Welcome back to another round of LoCG people, last time things got very spicy didn't they? That chapter was… interesting to say the least to write. We all can say Index got very h*ny there XD, not sure if it felt out of character though. Anyways, review time!

Whwsms:{Not only is Kami-yan taken, but he nearly lost his virginity too!?

If Index hormones or Touma's investigation don't shatter the illusion of her 'perfect' world. Then the droves of jealous girls out for blood will XD}

BlueJack22:{So it certainly seems, girl has it out for him… and not in the violent way.}

5had0wHand:{looks like our intrepid detective has had enough.

She's certainly become devious hasn't she?

Actually I made it fairly clear the conclusion she had come to on that, though it will be revisited}

Fencer29:{oh please we've seen him do much more ridiculous things…. And it wouldn't even be the first time he's jumped from that dorm floor… fucking OT1 was the first time he did it. So, take it how you will cause it is possible Index's little world would work that way.}

Mr?:{Main man keeps giving! Glad to see ya

Agressive Index was very, very fun to mess with, nudging her down this path and having her go this far was also fun. I mean there is nothing low key about her yan-status now. Cute but scary, basically sums up devourer dex in a very very watered down sense.

I think it was clear Touma was referring to the Ra*e

Yes… he's done crazier and it's not the first time he's leapt from his dorm... not even the tallest thing he's fallen from and survive.

While It felt a little off for him to say, I couldn't see him not pointing it out in that situation.}

Anyways you've waited long enough, time for the next chap, remember constructive criticism is both encouraged and desired. With that out of the way, let this tale of an infinity commence once again!

Chapter 52

Fractures in the Library

Kamijou ran through the streets of Academy city gasping. He hadn't stopped since he leapt from his dorm balcony. Finally beginning to slow down, Kamijou came to a stop in the middle of District 7. Leaning over hands on his knees catching his breath.

Sighing, Kamijou looked back in the direction of his dorm room. He really should have been a bit more tactful. Running off like that was wrong of him, Index would be upset. Sure she was being a little forceful with the whole, ripping his shirt off and all. But she was new to the emotions she was feeling.

She had certainly made her feelings clear to Kamijou. With the Kiss two days ago, and the date this morning... or yesterday. It was quite obvious she was deeply infatuated with him. She had never experienced love like this as far as Kamijou knew, so she wasn't exactly gonna realize how to handle it.

While most people would consider Kamijou's reaction to Index's attempted sexual assault reasonable. Kamijou felt he had handled it all wrong, he should have just admonished her like he had with Lessar.

He thought back to that horny wannabe succubus of a middle schooler and shivered. He really didn't want to know how or why such a young girl had that much of a ravenous sexual appetite.

But Index wasn't like Lessar, she was only just experiencing these feelings. Kamijou felt it was his duty as her almost adoptive older brother to teach her restraint. Freaking out and panicking whenever she tried to display her affection would only make things worse.

Because of how far removed she was to societal norms. Index probably didn't know or understand why her actions had been wrong. Or at least Kamijou wanted to believe that, the alternative wasn't something he could accept.

He sighed once more and went to turn around and head back. But an oddly familiar shiver went down his spine. Danger, he felt his eyes drawn to the alleyway next to him. Cornering a young boy who was cowering in fear, was a group of skill out delinquents. He had bruises and injuries, but the delinquents were still advancing on him.

Kamijou felt his blood beginning to boil in anger. Who the hell did these guys think they are? Ganging up on a poor helpless boy like that. They were no different from the delusional espers who abused their powers. Kamijou felt himself walk towards them, fist twitching and teeth clenched. "What are you guys doing, tormenting this poor kid" He spoke slowly, keeping his voice steady waiting for an answer.

The lead delinquent raised his eyebrow looking up "Ah?" The shadows of the alleyway kept Kamijou's face hidden as the clouds blocked the moon. "You have a problem with it squirt?" They flicked their wrist revealing a switch blade. "This little bastard had mocked us, so we're teaching him a lesson. Now scram kid before I choose to teach you a lesson as well"

Snickers rolled around the others in the group. It was as if they expected Kamijou to back down.

"What about it?" Kamijou's words cut them off. "He mocked you, so what? Doesn't give you the right to beat the shit out of him." he gestured to the boy on the ground. "Look at him!, he's cowering on the ground unable to cry. Are you proud of yourselves?" Kamijou asked in a threatening tone.

One of the delinquents began squinting at Kamijou. As the other stepped back nervously. Their leader however, only held his chin in thought for a moment. "You know what?" he smirked "I think I am!" He gestured his hands out broadly. "I'm making damn sure nobody is ever gonna fuck with me. So, what if I have to break a few eggs to do so?" he pointed his switchblade at Kamijou. "I certainly ain't gonna be fussed about it, what are you gonna do about it, hero?" he mocked.

Kamijou closed his eyes as his fist clenched in anger. "It's people like you who give level zeros such a bad rep" He raised his head, eyes burning with cold anger. "People like you make me sick!" He growled, stepping forward. The moon peaked out from the clouds illuminating his face. The way in which it reflected off his face gave him the sinister feel of a snarling dragon as his fist was raised.

As soon as the light hit him revealing his face. The first delinquent swore, eyes wide. "Shit! Boss! Thats fucking Kamijou Touma!" Instantly their leader's smirk fell as his face paled.

But Kamijou was already moving, not even registering that he had been recognized. He had already closed in on the first delinquent and slammed his fist against his face. He rotated counterclockwise, throwing them into a delinquent that had tried to attack Kamijou from the side.

Pulling up a metal trash-can lid, he pulled himself behind it as two gunshots were fired. The bullets pierced the metal but were thrown off their trajectory merely skinning Touma's shoulder and abdomen.

Grimacing slightly, he charged forward smashing the lid into the delinquent who shot the bullets. knocking them out, he quickly threw the lid at the leader who had tried to sneak up behind him with his switchblade.

Grabbing the handgun that had dropped he ejected the magazine. Throwing the Magazine and casing in opposite directions. Kamijou didn't even think about how or why he knew to do that. Just followed his instincts, the leading delinquent swore, after seeing their best weapon neutralized so easily.

He wouldn't be able to get both the gun and magazine without Kamijou getting in a blow. The two parts were on opposing ends of the alleyway and Kamijou was right in front of him. Charging forward with the switchblade, the delinquent leader tried to stab Kamijou.

Merely pivoting on his heel Kamijou kneed him causing them to stumble back a moment. "If you think that you have a right to bully the weak just because you're a level 0. If you think you're any better than those higher level espers who abuse their power. If you think you're justified to beat on an innocent boy just because he had teased you. And if you think you can sully the names of people like Hamazura Shiage just because you suffered."

Kamijou pulled back his right fist stepping forward as the Delinquent tried to recover. Eyes wide in fear as Kamijou's fist came towards him. "Then I'll shatter that self righteous illusion of yours" his fist slammed into the delinquent's face. They smacked into the wall and fell over, unconscious.

Kamijou panted lightly, catching his breath, turning to the boy on the ground. He reached out his hand to them.

"You should really be more careful around here at night. Guys like that are all over the place in this city." Kamijou smiled softly at the boy as he pulled him to his feet. "You alright?" he asked.

The boy nodded meekly "y-yes… would have been worse if it wasn't for you." His voice had a Scandinavian accent. Making Kamijou question if he was even from the city.

Now able to get a good look at the boy Kamijou could confirm he was from a forign country.

The boy was around 14 with reddish brown hair and gray eyes. He appeared Caucasion, but his eyes were more narrow. He wore a casual t-shirt and pants and seemed to be holding a book. But not a schoolbook or anything. It looked more like a hastily put together original story of sorts.

It was titled Those who seek truth, and was being clutched tightly to the boy's chest. Like a precious child that he had been guarding.

"Th-thank you...K-Kamijou-kun… is it?" he said nervously.

Kamijou took a step back a moment, suspicious. "How did you know my name?" he asked.

The boy glanced back nervously "One of the delinquents shouted it earlier" he looked back at Kamijou who was blinking in shock.

"R..Really?" Kamijou asked hesitantly

Nodding, the boy answered "he looked scared of you" causing Kamijou to slump over.

Kamijou shook his head "what kind of reputation have I developed for that kind of reaction?" he asked himself, exasperated. He sighed and turned to the boy "well at least you're not as bad off as you could have been. What district are you from?" he asked the unfamiliar boy.

The boy looked a bit nervous as he shifted in place. "I'm… not actually from any of the districts. Me and my class are just here visiting for some promotional thing. But we're staying at a hotel in district 3!" the boy said as he walked with Kamijou.

He became less nervous as he continued to talked to the spiky haired boy. "I just ended up wandering around because I was bored when-" the boy paused as his stomach growled. growing slightly embarrassed.

Kamijou sighed as he smiled "Hey, how about I get you something to eat, then I'll lead you back to your hotel?" He offered the boy.

The boy nodded with a slight blush from the embarrassment. "Y-yeah that sounds like it would be good. Thanks Kamijou-kun!" He beamed at the highschool boy.

Leading the way to Josephs, Kamijou spoke to the boy. "So since you know my name, you mind telling me yours?" he asked.

The boy shook his head "It's Rolf, Rolf Ansgar, nice to make your acquaintance Kamijou Touma" he held out his hand.

Shaking Rolf's hand Kamijou thought for a moment. "That's… Norwegian isn't it?" he asked to his own shock. How did he know that it was Norwegian? The way the boy pronounced it, the phrasing and that roll of the tongue. How did he, Kamijou Touma, who couldn't read a stop sign in a foreign country. Know that Rolf's name was Norwegian in origin?

Eyes lighting up, the boy nodded excitedly. "Yeah! It means, 'Legendary Wolf's Spear of the gods' or… something along those lines" he explained with a smile.

Wolf

God

Spear

Those three words resonated in Kamijou. Almost like they were connected to something important to him.

For a moment Kamijou could picture a large gold spear. It was held in a deceptively delicate looking hand. Long Blond hair and an eyepatch, light spilling from the spear's tip. A black void, with that spear acting like a lighthouse in the darkness.

"Huh, that's an interesting name" Kamijou said "So what are you doing in Academy City Rolf?" the spiky haired boy asked.

Rolf looked to the side and shrugged. "After world war three, Academy City invited multiple schools from different countries to visit as part of a promotional thing. Hoping to get more potential students or something. My school was among those chosen as part of that. My class and a few others were brought here to see the benefits of going to school here. Just in case we wanted to go here after we graduated" he smiled sheepishly. "As you can tell, I got a little too excited."

The two of them reached Josephs where they sat down at one of the tables. The boy certainly lived up to his name of Rolf. He ate a lot, Kamijou couldn't help but feel fond of the boy. He reminded Kamijou of a young male version of Index.

Kamijou realized his parents may have been right, he wouldn't mind having a younger brother.

"I can't get enough of this city! I mean sure appearance wise it's not too different." Rolf said as he ripped a chunk of meat off some chicken. "But it's the small differences that make it so interesting!"

He almost sounded like a kid in a candy store with the way he gushed on. All the while ripping into his meal with such voracity that he did look like a wolf pup.

Taking a bite out of a sandwich the boy continued. "The little drum cleaning robots, the blimp overhead. Kids and students using powers in public like it's normal!" he drank a large glass of soda while he spoke. "It's like every kid's comic-book dream! There's never a dull moment!" he smiled excitedly as he finished his 7th plate.

Kmijou payed for the boy's meal and they left. "Academy City isn't as glamorous as you think, but it's home for me" he said with a soft smile as they made their way to district 3. "What's school like for you?" Kamijou asked curiously.

Rolf raised an eyebrow as he looked at Kamijou oddly. "Is it different here? When did you first come to Academy City?" he asked.

"10 years ago, shortly after my first year of school." Kamijou only knew that because his father had told him. But Rolf didn't need to know about his memory loss.

Sighing Rolf looked ahead "Well… it was mostly boring really, some fun events, sure. School festivals, field trips and the usual school things. But they weren't ever really too exciting or, so I think" His uncertainty caught Kamijou's attention.

"Wait… what do you mean by 'or, so I think' you remember doing them right?" he asked the boy confused.

The boy looked a little scared as he glanced around. "Not.. exactly" he began "I know I did certain things, but I don't properly remember them. It's like someone just clicked the 'skip' button on a portion of my life. Like it was just part of some movie they were watching"

Kamijou felt his heart beat quicker, the boy's words were hauntingly similar to Misaka's own on the bridge a few days back. "The mental manipulation isn't limited to Academy City alone!?" he muttered to himself "What are you doing Index.."

An odd glitter was in the boy's eyes as he smiled slightly. "So… you too huh" he said "You know you did something, but don't remember it?" Rolf asked. It slightly unsettled Kamijou the way he looked at him.

Sweating Kamijou gulped, as they stopped walking "Not… exactly, but it's similar" he started. "I remember what i've done, but..." he shivered. "For some reason I feel like massive chunks of my life are missing. Like I was cut from some point in my future and just inserted here." Shaking his head Kamijou sighed "N-nevermind I probably sound craz-"

"No… you don't" Rolf Interrupted shaking his head; however the glitter in his eyes was unsettling. "But this is very Interesting, Noone I've asked that question has given that answer before" His smile had grown slightly "They all shared the same experience as me and my class. They'd know what they did during certain events. but they never could actually remember it." He stepped closer to Kamijou "and they all share the same story. They only began to truly remember things… after world war three… what makes you so different Imagine Breaker?"

Kamijou's breathing caught and he stepped back from the boy. Only two types of people called him by that title. Magic sider's and espers who were his allies. Or people who intend to harm him

And this boy definitely wasn't the former so-

Before Kamijou could react, Rolf stepped forward and grasped his hands. He gazed into his eyes with that unsettling smile. It almost seemed like he was trying to find something in them.

"Stay Away from him Touma! He's dangerous!" Index's voice came from nearby. Kamijou pulled away from Rolf, but Rolf didn't seem upset, no, he looked curious.

Index was walking towards them from behind on the sidewalk. The moonlight reflected off her in a sinister manner. Her white teeth bared threateningly, canines almost seeming unnaturally sharp as she glared at the boy. Rolf merely eyed her curiously as he stood still.

"Is he a magician? Index" Kamijou asked as he stepped back to guard her.

The boy's eyes widened slightly "Index?... so you're the one"

Index shook her head "No… but in some ways he's worse, some amateur who founded a cult." She growled "A cult he was trying to drag you into Touma!" She grasped Kamijou's hand and squeezed lightly. "Stay away from him… okay?"

Even as Index led Kamijou away, Rolf's smile didn't fade. He looked at Kamijou's pocket and tapped his temple. Before turning and leaving, waving back at them. Kamijou looked puzzled but shrugged and turned around.

...

As they entered the dorm Kamijou lowered his hands as he shut the door. Blinking as Index moved over to the bed. Kamijou noticed something in his pocket that wasn't there before. Had rolf placed something in there when he wasn't looking. Was that what he meant when he had looked at his pocket?

Looking over at Index Kamijou smiled sheepishly "H-hey Index?" Index looked at him blinking. "I... Kinda need to use the bathroom real quick"

Index eyed him suspiciously but sighed "just don't lock yourself in there to sleep" she said, flopping back onto the bed.

Kamijou nodded before entering the bathroom. Sitting on the toilet he pulled what appeared to be a note from his pocket.

Opening it, the note read 'If you're still curious, go to Josephs in the morning. Seat closest to the entrance. Ask for 'Those who seek the truth'' Biting his lip nervously Kamijou thought. Index had told him to avoid them, but he felt the risk was one he needed to take. He had to know just how far Index's influence extended.

He'd even make a deal with the devil themself if it was to save Index.

Touma exited the bathroom shortly after flushing the toilet. After making sure he had fallen asleep, Index snuck her way out, making her way through Academy City. Index followed a specific mana-signature. An amateur's one, someone who had gone under Index's radar. Someone who had introduced a flaw into her perfect reality.

Index had made this world, but she had chosen not to know every little detail. Otherwise she'd be unable to enjoy it with Touma as much. It would have been boring for her to know everything from the start. So, she had restricted her knowledge so she could enjoy it with her human, her Touma!

She had made sure certain events still happened correctly up to a certain point. But she hadn't managed every tiny detail in the world.

But because of her negligence, she might lose Touma entirely. Everything had gone just the way she had wanted. Touma, her Touma, her Understander had begun to grow closer to her. Yes, he was still suspicious of her and knew she had been manipulating minds. But he had grown more comfortable around her. Even being more intimate with her.

And then that… that pathetic… mortal had dared to tempt him away from her!

The worst part of it all, was that Index knew he only could because of her. Having allowed herself knowledge on Rolf. Index felt even more furious, yes she had made sure events went the way they should. But.. there was one, small, tinsy tiny difference.

Stiyl Magnus did not exist in this world.

He had died doing what he did best, killing. Index truly despised Stiyl, so she had made sure he didn't exist in her perfect world. He had tried to kill Touma, all because he was jealous. So Index hated him, and she would kill him.

But that hatred had caused her to slip up, she had forgotten just how influential he was. Himegami was a good example of that. Having forgotten about her, Index had forgotten to make sure she lived. Without Stiyl, Himegami had died in Mishawa Cram School. Touma had failed to reach her in time and she had been lost. Because of this, when Kamijou had asked about her. Index had to quickly alter past events to make sure she survived.

Rolf Ansgar was a similar situation to that. He was really just some nobody at first. Some kid who lived in the Germanic areas. But he had lived in a town that a dangerous Magician had hidden in.

A magician Stiyl had taken care of.

Sure, the magician had still been defeated, Index made sure of it. But he had not been defeated in that specific town. And even had he been, all it took was for him to be confronted on the wrong street.

When Stiyl had fought him, he had put up a people clearing field. It caused people to subconsciously avoid the area. Such a thing might not seem too important. But that very act could influence chance meetings.

And that... is what had happened with Rolf. Butterfly effect stated that, a butterfly flapping its wings in the bahamas. Could lead to a hurricane sweeping it's way across the pacific.

Stiyl's people clearing field had lead to Rolf meeting the girl who'd eventually become his girlfriend. Yet, even though the very event that had led to their meeting, didn't happen. Rolf had still met her, and he had still asked her to be his girlfriend.

Index had only cared about things directly connected to her and Touma. So she had neglected things relating to others. This had caused a contradiction in history. A contradiction Rolf had noticed. He had realized his past didn't quite add up. That, despite never having taken the right turn to have run into her. He still met the girl he had fallen for, and thus the butterfly's wings had flapped.

Rolf's revelation had led him to create the cult, Those seeking the truth. A group of people who wanted to find the reason behind the contradiction in their pasts.

Index had known of them before now, but she didn't see them as a threat then. Just some odd little quirk of her world. They easily could have always existed there the whole time. And it wouldn't be too hard to convince Touma that they did. They never had ever played any major role in her and Touma's lives. So, it wouldn't contradict what he and others knew. They had stayed on the internet in small social groups.

She hadn't expected that one of their members would get invited to Academy City. Let alone their founder. She didn't know, because she had chosen not to know. But now she chose to know, she chose to know all about Rolf.

And she was livid

Rolf had known about Kamijou before he had come to Academy City. Having stepped into the world of magic shortly after founding his cult. In doing so he learned so much he wouldn't have otherwise.

He hadn't ended up in Academy city by chance either. He had planned it, once his school had been chosen to come to Academy City. His class had made sure they were chosen to represent their school. Every… single… one, all of them were part of his cult, even some of the teachers were.

He had specifically come to Academy City for Touma. He wanted to see if Imagine Breaker would lead him to the truth he had sought. So, he had ensured he ended up in situations where Touma would save him. It had taken him a few tries, but he had succeeded in the end.

And he had found his truth

He had found his god

Index stopped in front of a building in district 3. Standing a little ways in front of her was Rolf. Pausing, he turned around, the unsettling smile plastered to his face as his eyes glittered in fanaticism.

"So… what do I owe this honor to… Index?" Rolf asked her.

Growling Index glared "You're a threat to Touma… and my world."

His smile didn't waver in fact "If you so say, oh great Index, creator of this world." Index felt her eyes widen in shock as the boy knelt to one knee.

Disgust filled her being "What?" Index growled

Rolf's head was lowered as he began to speak. "Anyone who has even dipped their toes into the world of magic knows of you, Index." his smile widened on his face as he continued. "The Index of forbidden books, there's a reason you're so sought for. You hold the knowledge to become a god. Which is why you are thought to be unable to refine mana."

His head slowly rose, a dark devotion clear as day in his eyes. "But if you can manipulate minds, you can use magic. If you can use magic, you can refine mana, and if you can refine mana." His eyes met hers "you can manipulate the very world to your whim. You are not human anymore Index," he shook, but not in fear.

No he shook in pure glee, gone was the gentle boy whom Touma had saved from a group of delinquents. Taking his place was the cult leader Rolf Ansgar, a dangerous boy who led Those Seeking the Truth.

"No… You are a god, and because Kamijou Touma the Imagine Breaker. Is the only person who knows his truth." His eyes glittered in twisted excitement. "That can only mean you created this world for him," he sighed for a moment looking wistfully into the distance

"Me and my friends never asked for much you know." He seemed almost nostalgic "We enjoyed our time together, our lives at school, the festivals and projects. I know we had fun even if I never truly remembered." He turned his gaze back to Index, the smile slowly returning.

"But then one day me and my girlfriend were chatting when she asked a simple question." His smile faltered a moment "She asked me 'Remember how we met?' It was meant to be light hearted fond question. But it had sent shivers down my spine as I realized. I didn't in fact, I didn't remember anything. I knew, but I didn't remember, I had asked my girlfriend if she did. Fearing that I was losing it, when you know what? She didn't truly remember either. She knew how we met, but didn't remember it."

The boy began to speak quicker and more confidently as the smile grew once more.

"Once we found that contradiction in our lives. The impossible meeting of ours, we asked our friends. They didn't remember either, so we asked teachers and strangers on the internet." Rolf's grin once more grew to what it was before. Broadening wider if it was even possible "They all said the same thing"

They had all had the same experiences, yes Index knew this.

"And with my girlfriend and close friends we made our group! We did this in search of the truth, we are the ones who seek the truth." Rolf's words continued to spill out, further irritating Index.

She already knew all of this! Why was he telling her?

"After founding our group we began searching for the truth wherever we could. Conspiracies, crackpot theories, so called mystics and psychics." He listed them off on his hand as he spoke. "Eventually we came across magic, and learned of you." Shaking his head in some weird form of embarrassment. Rolf continued "We were blind fools at the time for not seeing the truth right in front of us."

Index felt her heart beginning to harden. Her blood boiling as Rolf didn't stop. Her hands began to twitch as veins pulsed on her skin.

"And then, World War Three happened, and we learned of Imagine Breaker"

The sound of cracking was heard as Index's feet broke through the pavement. The cracks slowly spread as she grinded her teeth. A low growl sounding from her, Index could hardly believe what she was hearing from this sick bastard.

"We thought that because of his hand that denies all supernatural things. That he could lead us to the truth." He sighed frowning "But we couldn't catch him in russia," A third time the grin returned "But then academy city gave us the perfect opportunity!"

He giggled in contrast to the boy who had spoken to Kamijou before.

"Once we learned my school had been chosen to be one of those allowed to visit. My group rigged the votes, we ensured that my class would be the one representing us." he spoke with pride and devotion.

He face forward once more, the passion in his eyes clear and disgusting.

"Then, once we arrived we devised a plan!" His eyes seemed to twitch as words kept spilling from his mouth. "On the day as we toured we asked questions searching for Kamijou actively. Hoping to find where he lives, visited, or when to school"

He closed his eyes and chuckled as he continued to smile.

"But the real genius was saved for the night. I suggested that I'd go out and get into scrapes" Pulling up one of his sleeves he revealed a set of bruises. "I'd intentionally say things that could be taken as an insult and start fights" Pulling up a pant leg a set of scrapes and cuts could be seen. "All in an attempt to get Kamijou to try and save me." He pulled his shirt up revealing gashes and scars. "It took a few tries, but eventually, Kamijou Touma came to save me, Just like they said he would."

If she wasn't so disgusted by him. Index would have been impressed at Rolf's dedication and perseverance. But right now it only made her anger increase, the air fluctuated and distorted around her. Gauntlets flickering into view on her hands as her eyes flashed between green and purple.

Rolf lay his hands forward crossing his arms in an 'x' before her. "And just as we hoped he led me to the truth. He led me to You" Lifting his hands upward before his face, Rolf continued. "We lived in fear that we were fake beings with false pasts. And while that is true I now know that it's so much more!"

He threw his hand out as he stood, that smile now crazed as he shook.

"We are not fake beings, we are real living people! We and this world were created out of love, true unadulterated love!" He raised his arms upward. "Love of the boy Kamijou enough to create a whole reality with real people. The Truth could never be so beautiful!" Rolf shouted as he gazed at the sky.

Turning forward again he once more spoke to Index.

"So, Index she who holds reality in the palm of her hand. Before I dedicate myself to you, is there a name you'd prefer?" the creepy smile was frozen on his face now as he waited for her to answer.

Index grit her teeth as she shook in anger "I don't care… I hate you… even the gods I've eaten didn't piss me off this much..." her head hung low as she said that.

But Rolf merely had a look of clarity "ah The Great Devourer, who's lustful hunger created our world. But could just as easily strip it away!" he moved his hand back to his side, the back always facing Index. "Then I Rolf Ansgar, leader of those seeking the truth" His face became serious as he spoke to the air. "Rename our group in honor of you… We are the church of the Great Devourer"

Pulling his hands out he spread them before him. His former crazed look was replaced by a calm and calculated gaze.

"So, oh Great Devourer Index I Rolf Ansgar, who's name echoes the meaning of Fenrir. Fully, and truly devote my church and myself to you, who holds reality in the palm. of her hand, how may we serve you?" Rolf said as a beep was heard.

Index's rage spiked further, Rolf disgusted her. That sick twisted mortal was actually worshiping her. All she wanted to do was live peacefully with her human, Her Touma. She wanted to live a life with him that was as normal as he would.

But Rolf threatened that, if Rolf was allowed to live. If he was so much as allowed to continue to exist. He would threaten that, his devotion to her would make him spread word of her. He would create a church and bring more to worship her. Touma would learn the truth and she would lose him. He would grow distant from her as he continued to try and stop her. All in order to save her from herself.

Mind clouded by anger, Index felt herself speak. "Disappear, Rolf Ansgar!"

Even as the last word was spoken. The boy once known as Rolf still smiled "As you wish, but our devotion shall never disappear Great Devourer"

And so it was, That boy who's name held the meaning of Fenrir.

Ceased to exist.
