Hello everyone,
If you are wondering why I've been so quiet lately... Well, for my own original works, it's for a big reason. I am dealing with a major element in my life, the passing of my mother and life is going to be hitting hard, with a very uncertain future ahead of me. As a result, I am not sure if I can continue this project, but not only because of my own personal issues.
When creating 'Connecting Troubled Souls' originally, I wanted to funnel so much of myself and my desires of 'Star Vs' into the project and it resulted in honestly... One of my best creations on this site. It has its problems and it could be better in places, but I can say I'm 100% proud of what I created. However, the fact I haven't returned to this story in months means... I'm not sure if I can resume working on this. The only reason I'm not marking this as 'complete' is for a few reasons.
- I am not sure if I will fully pull myself away from this project.
- I do have a chapter 20 in development and unfinished
- I want to give this a proper ending at some point.
I am sorry for the lack of updates and I had very lofty ambitions for this project. I know for sure that one person, in particular, is upset his character isn't getting the attention he wants, and I'm sorry if I led you on in anyway, shape or form. If you want to use Leb for anything, feel free to do so. Thank you all for reading this project and please, I hope you understand where I'm coming from here.
If you want to see a fully realized post S3A story though, read my good friend Blackwolf's 'Sign of the Moon', which I'm helping out with writing and editing for the past month. It's a project I'm very invested in and quite proud of, so highly recommend reading that. Other shout-outs go to my friend Ngame's 'Forever', Jack's 'Marcocrushed' and Firewire's 'Catching Up' & 'Moon Butterfly - The Refugee Princess'. All four stories do so much right and I highly recommend giving them a read.
Thank you all for everything and hope to see you around whenever I come back to this or resume writing original stories again.
