Aimiera - LOL. Guess Fangirls don't do enough research, huh? And Silver is always dedicated to Blue :) I'm not surprised if he has sister complex lol.
Mysteryreader6626 - Aw thank you for liking my story! If you have anymore questions, make sure to PM me ^0^
Author Note - Just to tell/remind you, this is an AU of course. There's no Pokémon in real life, and they live in Japan like the animes :) They're also speaking Japanese, so their English is horrible (or at least the less educated ones). Also...
Chapter Three — Bonding Time in Detention
"I refuse to do it," Platinum declared, folding her arms and returning the glare Lt. Surge was giving her.
After the two hours of detention passed, he suddenly came back and told everyone that they will be doing charity work to decorate a wedding after school for two hours for the next two months. To adjust to this, they weren't allowed to attend their Prodigy Program lessons, and were forced to practice in the morning rather than the afternoon.
Being the busy person Platinum is, she would deny it without hesitation. Truth is, she didn't really care about the detention she had received for being a part of the whole fiasco, especially since it was during school time. However, cutting into her own free time and lessons is something that pissed her off. The fact she didn't even do anything wrong and didn't retaliate by throwing food got her into this situation made her even more ticked off.
"YA CAN'T DENY IT! THAT'S THE PUNISHMENT THE PRINCIPAL CAME UP WITH!" Lt. Surge boomed, completely ignoring her opinion.
Platinum disgustedly wiped the spit off her face. "I wish to speak with the principal then. I was never involved in the 'food fight', as you commoners call it. I did speak with the girl, but I did not toss food onto her."
"GO COMPLAIN TO THE PRINCIPAL THEN!" Lt. Surge yelled in her face. "HE— I MEAN, SHE SHOULD BE BACK SOON! NOW, STOP WHINING AND GO SIT DOWN!"
Platinum gave him another cold glare before returning to her seat between Emerald and Diamond. Lt. Surge looked at the whole detention class before screaming at them again. "I HAVE TO GO TEACH MY OWN CLASSES! YOU MAGGOTS WILL REMAIN HERE UNTIL SEVENTH PERIOD. AFTER THE BELL RINGS, GO STRAIGHT TO EIGHTH!"
Without any details or explanation, the loud man left them once again, leaving behind an echo with the door he slammed.
The dramatic scene of him leaving was ruined by none other than Gold. "During his bathroom break, he probably had diarrhea. Maybe that's why he's so cranky," he joked, breaking the silence. Some people actually snickered or laughed at that joke, while others just thought he was an idiot, or sweat dropped.
"You're an idiot," Silver grumbled, giving him a look.
Gold shrugged his shoulders. "At least I still have an A average in all my classes!" he defended, though most of the room knew that was a lie.
From the corner of his eye, he noticed something sparkly enter his vision. The sparkly item was Crystal's earring. Scooting his desk next to hers obnoxiously, he leaned over to her and greeted her, "Yo, wassup!"
Crystal looked up from her book to seat his desk shoved onto hers, bothered. Just seeing how he reacted during the whole mess and the comments he kept making in the room made her know he's the irresponsible and troublesome type. Just knowing that made her want to avoid him at all cost.
"Get away from me," she told him.
Instead of obeying her, he plopped his elbow on the desk and rested his chin on his palm casually. "Did you just use attract? Because you're attracting me."
She rolled her eyes and didn't answer his advances.
"Ah, hard to get, huh? Well, you're interesting. My name's Gold," Gold introduced himself, putting a hand out.
She ignored the hand. "Crystal. Now, get away from me. You're disturbing my book."
"Hard to get, I like it," Gold mused. "I like a challenge."
Crystal scoffed. What the heck is wrong with this dude?
Luckily for her, Gold was called over by Red across the room, so the conversation ended shortly. Beside Crystal, her twin sister, Soul furiously typed aggressively on her DS that she used to load the game. Her cheap phone doesn't get WiFi in the room and it's on low battery, so she resorted to this.

Give me back my money, you big meanie.
"... And send," she narrated, sending the message.
Soul partially wondered if the person behind his screen was an old man living in his mother's basement or a teen at school now. The other part of her couldn't care less who it was. All she wanted to do was get her money back.
Just to annoy him, she kept on spamming him. Hopefully he's a high school student in class right now. With the teachers hearing all the notification sounds he's receiving, he would probably get his phone taken up, which in return meant that he had to pay money to get back. Real life money.
Somewhere else in the room...
Silver's phone kept vibrating in his back pocket. He took it out and checked it, seeing the messages about the game he received. Being the person he is, he didn't care and ignored all the messages.
"Get yer hands off of me!"
Sapphire swatted Ruby's hands away, irritated by his presence. Being the perfectionist he was with appearance, Ruby just had to comb her hair, which was the home of tangles despite the outside eye. And being the person Sapphire is, she doesn't like it because she knew it would hurt, which in her defense, it did.
"Then comb your own hair," Ruby insisted, shoving the comb towards her once more. Sapphire grabbed it and tried to shove back at him.
"I'm good," Sapphire rejected his offer.
"No, take it."
"No, it's fine."
"Just take it."
"I don't want it."
"I said, take it!"
"And I said, I don't want it!"
"WOULD YOU SHUT YER FLIRTIN' UP?!" Emerald shouted at the two, stopping their argument. It's been going on for the last five minutes, and it's getting tiring now.
"WE AREN'T/AIN'T FLIRTING!" they yelled back at him, making him roll his eyes.
"You guys are like an old married couple..." Emerald muttered as he rubbed his temples for comfort.
Luckily, Sapphire was too busy shoving the comb back at Ruby to hear his statement. If she did, she'd probably grab the closest heaviest thing, and crush his humble and tiny body with it even if they were complete strangers.
"—That's not it!" Pearl smacked Diamond with his paper fan, finishing their comedy act. Diamond made a silly face as he got hit, reacting to it.
"Doesn't that hurt?" Platinum questioned the two curiously, making them stop their act and turn to her.
She was watching their act because she never saw this type of comedy, and it peaked her interest. Plus, she had nothing to do and it caught her eye.
"Nope, it doesn't at all," Pearl replied while at the same time, Diamond said, "Yeah it kinda does."
"Anyways," Diamond changed the subject. "I'm Dia and this is my best friend, Pearl. We're in the first year. What's yours?"
Earlier, she was kind of unapproachable, but since she started the conversation, he thought it'd be best to be acquainted with her. Not to mention, he thought she was really pretty when he first saw her. Something in him felt like she had a good aura surrounding her, so he wanted to take the chance to befriend her.
"I shall not tell my name to commoners such yourselves," Platinum refused, earning a look from Pearl. "But I will inform you that I am in the first year."
"Mm... since we don't know your name, why don't we give you a nickname so we can know how to address you?" Diamond suggested cheerfully.
Pearl yanked Diamond's collar and dragged it towards him. He whispered in his ear, "Dia! Do you really want to address this... female by a nickname when she wouldn't even give us her real name?" He was not having it with the disrespect they've been receiving from her.
Diamond shrugged in reply. "She seems like a nice person, so why not?"
Pearl slapped his forehead. There was no use changing his mind.
"—And then, the monster saved the princess, and they got married at the end!" Blue finished telling an anime to Yellow and Soul, who she had just made friends with.
Soul's eyes turned sparkly, completely absorbed into the story. She clapped her hands together, "Wow! That reminds me of Beauty and the Beast! So romantic~! Don't ya think so too, Crys?"
Crystal had finally finished her book and she placed it aside. Even though she was reading, she could hear the surrounding sounds. "I guess," she replied in an indifferent tone.
"Booboo!" Soul made a sound like Crystal got a question wrong on a game show. "What's with that answer?"
"The story isn't exactly like Beauty and the Beast because there was a prince, and it wasn't the beast. Plus the girl was a princess, and Belle wasn't. There's a huge difference," Crystal pointed out.
Before Soul can argue with her, Blue interrupted. "And there Crystal goes again with her awesome logic powers!" Blue commented like a game show host. "So—!"
"Ah, hey! Give me that! Give me that!" The four girls snapped their heads to the direction of Ruby's shouting. Sapphire was holding Ruby's knitting sticks, while getting chased by him around the classroom.
"No way Prissy Boy! You combed my hair, and you're going ta pay by losing somethin'!" Sapphire yelled back.
When she was looking back at Ruby, she didn't watch where she was going and she accidentally bumped into someone, making the sticks go airborne. With skill, Ruby easily caught the sticks and sighed in relief.
"Ow!" Sapphire exclaimed as she bounced off the person and fell on her butt.
"Sorry Sapph, you okay?"
She looked up to see the person she admires standing in front of her with his hand out with Pearl off to his side. Grabbing his hand, she hoisted herself up.
"Yeah! Sorry Red and Pearl!" Sapphire apologized, smiling sheepishly. "I wasn't payin' attention!"
"It's fine, but watch out next time!" Pearl scolded, letting it go.
"Yeah, be careful, Sapph!" Red warned her nicely.
"I think it's fine," Diamond said, popping up beside him. He looked at Ruby. "Want a cookie?"
"Er, no," Ruby rejected, pushing it away.
DING! DONG!
The bell rang throughout the classroom, signaling the transition to next period and the end of detention. Three long hours finally passed, and surprisingly, everyone became acquainted with each other.
School just ended, and Diamond ran through the hallways as fast as his slow legs could take him. He was going home with Pearl earlier, but he forgot something in the classroom. He knew he would get scolded by Pearl for being slow, so he ran through the halls as fast as he could, which was pretty slow. He finally reached their classroom, breathing heavily upon entering. When he walked in, he noticed a familiar blue-haired girl already in the classroom.
Platinum turned her head towards the sound of the door. Her cobalt eyes landed on the gluttonous boy, who stood at the doorway. She recognized him from the detention classroom earlier.
"What are you doing here?" Platinum inquired.
Diamond waved at her cheerfully and walked over to his desk to retrieve a book. "I forgot something! You have Ms. Clair too?"
"No," she replied. "I am here because— never mind. I do not need to inform commoners because they demanded to do so."
Diamond sweat dropped when he heard the 'demanded' part, but he still kept his warm smile. This actually caught her off guard because usually people would've attacked her by now for being rude.
"I see. I'm sorry Missy for asking you!" Diamond responded, not really caring about it. "I'll see you later! I have to meet Pearl or he'll yell at me." With that, he said his goodbyes and ran out the room, closing the door behind him gently.
Platinum continued to stare at the door. I am never going to make friends at this school, she thought, letting out a sigh. I'll just apologize to him for being rude tomorrow.
Green glanced at the bleachers, noticing someone moving in the background of his view. It was Yellow sitting there and drawing on her sketchbook with a smile on her face.
"Green!"
He snapped his head to the left when his name was called, only to see a football flying towards him. He received it with one hand effortlessly, then looked at the direction it came from. He noticed a brown-haired boy at the other side of the field, waving his arms. Green hurled it towards the junior at an even faster speed than which it came from, and he saw the junior barely catch it.
"Don't you think you should go easy on him? He's the newbie that started a few weeks ago." Green spun around to see Red in a happy go-lucky mood as usual.
"You're too soft, Red. They need to be trained harder, so they can prepare for the tougher stuff. You can't go 'easy' on them," Green chastised.
Red laughed at his best friend's opinion. "I guess I can never change you," he replied playfully, smiling sheepishly.
"Hey, Green, Red!"
The two turn their attention to the golden-eyed boy who was running towards them while waving his arms.
"What's up, Gold?" Red greeted, giving him a small wave.
Before Gold can greet the two back, Green interrupted their conversation. "Yellow is here to pick you up, Gold."
Gold looked surprised, cocking his head. "Huh? Seriously?" He moved his head, searching left and right for his cousin. "Where?"
Green directed him to the bleachers by pointing in the direction, and Gold followed.
"Oh shoot. I totally forgot to tell Yells the time!" Gold exclaimed as he started running towards the bleachers. "I'll see you guys later!"
The eager boy already sprinted off in the direction of Yellow before the two can say their goodbyes to him. Red chuckled a bit at Gold's energy, finding it refreshing.
He turned to his friend. "Hey, by the way, will you be going to the tournament tonight?"
Green gave him a cocky look. "What do you think? I'm planning to keep my status."
Seeing his cocky look, Red grinned, finding the challenge amusing.
"Booyah!" Red cheered into the headset he wore as he pumped his fist up unconsciously. "I became the champion of the world!"
Red started playing Pokérune right after he got off football practice instead of stopping by to get food because today was the Pokémon tournament, where your character battle against other people only and earn the prize to gain access to champion level. That status gives players unlimited access to lots of events. People get a chance to be champion once a year, and the tournament is usually sometime around September.
[Actually, the champion of the Pokérune mini game.] LeafGreen corrected.
He was a bit bitter that he had lost his champion status to Red. If it wasn't for the fact that the scizor got paralyzed from the previous fight, he would've won.
"Still the champion!" Red pointed out as he sat in his chair again after finishing his victory dance. "Sorry Green, try harder next year."
[I'm so going to get you next year.] Green warned him.
Red laughed at his rival's competitiveness. "Hey, you want to go to the S.S. Anne together?" he asked, changing the subject.
The S.S. Anne was a battleship area, and you usually need to buy membership to be on board or pay a lot of money, which most people barely have. Thanks to the champion level status, Red was able to access it free. When Green held the status, he would bring him because you're allowed to bring a battle partner.
[I don't feel like going on a honey moon with you, but I will take that offer.] Green answered.
Red was about to reply to him, but he heard a deeper and more manly voice in the background from Green's mic.
[Green! Come and do the dishes already!]
"So who was that?" Red inquired, not knowing who was it due to the voice modifier.
[Daisy.]
Red snickered, thinking about the sweet Daisy having a voice like that. [I have to go, we'll go on the ship later.]
"Gotcha!"
Now here are the game notes so you can understand Pokérune better. POKERUNE CHARACTERS INFO:
The game contains something called, "Pokémon" which are the creatures to represent things or characters. In the beginning of the game, when people choose the Pokémon to represent them, and pick what kind of 'talent' (summoner, thief, etc.), they also have to create a mini human character where as people use, so they can use it for having allies (Like Red & Green for example). Also, in the main players screen (third person view), you can only see your Pokémon version.
Uh.. I think that's all about characters/avatar thing. Sorry if its confusing! But thanks again for reviewing, following, & favoriting! I know its confusing (like I just said before), so if you have any questions etc, PM or review, like usual.
Author's Note - Ugh. It's so hard to portray Green's & Red's relationship! I can never get it perfectly! Anyways, yeah. I added them in this chapter because they haven't really been a bigger part yet. So, I made more parts for them, yay! Emerald, Diamond, & Pearl are the same... I'll just write them in the next chapter oh well.
Anyways, since this chapter is VERY short, imma make the next one twice as long :D wonder how long that'll take, but oh well. It's winter break! Also, I will probably put more scenes of Soulsilvershipping since I think this chapter was lacking that. (Oldrival & Special too) If y'all want something else, just tell me cause it doesn't matter to me :D Okay I'm done! Sorry for my LONG author notes!
