Sho smirked as he caught Kyoko's gaze. She licked her lips seductively and he was transfixed by her wet pink tongue. She was nowhere as big as he preferred in the hips or bust but he had to admit that the curves of her body had filled out nicely. They were emphasized by the low-cut top and short pencil skirt she was wearing. He imagined that she had dressed to please him that morning. Who else would she wear such an alluring outfit for?

"Stop staring at me with that gross look on your face and stop trying to touch me." Kyoko said breaking his delusions. His smile fell and he opened his mouth to speak but she cut him off,

"We're here to film not for you to ogle me like a creep." She said setting down the lunch box she had been eating out of.

"I wasn't ogling you." Sho said taking a step closer to her. If she wanted to fight, then he would happily engage in a spat with her.

"You were staring at me with a dumbstruck look and your eyes were going up and down my body. It was a grotesque and vile look, and I would appreciate it if you would refrain from doing it."

"Your face is grotesque and vile." Sho said and Kyoko rolled her eyes. "Don't roll your eyes at me." He seized her arm wanting to show his dominance over her.

"Let go." She said earning worried looks from the crew members close by.

Sho squeezed his hand tighter glaring into her eyes. Some crew members stopped what they were doing and contemplated interrupting them. They didn't feel that it was their place to intervene, but they all liked Kyoko too much to watch her being abused. Though they couldn't be certain if that was what was going on.

"Ouch goddammit Kyoko!" Sho yelped releasing her hand and bouncing on one foot.

She smirked triumphantly not sorry in the least for kicking his shin. Sho took a seat in his chair and brought his leg up to rub it.

"What was that?" Yashiro asked walking back over to her with a fresh bottle of water. "I leave you for five seconds and he's already picking on you."

Kyoko threw one last glare at Sho and stuck her tongue out unable to fight the childish impulse before she thanked Yashiro for the water.

"Sho, try to behave yourself." Shoko said bringing Sho a bottle of water.

"Me? She's the one who kicked me! You're supposed to be on my side Shoko." Sho said glaring at his manager.

"I am on your side. Her fans were having a field day with that little tantrum you threw at the restaurant."

"Whatever my fans still outweigh hers and they correctly deduced that she was the problem. Her and my parents. All they wanted to talk about at that dinner was how great Tsuruga was. He's so sweet and he's so talented. Blah, blah, blah. He has my parents fooled with that act. The reality is he's just a rich pervert who pays her for sex." He grumbled as he looked over at Kyoko who was speaking animatedly to Yashiro. He rolled his eyes. "She's so dumb. I bet she believes that ogre loves her."

"Has it ever crossed your mind that maybe he does?" Shoko asked rubbing her temples.

"Don't be stupid Shoko. No one could ever love that soul sucking she devil." Sho said and Shoko sighed.

He was always flip flopping on what Kyoko was. First, she was a damsel who needed to be rescued from Tsuruga then she was the devil. Next, he would claim that she was too plain and boring to attract anyone's interest. Then take all the credit for her fame.

"I don't even know how she got here. She's so plain that I find it hard to believe that LME hired her. And she's so boring, that nobody would have ever cast her in any role if not for me. If it wasn't for me giving her that role in my PV, she would still be slinging burgers."

Shoko couldn't help but chuckle at how predictable he was, but Sho smiled smugly thinking that her laugh meant that she agreed with what he'd said. Proud of himself he threw a look at Kyoko, but she was still busy talking to Yashiro and not paying Sho any mind. His smile fell into a deep glare. He hoped she could feel his eyes boring into the back of her head. He willed her to turn and glare back at him.

It was an irritating feeling in her neck and shoulders. A prickly nagging sensation that would not go away. Kyoko took a deep breath and focused on what Yashiro was telling her. She laughed as he described how large Hikaru's eyes were when Kuon had hugged him. She wished she could have seen it. Kuon so rarely showed affection to anyone other than her and she felt robbed that she couldn't see it. She wanted to know what kind of face he had made as he hugged his friend, but he had been facing away from Yashiro. She wondered if Shinichi and Yuusei would describe it to her.

"I'm so happy that he's growing up into such a well-rounded young man." Yashiro swooned like a doting older brother. "The two of you have come so far."

"Kyoko-chan!" Director Anna called out to her.

"Yes." Kyoko said standing up and rushing over to him and Murasame.

"This is the scene where Sayuri-san seduces Haruki. I don't need it to be as steamy as your scenes with Tsuruga-san but try to make the chemistry believable." Director Anna said eyeing Murasame. "That means no practical jokes."

"I wasn't gonna do anything." Murasame said but as he spoke Kyoko's nose twitched at the scent of onions.

"I thought I saw you crunching on an onion." The director said with a sigh.

"I ate two whole onions and some garlic bread. Kyoko-chan likes Italian food." Murasame said a wide grin on his face.

"Wait what happened to the scene where Sayuri and Kenji have sex after Kenji covers for her killing her husband?" Sho asked jumping up ready to grab Kyoko and keep her from going to the stage to film with Murasame.

"We cut it." The assistant director said using his body to block Sho from Kyoko.

"What? Why the hell would you do that?" Sho shouted drawing everyone's attention.

"Because that is what I decided." Director Anna said. "It reeked of desperation on Kenji's part, and I felt he was already pathetic enough. Whining and pining over a married woman who clearly has no interest in him."

"I rehearsed that scene."

"I'm sure your hand is tired." Murasame said, "But that doesn't mean we are obligated to film it. It means you should have looked over the new script your manager gave you. I saw her hand it to you with my own eyes so don't even try blaming her either."

Sho's lip curled in a growl at Murasame.

"Fuwa-san we are about to start filming. You have two options; sit quietly or leave my set." The director said leaving no room for Sho to argue.

Sho took his seat his face stuck in a pinched expression. That scene would have been his chance to seduce Kyoko. He was certain that his kisses and staged groping would leave her wet and longing for the real thing. If she her manager to leave them alone in her dressing room, then that four eyed old man would have no choice but to disappear. Then Sho would give her a taste of what she had been missing being a prude all those years.

"Alright Kyoko-chan lets take it from the top." Director Anna said with a chuckle as Kyoko recoiled from Murasame. "Can we get a mint for Taira-san."

"No, she has to suffer." Murasame joked ruffling her hair.

"You're such a jerk. Be nice or I'll tell Koga-san."

"Go ahead he'll just be upset that he isn't playing my role. The chance to tease Tsuruga about kissing you later will be well worth having to actually kiss you."

"Hey!" Kyoko said feigning indignation. "It's not like I'm thrilled about kissing you either. It's like kissing a dog."

"I thought you liked dogs." Murasame said as he accepted a mint from his manager. "You're always going on about my puppy this and my puppy that. Puppy could you do this for me? Puppy can we go here?"

"Quiet." Kyoko shushed him and shoved another mint into his mouth.

"Stop playing around you two." Director Anna said slapping his script against his palm.

Sho clenched his jaw watching Kyoko flirt on stage. He grumbled that she really was a slut and wondered why he hadn't reaped the benefits of her true nature. She was right in front of him now with her mouth suctioned to Murasame's mouth and her leg lifted to wrap around his thigh. It sickened Sho to see her act this way.

"First Tsuruga and now Murasame or whatever his name is." Sho grumbled as Kyoko shoved Murasame down on the bed.

"Cut!" the director called, and the crew rushed over to check the actors make up. "That was good, but can I get a take with you pushing him more roughly?"

"Yes!" Kyoko said jumping up from the bed and smoothing out her clothes.

"She must have a lot of practice having sex." Sho said pulling out his phone. "I wonder just how many of his friends Tsuruga has loaned her out to."

He found his favorite fan site where they bashed Kyoko relentlessly and signed in under one of his accounts. Shoko grimaced as she read over his shoulder. He was posting all the false accusations he usually made about Kyoko. It gave him a sick thrill to read the replies of people agreeing with him that she must be sleeping around. She only got roles by doing 'favors' for much more successful men such as himself. She was a Kana wannabe who didn't have the body to be in porn. The men who she whored herself out to were too embarrassed to admit that they had touched her unattractive body. He went on and on typing out his vitriol and glowing as his fans responded with equal toxicity.

Once filming wrapped for the day Yashiro drove Kyoko to the studio where her and Sho would record another song. Sho had tried to insist on Kyoko riding with him and Shoko but there was no way in hell Yashiro was ever going to allow that. They arrived at the studio to find Sho pouting as the audio producer scolded him again.

"We are not changing the lyrics for a fourth time. There is absolutely no reason to do so. The song Kyoko-chan wrote is perfect."

"I am barely in the song." Sho growled.

"Yes, that's what makes it perfect." The audio producer said having had enough of the spoiled rock star. "Oh, Kyoko-chan welcome. Please have a seat. Is there anything we can get you before we get started?"

"You didn't offer me anything." Sho said. Posting on the fan sites had riled him up. he was ready to demand that everyone treat him like the prince he was. His fans could see it. They knew that he deserved all the praise and adoration. So why was everyone in the industry kowtowing to Kyoko?

"Kyoko-chan, water? Coffee? If you're hungry I could have my assistant get you something." The producer said motioning to Kyoko's seat. "Let me know if you need an extra pillow or anything." The assistant nodded eagerly.

Yashiro smirked. It was clear to him that they were sick of dealing with Shotaro and grateful for Kyoko's presence.

"Thank you for the offer but that won't be necessary. I would like to start recording as soon as possible. I don't want to take up anyone's time."

"With you singing this whole song is a waste of time." Sho said snidely.

"Please Kyoko-chan let's start." The audio producer said, and Kyoko nodded.

She entered the booth and pulled on the headphones. Once again Sho stewed in his anger as he watched Kyoko work. He was on another site complaining about how shrill her voice had sounded on the talk show.

"And how 'bout you just take some blame? I always take all the pain. You should just forget my name." Kyoko sang as she closed her eyes. "And I, ignore all the warning signs. Fall for you every time."

She recalled writing the lyrics in the car. Kuon was beside her caressing his fingers over her arm as she wrote in her notebook. She hummed and sang quietly when the radio played but every time Yashiro had tried to turn it down, she would go silent. Yashiro would chuckle as Kuon closed his eyes and listened to the pleasant cadence of her voice.

"Don't call me baby…" she sang in the car and in the studio. She remembered that she had turned to Kuon, and he had kissed her cheek. "Hey Kuon?"

"Yes, my love?"

"Why don't you call me baby?" she had asked.

"Because you're my princess. And my cuddle bear. And my little chipmunk." He emphasized each nickname with a kiss on her face. "And my kitten."

"You call Kana-san babe."

"Exactly. It's a generic moniker. Turtle girl is much cuter." He had said and his hand slid down to hers twining their fingers together. "I think that song is amazing. I hope it's not about me."

"Of course not! Why would you even think that? It's for Oh! Darling." She was ready to panic but saw that he had that familiar twinkle in his eyes. "Kuon don't make me panic like that."

"I'm sorry sweetheart. You know I can't help teasing you."

Back in the studio the producer called cut and told her to sing the same verse again. She did as she was told and sang the song over and over until he was satisfied. Sho listened to her lyrics feigning interest as he felt the producer glancing at him from time to time. What Sho wanted to know was why Kyoko kept smiling as she sang. He wanted to know what she was thinking about and if it had to do with that pretty boy actor.

"Good. Good. Kyoko-chan you can come out now. Sho-san you're up." the producer said in a tone of voice that gave Sho chills down his spine.

"Kyoko-chan, you were amazing. There's a phone call for you." Yashiro said as she exited the booth.

Happily, she took her phone and excused herself bowing to Yashiro, the producer, and Shoko, but rolling her eyes at Sho before leaving. Sho sneered at her ready to follow her and demand to know who she was speaking to.

"Fuwa-san where do you think you're going?" the producer asked.

"Uh, nowhere." Sho said but the producer fixed Sho with a glare, and he adjusted his statement. "To the booth to record. I just need to use the restroom really quick."

"Fuwa, spying makes you look desperate." Yashiro said not believing for one minute that Sho had to use the bathroom.

"You can't keep my charge from going to the bathroom that's inhumane." Shoko said deciding to help him out for once.

"Fine go." The producer said with a dismissive wave.

Once Sho was gone the assistant turned to Yashiro to say, "I have a daughter who had a very jealous boyfriend once. I hope your girl gets out before it gets too serious."

Yashiro nodded, "Rest assured if he hurts her, I'll take care of it."

In the hall Kyoko put the phone to her ear and said hello.

"Kyoko dear," the distinctly feminine voice said, and Kyoko tried not to let her face fall.

Of course, it wouldn't be Kuon. It was midnight in California, and he would have jet lag. Julie was in Paris for a fashion show however and would be wide awake.

"Hello mother."

Sho froze and hid behind the corner. Why would Kyoko look like that while talking to her mother?

"Yes, I'm doing very well and how are you?"

"Oh, that's good. Really! No, you shouldn't have!"

Sho scrunched his brow. Kyoko looked happy. She sounded excited about something and Sho wanted to know what.

"He'll love that. Yes, I can't wait to visit you and dad. I've already packed."

"Dad?" Sho shouted giving away his position.

Kyoko rolled her eyes with a sigh and turned to glare at him.

"No, it's just a cockroach. Yes, that one. No, mother you can't do that. It's a terrible waste of your family connections and I know you don't want to talk to them anyway. I'll be fine. I'll be even better once I'm on a plane to see you."

"Why are you going on a plane? Where are you going? As your boyfriend I demand to know where and when you'll be going somewhere." Sho tried to snatch the phone, but she switched it to her other ear and swatted his hand away. "Who are you speaking to?"

"No, mom I'm fine. Yashiro-san is here. You enjoy your show and seriously you shouldn't buy me anymore clothes. I already have a closet full of designer outfits I'll never wear." She said then her face melted into a scarlet puddle. "Yes, how do you know that. Never mind, don't answer that. No, I said don't answer. I don't need to know that you dress up too. Mom, stop!"

"Who are you on the phone with?" Sho demanded to know.

"No, it's fine. I should get back to work anyway. Yes, I'll talk to you later. I love you too." Kyoko hung up the phone and shot a glare at Sho before turning on her heel to head back.

"Who was that?"

"My mom." She replied still walking away from him.

"Bullshit your mom doesn't love you." he said catching her arm.

"Thanks, Shotaro that is so nice to hear."

"You know what I mean." He said sincerely concerned but unable to show her that. "Seana is a bitch."

"It wasn't Seana." She said yanking her arm away.

"You just said it was your mom." He said confused.

"In the same sense that Yayoi-san is like my mom. She is an older woman who cares about my well-being, and she calls to check in on me sometimes." She explained then added, "Only her son isn't a complete asshole."

"Her son." Sho said lip curling. "That was his mom, wasn't it?" he asked, and Kyoko shrugged.

"Kyoko-chan come back in here please." Yashiro said stepping out into the hallway.

"Yes." She replied enthusiastically bounding over to her manager. Yashiro ushered her in with a hand on her shoulder and a backwards glare at Sho.

"You know I've been thinking about this song." Sho said as he entered the room.

The producer sighed preparing to placate the self-important rockstar once again. Shotaro was never satisfied, and they had already had to rewrite the songs several times with the singer claiming he couldn't give anything less than perfect to his fans. Really, he just couldn't stand that Kyoko was just as good if not better at writing songs as him.

"Sho-chan if you don't hurry up, we'll miss our movie." Kyoko said in a cute flirtatious way. Sho's heart skipped as she gave him a submissive pout.

Kyoko felt vile and dirty as Sho winked at her and entered the booth. Sho sat down and began singing but he changed the lyrics.

"Walking out the door wondering what it is that's going on with you. Thinking of a way to say sorry for something I'm not sure I do…"

"Fuwa-san, please sing the correct song." The producer said causing Sho to snarl.

Kyoko knew why he didn't like the song. She even thought it was a little bit cruel that they had chosen this song and were making him sing the part Kuon had helped write. Granted she didn't have to tell Sho that Kuon had helped but she couldn't help herself.

"Yeah, I love it when you hate me, wish you could erase me." Sho sang with a growl.

He could just hear Tsuruga and Kyoko bouncing lyrics off each other.

"I been so depressed, I don't think anyone could save me. Look at what you did, girl, look at how you changed me."

Were the lyrics about him? Did they have something to do with their current situation?
"Funny how you twistin' up the truth and then you blame me."

Maybe the lyrics had nothing to do with anything. Maybe it was just a song for the drama and Sho was reading too much into it.
"Runnin' out of fucks that I could give to you."

Or maybe Tsuruga was finally starting to crack. Sho smirked and Kyoko shivered as his lecherous eyes landed on her. Yashiro patted her arm and threw Sho a death glare.

When they finished recording the producer thanked Kyoko and Yashiro for being professional. They left with Sho following on their heels determined to catch up and hold Kyoko's hand. She sidestepped him every time he reached her, and Yashiro would switch places with her. Sho was confused, she had flirted with him earlier. Maybe she couldn't relax with Tsuruga's manager watching her.

"Do we really need the babysitter with us all the time?" Sho asked expecting Kyoko to want to get away from her warden.

"Yes, I need him to keep you from trying anything inappropriate."

"Holding hands is not inappropriate you boring prude." Sho said annoyed that she wasn't batting her eyes and jumping at the chance to be alone with him.

"What movie are we seeing?" Yashiro asked Kyoko making it clear that Sho's input was unnecessary.

"The Light. It's supposed to be super scary and gruesome. At least that's what Shinichi-san said when he asked if we could see it." Sho's jaw dropped as Kyoko spoke. Not only was the manager coming but she had invited her phony wannabe musician brothers! "Yuusei-san said that Shinichi-san is a big scaredy cat, yet he insists on watching horror and suspense thrillers all the time. Apparently, Hikaru-san has a crush on the lead actress too. So, it'll be fun to tease him about it."

"I don't get a say in what we see?" Sho asked jumping in front of them and walking backwards. "I am half of this relationship too. Yet all these other men seem to get to decide everything. How many guys exactly are you fucking behind my back?" the question was asked right as they reached the doors and there was a sea of paparazzi outside. If anyone of them heard the question the rumor mill would have fodder for months.

"Fuwa-san," Yashiro started but Sho waved him off.

"Whatever, I was joking. I know the only person she whores herself out to is Ren." Sho said too loudly.

Kyoko jumped forward and clamped her hands over his mouth. This was exactly the response he had been hoping for. He smirked behind her hands and wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug as he pushed the doors open and let himself fall back.

"Oh, sweetheart I love you too!" He said before leaning up and forcing his mouth over hers.

The cameras flashed all around them and voices begged for a statement. Yashiro swooped down and pulled Kyoko to her feet then ushered her swiftly to his car. He wished this studio had had an underground ramp or even a guarded exit. Sho had chosen this studio and now Yashiro knew why. Kyoko was fuming on the inside but on the outside, she was blushing with an appropriately shy smile on her face. Yashiro held the door for her and neither of them looked back to see what Sho was doing. They would hear all about his impromptu publicity stunt on every entertainment news show.

"He broke the contract again." Yashiro said with venom in his voice.

"I can't dump him. His fans will attack me in the streets. They'll show up to set and disrupt everyone's hard work to demand that I explain myself."

"He isn't supposed to touch you Kyoko-chan. It's against the contract. It also happens to be sexual assault. He can't do that." Yashiro said tightening his grip on the steering wheel until his knuckles turned white. "I can't believe I let him do that." He was ashamed and felt like he had failed to protect her.

"Please don't blame yourself Yashiro-san. I'm the one who lunged at him. I fell for his tricks again." Kyoko said hanging her head in shame.

"No, Kyoko-chan. The only person to blame is Fuwa-san." Yashiro said but his face was sullen as he saw the truth of the matter.

Fuwa Sho's fans would never accept a breakup coming from Kyoko. They had been naïve to think that putting, no unwanted physical contact, in the contract would deter him in the slightest.

In his small trailer on set Kuon paced back and forth. A tall sandy haired man sat on Kuon's couch, his brown eyes sparkling with amusement.

Tsuruga Ren was a patient man. Tsuruga Ren was a calm and polite gentleman. Tsuruga Ren does not berate his co-stars. Tsuruga Ren does his best to have a good relationship with everyone. Tsuruga Ren…

Kuon growled as he listed all of the reasons, he as Tsuruga Ren was not free to march up to his female co-star, Melissa and demand that she return Bo Peep. The pillow had been in his trailer before he reported to set to grab a bite to eat but had been gone when he returned. It had to be her. She had been desperately trying to flirt with him all week and when he had dodged her advances, she became petulant. She acted like such a spoiled child that he had been surprised to learn from their co-star that she was the same age as him. A couple months older even.

"Why not just sleep with her man?" his co-star asked.

"I have a girlfriend Benjamin." Kuon stated but his co-star only shrugged.

"Mel is hot."

"My girl is one hundred times sexier. Make that one billion and infinitely more likeable."

"So, you're whipped?" Benjamin asked filling in the crossword he had been working on.

"Happily, so." Kuon answered with a grin.

"Damn. You must be in love with this sexy woman. I bet she's gorgeous. Is she gorgeous?" Ben asked dreamy eyed.

"Yes. And she's all mine." Kuon said smiling as he thought about her.

"Alright, I'll help you get this sheepy pillow of yours. Maybe Mel will be understanding if I explain you're in love with your woman." Benjamin said rising up from the couch in Ren's trailer.

"I doubt it but thanks. I really don't want to talk to her myself."

"No problem. That's what friends are for." Benjamin said sauntering out of the dressing room.

Kuon sighed and slumped into his chair. He didn't know how much more of this he could take. It had never occurred to him that someone would stoop so low as to steal from his trailer. It was only seven in the morning and way too early to be dealing with Melissa. He was grateful that Benjamin had volunteered to deal with her.

A soft melody began to fill his trailer and a broad smile replaced his annoyed frown.

"Good evening my love." He said making sure his door was shut before answering the phone.

"Good morning my prince." Kyoko said blushing cutely through the phone screen. She was in her pajamas laying back on her futon at Kanae's apartment.

"You look so comfy. I wish I was there snuggled up with you." he said taking a seat on the couch in his trailer. "I just want to bury my nose in your hair and hug you close right now."

Kyoko beamed and said, "I miss you too. How is work?"

"Annoying." He said with a sigh but then corrected himself. "Filming is great and most of my costars are wonderful professionals."

"Uh oh, is Melissa-san still bothering you?" She asked wondering if she needed to go there dressed as Setsu and rough the other woman up a little.

"She just won't take, no, for an answer. I honestly want to ask production to cut all my scenes with her. Benjamin went to talk to her." Kuon said and Kyoko giggled at how much he sounded like a little kid.

"What did she do that has you so riled up this time?" Kyoko asked and Kuon pursed his lips. "You don't want to tell me. Is it that bad?"

"She stole Bo Peep." Kuon said.

As Kyoko's face formed a scowl and her aura darkened, Kuon's brightened, and he smiled adorningly at her.

"I'll curse her to the grave." Came her low menacing voice.

A peel of laughter dispersed her darkness as she stared at his amused face.

"You are just too cute." He said tilting his head to the side and staring into her eyes through the screen. "I miss you."

She bit her lip. "It won't be long before I come to see you. Then we can snuggle up together until you're sick of me."

"Then we'll be stuck in bed for at least the next million years."

"Well, we'll have to eat and shower eventually."

"I'll eat you in the shower."

"If that's what you want. It will be your birthday after all. You can do with my body as you please." She said timidly.

"It will please me just to have your body in my arms. For the first five hours I might just stare into your eyes and bask in your ethereal presence." He said in a velvety smooth voice that somehow made the words sound cool instead of sappy.

"Oh, Kuon." She said with a giggle.

"How was your date?" He asked and she rolled her eyes.

"We had to leave before the movie even started. I'm sure Yashiro-san can tell you all about that. It makes me too mad to think about." She replied. Then after thinking for a moment she added, "Apparently, Hikaru-san has a huge crush on the lead actress from the movie we never got to see, but Shinichi-san and Yuusei-san took turns teasing him in the car. He was so cute and shy about it. I promised though that if I ever meet her, I will introduce them."

"Me too. I will gladly support him turning his attentions elsewhere." Kuon said and Kyoko snorted. "Kyoko?"

"Kuon."

"I love you." Kuon said and she blushed.

"And I love you." she responded, and it was his turn to blush. "Have a good day."

"I will. You have a good night." He said not ready to hang up but knowing she needed to get some rest and he needed to get to set.

"I'll be dreaming of you." she said before they ended their call.

A/N: Sorry this took so long to put out I didn't like it so I wasn't going to post it, but that's nothing new. I never like anything I write so I decided to just post it. Thanks for waiting and I promise to get the next chapter out soon. The songs used were Love it When You Hate Me by Avril Lavigne and Stay by Safety Suit
