Following the beatdown that had occurred at the TV studio, Krieg was sitting in the back of a limo, along with Charlie, the gray woman, whose name was Vaggie, and the flamboyant spider, who went by the name Angel Dust. "So, Krieg, was it? Thanks for helping me and Vaggie out with that fight at the studio. She told me you wanted you wanted to ask me about something?" "YES." replied Krieg, "I AM NOT FROM THIS PUTRID PLACE OF PAIN AND PESTILENCE! I AM FROM THE WORLD ABOVE! I WAS ATTACKED BY DARK CLOUDS, AND A CIRCLE ATE ME!" "I'm not sure about the cloud part, but if I had to guess, that 'circle' that brought you here was a portal conjured by someone." "CAN YOU RETURN THE MEAT, CHILD OF OLD SCRATCH!?" Charlie shrugged and said "Well, I think I could, but we'd need a tome or a spellbook, and Dad isn't going to lend me any of his." Krieg groaned in frustration. "Its okay." Said Charlie as she put a hand on Krieg's shoulder. "We'll find a way to get you home, but until then, I have a place you can stay."

"Ahem, aren't we forgetting about someone?" Vaggie said as she motioned towards Angel Dust, who was sitting across from them, messing with a window switch. "What? I was just helping out a friend, that's a good deed, right?" said Angel defensively. "Not when it involves territorial genocide!" retorted Vaggie. As Angel and Vaggie continued arguing, Krieg's sane personality began wondering about what Charlie had said. "So she needs a tome to summon a portal back home, huh? Guess we better keep an eye out for one of those."

Eventually, the limousine pulled up to a fancy-looking hotel, and the quartet entered. Krieg looked around and noticed how worn the interior looked. As if the building hadn't been used in ages, though it still had electricity, judging from the freezer Angel was grabbing a popsicle out of.

"So, Mr. Krieg, welcome to the Happy Hotel! I know its not in the greatest condition, but I'm sure with your help, and everyone pitching in, it'll be a success!" Krieg's Sane Personality was doubtful he'd be of any use with redeeming damned souls, but he'd help where he could. Suddenly, there was a knock on the front door. Charlie went to answer it, and returned to the room with a panicked look on her face. "Hey, Vaggie?" "What?" "The Radio Demon's at the door." "Well, don't let him in!" "Don't let who in?" inquired Angel. "You've never heard of Alastor, the Radio Demon!?" responded Vaggie, confused. "Eh, not big on politics." replied Angel. Krieg and Angel listened as Vaggie explained about how Alastor was one of the most powerful and feared demons in Hell. To Krieg, this sounded like most of the raid bosses he and his friends had killed in the past.

Outside, Alastor had been waiting for a response from Charlie. The door swung back open. "May I speak no-" Before Al could finish his sentence, he was met with the 4 barrels of a Torgue shotgun. BLAM! One explosive blast and the Radio Demon had been sent flying backwards. Charlie looked on with bewilderment as Krieg stood next to her, holding the aforementioned shotgun. Vaggie spoke from the main hall, "See, Angel? Krieg understands!" "Well, excuuuse me for not knowing the name of every big shot down here!" Charlie turned to Krieg and said "What the Heaven, Krieg!? He might've been here with good intentions!" "I HEARD THE MOTH WOMAN'S TALE! HE IS UNWORTHY OF DRINKING FROM THE BOTTLE OF REDEMPTION!" Charlie let out an exasperated sigh and went back inside, wondering if helping out this guy was worth it.
