"I'm sorry letters don't seem to make things better…" Kyoko sang into the mic, but Sho pulled it away.

"It's supposed to be a love song." He snarled.

"He said to sing what I feel." Kyoko countered gesturing to the music producer who gave her a charmed smile.

"The script calls for a love song." Sho hissed in her ear. She recoiled from the moist air feel as though he were slobbering all over her.

"Yes, but some people assume we're dating now." She grumbled.

He crossed his arms and asked, "What does that have to do with anything?"

She didn't want to say that any love song she had a hand in would be misconstrued to be about him. That would hurt his feelings and he would try to rile her up and somehow leak it to the media to get her in trouble. His fans would run her out of the industry.

"Here I'll sing a love song as an example. Then you can work on yours." Sho offered wanting to seem helpful. He had to remember not to pick on her if he had any hope of stealing her back from Tsuruga.

"K!" Kyoko said feigning cheeriness.

Smirking at her eagerness he began to sing. "This is my love song to you."

She did her best to swallow the bile and smile as though she were in love with him.

"Let every woman know I'm yours, so you can fall asleep each night, babe." She bit her tongue forcing her eyes to flutter and her cheeks to flush by thinking of Kuon. "And know I'm dreaming of you more." He sang the line while winking at her.

She swooned and his heart fluttered. He didn't notice that her eyes were glazed over, and she wasn't hearing the lyrics at all. This was all part of his plan to get her back. He would to her like he used to, and she would fall back in love with him. Then he could rub it in Tsuruga's face and have the top actress.

"I'll never stop trying. I'll never stop watching as you leave. I'll never stop losing my breath. Every time I see you looking back at me." he finished singing and the producer applauded.

"That sounded amazing. It doesn't really fit Oh! Darling though, does it? It's too sweet. We need to find that balance of dark edge and bittersweet tragedy." The producer said.

"We will producer-san. Because Sho-chan is amazing!" Kyoko said beaming at the older gentleman who blushed and scratched his head. He completely understood why Fuwa was infatuated with her.

Behind her Yashiro cleared his throat catching their attention.

"Oh, I'm sorry. You need to get going, don't you?" The producer said with a bow.

"Yes, I'm afraid I have to leave now, or Yashiro-san will be late to pick up Tsuruga-san. Then we'll both need to get lunch before I get dropping off at my next location and he is taken to next job." Kyoko said.

"You could stay here." Sho said. "My bodyguard or Shoko-san could drop you off. We could have lunch together."

Kyoko paused afraid that since the producer was in the room, she would have to agree to it. Ever the dutiful manager however Yashiro stepped forward and gently took Kyoko's bag.

"I'm afraid I cannot allow Kyoko-chan out of my sight until I have delivered her to her next job. She is very important to LME, and I must take care to deliver her safely to all her jobs." He said motioning for Kyoko to head out.

She bowed to Sho and the producer saying, "I'll see you later on set."

"Yeah, it should be fun. Tonight, we shoot the big scene where you catch Tsuruga cheating. That Momose-san is sure cute, and he's played her lover before. I hope he doesn't stray from poor Kana-san." Sho said irked that she was leaving so early.

"He won't." Was Kyoko's quick reply and not what Sho had been hoping to hear. "He isn't the kind of man to think of other women when he's already in love. The two of you are very different. See you later Sho-chan!"

"What would you know about what that man thinks about?" Sho snarled wondering, and not for the first time, how much she had done with Tsuruga.

"He's, my friend." Kyoko said with a shrug then turned politely to the puzzled producer and bowed. "Thank you for all your help. I look forward to working with you again."

Sho ground his teeth together not liking the way she had said friend. The word held a deep fondness. It was said in the way that someone would say lover. If they had been alone, he would have dragged her to his bodyguard and shoved her in his car. There was no reason to let her be carted around by Tsuruga's manager anymore. She was his now and should be taken care of by his people.

"Have a fun time filming." He said with a strained smirk.

Kyoko stuck her tongue out at him behind the producers back as she ducked out of the room in a hurry to be as far from Sho as possible. Sho excused himself and followed her and Yashiro out to the hallway where he caught her meeting with Ren. They were in their own little world unaware that he had opened the door.

"Hi." Kyoko said sweetly.

"Hi." Tsuruga responded with a broad grin as he placed a hand on her back.

"Ren." Their manager said in a warning tone.

"I know. I know." Tsuruga said with a sigh dropping his hand.

Sho's jaw ached with the intensity of his clenching as he listened to them speak.

"I have to go on a date with that creature tomorrow." Kyoko grumbled.

Tsuruga chuckled and Yashiro snickered.

"It isn't funny. He's dragging me to some nightclub where celebrities hang out." She said with a pout.

"Yes, I know. Kijima and I will be there too with Momose-san and Kana-san." Tsuruga said sounding unconcerned about the whole thing.

Sho grit his teeth following them down the hall. It was like he wasn't the slightest bit afraid that he could lose her.

"Momose-san has no idea about us though. We won't be able to flirt or sneak off together." She said. What the hell Kyoko! Sneak off for what? Sho wanted to shout but he ducked behind a wall instead as the three stopped by the elevator.

"Kana-san is crafty, and she likes you, she'll find a way for us to disappear together. We might even be able to sneak off and go home without Fuwa realizing until it's too late." He said and Sho clenched his fists. Like hell they would. He would cuff her to himself before he let Tsuruga drag her off somewhere to do god only knows what. It was becoming clear to him that he would need to keep a closer eye on her to protect her from Tsuruga. That man would eat her alive and like an idiot she would probably offer herself up on a platter.

The elevator dinged and they got on. Brown eyes locked with Sho's and with a devilish glint Tsuruga bent down to kiss Kyoko before the doors closed.

"Ren." Yashiro scolded as Kyoko blushed.

"What was that for?" Kyoko asked.

"You're adorable." Kuon said but she narrowed her eyes sensing his deceit. "Sorry I'll behave. How was the song recording session?" He asked.

"We still don't have a song yet in order to record. The jerk doesn't like any of my lyrics." Kyoko answered

"I liked the really angry one. The one about him not being worth your revenge. It certainly suited how I feel about Satoshi-san, as an observer." Yashiro said not saying that it was also how he felt about Sho.

"The monster didn't like it. He said it has to be more romantic." Kyoko said.

Kuon snorted, "You can say his name."

"I did." Kyoko said. "Jerk is his name."

"The paparazzi in front of the club will love hearing that." Kuon said in a gently scolding tone.

"By then his name will be Fuwa-san." She replied but caught Yashiro's glare as they exited the elevator. "Sho... Sho-chan. Is that better?"

"No, not really but yes." Kuon said hating the way his name sounded on her lips. They walked to the car and Yashiro held the door for both of them. Once inside the car Kuon took her hand and kissed the back.

"We haven't even announced anything officially. I don't want to have to act close to him before it's absolutely necessary." She said resting her head on his shoulder.

"It is absolutely necessary." Yashiro said. "Unless the two of you are ready to go public. That would cause trouble for more than just you, but I will happily help you weather the storm."

"No." Kyoko said hanging her head. "But you can't expect me to act like I like him. Especially not when," she paused to peek at Kuon. "I don't want to be spanked that hard." She whispered just for Kuon to hear.

"What was that?" Yashiro asked.

"I would never do that just because you had to act. That's all it is, Kyoko, a job that you've taken on." He reassured her rubbing his thumb in her palm.

Yashiro narrowed his eyes and asked, "Never do what?"

"It's not something you'd want to hear about. Unless you want to tarnish the image of Kyoko you have in your head." Kuon said with a devilish grin.

"No thank you." the manager said as he pulled out of the parking space.

Kyoko and Kuon laughed like gleeful children and Yashiro shook his head at them. He wished they could stay like that all the time.

"What about a movie?" Kyoko asked as if she just realized something. "If we go to a movie then we could sit together, and nobody would know who we were next to."

"Yeah. What do you want to go see?" Kuon asked pulling his phone out.

"Anything. Oh, and we could have dinner at Kanae's. Then you and I could snuggle, and the jerk can go sit in a corner and sulk somewhere." Kyoko said suddenly looking forward to pretending to date Sho.

"Yes! Or we could rent a private room at a restaurant. Once we're inside the public will never know how many kisses I steal. And if my hands just so happen to slip under the table…" He trailed off caressing up her thigh.

"You keep your hands where I can see them mister!" Yashiro shouted his face beet red and his eyes large with panic.

"Keep your eyes on the road." Kuon said but removed his hand from her leg.

"Do you think it'll be dark in the nightclub?" Kyoko asked. She had never been to a club before and one that catered exclusively to celebrities had to be extra fancy.

"Probably." Kuon said grimly. "And there might be some people doing unsavory things in certain areas. It'll be best for you to stay close to me or Kana-san. We should probably keep an eye on Momose-san too and Kijima-san. There's no way of knowing what kind of mischief he'll get up to if we leave him alone. And you don't drink anything you didn't see being poured."

"I know not to drink things I didn't watch being poured." She said rolling her eyes at his protectiveness.

"They might have private rooms." Kuon said offhandedly but it piqued her interest. "I'll find out." He said kissing her smile.

"Ren." Yashiro berated.

"It's just a kiss." Kuon snapped exasperated.

"Ren, we are here. I'll go get some drinks. You two eat your lunch in the car, and I mean eat. I will give you these few moments alone." Yashiro said as he exited the car. He quickly popped his head back in catching them as they were about to kiss. "Eat! No messing around."

"Yes Yashiro-san," they said to him in unison.

He shut the door and they waited a moment Kuon peered out the window to see the manager walking away. Satisfied that they were alone in a car with tinted windows he sat back and pulled her into his lap.

"Ok, but we do need to eat." She said against his lips.

"Yes. Yes, I know." Kuon said even as his fingers were slipping into her hair. "Just five minutes of making out."

"Right." She said between kisses. "Five. Minutes."

Fifteen minutes later Yashiro returned to a prim and proper couple halfway through eating their lunch. He eyed them suspiciously bed handed them drinks.

"Kyoko-chan fix your shirt before you head in." Yashiro said grabbing his lunch from the passenger seat and closing the door. He really didn't want to be in the car with the two of them.

"Oh!" she gasped looking down to see that she had buttoned her blouse wrong.

Kuon shrugged when she fixed him with an accusing glare. She proceeded to unbutton her shirt and fix it while grumbling about what a playboy could do in only five minutes.
