Izuku and Eevee were now in the training room with the limette for the next phase of the verdanette's testing. Izuku made a few breakthroughs, as he can mentally morph his stubs to wings or hands, and a flame wall similar to what he had done between Mitsuki and Katsuki several weeks ago. However, the attacking part where he can cause damage was not working.

Burnin' was thinking that the kid needed to experience fear, anger, or any other negative emotion to trigger it. The kid is just too kind and gentle, and the emotions required either are not in his body's vocabulary or treading dangerously towards the trauma. Looks like she may not have a choice.

"Midoriya, you need to feel the flame. Remember when you said that you felt rage when it triggered? You need to embrace it!" The Heroine yelled at him while throwing a few fireballs at him.

"I am trying, how the hell am I supposed to feel angry when I don't know the trigger!" Izuku replied while continuing to dodge the lime fire. He was starting to get frustrated.

Eevee was running at him with a flame fist raised and tried to punch the verdanette. He saw it out of the corner of his eyes and dodged out of the way by forming into a fire and 'teleported' to another location.

"Izu-kun, what does your core feel? When you were attacked by that villain, what did your stomach do?" The Eevette said with a growl, getting the boy's attention. "How did you feel when that monster tried to kill PomPom?"

Izuku's eyes widened at something he remembered. The sludge was covering Katsuki, suffocating him while forcing the goop down the blonde's throat. Katsuki looked terrified at what would happen to him, facing death.

The verdanette's stomach suddenly felt like a boulder landing at the pit of his stomach, remembering now that he was afraid, scared, and mad that his childhood friend was in such terror. A few seconds later the boulder became hot and felt like boiling lava. Another unusual feeling reared its ugly head.

Rage.

Get away from Kacchan and Aunt Mitsuki!

A scream from the verdanette was heard all through the room, scaring Eevee at the heart-wrenching event. Burnin' was terrified herself, thinking that she had gone too far as the green fire wings danced wildly before becoming red and blooming like a pissed-off phoenix.

Ophiuchi is going to kill me for this. She thought before going back to her charge. "Midoriya, don't let the feeling consume you! Remember the feeling, embrace it."

"I-I can't, I feel like I am on fire!" Izuku yelled, terrified himself at this dangerous range of emotions. "I don't like it."

Eevee then ran towards the front of the verdanette, ignoring the red flames lashing her fur, and grasped his cheeks in her hands. "Eevee does not like the feeling either, lava boiling in anger and rage. However, it is needed to survive or fight, especially if one's Quirk is flame based."

She looked straight into his red-ringed eyes. "You just need to remember the feeling, and add it to your flame. You don't have to feel it all the time, you just need to remember the feeling. So the next time you do feel anything instead of doing nothing you keep running forward. Use your anger to save lives. Emotions are part of your will."

"My emotions are a part of my will," Izuku repeated and forced images of him launching forward to save his friend. Repeating the picture the boiling feeling started to become warm but not overpowering. The conflagration reduced to red to yellow flame wings and his eyes produced an orange fire tail along the edges.

Burnin' and Eevee waited a few more minutes to see if he would rebound but everything seemed to be in order. The Heroine then took initiative and pushed a button to summon several dummies.

"Firebush, step aside and use your Flame Forme to attack as many dummies, Firebird when ready, watch and observe her movements."

"Yes Burn-nee/Burnin'."

Eevee looked at her friend one more time to make sure he was stable before removing her hands and walking in front of the targets, laid out like a triangle formation. She then bent her waist, lowering her upper body while her tail raised above her. Within seconds the tail and collar started to glow white and flames were surrounding it like a conductor.

Izuku looked at the scene in awe. Her tail and mane holds her fire, which is amazing. I wonder if I have one. He then looked at his fire wings and tried to feel where the base was going. There, it feels like it is surrounding my heart and lungs. I will need to do more research on it.

The verdanette looked back at the Eevette just in time to see her inhale deeply and with a roar she released a massive flamethrower, hitting the targets and incinerating them on the spot. Only matchsticks remain.

"Holy shit!" Izuku screamed with wide owl eyes. "That was your flamethrower!?"

Eevee smiled and wagged her tail in happiness. "Yep, that is Eevee's Flamethrower. With the same unrestraint when I melted the statue."

"Ha, hell ya! That is what I call a bonfire!" Burnin' yelled and patted the Eevette on top of her head. Eevee responded with a 'Vee' and wagged her tail. She then turned towards the verdanette. "It is now your turn."

Izuku paled and waved his arms. "H-hey, I'm not ready! What if I go berserk! I don't want to hurt anybody!"

Eevee sighed in understanding. "Eevee will be fine, I can withstand up to 2200 degrees and Burn-nee has some resistance which I can increase with my forme. Sometimes it's best to let loose before learning to hold back, especially with fire."

"Firebush is correct, plus we are in a training room that is designed for Flame Quirk Users, if things get wild we have extinguishers in this room."

After a few more of Burnin's and Eevee's encouragement, he decided to let loose. Walking up to a fresh set of targets he thought of a move that had been nagging him for a while. One massive blast yet sounded sinister. He liked the name actually.

Eyeing the three targets in front of him, he visualized his wings moving up in a flight position and summoned three crimson-colored orbs.

The duo on the sidelines saw those same three orbs and felt a sense of power coming from them. The crimson-violet colors formed and danced like flaming spirits. Eevee shuddered in excitement.

"Eevee thinks Bun-kun is a Dark Horse."

"I think you are right, and it will be a blast, ha!"

"Twilight Zone." Izuku chanted, and the three orbs stood still at the ready in front of him. The red flame-mist along his eyes became darker in color. With the final image set, he opened his eyes, a red ring glowing brighter in power, finished up his full power. "Infernal Parade!"

The three flame orbs then launched forward like a cannon blast and hit the three targets in the chest head-on. The impact caused a massive explosion that rivaled even the No. 2 Hero's Hellfire, which is a good thing that he is not around.

"Hahahahahahahaa! That was amazing Izu-kun!" Eevee laughed and ran towards the verdanette. He stood at the scene in shock, the impact looking more like the targets dancing at the stake. "Don't worry, now that we know what your max is, we can teach you how to control the amount."

"I sure hope so, I don't want to be a burden to the civilians or the agency if I can't control my fire." He said, following the breathing techniques to reduce the heat and return to his green flame form. "I don't want to act like Endeavor."

"Don't worry, you still have a kind soul. We will help you get control before you get to your exam. You have a year."

Ophiuchi and Shoto were looking at their training in shock and worry. The serpentine did not think that he would produce such powerful fire and he had received a minor flashback to get that flame going. Conditional Quirks are very sensitive.

"I hope he does not suffer from this, he has already been through so much." She said, causing the dual-haired teen to look at her in surprise.

"What do you mean?"

"It is not really my place to say, but he suffered a lot. His mother was very abusive and we were able to get him out. However, a lot of damage has been done, as you are aware."

Shoto shuddered as he had some flashbacks of his own. "You know if the Old Man finds out about him, there is a cha-"

"Let him try," Ophiuchi said with a dark persona, causing the teen to gulp and step back a bit. "He is already in hot water, and Izuku is protected by my agency and Judge Periwinkle. There is so much the Commission can sweep under the rug."

Shoto nodded and looked back down as the trio started walking out of the training room. "I still would like to thank you for what you have done, since your talk with him and the Judge's letter he pretty much stepped aside."

The Serpentine Heroine smiled, "You are welcome, I just wished I would have done something sooner to save her as well."

Shoto waved her off, "Don't worry."

Ophiuchi smiled and gave the teen a slight nudge. "Why don't we go out, I think Brian would kill himself if he has to feed these two. There is a place near the beach with excellent soba."

The teen half-smiled. "Sure."
