Thanks to Izuku's lawyer warning him that King Pin might do counter-charges, he was ready for it. That did not mean he had to be happy about it, in fact, he was boiling mad that they dared to target the only family who cared about him regardless of Quirk's status.

Oh, they will pay.

He subtly looked back and locked eyes with Katsuki, who looked back at him with wide eyes that the verdanette could not decipher for the first time. Fear? Guilt? Uncertainty? Either way, that did not fit Kacchan in the slightest. Izuku gave his friend an encouraging smile, telling him that it will not come to pass.

Katsuki looked deep into the greenette's eyes and saw that he had no ill will towards him, and that eased his fears but then guilt gripped him like that sludge villain. He does not deserve to be forgiven. He then noticed something was off, like literally. Where are the flames on his back?

"If we do find that these charges are valid, Mr. Pin, then we will set a court date regarding this. However, if I think that it is not, I will toss the charges against the Bakugou's. Do you understand?"

Did that creep just shudder? The two teens thought in shock. She must be more powerful than her status!

"Yes, Your Honor."

Periwinkle nodded and looked at the information. "Ms. Midoriya, please stand."

The female greenette stood up, waiting for the next information.

"State your full name, age, occupation, and Quirk Status."

"Inko Midoriya, 41, I am a waiter at the Green Bean Coffee, and my Quirk is registered as Attraction of Small Objects."

The judge nodded again as she wrote everything down as Inko went back to her seat. She then looked at the boy. "Mr. Midoriya, same questions."

Izuku stood up. "Izuku Midoriya, age 14. I am currently a student at Aldera Middle School, and I am registered as Quirkless."

"Thank you, Mr. Midoriya, please step up to the stand." She replied and he did as she instructed. "Mr. Murdock, you may start."

Murdock stood up and walked to the Judge. "While I am talking, I would like to use my Quirk not only to detect perjury but to ensure my client does not suffer as much stress as he is already in. My Quirk is Microsound."

"I will allow it."

Murdock again nodded in approval then turned to his client. "Mr. Midoriya, can you tell me when this first started?"

The verdanette boy gulped nervously and avoided the intimidating glare his 'mother' was giving him. "It first started about a month after she took me to a Quirk Specialist right after my fourth birthday. The doctor ran tests to determine if my Quirk, if any, was delayed. However, the x-rays and the blood tests revealed that I had a 99% chance of being Quirkless."

He heard a few gasps from the witnesses behind him, and his anxiety rose a few levels. "My first warning was the look of anger on her face and I thought she was frustrated at the diagnosis, it wasn't until a few years later when I realized it was directed at me."

"She started demeaning me, calling me names like a Quirkless Choad, retarted, loser, and other degrading names and I did not understand why she switched. I thought that was just another way of raising me or thought that I must have done something wrong to upset her."

Murdock asked another question, causing the Bakugou's to flinch. "Have you told anyone about this?"

Izuku shook his head. "I didn't think it was important, nor did I want to be a burden. She was not physical at that time, just verbally abusive."

Katsuki saw his mother clench her fists hard enough that blood was starting to trickle from her nails breaking her skin. He gulped, he knew she was trying to reign in her MIR. The blonde felt the same way.

Murdock gave his client a moment to relax as he heard the boy's heart spike, then continued. "When did the first strike occur?"

A few moments pause as the greenette was trying to remember. "When I was 9, the staff at Masegaki Elementary eventually found out about my Quirklessness. They decided to encourage other students to use me as a target under the guise of 'playing hero' and I arrived home with bruises. I got my first beating from her that day, using the bruises from the school to hide hers."

Things became darker and darker as the court went on and Katsuki was about to lose his drink yet again. How can anyone be so brutal? Using whips and cattle prongs, and canes? That was too sadistic and he should know, as he is a borderline sociopath. Another question was, how the hell did Izuku deal with that pain alone for so long? He would have committed murder or off himself if that was the case. His will would have been broken long ago.

He looked at Izuku with new and sad admiration. Izuku had a powerful will to survive, but was it a good thing?

"Thank you, Mr. Midoriya. I have no further questions." Murdock said and sat back in his seat.

Then the sleazy attorney went up, and the mood changed to something constricting. "You had stated that Masegaki Elementary was the first school to assault you, is that correct?"

Izuku's heart skipped a beat, fear pumping through his veins. "Yes."

"How did they find out that you were Quirkless?" He looked at the greenette, intimidating him to answer.

"O-one of the staff overheard me and Kach-Katsuki's conversation, he heard K-katsuki say that I was Quirkless."

BOOM! The gut-punch of This-Is-Your-Fault No. 1. Katsuki flinched hard when Izuku said that he was the reason for the bullying in the first place. That had started the domino effect.

"Why would Mr. Bakugou mention that you were Quirkless?"

Anger started to boil in the greenette's stomach and wanted to lash out, but curbed it for now. "Katsuki and I were talking about becoming Pro-Heroes-"

A cough was heard from Inko which, unless you were a complete idiot, sounded more like a scoff. She then jolted when she felt three heated stares from Katsuki, Mitsuki, and Recovery Girl.

"S-sorry," She immediately said and took a drink of water.

Izuku inhaled deeply then continued. "We were talking about what we were planning to do in the future. We both wanted to be Pro Heroes, and I supported Katsuki. But when I mentioned my dream to him, that is when he…yelled at me."

Gut Punch no. 2. Dammit Katsuki, now that he mentioned it in his perspective you are a complete jackass are you? Dumbfuck.

"Is that all he did? He did not…hurt you?"

There was a tug in the back of the verdanette's mind as his heart raced in fear and a weird image popped in his head. What the hell was that?

"No, he only yelled at me to leave that dream as being Quirkless is dangerous in a Pro Hero profession." Another strange image appeared in his mind, this time clear enough to see that Katsuki struck him. He did not recall him doing so. Something doesn't feel right.

"Has he, in a sense, ever tried to 'bare his fangs'?" Another image, the same one as last. And it hit him.

"No offense Mr. Pin." Izuku said suddenly, now looking angry and a red ring appeared around his normally green. The Bakugou's and Inko looked at him like he grew a second head. "But I don't appreciate you forcing false images in my head without my permission. I also recall that unless it is necessary you need approval from the Judge to use your Quirk on anyone under the age of 18."

King Pin growled that he was caught and a wave of disgusting murmurs surrounded the room.

"You-"

"Katsuki." Mitsuki said, grabbing her son's arm, urging him to calm down.

"Order in the Court." The judge was furious. "Will both attorneys approach my bench?" Periwinkle waited until both were in front of her. "Need I remind you, Mr. Pin, that this is a child domestic court not a murder trial and any misuse of your Quirk can and will lead to Contempt in Court and your license revoked."

"I understand." Pin said, unnerved at her icy stare. Well, that plan went out the window, and risking it on Mr. Bakugou would be pointless now that he has a target on his back. Mr. Midoriya was way too observant.

"This is your final warning. You both can go back to your seats."

"Do you have any other questions for Mr. Midoriya, Mr. Pin?" Periwinkle growled, again giving an icy glare at the attorney.

"No, Your Honor."

"You may leave the stand, Mr. Midoriya."

Grateful that the first part was over he got up and as calmly as he could, quickly walked back to Ophelia and Murdock.

"Your next witness, Mr. Murdock?"

"Katsuki Bakugou."

His stomach lurched hard as his name was called and he got up and walked towards the stand. Now he knows how the Nerd felt, having scrutinizing eyes directly on him. Fuck.

"Your full name, age, occupation, and Quirk Status."

"Right, Katsuki Bakugou, age 14, currently a student at Aldera Middle School, and my Quirk Status is Explosion."

"Thank you, Mr. Bakugou. Mr. Murdock, you can continue."

"Thank you, Your Honor." Murdock said and stared at the blonde with his covered eyes. "Mr. Bakugou, how long have you known Mr. Midoriya?"

Ok, simple enough. "We have known each other since the Ol-my mom and Mrs. Midoriya introduced us. They were friends before we became friends. We grew up together ever since."

Murdock nodded, showing no spike in his heart rate. "Do you recall the day Mr. Midoriya was attacked at Masegaki?"

Here we go. "In a sense, yes. When De-Izuku and I arrived one day I noticed a look of hostility in some of the ex-teacher's faces. At first I didn't think anything of it, that is until we were forced to use our Quirks on Izuku during PE."

"What do you mean 'forced'?"

Katsuki swallowed hard, his arms throbbing as he realized he was creating fists. "They played it in a way that we would not get in trouble as this is a part of training, and that Izuku 'volunteered' to be the target."

"Did you participate?"

"At first no, as I-I felt something was off, and just stood on the sidelines and just watched. After a few times, I realized watching was a lot worse." Katsuki looked down and started to shake, remembering everything that year.

"Did you tell Mrs. Midoriya or your mother about this?" Murdock then asked, and he heard the boy scoff, not at the question but at himself.

"I didn't until a month later when a student's Quirk sent him to the hospital."

A collective gasp was heard around the room at this brutality. Katsuki refused to look Izuku in the eye.

"Do you know who the student was, or if you cannot their Quirk?" Murdock asked, now noting the blonde's heart rate spike dangerously.

"I-it was…mine."

Another round of gasps filled the room and the blonde felt even more shameful. Izuku looked at his friend in dread.

"Order!" Periwinkle yelled and slammed her gavel several times. Mitsuki looked down in concern, knowing now that the boy has a target for assault.

Murdock continued. "May I ask why you…did that."

Refusing to look up, he continued to talk at his wrapped arms. "I-I thought…that if I make a big 'show' at the other students and staff, they would be afraid that I could do the same to them. What it did was they left him alone for 2-3 weeks."

A huge wave of remorse wracked through his body. "My mom was furious with me and I had the longest grounding of my life. She then had…urged me not to do that again."

"K-kacchan…" Izuku whispered, and he saw the blonde's eye twitch. Don't put the blame on yourself.

"Mr. Bakugou, did you ever…continue the assault."

"I-I felt like I didn't have a choice, if it meant to keep those bastards away from Izuku for a few weeks, then I wouldn't mind playing the bad guy…"

Tears fell from his eyes, after recounting everything he knew he had ruined their chance of adopting the Nerd. He had failed not only him but his family.

"Why would you go so far as to harm him?" Murdock pressed and Katsuki gave him a look of self-loathing.

"This society, and that he is Quirkless. I have seen every single hate, every single look of disgust like he is nothing but a slug. If he had been left alone, I am sure the schools would have done him worse. I just didn't know that he was already in hell at home."

The entire room went silent as Katsuki finished his speech, and he was grateful that the Deep Voice Bastard did not interrogate him. After what he tried to do, he didn't think he would be able to face him without the thought of killing him.

They then proceeded to the teachers, who then tried to bash Izuku that he was a delinquent and caused fights on a daily basis and warned him several times that he needed to get his act together or will not move forward in life. Murdock immediately squashed that down when he called their bluff and reminded them that false testimony is a crime. Then the doctors claim that they did not see any indication of domestic abuse, just roughhousing. Again the retired Daredevil called them out.

"If you are going to falsify in court, the rest of you doctors and teachers can leave, but in doing so will immediately put you and your business under investigation if you are not already!" Periwinkle yelled and she slammed the gavel hard, breaking it. Several people left in fear.

"Right, we will adjourn for 1 hour, then we will continue to the next subject. You may return to your seat Mr. Bakugou. Mr. Midoriya and his representatives, please meet me in my office." She then banged the new gavel she got from somewhere and people started to leave the room.

Katsuki just sat there, now knowing that he had betrayed his family, even if his mother's hug says otherwise. The next subject he knew would be the hardest part, for both him and the Nerd.

Meanwhile, Izuku, Murdock, and Ophelia were in front of the Judge, who looked at the boy in concern. "Mr. Midoriya, the next topic I would like to prepare you on after we comeback, is that we will be talking about the sexual assault."

Izuku flinched horribly as a myriad of flashbacks plagued his mind, and Periwinkle saw that and gave the ultimatum. "Previously, I have given you an option to sit this out if you need to, but as I took a look further into the information in the case file, I will have to rescind my request and will have to order you to stay in the waiting room."

Relief and confusion washed all over the teen's mind at that request. "Would everything be alright?"

Matt gently patted Izuku's shoulder. "We actually have enough evidence for you to not testify."

Izuku sighed shakily and tears started to form. "I think that would be best, I won't be able to keep myself together if I had to relive those nightmares."

Periwinkle nodded and gave the greenette a gentle hug. "You don't have to, we have certain laws for testimony regarding something like this. You will not testify during this and you will come back once that section is over."

"Recovery Girl will take your place." Ophelia then said, giving the greenette a nod.

"You will still need to be there right? You said you don't want me to be alone."

"I have requested Eraserhead to keep an eye on you," Murdock said and he saw the boy's heart flutter in excitement. "He may be rough around the edges, but he is also understanding. Plus if anything happens his Quirk would be dead useful."
