(Disclaimer: I own nothing, they are the property of their respective owners).
(Author's Note: Originally I was gonna end this story with the end of the heist, but then I got an idea of an alternative version of the death wish mission, this one involving most of the whole team).
(Also: This chapter is gonna be short, enjoy).
Chapter Nine - Regroup
On the outskirts of town, Two 18-Wheeler trucks drive away from a warehouse site off Route 68, the whole team is there, relieved, and now relaxed after what they had just accomplished.
Lester - Alright, everyone, that was a great job, a few close calls, and an almost fatal accident, but we succeeded in our goal.
Frank - We did it.
Everyone agrees.
Lester - Now, I'll need a couple of days to get everything sorted out, until then, everyone keep a low profile, no bringing attention to yourself, don't buy anything big.
He turns to Trevor.
Lester - And no bringing the feds out here. Trevor.
Trevor gives him an ugly look.
Trevor - Grr, I'll see you put in the ground, wheels.
Lester - Uh Huh.
A Taxi Cab pulls up onto the site.
Lester - Remember, all of you keep your heads down.
He gets in the cab, and leaves the lot.
Michael - Now, Lester's gonna take care of everything. I'll contact everyone when everything is settled.
From out of nowhere, a familiar face shows up again.
Steve Haines - Bravo, team, bravo!
They see that it's Steve Haines.
Steve - That was fun.
Michael - What are you doing here, Haines?
Steve - I'm just here to say congratulations on a job well done, you and your pals just managed to pull off something that has never been done in the history of this city in a very long time. Color me impressed.
Frank - Man, what the fuck do you want?
Steve - Because of your recent actions, the heat has been taken off me, and now Merryweather, the Agency boys, and everybody else in town are blaming each other for the theft of $402,900,000 from the UD, I say that calls for a celebration.
Michael - You want us to keep doing your dirty work. Don't you?
Steve - That shouldn't be a problem, considering that there's now more of you at my disposal.
Michael - Fuck you, Haines.
Steve - Fuck me? How about fuck you.
With rage, Michael punches Haines, knocking him down.
Steve - Ow, my nose!
Haines gets back up, he's bleeding from his nose, he is about to go after Michael, but he is stopped.
Norm - To get to him you have to go through me!
Tailana - And me.
Frank - Same here.
Haines looks at all of them, then he chuckles.
Steve - Well, Mikey, looks like you got your own posse here to defend you. The Filthy bunch.
Lamar - Get out of here, Bitch!
Haines smiles, turns around, and begins to walk away.
Steve - You'll come around, just wait and see. You'll come around.
Haines walks away from the area, everyone looks frustrated.
Trevor - Grr, I hate that fucking guy!
Lamar - I agree, let's go pop his ass, what do you say, Frank?
Frank - Man, shut up, Lamar. Damn.
Michael - Alright, everyone, gather around.
Everyone looks at Michael.
Michael - I know that we agreed to part ways once we get paid, but from what happened just now, we got a problem.
Frank - We have multiple problems, man. Forget Haines, what about that rich motherfucker, Devon Weston?
Lamar - Yeah, he still ain't paid us for those cars we took.
Gus - He probably won't now, since we blew up his airport hangar.
Trevor - Hey, hey, hey, I paid good money for those explosives.
Frank - And those Chinese motherfuckers are probably still gonna look for us.
Michael - Thank Trevor for that.
Trevor - Hey, those O'Neil fucks took what was rightfully mine.
They all begin arguing amongst each other.
Michael - Alright! Enough!
Everyone stops.
Michael - Look, it's obvious that we have a few things to take care of, so let's calm down, and fix this.
Trevor - You got an idea?
Michael - Yeah, so aside from Agent Haines, our other problems are Devon Weston, Chinese Gangsters.
Lamar - And that two-faced motherfucker, Stretch.
Frank - Man, I told you he couldn't be trusted from the beginning.
Michael - Alright! listen.
Now everyone is listening to Michael.
Michael - I think I got a solution to all of our problems, just give me time to plan it out, and we'll meet up soon. Got it?
Everyone nods.
Michael - Good. Now, go home, rest up.
End of Chapter Nine.
