Chapter Title: and he fills it only

Chapter Summary: Survival opportunities that make themselves are the best kind.

In which Nomi Sunvhett makes the most of a terrible situation. (And Taris.)

For the 3 sentance ficathon prompt any, any, reasons I'm still alive. Because a good monologue is the best opportunity to load up some frag grenades. Especially if you think you might be a press-ganged mandalorian.

The tendency of the sadistic and powerful to monologue when in a position of power is as much a lifesaver as any backup weapon - it follows that the combination of the two, naturally, yields the best results when the objective is survival and the circumstances are dicey at the most charitable of descriptions.

No one ever called a mandalorian underprepared - not for battle, and not, with any sense, to their face - if that is what Nomi is (and assumptions made of the strength of a name and tendency towards violence are not the best to rely upon, but most info that she has) then she can do no worse. And if there is a thing that Nomi Sunvhett wants, it is to stay alive long enough to figure out her place in the galaxy - that, and a deniable method of slapping certain specific members of the Republic's navy, late of the Endar Spire.
