Scary Monsters(And Super Creeps) part 2
Thirty minutes after awakening
A figure shuffled amid the night, his form covered by an oversized brown trench coat and a worn-out fedora, both looking like they had been found in a dumpster…which wasn't too far off from the truth.
The figure pulled out a worn ledger and flipped it open, the shadows of the night concealing him. He looked up at his location, an underground bar, fight ring, and 'massage parlor' for two-bit things and scum of all kinds. His red vortex-like eyes glaring at it from two streets over.
Izuku slowly walked closer and closer to the alley that held his destination. The tall and muscular bouncer looking over a small line waiting to get in. The vigilante walked at a deliberate and calm pace, his fists hidden by old worn pockets.
As soon as he made it to the end of the line he pushed his way to the front, making everyone before him swear at him angrily. As he made his way to the door the muscle-bound bouncer stood in front of his way.
"Hey, buddy. You gotta wait at the end of the l-" He was stopped when the wraith's fist slammed into his chin, breaking it and sending teeth flying all over the place.
He looked back to see everyone else looking at him in terror before slowly backing off. Good. Izuku threw off the old trenchcoat and fedora, his red and black hoodie and skull mask free. His jeans had caught some tears around the shins.
Izuku turned to the door and kicked it open, his boot hitting the oak wood and steel plates and breaking it apart easily under his full strength.
Almost immediately any and all music stopped and everyone looked at the uninvited guest. The vigilante didn't wait for someone else to react as he leapt towards the nearest thug and kneed him in the stomach, causing the man to double over.
Izuku then flung the man at another thug, the two bodies colliding harshly. He then roundhouse kicked another criminal in the side before spinning around and heel kicking another thug in the knee.
Izuku then leaned back as a bullet flew past his head, he turned to see the bartender holding a pistol in her hands.
One glare her way made her drop it as she held her hands up in a form of surrender.
He nodded before flinging a cup at her, the object connecting with her face and knocking her out immediately.
He turned to look at the few 'workers' at the parlor and tilted his head towards the door, they all ran towards the entrance and into the night with tears in their eyes.
He turned his attention to a set of stairs leading further into the underground. He stepped down, ready for a fight.
Kicking yet another door open he immediately transitioned into a roll as a large ice spike flew past him. He then flipped over a dozen more projectiles of varying size and material.
Time seemingly slowed down around him as his eyes brightened in a flash of movement. He transitioned himself mid-air and delivered a devastating dropkick to the nearest thug, using him as a springboard to launch himself.
He flew across the air, twisting and moving like water as he dodged their attacks. He spun mid-air and heel kicked a mook in the jaw.
Using the momentum built up he then shoulder-checked another thug as he landed, quickly transitioning into a roll as he did so. He then sprang up and landed an uppercut to the gut of some insect thug that tried to jump on him.
His fist cracked the man's hardened exoskeleton with ease. He then back kicked another thug who tried to sneak up on him in the chest, almost breaking their ribs. He then jumped up and pivoted around, spin kicking another thug rushing him.
Once he landed his spine shivered and he spun under an invisible blade, the sword just barely hitting him and his elbow smashed into the invisible wannabe assassin.
The criminal fell over unconscious as their smashed-in nose spurted blood freely.
He then turned his attention to the sounds of two people barricading a room nearby. He shifted his head and focused his hearing on what he needed to.
He heard the flow of air and turned his head to a vent on the ceiling, big enough for him to crawl into.
With superhuman agility, he was able to jump all the way to the ceiling with minimal effort with mutant hand digging into the concrete. With his free hand, he was able to open the vent and climb inside.
He stealthily made his way over to the locked room, finding himself above it. Right on top of some middle-aged man holding a shotgun. Izuku titled his head a little bit and heard someone else shifting around, somewhere he couldn't see.
He sprang forward and drop-kicked the man, the shotgun flying across the room as the man was knocked out instantly. He paused before jumping upwards instantly as a blast of pure energy shot at where he used to be.
Izuku clung to the ceiling before getting a good look at his adversary, it was a teenage girl that was only a few years older than he was. Stark white hair with bright silver eyes glaring at him. He had a hunch that he accidentally made this far more personal than it was supposed to be when he realized she and the man looked somewhat alike.
She charged up another bolt of energy and fired it, the vigilante dodging as the bolt scorched the concrete next to him.
Izuku gritted his teeth as he dodged the next bolt, the dull ache in his body was growing sharper and sharper. He needed to end this fight and fast.
The girl formed a disc in her hand and shot it towards the vigilante, who had limbo ducked underneath it.
As Izuku stood upright the girl shot forward, energy formed around her fist. Izuku leaned back avoiding the attack before grabbing her outstretched arm and sticking at the elbow with a quick jab. Breaking it.
"AGH!" the vigilante then slammed his forehead into the bridge of her nose, breaking it and knocking her unconscious.
Izuku looked at her for a moment before grunting and holding his side in pain, clenching his fist as another wave of pain began to flood him.
He took a deep breath, calming his nerves. He then walked over to the barricaded door and kicked it down.
As he walked to leave his spine shivered and he heard the sound of metal shifting. He grabbed a dart and flung it behind him excess nexus energy charged into it.
The dart flew before landing into the barrel of the shotgun and the nexus energy cause the gun to break in half.
The old man holding it looked dumbfounded before the vigilante ran up to him and shot three rapid-fire kicks. One breaking the man's knee, the second breaking his ribs. And the third slamming into his head, knocking him unconscious.
Izuku relaxed and grunted quietly as the pain in his side worsened, he took a deep breath and began to limp out of the underground bar.
As soon as he exited the building he grabbed his trench coat and fedora before putting them on and walking off somewhere.
Unaware of the stealth drone watching him from afar, the operator watching with peaked interest.
1 Hour later
A man with a squid for a head stood tiredly behind a cash register, his eyes focused on the clock as he waited for his shift to finally end so he could go home and sleep.
Hopefully, no customers would walk in for the next 30 minutes, just 30 minutes of peace and quiet would make it all worth it.
*Ding Dong*
He sighed and looked up, tensing slightly as he came face to face with a tall and muscular man wearing a brown trenchcoat and fedora. The man's glowing red eyes and skull-faced mask looking down at him.
The cashier gulped slightly, "W-Welcome to Gilburger… how may I take your order?"
"I'll want 20 Gilbur Supremes and 40 large fries… with 4 large Bepsis."
"Uh…of course uh sir…anything else?"
"No."
"Uh, right. That will be… 4440 Yen sir."
The man nodded and reached into his coat before pulling out a massive stack of money before tossing it on the counter. The cashier grabbed the massive stack and began to fill out the intimidating man's order.
The cashier grabbed a large paper bag before stuffing it to the brim with the order of food. A cardboard cup holder with all the drinks put together.
The cashier rushed over and handed the man his food, who took it robotically, "Thanks."
The man turned around and left. And as soon as he did the cashier sighed a breath of relief. He then looked at the stack of money for a moment, thinking to himself.
"Oh shit… That was the Wraith! Fuck I should've asked for his autograph."
Izuku shook his head as he stepped outside, his hearing was still dulled. The cashier had sounded blurry from outside.
"Looks like you're not up to code yet bucko."
Izuku glanced to his side, Hank in his shadow form standing er… floating next to him. Izuku looked away and began to walk forward, towards a nearby bus stop.
He sat down and pulled up his mask a little bit, revealing his jaw as he began to stuff the food into his mouth. Eating the fast food like a wild animal, gorging himself on it.
After eating his tenth burger Izuku grabbed one of the sodas and drank it all in a second before continuing his animalistic eating. Hank looked on in minor disgust as the young boy made all kinds of gross eating sounds.
"Jebus Green Horn, maybe slow down or something… or not, it'd be funny to see you choke on some cow's ass."
Izuku grunted as he finished the last burger and his second drink before eating his fries.
"…hey don't you ignore me ya little shit. I can still kick your teeth in."
Izuku nonchalantly gave Hank the middle finger as he finished his fries and third drink.
"Ok, that's it fucko. You've officially taken in too far." Hank then smacked the fourth drink out of Izuku's hand. The young man looked at the spilled soda before glaring at Hank.
"Fuck you."
"Eat a bag of dicks retard, maybe that will sate your lust for meat."
Izuku growled before pulling his mask down and standing up, waiting for the bus to arrive. Hank following him and leaning over him, his shadowy form waving through the air.
Izuku stood quietly as Hank loomed over him, the assassin looked at Izuku for a moment before looking at himself, face in thought for a moment before he realized something.
"You know, this reminds me of one of those Taiwanese Cartoons Deimos watched. Something about a guy that changed nationalities who used magic sunlight kung-fu and ghosts to kill people. Rather bizarre for my tastes."
Izuku paused, processing Hank's words, "What?" the young man said smartly.
"Yeah it's wacky isn't it? Think it was called Jake's Weird Quest or something. Anyways, your bus is here."
Izuku was knocked out of his stupor as Hank pointed at an awaiting bus. He sighed and walked forward, the bus door's opening allowing him to walk in.
The bus driver glanced at him as Izuku threw in a small lump on Yen into the toll. The man shrugged and began to drive forward, Izuku walked all the way to the back, noting that he was the only person on the bus.
The vigilante reached the end and sat down, his bones cracking slightly causing him to grunt slightly.
"The stretches too strenuous sweet prince?"
Izuku sighed and reached into his pocket, grabbing his phone and checking the time.
5:00
Izuku put the phone back and leaned his head back on the cushion before he began to drift off to sleep. Just rest his eyes for a few moments.
He then shot awake, his spine-tingling as he realized that there were four men in black body armor while wearing gas masks, each armed with nightsticks. His vision tinted slightly green.
He tried to get up but his knees buckled and he felt like throwing up, his muscles aching like hell. He glanced to the side and saw Hank sitting next to one of the men. Seemingly unaware of the shadow's existence.
"This is where the fun begins."
One of the men walked towards the weakened vigilante, nightstick raised high. Izuku then rushed forward, pushing past the pain and delivering a devastating gut punch to the man. Causing him to double over in pain.
Izuku then grabbed the man by the collar and punched him in the gas mask, putting all of his strength into the punch. His fist almost broke the man's mask.
He reared back another punch but his arm was held back when another man restrained him as a third came forward and hit the Vigilante in the chest, causing him to lose his breath as his ribs almost shattered.
The man he punched recovered and restrained Izuku too as a fourth man joined the third and started to wack him with his nightstick.
The two hitting him with a barrage of strikes, unrelenting as they began to beat him into a coma. Izuku felt each blow bruising his muscles and almost breaking his bones. He coughed up blood with one strike, his strength slowly being sapped.
But slowly his red eyes began to glow more and more with every hit, his body gaining an imperceptible green glow. Invisible to all but the most perceptive.
Hank watched for a moment before sighing and standing up.
"Welp, Don't worry Greengage. I'll save ya."
As one of the two attackers wacked Izuku once more, hitting the vigilante in the stomach with his nightstick, and the nightstick broke on contact. The hired thugs looked at the broken nightstick in confusion.
"Huh. Neat." Hank sat back down, watching on with mild interest.
Izuku tensed up and dug the claws of his mutated hand into the arm of the second man restraining him.
"Faaaaaaaack!" Izuku then tore a chunk of flesh off the man's arm. With his free hand, he dug his fingers into the lens of the mask of the third and yanked it off.
The gases flooded the man as he began to hack and cough. Izuku was then smacked across the head as he fell onto one of the seats. One of the would-be killers rushing him, Izuku mule kicked him square in the chest and sent him flying into the roof of the bus.
Denting it as the man smacked harshly into it before falling on the ground. The other rushed him but Izuku dodged to the side, he then grabbed one of the man's outstretched arms before pulling it forward and smashing it into the side of a nearby railing. Causing the bone within to snap in half.
"Gaaaaaaaaaagh!" the thug's cries of pain were amplified and Izuku kneed the man in the crotch before grabbing onto him and punching him in the side three times. Only stopping when he felt something break in the man's chest.
Izuku took a deep breath before walking forward lazily. He then gasped in pain as he felt a blade stab into him from the side.
Izuku instinctively smashed his elbow into the now cracked visor of the assassin. The vigilante gasped as he looked at the blade in his side before grabbing it and ripping it out.
His blood slowly leaked out before nexus energy clotted it in an instant. He gasped for breath before dodging back as one assassin rushed forward, the one without a mask. Swinging wildly with his nightstick.
Izuku then blocked the next strike with his mutated arm, grabbing it before head butting the man and then stabbing him in the thigh.
The man fell backward, his back on a railing. Izuku then kicked the knife, the blade going straight through and his kick breaking the man's leg like a twig.
Izuku sat down in a nearby chair, gasping for breath. He looked to the side and saw the four men doing the same. The two without broken bones stood up and got ready for another round.
He groaned before standing back up, Hank looking on in interest. Izuku raised his fists and got ready himself.
The trio looked at each other for a moment before Izuku rushed forward. The two assassins' waiting.
Izuku blocked one attack as the other was barely dodged. The men were trying desperately to bring the Wraith down. They began attacking with a mixture of skill and weariness.
He then kicked at one of the man's knees breaking it before ducking under a strike and punching the other in the kidney. He then smashed his knee into the crouching man's face, breaking their gas mask fully in half.
Izuku was then tackled by the last man standing, his body slamming into the bus window. Breaking it as the two of them tumbled outside, both of them slamming harshly into the pavement.
Izuku stood up as the other man was still prone, he then kicked the man square in the face, sending him tumbling back down.
Izuku took a labored breath before kicking him in the side, and then again in the face. One stomp on the stomach for good measure.
Once he was sure the man wouldn't get back up Izuku collapsed to the ground. Exhaustion taking hold of him as his body slowly got rid of whatever toxin they had pumped into the bus.
His entire body felt like it was on fire, it hurt to breathe. His chest and arms were sore as hell. But that didn't matter, he needed to know why he was targeted.
He walked over to the man's body and searched through his pockets, finding a cracked phone that still worked.
The vigilante turned the phone on and began to look through it finding his answer soon enough.
Attention all! The Wraith has become more and more of a nuisance over time, a group of concerned citizens has banded together to offer an incentive for his capture. 6 million yen for his head, 12 million if he's brought alive.
He grunted before pocketing the phone, now he just needed to figure out how to find this 'group'. He thought for a moment before looking at the stirring thug next to him.
Izuku hoisted the man up before slamming him into the side of the bus. Denting the metal slightly, causing the man to groan in pain.
Izuku crouched down and glared at the man. "Who sent you?"
The man looked up and chuckled slightly, "Wouldn't you like to know?"
The vigilante snarled before grabbing a piece of broken glass and jammed it into the man's knee.
Izuku clamped his hand over the man's mouth, muffling his screams as the vigilante slowly moved the shard all over; tearing the wound and making it worse.
"I'm going to ask you again. Who sent you?"
"F-Kiss my ass!" Izuku then decked the man in the jaw, almost breaking it before backhanding him.
"Last Chance." the vigilante grabbed a nightstick and reared his fist back, ready to strike the man.
"Wait! Wait wait. I-I'll tell you. It was the committee. They sent us."
"Who?"
"These fucking rich crime bosses, they put a bounty on your head a-and they've got dozens of people after you now."
"Hmm. Where can I find them?"
"I-I don't know."
"Not good enough." Izuku swung the nightstick into the bus, embedding the baton into the vehicle, mere centimeters from the man's head.
"Jesus Fuck! I DON'T KNOW! I-I-I- We just get a text and drop off targets at some run-down apartment! Th-That's all I know."
"Where?"
"Um…i-it's on my phone, y-you'll find the address there."
Izuku grunted before standing up, nightstick in hand and a quick wack to the head knocked the thug out.
Izuku stored the nightstick in his trench coat before limping away. As he did he saw Hank float over to him, the shadow holding something.
Izuku glanced over and saw that the ghost was carrying…an apple pie?
"Hey, here you go mold man." Hank held the pie out to him. Izuku looked at Hank in slight hesitancy before grabbing the pie.
"Uh… thanks."
"Don't mention it. Can't eat anymore considering…this." Hank gestured to his incorporeal body, "But you eating it is as close as I can get." Hank said with a weary sigh.
Izuku chuckled at the ghost's words, "Well, thank you regardless Hank." Izuku said before opening the tin and began to eat the pie in earnest. Savoring the apple and cinnamon taste, as well as the buttery crust.
"Yeah, yeah. Don't mention it, seriously, never mention this. To anyone."
Izuku nodded absentmindedly as he ate the pie, finished it, and tossed the tin in a nearby garbage can.
He stretched his body, getting the soreness and pain out before limping off. Checking the phone he had borrowed and looked at the address. Finding that it was only 3 kilometers away.
Izuku grunted before picking up into a sprint and jumped onto a nearby building before scaling it. Beginning his free run towards his new destination. Still unaware of the stealth drone following him from afar.
Twenty Minutes Earlier
Hikari played with her white hair as she waited in the limo, a cast wrapped around her broken left arm, and worst of all her broken nose itched but she couldn't scratch it. She had that wraith asshole to thank for that.
That and beating her uncle and his workers to a pulp, she was the first to recover and had found herself before her uncle's boss… her boss now too.
She rubbed the cast absentmindedly, wincing slightly as she still felt the pain surge in it.
She continued to play with her hair, waiting for something, anything really. Her mind raced at the thought of why her boss had her come here.
The door to the limo opened and a bald man in a well-pressed suit with a pair of dark red shades over his eyes was there waiting, holding it open.
"The Boss will see you now." the grey-skinned man said simply. Hikari nodded hesitantly before stepping out. She passed by the almost robotic man, trying her best not to shiver. The elite agent's always creeped her out.
She made it to the front door of the rather rundown apartment and entered. Finding a dimly lit hallway in front of her.
She looked around and saw a stairway off to the side and she walked over, beginning her ascent to the floor above.
As soon as she did she was greeted by another agent, one that looked the exact same as the one that drove her here.
"The Boss is in the room to your right." the agent told her just as robotically as the one outside.
She almost shivered but held her composure and walked to the right door, she held the handle for a moment before taking a deep breath and turning it.
As soon as she entered she saw what looked like a bodybuilder in white insect-like armor. Its mask-like face was somewhat obscured by the massive turkey leg it was eating.
It glanced at her and nodded before continuing to eat the leg. She gulped slightly and slowly walked past the mutant before suddenly bumping into what felt like a metal wall.
She looked up and paled slightly when she saw the snarling visage of an alien creature carved into a stoic metal mask. The man in front of her wore what looked like some kind of black and sleek almost alien-looking armor. A large black cape was worn over the armor.
Hikari almost faltered but held her gaze and met the armored man eye to eye. After a moment the man grunted, his voice synthesized by the mask making it sound like a growl.
"Welcome to the game little bird." the man's voice sounded formless, robotic almost like it belonged more to a horror movie villain. He then brushed past her and peered out of the window.
She let out a sigh of relief and looked around, looking for the supposed boss. Just then one of the nearby doors opened up and a large man in an all-black two-piece suit and a black bag over his head with no eye slits walked into the room.
All three people turned to look at the man. 'Could this be him?' Hikari asked herself.
The man looked at the occupants of the room before straightening his tie, "Sorry to keep you all waiting, the other members of the committee were getting antsy. Had to make some assurances. But where are my manners? I am Mr. W, your employer."
Mr. W spoke with a rather… gruff edge to his voice, but everything else spoke of a background of elegance and refinement. It was peculiar to Hikari. Her thoughts were interrupted when the boss spoke again.
"I'm sure you all heard that my associates have had a… ghost problem as of late. Myself and Mr. Ripper." he then gestured to the man in the armor, who nodded again.
"We came from America to aid our Japanese friends, and If I recall correctly some of my associates in Russia and China were coming as well. And as much as I enjoy the scenery, I do not want to stay long."
"No offense buddy, but why have us here? I sure as hell don't feel like fighting that fucker again, not like this. And I think I speak for the girl too when I say that." the mutant then gestured to the multiple cracks across his carapace and then to Hikari's broken arm.
"I…he's right, I can only do so much with one arm." Hikari said sheepishly, shrinking down in herself slightly when Mr.W turned to her.
"But of course… it's why I had these brought over from America. Call them gifts for my new Employees. Mr. Ripper already got his." the Boss said cryptically before pulling out two briefcases from seemingly nowhere.
Hikari looked at the briefcase with her name on it with apprehension, she then felt a large hand fall on her shoulder. She looked over to see the large mutant-like man standing behind her, trying to give her a reassuring smile that looked more like a toothy grin.
"I got your back kid, anything happens I'll bail ya out." Hikari looked at the mutant for a moment before nodding and smiling at him.
"Thank you." she said softly before gaining a determined look on her face as she then grabbed her own briefcase, glancing at the briefcase the mutant had she quirked an eyebrow.
"Your name's Big John?" she asked with a slight amount of humor in her voice.
"Yes, it is," John replied with an equal amount of humor. Causing the boss to chuckle slightly.
"It's so good to see my employee's getting along, but I'd hurry it up if I were you. We only have an hour or so until the Wraith arrives. Get into position, if everything goes right then we'll have our little ghost."
The trio looked at each other for a moment before John opened his case first, on hand pulling out a thin syringe with some kind of reddish liquid inside. The other was a pair of gauntlets.
"Gee, drugs and gloves. My favorite." John said sarcastically as he inspected the objects. Mr. Ripper scoffed at him, but before he could say something the boss raised a hand.
"I know it may not seem like much, but that syringe cost me a small fortune to acquire, prototype stimpacks. Can heal almost anything. As for the gauntlets, those are pneumatic power fists, whenever you punch, an extra 200 pounds of force are added. More than enough to add some extra oomph."
John's eyes widened a little before a small sadistic grin formed on his face as he slipped the gauntlets on, admiring the hardware around his clawed hand. He then injected himself with the syringe, and in an instant, all of the cracks in his carapace disappeared.
"Hot damn, feel like a million buck. Can't wait for round two with that sneaky little bastard
Hikari looked at her briefcase a bit hesitantly before sighing and opening it, finding a syringe similar to the one John has and a bulky white costume with black highlights. A pair of gloves with some wiring and control panels on them, the boots having the same. And a metallic mask with a thin visor with black plexiglass.
She took the syringe and stabbed herself with it, the contents within flowing into her in a moment. Instant relief flooded her as she felt her arm and nose form back into place.
She then ripped off the bandages around her nose and took a deep and long breath through them. She then gathered energy in her left arm before snapping her fingers and breaking off the cast entirely.
Mr. W looked approvingly before pulling out a block of a phone and pressing something on it.
"Alright, he's taken the bait. Should be here in forty minutes. Hikari get into costume, the tech inside should help with your quirk and the ballistic weave will protect your vitals." he then glanced once more at the deceive, humming to himself.
"In five minutes three drones will come in here and guide you in what you are going to do. I'll be watching from afar, oh and before I go you'll have support from my agents should you need it. Happy Hunting." he continued before tucking the deceive into his coat and leaving.
5:40
Izuku spied the apartment from across the street with a pair of binoculars, his trench coat and fedora being discarded, only leaving his third, fourth? Wraith outfit on, 'My god I've been doing this for almost an entire year now.' he thought to himself in realization before he shook his head.
No time for memories. Izuku leapt forward, clearing the distance with ease as he landed on a nearby fire escape, climbing up to the only lit room in the apartment.
He grabbed the window sill and slowly lifted it upwards, looking around in the darkroom before slowly slipping inside, nightstick in hand.
Scanning the area around him as he slowly walked forward. Unaware of the three drones flying noiselessly around him.
He then paused and tried to bat the closest drone away with his baton.
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Suddenly all the drones shot a massive sonic wave at him, the power of the waves keeping him in mid-air as the sonic waves began to slowly turn his insides into jelly. His eardrums almost burst from the intense sound.
"GRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!" Izuku let out a pained yell before sonic waves then stopped and he collapsed on his knee, breathing heavily as he was now deaf.
Then he felt a massive beam of heat hit him in his side, the beam burning through his hoodie and leaving behind a slightly scorched flesh and pushing him off balance.
He looked up and saw a figure in gray move towards him rapidly, before he could react he was kicked sharply in his burned side, causing him to gasp as he was sent flying. The wind knocked out of him in an instant.
He hit the wall of the apartment in a heap, the vigilante trying and almost failing to get up. Then for a brief moment, he saw a familiar mutant standing over him.
He was then punched with the force of a truck and sent flying once more, hitting the wall on the opposite side of the room so hard he crashed through it.
Izuku laid there in a heap, more than a few bones were broken. He could feel every nerve in his body screaming for him to just keel over and lay down. But he couldn't afford that. Not now.
He tried to stand up but another beam of white light hit him square in the chest, sending him tumbling backward as more of his flesh was burnt. Two massive holes in his hoodie.
"Gugh, F-*Cough* F-Fuck *Cough Cough*" the vigilante looked up and saw three figures standing over him. One in grey and the other two in white.
He tried to get up but the man in grey armor stomped down on his stomach, causing Izuku to cough up blood, his blood seeping through his mask slightly.
The man in grey then picked Izuku up by the collar of his hoodie and lifted him up to eye level.
"Time to die, little ghost." the man said sadistically before rearing back one fist, metallic claws ready to cave his head open.
Izuku knew that he had no way out of this, not on his own. So with his last remnant of strength, he said one final thing.
"H-Hank… ." he whispered, but it was more than enough.
Suddenly two shadowy arms formed from behind Izuku as sparks of Nexus Energy formed and hit the room randomly. The arm then locked hands with the man in grey armor and pushed him back effortlessly, the vigilante seemingly floating as more bolts of nexus energy shot all over.
Then a shadow shot outwards from Izuku, its red eye's glaring at the armored man.
"Hehehehehe. Peek a Boo motherfucker." the armored man was then sent flying in an instant, a large dent in his chest plate as he was punched through the wall and into the next room.
The large shadow then formed fully hovering over the downed vigilante, causing the other two to step back in fear at the shadow's sudden appearance.
Shadow Hank glared at the two for a moment before chuckling darkly.
"Lambs to the slaughter." Hank then shot forward and punched the mutant in the stomach, almost caving his carapace in and shattering most of his natural armor. He then lifted the mutant up and began to wail on his face. Savoring the pain he was causing the man.
Hank then felt a beam tickle him somewhat. He looked to his side and was greeted with an energy beam to the face.
"AAAAAAAAGGGH! IT BURNS IT BURNS IT BURNS! AAAAAAAGGGGH." Hank let go of the mutant and clutched his shadowy face in pain screaming like a maniac before slowly beginning to giggle maniacally.
"Hehehehe. Just kidding." his arm extended and wrapped around the girl in white before reeling her towards him and punching her so hard that she did a flip mid-air before landing harshly on her back.
Hank leered at downed assassins before looking at Izuku who was slowly getting up. His fast metabolism slowly healing his wounds.
"Heh. Here's not to you kid." Hank said before helping the young vigilante up, Izuku groaning in pain as he was lifted to his feet.
"Hehe. Wait until you get blown up from the inside out, then you'll feel real pain. But come one, let's get you some pie."
Hank then paused before batting the three drones away with ease, just then. The door and windows were busted open as a dozen agents rushed in. All wielding either batons or Glock 31s.
"Hehe. Fresh meat. Ready for another rumble kid?" Hank asked and Izuku shakily nodded before raising his fists. Phishing past the pain to keep on fighting.
Hank nodded at him in approval before turning to glare at the agents, "Been a little while since I've killed these guys, gonna be a good time."
The agent's aimed their glocks while the other half readied their batons. The unlikely duo starring them down.
They then rushed forward, dodging a hail of bullets to meet the agents with the batons in melee.
