Two days, TWO DAYS is all it took for the entire school of UA to find out that Uraraka Ochako was immediately demoted from the Hero Course, not even a week into the semester, and brutal was putting it mildly at the humiliation.
The girls of the General Studies, including Mei Hatsume, trapped her in the girls' bathroom and used a special permanent marker on her, marking the word Traitor on the brunette's forehead, followed by the world's nastiest swirly in a toilet that no one liked to flush. She ran home crying her eyes out that Thursday, refusing to go back to school until her father forced her to go back the next day, saying this was punishment for her dishonoring the family.
So, with spare clothes and fresheners, she had no choice but to face the miserable music, and that marker was still on her forehead. Her locker was defiled with words that made her boil.
Traitor…
Mole…
Slut…
Villain…
Beggar…
Homophobe…
Worthless…
She had never felt this humiliated and she wanted revenge, revenge on that busty Bakugou bitch, Izuku, that stupid Pokemon Eevee, and every one of those 1-A class who caused her this. She did not do this, they provoked her, and oh they will pay.
Ochako then opened her locker and something sprayed right into her face, followed by the foulest of smells causing everyone around her to clear the area. If one could describe it, it was a mixture of skunk and shit, and it was all over her.
"Uraraka!"
Ochako looked at Midnight in anger as she was walking toward her with her hand over her mouth. "Prank Items of this scale are forbidden in this school, you will face detention 2 hours after school and you will wash the entire hall and lockers!"
"It wasn't me, Sensei!" Ochako protested and slammed her locker door. "Someone put it inside my locker! They framed me!"
"No one in this school has access to your locker number, Uraraka." Midnight growled and struck the nearest locker with her leather flog. "I will not repeat myself, or detention will be longer. Now go wash up, I don't want you stinking up my class!"
"B-But…" Ochako tried again then sighed in defeat. "Fine…" And she went to the girls' showers, facing the walk of shame as everyone was laughing at her, throwing items and rotten food at her already ruined clothes and makeup. Oh, they will pay dearly.
Other than the early entertainment the rest of 1-A's day went by smoothly, the air many shades lighter as they no longer had to deal with the discriminatory bitch. Katsuki was especially glad now that he doesn't have to deal with her asking him out every fucking day and run the risk of a catfight between her and Eevee. Would've been hot though, but even he knows his girl will show no mercy.
Another reason for his improved mood was that Izuku seemed more alert today and his flames reactivated, along with his voracious appetite, so he is going to make a big batch of katsudon curry. Izuku seemed to like that combo and loved the spice too.
So after the end of class, he was getting ready to head home when Denki walked up to him and tapped his shoulder. "Hey, Bakubro?"
"What is it, Dunce Face?" Katsuki growled, waving Eevee goodbye.
Again he saw the signs of anxiety as Denki was shifting from side to side a bit, but he seemed to have it in control. "Would it be possible if I could come over and see Usagi today? I know it is sudden, but you had mentioned that he was better so I would like to talk to him a bit."
"And you can't wait until Monday because?" Katsuki asked with his eyebrow raised, and he detected a slight withdrawal.
"I-I know you all said that it was not my fault but…to be honest, my ADHD and anxiety causes me to think negatively, and if I don't have anything to distract me from these thoughts, it will drive me nuts and that triggers my d-depression." Denki said, looking down as he revealed his uncertainty. "I-I just want to make sure he is not mad at me, or a-afraid of me at least."
Katsuki knew he had some trauma, and he could not help but feel sorry for the electric blonde. He was just like Izuku in self-depreciation, and the only way to cure that is to talk it out over the source or talk to someone you trust about it. "Why not, Izu is actually going crazy from staying home for too long anyways. He will get a kick to see one of his friends other than me and Eevee."
Denki smiled wide and grabbed his bag and walking stick and they both left the school, occasionally being dragged away from certain dips and potholes. He was so giddy he wasn't paying attention to where he was walking.
"Dunce Face, pay attention. I can't keep you from stepping off the curb all the time!"
Denki chuckled and just resorted to walking just behind him and holding onto Katsuki's uniform jacket. "S-sorry, I am just overly excited to talk to Usagi again, and…yeah…I don't know this area at all so the electrical currents are weird. Why are there cables underground?"
"We are in a higher class location and like the majority of the spoiled fuckers they are, complained that the poles and wires above them ruin the aesthetics and house values." Katsuki scoffed and turned a corner. "Personally I don't really care, but they believe they are Buddha himself and that everything revolves around them and what they want. Pfft."
"Sounds just like my dad…"
Katsuki looked back when he felt Denki's movements slow down a bit, and he was shaking in nervousness. His father must have been a dick. "Hey, you ok?"
"Y-yeah, I-I…*sigh*...I don't know why I try to talk about him but when I do it just makes me clam up." Denki answered, then put his mask back on and smiled. "My therapist tells me that I would feel better if I am more open, but…I am not comfortable with some of his methods. I will be fine once I see Usagi, how much farther?"
Katsuki frowned at the electric blonde putting up a facade but did not continue. "A few more blocks and we will be there. It may seem sudden, but if the Hag allows it, she would probably make you spend the night. We will need your Aunt's permission though."
Denki suddenly stopped, causing Katsuki to jolt and almost choke on his tie. "A-are you sure? I-I don't want to impose too much, I just wanted to say hi."
Katsuki laughed. "Well, I'm calling bullshit. I know you have a crush on Izuku and don't you dare deny it." The soft blonde said and Denki turned a severe shade of red and some sparks were being released from his person. "Just…I will have to ask but your ability seems to detect these kinds of things, but don't rush him. He has been through a lot from his past, I don't want anything else hurting him."
Denki nodded and continued walking with the eldest Bakugou to the residence. "I won't do anything to scare or harm him. It's the last thing I want to do."
Mitsuki was cleaning the downstairs before the front door opened and Katsuki entered with another blonde she did not recognize except from the video of the incident.
"Hello Katsuki, who is your friend here?" Mitsuki said with a wave and noticed the boy was clinging to Katsuki's uniform. Upon closer inspection, she realized that he was blind. "Sorry, I didn't realize-watch your step after you remove your shoes."
"No worries Mrs. Bakugou. I get that a lot." Denki chuckled and tapped the edge with his cane before stepping up. "You wouldn't believe how many people gawk at me when they find out that I am in the Hero Course too, it's hilarious."
Katsuki chuckled and shook his head as his Mom looked at Denki with the same surprised look before shaking her head and putting back a smile. "That is amazing, Principal Nezu must see something that most cannot. Why don't you have a seat while I make some tea, Katsuki, go up and get out of your uniform and check on Izuku. He is taking a nap right now so he should be up shortly."
"Aight." Katsuki replied and guided Denki to a chair next to the coffee table. "We should be down in about 30 minutes, don't go too far, Dunce Face."
Denki just laughed. "Dude, if I take even a step, the odds of falling on my face will be high. Don't worry, I won't move a muscle."
The soft blonde grunted then rounded on Mitsuki. "Don't even think of asking 101 questions, Hag. I'll be down to start dinner as well."
"No guarantee, brat." Mitsuki replied and threw a pillow at her eldest, again dodging it like he had done the previous 15 times.
Denki had a sweat drop slide down his cheeks at the unusual dynamic this family had. It seemed similar to what he has with his two Aunts, yet you could tell they are caring and would do anything to protect him. If Denki could envision the Bakugous, he would think they were as loyal as German Shepherds or Pitbulls. A few barks of warning then a bite that will drag anyone to hell.
"So." Mitsuki said suddenly, causing Denki to jolt a bit and tilt his head in the direction of the voice. "From what I understand, you must be…Denki Kaminari?" She asked as she gently guided his hand towards the cup. "You were there during the incident, correct?"
"Y-yes ma'am." Denki replied and took a sip. "Usagi and I were a team when the water was released. I didn't mean to hurt him, the water amplified my range."
"Don't you say sorry, Denki. Both Izuku and Katsuki told me more of the incident and you both took precautions to stay within backup distance but away to not hinder each other. The only monkey wrench was that damn water and All Might's questionable teaching."
"Hehe, yeah. When Might-Sensei tried to act innocent I detected an electrical pulse that flares around the heart when they are either scared or lying. My passive quirk is electrolocation, so I can sense people's electrical pulses, as I can see you." Denki replied, giving her the rundown of his quirk. "My main Quirk is Electrification, where I can discharge electricity like a stun gun or EMP, however, the larger the Voltage the longer it causes me to short circuit."
Mitsuki nodded and saw where he was coming from. Like Izuku she could tell he had some trauma and would constantly blame himself. He was an innocent, cute, Pikachu Mochi.
"What!? Denka is here?"
Both of them looked up as they heard rapid footsteps coming down the stairs and slid right into the living room. Izuku's eyes glowed like supernovas as he caught sight of Denki. "Denka! How are you? How was school? Did anything interesting happen? What happened to that Quirkist Uraraka?"
"W-woah! Slow down, Usagi. You just woke up!" Denki laughed and his shoulders became several tons lighter at the enthusiastic voice of Izuku. He sounds so healthy compared to Monday. "If you want me to answer all of your questions, slow down, I can only focus on one at a time."
Izuku nodded and said ok before walking up and hugging the electric blonde, catching him off guard briefly before returning the favor. It made Denki happy that he did not blame him for his injuries and missing his first week of school.
"I missed everyone there, except for that Ochakhoe."
"Izuku…"
"What? Not only she insulted Eevee and others who were Quirkles or have mutations but kept trying to hit on Kacchan, not to mention the fact she put us on the news. Why should I respect that marshmallow chipmunk?"
"...As long as it is in this house and not at school you can say it. The Uraraka's are already on my shit list anyways." Mitsuku conceded and walked back into the kitchen. She was floating on cloud nine, her Mochi got his fiery attitude back and she missed it.
"Alright, you guys talk a bit, but if you start to get tired don't strain yourself, Izu." Katsuki growled, putting on an apron with a tan Fennec in the center. "Dinner will be ready in about an hour. Dunce Face, how are you with spicy foods?"
"Oh! I am actually okay with it, I can handle spice nicely."
"Aight."
Denki smiled as Izuku chuckled, jolting briefly as he felt Honey jump on his lap. "Hey Honey, your fur feels nice and silky today."
Honey fluffed her fur some more and put her head under his hand, appreciating the compliments he had given her. He continued to pet her while talking to Izuku.
"Let's see…where to begin…I remember you asking what happened to Uraraka, right?" Denki said and heard the verdanette confirm. "Well, by Wednesday morning she was no longer in the Hero Course and got Demoted to the General Studies with no chance of getting back into Hero Courses for 4 years from what I had heard and bro…the other students were not kind at all."
"Really? What did they do?" Izuku asked in surprise, internally happy that she was getting her just desserts.
"The real question is what they didn't do?" Denki said and was trying hard to curb his laughter. "Someone told me that Mei, the first-year student in the Support class, marked the word Traitor on Uraraka's forehead and it was made with high-end henna ink so it will be there for weeks."
Izuku laughed in his hand before giving a slight cough, then went back to the conversation. "What else happened?"
"She skipped school Thursday when a group of girls trapped her in one of the bathrooms and gave her the mother of all swirlies, forcing her to run back home covered in who knows what." He sensed Izuku squirm and said Ewww at the imagery. "Friday she had come back to school and Jirou told me that Uraraka's locker was marked with names like traitor, villain, anti-hero…there were a few I was not fond of but…it is just me."
"Like worthless?"
"Yeah, that is something I don't want anyone to feel, good or bad." Denki replied then went back to the story. "Then, when she opened her locker something sprayed right on Uraraka, and within seconds everybody had to clear the hallway as a stench that smelled worse than a skunk filled the hall."
"Ewwwww, sounds like an invention Mei would have." Izuku grimaced and Denki nodded.
"Yah, but it was made so subtly that she was not caught, or should I say was let go."
Both Izuku and Denki laughed at that, glad Mei was not going to be in trouble and Nezu was giving her a free pass as it involved Uraraka's Karma. "Then-and then-Midnight came at her with a flog and gave her detention to clean the entire hallway after school, and she is still cleaning that stench out!"
"Serves that bitch right, that fat cheeks pissed me and Eevee off way too many times." Katsuki growled and brought a tray of fresh fruits. "I knew for a fact Fennec was reaching her limit, any further and there would have been a catfight."
"You mean foxfight?"
"I said what I said."
Denki chuckled and took a bite of pineapple. "These are delicious!"
Izuku agreed. "Kacchan seems to know when they are ready to be cut, he is just so gifted."
"I ain't that gifted…" Katsuki mumbled, hiding his blush from the compliment. "These are just to hold you down until dinner is ready. Also, did you happen to tell Izu about the incident at lunch?"
Izuku looked confused as Denki slightly choked from the sudden burst of laughter, and he looked like he was ready to explode from this info.
"Dude, I almost forgot about the best part!" Denki replied and smiled widely, causing Izuku's heart to skip a few beats. "Though are you sure we should be talking about this over fruit?"
"I have heard worse, Denka. Try me." Izuku said suddenly, surprising Denki at the switch, he then smiled.
"Apparently, Lunch Rush found out about her harassing Eevee and…found Eevee crying during break."
"Eevee was crying? Kacchan, why didn't you tell me?" Izuku said and rounded on his brother, who looked just as surprised.
"I-I didn't know that part…when was this, Dunce Face?"
"It was during 1st break, apparently she received a threat and it questioned her loyalty towards you, and that her way of speaking in Third person was so stupid that they called her a mentally challenged fox."
"That stupid cunt…" Izuku growled, his wings burning an angry red. "Why she isn't expelled yet is beyond me."
"They are already in a legal battle, so they might be looking for more proof for expulsion." Katsuki replied and the verdanette nodded in understanding.
"Either way, once Lunch Rush found Eevee hiding in one of his food cabinets and discovered that it was Uraraka who had hurt her, he decided to add a little gift in her food."
Izuku blinked and his hair stood on end as he heard both Katsuki and Denki chuckle like devils. "What did he do?"
"He added a special…quick acting laxative to her sweets."
"Pft!" Izuku immediately put his hands over his mouth as he tried hard not to laugh his ass off at the image of Uraraka holding her ass and running towards the bathroom as the laxative was preparing a gastric purge. It did not help as he then busted up laughing, falling off the couch and gasping for oxygen as his diaphragm was working overtime from the laughter and the coughing.
wheeze* "S-she di-*cough* make it in time?" Izuku struggled to say, now lying still on his stomach as his head was starting to spin from the lack of oxygen. Katsuki forced him onto his back with his arms spread wide to open up his ribcage.
"Jesus, if I knew you would react like that I wouldn't have mentioned it." He said with a smile but shook his head as he could see tears of laughter and snot coming out of his brother's nose. "At least you are smiling, better have that on your face than that frown."
"Haha, yah."
Denki decided to finish up his story. "No she did not make it, she left school again crying in humiliation before being forced to come back for detention, but not before Eevee told her to lay off the sweets."
"That's my girl." Katsuki smirked and went back into the kitchen.
Izuku slowly got back up onto the couch once his head stopped spinning and unconsciously leaned into Denki. Mitsuki immediately noticed this and smiled, taking a photo to add to precious memories. Both she and Katsuki smiled as the youngest member had found a possible partner.
"Don't tease him too much, Izu still has insecurity." Katsuki whispered, seeing his mother nod. "They do like each other, but I think we should wait until he is ready."
"Lucky bastard," Mitsuki teased and chuckled. "Looks like I won't be able to use this as blackmail anytime soon.
Katsuki snickered before going back to the curry. "It's getting late, and I don't want Dunce Face out at night. You don't know who will be lurking in the alleyways."
"I'll ask him to spend the night then." Mitsuki said and walked out of the kitchen to the other boys. "Hey, Denki. It is running late so I would like you to spend the night with us. Even if we are in a rich area we don't want you to get hurt on the way home."
Denki waved his hands in surprise. "O-oh that's ok, I don't have any clothes for the night anyways."
"No buts, besides it looks like you are about Izuku's size, just maybe a size bigger? If needed you can wear Katsuki's clothes." Mitsuki said in finality, not giving the electric blonde any room for excuses. "We are just really cautious at night, the Villains or petty thieves are more active here."
Izuku shuddered as he had a slight flashback from the Sludge Villain in the alleyway. "Denka, it would make me feel better to know that you are here safe than you walking home where Villains can catch you."
Denki sensed the fear in the verdanette and decided to take their offer. "Alright Usagi, I will need to make a phone call to let my Aunts know."
"Better make it quick because dinner is ready." Katsuki announced and he could hear Izuku's stomach growl in protest. Everybody chuckled as he squeaked and turned a slight pink. "I made a massive batch so we have plenty to share. Pops will be home late though so I already have a plate set for him in the fridge."
"Yay!" Izuku chirped, washing his hands before getting to the table with Denki. "I missed having solid foods, this will be amazing!"
"It does smell delicious." Denki agreed as the aroma wafting around him was making his mouth water.
"Kacchan's cooking is amazing! He practically makes everything good." Izuku complimented, taking a large helping of katsudon curry. "He and Poppa are good, and they helped me a lot this week with my restrictions."
"Hey, Recovery told us to put you on that diet." Mitsuki said with slight disapproval, and she saw Izuku grimace.
"Hag."
Mitsuki looked at Katsuki and he shook his head to tell her to stop there, and it took a few moments to realize what she was about to trigger. She immediately coughed and poured herself some soda.
Everyone enjoyed the katsudon curry, especially the Green Bean as Katsuki, Mitsuki, and Denki were looking in his direction as he devoured his third plate and they were only on their first. Katsuki had to hold the fourth helping away from Izuku, telling him to slow down.
"Jesus Izuku, slow down! The food isn't going to go anywhere!" Katsuki growled and Izuku stared at him like he was being forced into starvation, tears starting to build up in his eyes.
"B-But, Kacchan~ I am starving!" He cried, trying to reach for his plate but Katsuki was putting his hand on the verdanette's face.
"You are finally able to eat solid foods but you still have that cough, slow down to reduce the risk of choking or I will resort back to that Slurry!"
Izuku blanched. "You wouldn't dare…"
Katsuki gave a look saying 'try me.' "If you don't slow down then I will. Besides, I don't think you want to show Dunce Face your piranha appetite."
Izuku squeaked and burned a brilliant red as he suddenly remembered Denki was having dinner with them and spending the night. He became even redder when his crush just chuckled.
"I find it cute, the fact that he's eating like that, I am sure Lunch Rush would squeal in delight."
Everyone laughed as Izuku squeaked and steam was coming out of his head, slinking down his chair and underneath the table like he was melting. He could hear them laugh at his unique behavior, and he stayed there for a few moments, smiling at the warmth of happiness between his family and Rai-Rai? Yes, Rai sounds much better than Denka, he trusts him like he trusts the Bakugou. Denki will now forever be his Rai.
Izuku glances at Denki for a moment, still trying to reach for his 4th plate of katsudon curry in the process, and decides to just ask. "Denka? I had a little thought just now that the name Denka doesn't really fit you like I thought it would. Would you mind if I called you Rai instead? To me it sounds better on you."
Denki gave it some thought and one of its meanings popped into his head causing him to blush followed by what Katsuki had told him earlier. "Izuku has a hard time trusting people. He can talk to them but he does not open immediately. You will have to earn his trust."
Trust…the English meaning of Rai.
Izuku trusts me. Denki thought and bent down a bit to smile at Izuku. "I like that nickname, and would be honored to have such a name from you."
"Yech, if you two lovebirds are done, finish that up in the bedroom, we are eating right now."
"MOMMAAAA!"
