Honeymoon

Harry stretched on the bed, luxuriating in the lack of need to get up for anything more urgent than his morning coffee. The only reason he was being driven from his bed at all was the lack of his new husband.

The sheets were still warm, which meant Draco hadn't been up for long, but Harry could hear the shower running, and it seemed too good of an opportunity to miss.

He left the hotel bedroom for the bathroom. It was steamed up, and Harry could hear Draco humming to himself beneath the spray of the shower. He slipped in behind him and pressed a kiss to his shoulder. Draco leant back against him, dropping his head back to rest on Harry's shoulder to accept a proper kiss.

"Good morning," Harry murmured, his hands sliding up Draco's wet chest.

"Hmm, it is now," Draco agreed.

Harry pressed his lips to Draco's in a passionate kiss, and encouraged him to turn around in his grip. The smile on Draco's face told Harry they were very much on the same page about what constituted a good morning.

The water was running cold before they made their way out of it.

Harry dried himself off and then wrapped the towel around his waist, tucking it in securely. He was glad they'd gotten a suite, rather than a room as he padded into the kitchen.

"Aguamenti," he muttered, pointing his wand at the coffee maker, before he dropped it absently on the kitchen side. Draco joined him a few moments later, a little more dressed than Harry.

He'd at least taken the time to put a pair of shorts on, and oddly enough, socks. Harry was about to ask why, when Draco slid the doors to the balcony open and stepped outside. Which answered the question of why he had socks on, because Draco hated having his feet on the bare floor outside and he'd forgotten to pack his slippers.

Harry joined him on the balcony, and Draco turned to look at him. He arched his eyebrow, and nodded to the kitchen. "Go put some shorts on at least," he said, a possessive look in his eyes that made Harry flush with fresh arousal. "Seeing you like that isn't for anyone else."

"You have nothing to worry about," Harry replied softly, draping himself over Draco's back. "All I want is you."

"All I want is you too, but I'll also accept a you that is clothed if you're going to sit on the balcony with me," Draco retorted.

Harry laughed, a grin stretching his lips. He loved how possessive Draco was, he really did. It had been unexpected, and Harry had almost thought that it would ease off now they were married.

He found himself glad it hadn't.

"I'll be back in a sec," he said, squeezing Draco slightly before we went back inside, both to throw a pair of shorts on, and to get them both coffee.

"I meant it, you know?" Draco said, when he returned to the balcony with two cups of coffee.

"Hmm?"

"I only want you," Draco reiterated and the devotion in his eyes was so strong, it took Harry's breath away.. "I couldn't ask for another, not ever. You know that right?"

"Of course I do," Harry replied. He sat down and then pulled Draco into his lap with a soft tug. There was a moment of panic when the chair groaned beneath their combined weight, before Harry snorted and cast a wandless strengthening spell on it. "I've known that since you first told me you love me."

"Yeah?"

"Draco, you might be able to lie like a champ to most people, but you can't lie to me," Harry said. "You… enchant me every single day with the amount of love you're capable of giving me."

"That was cheesy," Draco pointed out, but there was a sappy grin on his face.

"Probably," Harry grinned, eyes sparkling. "But we're on our honeymoon, so I think we're allowed to be cheesy, right?"

"Honeymoon, hmm," Draco replied, and his grin settled to a genuine smile, as he finished off his coffee. "I don't think we've spent enough time in bed for a honeymoon, Potter."

"Then I suppose you better lead the way," Harry replied, a spark of challenge in his eyes. "And my name is Potter-Malfoy, now."

"Yes it is."

Draco tugged him towards the bedroom, but when they reached the door, Harry flipped the script and pushed Draco onto the royal blue sheets, before he crawled on after him. "You just lie there and relax. I'll take care of you."
