Stefan paid the man cash paying for his car in full. He knew that Bonnie said that she'll handle the transportation but he doesn't want to pin it all on her. He smiled as she kissed him then got in the passenger's seat and he in the driver's. He drove them to their almost completed home that he has yet to tell Damon about. Everything has just been going so well between them that he's scared that if he utters a word about moving out then all their progress will crumble. This was the relationship that he's always been wanting with his older brother and now that he has it, he can't ruin it. Not yet, not until he figures out a way to tell him and not have him hate him afterward.
When they get there he snuggles her in their bed and kisses her occasionally. "I have to leave in an hour,"
"Can't you stay?"
"I want to but I can't. This weekend though,"
"Okay. Did you tell Damon?"
"Not yet."
"The longer you push it off, the harder it's going to be."
"I know but I feel like the second I tell him he'll hate me so I'm just trying to enjoy as much of our relationship as I can before things explode."
She sat up then straddled his lap. "I love you."
"I love you more, babe."
She leaned in meeting their lips in a makeout. He removes his shirt then hers and they hug each other close as their lips continue to move against one another's. He reached for the button on her jeans and pulled them down along with her panties. He moved her on her back so he could rid them completely then stood removing his bottom wear himself. He slides into her and her arms wrap around his neck as her knees bend along the length of his torso. They swapped breaths and weakly kissed taking in each other's passion. "Look at me," she held his face up so she could look into his eyes. "Tell me you love me."
"I love you so much." He moved his hand to the side of her face and stroked her cheek.
She smiled and he kissed her until they came. He rolled on his back and she shifted to her side wrapping her arm around him.
"Who else did you fuck before me?"
She stayed silent for a while, not expecting such a question at this moment. "Um. Just that ex that was calling me when we went out the first time."
"Did you love him?"
"Yes,"
"Do you still?"
"No. Things didn't end so well between us."
"What happened?"
"Um-" her phone ringing interrupted and she stretched to answer it seeing that it was her mom. "Hey, mom. Sorry," she mouthed to Stefan then got up from the bed.
He sat up then grabbed his phone seeing that he had to leave within the next few minutes. He got dressed then went to find her, spotting her in the kitchen looking in the fridge. He grabbed her from behind then squeezed her breasts, kissing the side of her neck. "I have to go," he whispered in her ear.
She turned to him holding the base of the phone then kissed him several times. "I love you,"
"I love you," He kissed her once more then headed out.
He decided to take a little drive before actually going home. He pulled into his driveway pausing to see Damon and a woman engaging in a heated conversation. His brother's eyes met his causing him to stop talking causing the woman to look over to see what all of a sudden caught his attention. He stepped out of the car and calmly walked over to them. "Everything OK?"
"You bought a car?"
"Yeah, I figured it would help you out since you don't have to drive me everywhere anymore."
"Wait, are you Stefan?" The woman asked.
"Yes…"
She scoffed. "We're done, Damon."
He watched her walk off and probably was more surprised than he should've been that his brother wasn't trying to stop her at all.
"What was that about?"
"Just forget it. So I take it that you'll be seeing a lot more of Bonnie now."
"That's one of the main reasons, yeah. Was that your girlfriend?"
"You could say that, I guess."
"Why was I the dealbreaker?"
He sighed. "I may have exaggerated your...condition,"
"Meaning?"
"Well you know the strong, father-like figure to his hopeless, mentally ill, slow baby bro is a panty dropper."
Stefan rolled his eyes deciding to not comment and walk into the house. His phone vibrated in his pocket and he smiled seeing it was Bonnie. He closed his bedroom door then answered it. "Hey, babe,"
"Hey, sorry to call you-"
"Don't apologize,"
She smiled. "I was wondering if you'd be up for meeting my mom?"
"Oh uh-"
"It's not mandatory, I promise, she's just coming over tomorrow and I can always say you're busy since it's last minute."
"No, I'll be happy to meet her."
"Great. I'll text you the details, okay?"
"Yeah, okay."
"Bye,"
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"Bye," he ended the call then laid back in bed.
He exhaled, then closed his eyes, getting comfortable, adjusting his pillows. His phone vibrated and he figured it was Bonnie with the info so he didn't bother to look at it. He took several deep breaths before he faded into sleep.
…
He pulled her face in kissing her deeply as she bounced steadily on his lap. Their bodies started to perspire due to their close proximity. Bonnie moaned in his mouth as he pulled her closer to him and lifted his hips more into her. Her pace started to quicken and he stiffened coming inside of her. She grabbed his face and kissed his lips several times. "I love you,"
"I love you more,"
She smiled against his lips and kissed him twice. He held her, moving them to their sides. "What's your mom like?" He asked, stroking her cheek with his thumb.
"She's really sweet. She tries to be funny and sometimes she actually is but it's hit or miss." They chuckled. "I know she'll love you."
He kissed her. "How did I get so lucky to have you?"
She smiled looking into his eyes
Stefan sat up exhaling then jumped slightly as he heard knocks and before the door opened he grabbed his pillow to cover himself.
"Hey, can we talk?"
"Uh okay,"
"I want to meet Bonnie. Like seriously no yelling at each other this time. Back then I knew she cared for you and I was forcing you to believe otherwise and I'm glad you didn't take my words to heart."
"Thank you, yeah I'm actually meeting her mom tomorrow so maybe afterward she can come over here,"
"Yeah, that's fine."
He nodded and watched him walk out. Maybe this was the opportunity to tell him about them moving in together. Once he meets Bonnie and falls in love with her, maybe he'll be more willing to let them stay together.
"Baby, I have great news,"
"Yeah, what is it?"
"Damon wants to make amends and properly meet you and I was thinking that after lunch with your mom, you come over here and we can tell Damon about us moving in together."
"Sounds perfect. I knew things would work out for us,"
He smiled. "I love you so much, you know,"
"I know, I love you too."
"Can you come over tonight?"
"I would love to, babe, but I have class in the morning."
"Right, okay. I'll just see you later on then for lunch,"
"Okay,"
"I want to pick you up, is that OK? I can be waiting for you when class ends or I can pick you up at your dorm before we have to head out."
"Just pick me up outside my dorm like ten minutes before two because I want to shower and change."
"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow."
"Okay, I love you."
"I love you too,"
He ended the call then decided to shower.
…
"Hey, I'm gonna pick Bonnie up from school then we're having lunch with her mom then I'll drive her back here."
"Just text or call me when you're on your way."
"Okay, thanks,"
He nodded then watched him walk out of his room before calling after him and met him in the middle of the hallway. "I'm proud of you, brother. Seriously, you've grown so much and it's great to see you like this."
He smiled then hugged his brother patting him on the back.
He started to get a little nervous as he drove them to lunch. He knows what Bonnie said but what if her mom hated him? What if she doesn't want her to be around a guy like him with issues and baggage? As he parked the car he looked over at her and shut the car off once he was pulled in. Bonnie turned to look at him and her smile slowly faded from her face. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I'm just a little nervous."
"Don't be, babe." She kissed him a few times then held his hand once they got out of the car.
…
After telling her of his tragic childhood, things started to look up. His nerves calmed and he started making jokes having the women laugh. He really likes his girl's mom and he can tell that the feeling is mutual. Lunch was over quicker than he thought and they were about to go back to his place. Bonnie excused herself to the bathroom as Stefan paid for the check.
"What are you telling my daughter to get her to stop taking her pills?"
Stefan finished signing his name then her words hit him and he looked up not sure if he overheard a conversation or if it was him being talked to. By the look on Abby's face, he knew it was the latter. "Excuse me?"
"She told me everything, Stefan. I know that you two are in love and it can make you feel normal and sane for lack of a better word but that should not stop you from doing what it is you need to do."
"I'm sorry, I don't know what Bonnie told you but I am taking my meds."
"Not you, Bonnie."
"Bonnie?"
"She didn't tell you?"
"No, what's wrong?"
Abby sighed. "She's bipolar, Stefan. You haven't noticed her mood swings?"
He thinks back. "No, not really I mean it was only once when she was acting really tired over the phone but other than that I haven't." He thought. "Well actually when we first started dating she was a lot calmer but I never really thought much of it." He looked up seeing Bonnie making her way back.
How could she not tell him? Especially after knowing life-altering things about himself. He realizes that he barely knows anything about her. She's never truly opened up to him like he has to her and maybe it's because she was trying to hide her disorder from him. Maybe her past was just as bad as his but in a different way. How could she not tell him? Was she ever going to tell him or would he have to figure out after they moved in together? Would he have to find her pills then question her on them? Would she lie to his face or tell him the truth? Does he even want to move in with her anymore especially after what her mom told him about her not taking her pills?
"You okay, brother?" Damon placed his hand on his shoulder.
Stefan looks up returning to earth from his head. "Yeah, sorry I was just in deep thought."
