Short About Rumble to Sudden Heartful Reunion

"What does that mean?" Yang asked getting a little angry.

Perfuma becomes worried and Vernal, still holding Myrtenaster, looks displease with how this girl who is supposed to be Raven's daughter is showing such disrespect to her and not even caring wanting to know her more.

"You don't want to get mixed up in all of that, Yang. Ozpin is not the man you think he is. And Qrow is a fool for trusting him. I would know, I trusted him once, too." Raven said.

"I don't care what you think." Yang glared.

"Your choice is your own. All I'm suggesting is that instead of getting wrapped up in something too big for you, for any of us, that maybe you take a moment to wonder if you're already where you belong." Raven stated.

"Save your breath. You can spout off whatever you want, but nothing is going to keep me from my sister." Yang determined with a fist.

"Well, aren't you stubborn." Raven commented.

"I get it from my mom." Yang responded making Raven narrow her eyes at her.

"Well, if that's how you feel, then it sounds like we're done here. Take her away, but she stays." Raven pointed at Perfuma.

"Excuse me?" Perfuma surprised to hear this, suddenly feeling like she is now at the center of attention from Yang.

"You just made yourself a new property to the tribe until we can sale you off, like the other one we took in not too long ago." Raven smirked.

"You're going to make her a slave?" Yang asked shock and angry at the same time.

"You know, I was really hoping you would see things in a more peaceful way since you're my friend's mother, but you have been unpleasant so far and I rarely dislike new people when I meet them." Perfuma glared softly at Raven with her hands sparkles of her magic.

"Oh shit, not that again. RUN!" Shady panicked as he and his group ran for their life.

"And don't even think that I can be easily taken just because I look weak." Perfuma said before using her plant magic again.

Suddenly grass and flowers started to appear around her spreading throughout the Branwen tribe camp surprising everyone even Raven, and vines pop out of the ground wrapping around the bandits trapping them in and taking away their weapons except Vernal who manages to dodge.

"You got to be fucking with me." Raven groaned annoy of the sight.

"Nature is with me to help fend against any rude people." Perfuma stated.

Unknown to Perfuma, her magic has drawn the attention of two icy princesses trap in the cage together and saw the grass and flowers growing around them.

"What is going on out there?" Weiss surprised.

"I'll tell you what's going on. It's Perfuma, that means she's here!" Frosta smiled and started freezing the cage with her hands.

"Come on, you're going to love meeting her." Frosta said.

"Alright, well, subtlety is out." Weiss sighed and brought out her Arma Gigas.

Frosta easily kicks the frozen bars of the cage out for them to escape and run to the center of the camp with the summon Semblance growing into its full big size, this also caught the attention of Yang and Perfuma when they spot her.

"Weiss?" Yang surprised.

"Yang?" Weiss surprised.

"Perfuma!" Frosta cheered.

"Frosta, I'm so glad to see you're okay!" Perfuma smiled and hugs

"Who is that and what is that?" Yang pointed at Frosta and the giant knight thing.

"Don't worry, they're both on our side. What are you doing here?" Weiss asked back.

"Well, Yang came here to ask her mom for help, but she is being on the refusing end." Perfuma explained gesturing towards Raven.

Weiss and Frosta gasp upon hearing that this tribe leader woman is the blonde girl's mother who kidnapped them after crashing onto the continent of the kingdom.

"What's your mom?" Frosta shocked.

"She kidnapped us!" Weiss revealed.

"You kidnapped them!" Yang shocked at her mom.

Suddenly a lightning bolt a struck close to the four young heroes spooking them a little and look to see that Vernal hold out her hand.

"Stop! Let just calm down and try not to draw any negative emotions that could bring in some Grimm." Vernal advised.

"Oh, so now you wish to talk things peacefully." Perfuma said narrowing her eyes at the bandit woman.

"But yes, I do believe now would be a good time for a peaceful talk." Perfuma smiled as she lets everyone go and gave them flowers, which they just drop them. Except for one female bandit.

"Thank you, Vernal." Raven thanked.

"Hey, that's Weiss's sword. Give it back!" Frosta demanded.

"Do it, if those two are who I think they are then it's best not to anger them any further." Raven ordered, Vernal didn't question her leader and threw the sword back to Weiss.

"Thank you. Not." Frosta mocked sticking out her tongue.

"You four, in my tent. Now!" Raven ordered.

"Why?" Yang asked.

"If you're really going after your sister, then you need to know the truth and know more about the Princesses of Etheria." Raven said before entering her tent.

The four friends are now alone together taking in the fact they have just been reunited in an unexpected, but still together, nonetheless.

"Hey, sorry about" Yang didn't finish her apology when Weiss just jumps onto her for a surprise hug as she drops her Myrtenaster.

"I missed you so much." Weiss sobbed smiling.

"I've missed you too." Yang smiled returning the embrace.

Frosta and Perfuma smiles seeing the two girls knowing each other sounding like they haven't seen each other in years, and now they can be together again even though it had to have been done within a dangerous place like a bandit's camp.

"Now, I have to say you got yourself a strong friend with a robot arm! Coolest thing I have ever seen! Does it have a flamethrower, can it hack onto computers, does it shoot out like a rocket and explodes?" Frosta asked exciting and looking closely at the robot arm.

"Whoa, easy there, tiny frosty. This one of a kind for me." Yang gently pushed Frosta away with a finger.

"Hey! I'll have you know I am 13 years old, and almost makes me an adult!" Frosta snapped with a glare.

"I'm glad to see you're still up and spirit as ever, Frosta." Perfuma smiled.

"Hold on a minute, did she just say you two Etheria princesses?" Yang asked.

"She did, but how do you know the word Etheria?" Perfuma asked surprise.

"Wait, didn't those Gods mention the princesses from the past came to this world a thousand years ago?" Frosta recalled.

"Yeah, I remember my dad used to tell me and Ruby the story about the Etheria princesses fighting a black witch and saving the world." Yang mentioned.

"I can't believe it's you guys, you're the princess heroes like in the story!" Yang surprised.

"Well, I believe it's more of our ancestors from that long ago, but it looks like we are continuing that legacy right now." Perfuma stated.

"And we're going to be awesome!" Frosta proclaimed with a smirk with an ice fist towards the air.

"I also heard about the story when I was a child. I didn't exactly believe her at first, but I saw her power and the things she can do without Dust or Aura, I started to believe more." Weiss explained.

"Man, I got so many questions right now." Yang said.

"And we'll be happy to answer, but we should probably go inside the tent since your mother invited us and something about telling us things." Perfuma reminded them of Raven.

"Do we have to? We can just make a break for it and leave this dump." Frosta gestured to the front gate.

"Like I said to my mom before the whole "grass power" and all, she can save us time." Yang said as she walks towards the tent.

"Can I at least punch her in the face?" Frosta asked.

"No." Weiss said making Frosta wince a bit.

"But if she happens to say some things and try anything against us, then you may." Weiss grinned as she follows Yang and Frosta grins with a chuckle.

"I hope that doesn't come to pass." Perfuma worried.

The four enter the big tent seeing Raven sitting at a small table seeing them come and gesture them to sit down close to her. Of course, they're keeping their guards up though Perfuma is being more positive not showing any guard and such as they sit down and Vernal pours them some tea.

"Oh, thank you very much. You must enjoy some teatime." Perfuma said to Vernal.

"Sure, after plunging a village or two." Vernal shrugged causing Perfuma to flinch from that respond.

"You can wait outside. Thank you." Raven commanded Vernal and she does.

"So, what's the "truth"?" Yang asked.

"You know, it's better when it's hot." Raven said after taking a cup.

"You know, you're really obnoxious." Weiss glared slightly at Raven.

"I have no idea what that word means, but I don't like you either." Frosta glared at Raven too.

"It means she is being extremely unpleasant which is making us dislike her more." Weiss explained the word to Frosta.

"Good, I was hoping for that." Frosta nodded.

"You should learn to keep your mind open to things, little child, otherwise you might get yourself killed." Raven advised.

"I'm 13!" Frosta yelled.

"Easy, Frosta. She is just trying to get to you." Weiss calmed the ice princess girl and Raven decided to get back on the subject.

"The truth is that "truth" is hard to come by. A story of victory for one person is a story of defeat for someone else. By now, your uncle has surely told Ruby and her friends plenty of stories." Raven guessed.

"Well, he's never given me a reason to doubt him before." Yang stated.

"And family should give each other more trust than doubt." Perfuma added.

"That doesn't mean those reasons don't exist." Raven said earning a glare from Yang.

"You know, you and your teammates might as well be the poster children for the Huntsman Academies. Your motives vary, but you all enrolled to try and make the world a better place. It's adorable." Raven mocked a little.

"It's what Huntsmen and Huntresses do." Yang reminded her of the things she was trained too.

"Not all of them. Some people are just in it for the money and the fame, but there's even more that are just looking to grow stronger. Your Uncle Qrow and I didn't attend Beacon to become Huntsmen, we did it to learn how to kill Huntsmen." Raven revealed.

This shock Yang and Weiss of hearing some who were once students like them were into the Hunter was because of learning how to kill one, Perfuma and Frosta are concern for their friends upon learning this unexpected truth.

"Daddy and Uncle left that part out, hm?" Raven asked even though she already knew the answer to that.

"Aside from the Grimm, Huntsmen were the only ones capable of ruining our raids and hunting us down. Our tribe needed a counterforce. And Qrow and I were the perfect age. The entrance exams were child's play compared to what we'd already been through. We were good. So good, that we caught the attention of Beacon's very own Headmaster, Professor Ozpin. Even after we were put on a team, I could tell he was keeping his eye on us. Back then, I thought it was because he knew, but it was Team STRQ he was interested in." Raven explained about her days in Beacon.

"So, you guys were famous at the school?" Frosta asked.

"Among the students and even the upperclassmen, yes. We get constant attention from Ozpin, gave us extra training missions, turning a blind eye whenever we happened to break the rules and get into more trouble than we should've. Sound familiar?" Raven asked Yang and Weiss.

Yang and Weiss glance at each other remembering back all the days of their first year at Beacon Academy to go through everything that happened, and how Ozpin would always do them favors every now and then just like in Raven's days.

"What's your pint?" Yang asked.

"How much do you know about Professor Ozpin? About his past?" Raven answered with a question.

"Answering that with a question? That's so confusing." Frosta exclaimed.

"He was... a prodigy. One of the youngest headmasters to be appointed to a school." Weiss remembered.

"That's all you know about the guy?" Frosta asked.

"It's not like there were any other important information about him than the one I just said." Weiss said.

"Because that's how he planned it. Because the man you know as Ozpin designed those schools and has followers inside every academy on Remnant that are loyal to him and no one else." Raven revealed shocking Yang and Weiss.

"That doesn't make any sense! How could he have...? No. Why would someone even do that?" Yang asked.

"Because old man Oz has a great and terrible secret. One that could spread fear across the world. One that he eventually entrusted to our team, and once I knew, there was no going back. I needed to know more, but with every new discovery I made, the more horrifying the world became." Raven explained with her eyes looking angry.

"Does this secret have anything to do with the black witch Yang mentioned from the story?" Perfuma asked after taking her tea.

"Yes, her name is Salem, the Master of the Grimm. She can't be stopped, she can't be reasoned with, and she will not rest until Humanity crumbles at her feet." Raven warned with seriousness.

The four young friends become shocked of hearing that someone wants to wipe out an entire civilization no matter what. Frosta and Perfuma have dealt with Horde Prime because he wants to "cleanse" the universe in perfection but and just destroy what he could not control, meaning they have a fierce enemy at hand.

"You know, you three haven't even touched your tea. The flower girl at least drinks hers." Raven said.

"Yes, it's quite wonderful despite the dangerous atmosphere." Perfuma complimented.

But then Yang stands up looking down at her mom.

"Why should we believe any of this?" Yang asked.

"Now you're catching on. So far, you've done nothing but accept what others tell you, but you need to question everything." Raven said as she stands up and the two stare face-to-face before she turns around.

"Otherwise, you'll end up just as blind as Qrow... and your fool of a father." Raven proclaimed.

This made Yang angry grits her teeth and smashes Raven's teacup with her fist and Ember Celica, the bandit leader sees this and smiles.

"Don't you dare talk about my family like that!" Yang shouted in rage shocking the others, then Vernal back came in with her weapon pointed at her.

"You need to calm down." Vernal advised, but suddenly found her feet frozen by Frosta freezing part of the floor.

"Maybe you should take your own advice." Frosta smirked.

"Frosta, no. Yang, please calm down." Perfuma pleaded.

"She's right." Weiss agreed.

"Listen to your friends, Yang. Your teammates never let you down before." Raven said.

"You don't know the first thing about my teammates! About me! You were never there! You LEFT US! Why?!" Yang yelled then hung her head in sadness.

"I know more than you realize. Not just about you, and not just what I've been told, but things I've seen with my own eyes. I know the Grimm have a leader, I know people who can come back from the dead, I know that magic is real, and these two girls already prove you that much." Raven gestured to the two princesses from Etheria.

"And Gods too, we met two who brought us here." Perfuma added earning a glare from Raven that she didn't care.

"You said Tai told you all about my Semblance. Well, I doubt he ever told you what Oz did to my brother and me." Raven gestured them to follow her as she exits the tent.

"Better go see it for yourself." Vernal said and they left.

"Hey, get this ice too." Vernal demanded.

"They'll thaw, unless you have one of those fire Dust on you." Frosta smirked and leaves an angry Vernal.

They exit the tent seeing Raven is nowhere to be found which upset Yang and also making her sad.

"Did she just ditch us?" Frosta asked.

"No, I can tell she really wanted to show us something from her eyes." Perfuma assured.

"Whatever, I'll feel better once I get her to take me to Ruby." Yang said.

"It's okay if... you're not okay." Weiss comforted Yang.

"Hey, what's that bird?" Frosta pointed at the bird flying close to them.

"A raven?" Weiss puzzled.

"I've... seen that bird before." Yang remembered.

"Maybe it's your mom's." Perfuma guessed.

Perfuma is about to know how right she was as the raven came flying towards then and suddenly transformed into the woman Raven right before their eyes making them shock.

"How… did you do that?" Yang asked.

"Well, I could explain it to you..." Raven took out her sword and slash the air to make a portal. "Or you could ask your uncle."

"You're letting us go?" Yang asked shock.

"I'm giving you a choice. Stay here, with me, and I'll answer all your questions and more. We can have a fresh start. Or... you can go back to Qrow and join Ozpin's impossible war against Salem and meet the same fate as so many others. But can you really go back to trusting someone that's kept so much from you?" Raven asked giving her daughter the choice to make.

"All I care about is making sure my sister is safe." Yang glared and went to get her bike.

"Well, I know for sure that I'm not staying here with you creeps and neither is Weiss because she's too cool for you all to handle." Frosta stated making Weiss smile.

"I'll be going with them because I have a feeling this Ozpin is the one those Gods told us to find, plus you have not exactly been a nice host." Perfuma said.

Yang got her bike as everyone is about to enter the portal as Raven address her daughter one more time.

"Yang. If you side with your uncle, I may not be as kind the next time we meet..." Raven warned.

"You weren't kind this time either." Yang said before she and the others enter the portal.

"I know…" Raven said.

"You know you're only hurting yourself." Perfuma said who decided to stay just to have a say with Raven.

"I'm a tough woman, I've been through Grimm attacks and Hunters." Raven said.

"I'm not talking about fighting, I'm talking about your heart because when I look at your eyes, I can see fear and sadness. Someone who just wants to run from anything that is too much to handle." Perfuma said.

"You dare call me a coward!" Raven angered.

"It may sound like it, but I can tell your heart wipes for what you truly feel for your daughter. That you've been ignoring it, like a coward." Perfuma scolded before entering the portal.

Raven clutches her hand on the sword Omen and shakes from that naïve girl could just talk to her like that.
