting, it was a warm night. Looking up, all that Lailani could see was the floppy horn of Candy's unicorn onesie. She still found it a little strange that they were actually dating. When she'd first met Candace, she'd assumed the girl was just another one of Mrs Belrose's toys and hadn't paid the girl much mind. But after a few weeks and some coincidental shared lunch breaks, she'd come to know the exotic dancer was more than she seemed. She was one of the nicest and gentlest girls Lailani had ever met, and they'd quickly bonded over their shared love of cute things. Candace had even started teaching her to dance. Sure, she did some questionable things in the evenings, most of which Lailani found incredibly unpleasant, but she was still a sweet girl.

It hadn't been until the girl's friend Polly approached her that Lailani had realised how bad it had gotten. She didn't even know Nora was selling stuff like that, the maid was always so nice to her whenever they met at work. But the Latin woman had been more than willing to help get Candy clean. Between the three of them they'd gotten the airhead girl on the mostly straight and narrow. She was still stripping, much to Lailani's dismay, but it was strictly looking, no more touching. As she'd improved, she'd also grown closer to Lailani. All it took was some slight nudging from Polly and the pieces had fallen into place. Lailani helped keep the girl on the right track, and in return, Candace was always there for her. Just knowing she had someone to go home to made the receptionist's life a little brighter, she'd been on her own ever since her last breakup.

With a slight murmur, Candace rolled in her sleep, dragging Lailani over and pinning her to the back of the couch. With a little bit of struggling the smaller girl was able to turn herself over, trading a facefull of cushion for a facefull of Candy. Everyone always said how pretty she was, but they never got to see the girl from as close as Lailani did. Candace wasn't just pretty, she was stunning. The freckles on her cheeks gave her skin a youthful cheeriness, her long eyelashes made her eyes stand out even when they were closed, her lips were almost permanently curled with idle joy, lighting up the room whenever the girl actually smiled. Lailani was secretly glad her girlfriend wasn't the brightest. If Candace understood half of the things people had done to her, then she'd probably never smile again. The island girl had made it her mission to keep the girl happy, and she felt like she'd done a pretty good job. A slight squeeze brought Lailani even closer to the dozing beauty. Without waking, Candace brought her girlfriend's head up to her face, giving a few sniffs. The dopey grin that spread across her face made Lailani's heart melt.

"...Mmmm…Lailani…."

It was another reminder of just how lucky Lailani was. Candace had an endless supply of affection to give, and somehow she'd chosen Lailani to receive it all. A bright blush rose in the polynesian's cheeks as she craned her neck up, planting the smallest kiss imaginable on the girl's happy lips. She was more than happy to be Candy's teddy bear any time she needed one. With a bit of wriggling, Lailani managed to get her dress up and over her head, tossing it over the arm of the sofa. There was no need for the pair of them to move, it was comfy enough in each other's arms. Sure that the girl was fast asleep, she let out a tiny whisper.

"I love you, Candy."
