Liger Castle/Camel Castle

A week later...

Gavin sighed as he and the rest of First Squad sat in their briefing room, waiting patiently for Sonia to arrive so they could begin their meeting.

'Wonder what's taking her so long?' He thought. 'Maybe her hair?' An image of Sonia with different hair styles appeared in his mind. 'Or her clothes?' Images of Sonia with different outfits on appeared as well. 'Guess we'll find out when she gets here.'

A few more minutes went by before Sonia arrived. She had her head down, a sad look on her face, which made him wonder what was wrong. He also noticed that she had a small zit right below her beauty mark.

"Mystique Sonia! You're late!" Mr. No Hands yelled with frustration.

"It's not my fault," Sonia lied, quickly looking around for something or someone to blame. Her eyes then landed on Yaksha, who was in his customary place on the top of her head. "It's Yaksha's fault."

Gavin raised an eyebrow at that, while Yaksha made a sound that sounded like "Huh?" as Sonia lifted him from her head and quickly tied his long arms together over his head in a tight knot while saying, "Bad Yaksha! Bad bad, naughty naughty, bad!" before placing him on the table, which surprised everyone.

"This is a bit harsh Sonia, don't you think?" Gavin said as he picked Yaksha up and began the slow process of untying him.

Before Sonia could respond, Mr. No Hands yelled out, "You're the naughty one! Your attitude is horrid and awful!"

'I kinda have to agree with him,' Gavin thought as he finished untying Yaksha's arms, while Sonia looked at Mr. No Hands in surprise. 'Her attitude does need to be fixed. How are we supposed to work as a team if one of our team members doesn't have the right attitude?'

Mr. No Hands continued scolding Sonia. "Not only that, but you a-"

"Mail time for Mystique Sonia!" The mail man announced from outside the room, interrupting Mr. No Hands.

"Huh?" Mr. No Hands said as First Squad started hearing a rumbling noise coming from outside the room.

All the side hatches to the room then flung open as a wave of gifts and letters, almost all marked with a red heart, poured into the room. They continued to pour in for several seconds, before the wave ceased and the hatches all closed, leaving First Squad sitting in a shallow pool of packages that were all for Mystique Sonia.

'Yeesh! That is a lot of packages, and I don't think I will ever get used to seeing one person receive so many every day,' Gavin thought as he watched Sonia pick up a wrapped gift.

"Looks like some people think I'm more adorable than awful," Sonia said as she bent down and picked up a letter sealed with a heart.

"Ahem," She said, clearing her throat while making sure they were all paying attention. "'Mystique Sonia, I am a driver from the Tank Army. Whenever I see you, my heart feels like a golden butterfly bathed in the bubbly soap of Love. If you-"

*GRRRRRROOOOOOWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLL!*

Sonia immediately turned around, an angry look on her face. "Who interrupted my love letter?!" She asked, pointing at the letter for emphasis.

"My belly!" Mighty Ray responded, pointing at it. "My belly is very hungry."

*GRRRRROOOOOWWWWWLLLLL!*

As his belly growled again, Mighty Ray clutched it, trying to ease his hunger pains.

'That's why I went out to the woods earlier and had a snack before coming to the meeting Mighty Ray,' Gavin thought with a smile before he grimaced. 'I didn't want to deal with hunger pains. They are NOT fun to have.'

"Who cares about your belly!" Sonia stated with a frown and her hands on her hips, leaning towards Ray before leaning back and raising her letter into the air. "I'm reading my love letters."

'Yeesh Sonia, you really are having a bad attitude,' Gavin thought as everyone else's bellies began to hungrily growl, while Yaksha started reaching out to Sonia, wanting to pop the zit on her face.

"Everyone tell your tummies to be quiet!" Sonia ordered, causing Jumpy to lower his ears and Mr. No Hands to look at her with a pleading expression.

"Mystique Sonia, only you have the magical power to feed us," Mr. No Hands said, while Sonia slapped away Yaksha's outstretched hand.

"Fine," She replied with a sigh as she tossed out one round seed onto the floor and then spat on it. The seed had hardly grown into a plant with a magic bun on the top before the rest of First Squad, minus Gavin, reached out and took a piece of it, leaving only the stalk behind.

As they enjoyed the bun, Sonia then took Yaksha and placed him back on her head. When Mr. No Hands finished eating his piece, he turned to her with a questioning gaze. "Where are the rest of the buns?!" He asked.

"Oh, I'm only growing one today," She replied as she adjusted Yaksha's position on her head. "After all, I am 'horrid' and 'awful.'" She then crossed her arms and left with Yaksha acting as her legs and carrying her out.

"Man is she upset," Gavin said while they all watched her leave. "I hope she cools down and decides to give more buns to you guys."

"She better," Ray replied before he looked down at his still-growling belly and whined, "My belly needs way more breakfast than that."

Meanwhile…

Commander Apetrully stood at the edge of a high cliff at the edge of the Liger's kingdom with a pair of binoculars in his hands, looking at the castle that sat amongst massive vine-covered boulders.

Liger Castle consisted of multiple towers of varying sizes, each surrounded by a mostly-intact red stone wall. Each tower looked quite similar to each other, but the largest of them all had a large gold-colored ball structure with four pale yellow spots surrounded by white rings on the very top.

The tank commander pulled up in his tank alongside Apetrully. The tank commander and the rest of the men in the tank army looked exactly alike, with them being rather short, quite blocky in shape, and his uniform having a beige tank picture on the front. The difference between him and the rest of his men was the color of his uniform. His was red, while the rest of the men had green. He also had a grey metal glove on his right hand.

The tanks they drove were giant hollowed out gourds with a shape similar to that of an eggplant, but with a bulbous rear that was bigger than the bulbous section closest to the turret, which was the hollowed-out stem. The gourds were attached to large tank treads driven by a member of the Tank Army, while another member was inside the gourd via a hatch on the top. Each tank had a beige square on the sides with a unique number of black dots which designated the tank its number.

"Commander Apetrully!" The tank commander called out, catching Apetrully's attention. He then pointed to Liger Castle. "These are the animals who have been attacking the humans in the forest."

Apetrully looked closely through his binoculars at the bases of the towers, and saw that the Ligers had several humans tied up. The Ligers were about a head taller than the humans, were varying shades of yellow, had large manes, underbellies that were a lighter shade of their coat colors, sharp claws, sharp teeth, long tails with a spike at the end, carried rings in their mouths, and could walk upright on two legs as well as on all fours.

"Our intelligence indicates that they are very dangerous," The tank commander continued.

"I am sure they'll want to be our allies once I give them this golden present," Apetrully said confidently as he put away his binoculars and pulled out a large stack of gold bars, holding them before him.

"Hmm," The tank commander said as he and his men began to follow Apetrully to Liger Castle. He wasn't so sure.

Once they arrived at Liger Castle, Apetrully went up to Golden-Eye Husky, the king of the Ligers. Golden-Eye Husky was a yellow colored Liger that was slightly larger than the other Ligers and had a white belly and white around his features on his face. He had a brown mane on his head, a yellow snout, brown arrow marks between his eyes, and brown marks on his cheeks that resembled whiskers. He had thick arms and legs with claws on his hands and feet, and had brown stripes on his back. He was also carrying a red ring in his mouth.

Apetrully held the gold out, and Golden-Eye Husky took the gold, before turning to the other Ligers and making happy sounds while dancing around, holding the gold above his head as he did so. The other Ligers joined in as well, waving their arms in the air as their pinkish blue eyes stared at them unblinking.

"You see there?" Apetrully said to the tank commander, gesturing to the happy Ligers. "A little gold, and a kindly smile can always make friends."

Soon the Ligers were actually climbing into the tanks, with a few sitting on top of them, much to Apetrully's delight.

"How adorable!" He stated to the tank commander. "They are just so curious about our tanks."

"Commander? Is this a good idea?" The tank commander asked, a little nervous to have the Ligers messing with the tanks.

"Come now. We mustn't be suspicious of our newfound Liger friends," Apetrully said while Golden-Eye Husky got into a tank and started driving it towards Apetrully and his team.

The Ligers who were in the other tanks drove them as well towards Apetrully, and Apetrully and his team quickly found themselves surrounded by their very own tanks.

"The Ligers have tricked us!" The tank commander cried.

"This comes as quite a surprise to me!" Apetrully stated before he activated his transmitter, which was the umbrella ornament on his head. It sent out a distress call across the land till it reached Big Green.

Apetrully's figurine began flashing red in First Squad's briefing room while the alarm went off, which prompted Gavin to jump up, having been startled by it.

"I'm so hungry, my belly is beeping!" Mighty Ray whined, before Mr. No Hands spoke up.

"It's Commander Apetrully's signal," He stated. "He must be in trouble!"

"Oh, I'm too hungry to save him," Mighty Ray complained.

"How can you think of your belly at a time like this?!" Mr. No Hands angrily asked. "First Squad, DEPLOY!"

Gavin immediately pulled open his seat and jumped down the hatch, while the others jumped down their own hatches. Once they slid through the twisting and turning tubes and landed on their turtles, they were immediately launched onto the runway, before they jumped.

As they flew through the air, they all suddenly heard a loud "Stop!"

The turtles did just that, and they all fell into the water. Mighty Ray fell off his turtle into the water, while the others remained on theirs, who floated at the surface. Mighty Ray immediately began panicking upon getting to the surface, and three red and yellow life rings immediately landed one on top of the other on him.

As Gavin and Lin Chung helped Mighty Ray back onto his turtle, Gavin looked to see who had thrown the life rings. The ones who had thrown the rings were floating right before First Squad. They were the Sailor Brothers, a trio of people who worked in Big Green's Navy. They had green skin and black hair, and wore brown cloaks and hats. They also had paddles with a trident-like prong on one end. The only way to tell the three of them apart was that on each of their cloaks was a Chinese character for the number 5, 2, and 7.

"Is something wrong?" Gavin asked the trio, wondering why the trio had stopped them in the middle of a mission.

"We Sailor Brothers," The one on the left began, which Gavin referred to mentally as Five

"Have made a lovely present," The middle one continued, who he referred to mentally as 2.

"That we wish to give to the beautiful Mystique Sonia," The right one, who he mentally called 7, finished as he pulled out a beautiful gold bracelet with shells and gems on it. Sonia gasped in surprise, and immediately put it on before she admired it on her arm.

"More presents," Mighty Ray grumbled from within the rings. "You've gotta be kidding me!"

"Oh thank you boys!" Sonia said as she continued to admire the bracelet.

"We sailor brothers are in awe of your beauty," The right one said.

"If you ever need us, use the signal on the bracelet," The middle one added, pointing to a green gem in the middle of the bracelet.

"That's so sweet!" Sonia replied happily, before bending over and pulling out a wooden tray of steaming buns.

Everyone in First Squad was surprised, most because of the same reason-hunger. Gavin though, was surprised because of something else.

'Where in the world did she hide those?' He thought as he stared at the buns. 'In fact, when did she have the time to grow them?' He continued to stare at the buns in thought for several seconds, till he got an idea. 'Maybe she grew them when she got back to her room.'

Mighty Ray was so shocked he accidentally flexed and popped the rings around him. "How come they get delicious buns?!" he cried.

"Because theeeeyy appreciate me!" Sonia replied, causing Gavin to sigh a little.

'Sonia, we do appreciate you though,' He thought as they bid the Sailor Brothers goodbye and resumed heading to where Apetrully had sent out the distress signal. 'Sure Mr. No Hands can be a bit hard on us, but that's because he wants us to grow as a team and as individuals.'

As they drove past oddly shaped and striped boulders that dotted the landscape close to Liger Castle, Sonia cried out excitedly, "Ooooh! Kitties!"

They then came to a stop in front of the Ligers, who were just staring at them with their unblinking eyes. "Okay, that's a bit creepy," Gavin stated as he got off his turtle and looked at the Ligers, stretching as he did so.

"Here's Liger Castle," Lin Chung stated as he looked around, while Sonia got off her turtle. "Where's Commander Apetrully?"

"Maybe the Liger's ate 'em," Mighty Ray suggested, before his stomach growled once more.

"Awe, how could such a cutesy-wootsy kitty ever do something mean like that?" Sonia said in her adoration voice, petting the leader as she did so.

"Sonia, you'd be surprised at how many creatures can look cute but be quite dangerous," Gavin stated as he finished stretching.

Yaksha, meanwhile, was facing a dilemma. He could see the zit on Sonia's face, and it was soooo tempting to pop it. He tried to resist, but it was too much.

Yaksha hopped up while making a weird cry, before reaching down and squeezing the zit with his claws. He only had to squeeze for a few seconds before it popped, shooting out some pus which landed and then hit one of the leader's eyes, breaking it and revealing his real eyes underneath.

His real eyes were large and yellow with catlike pupils and black eyelash-like patterns around them. He pulled off the glasses that he had been wearing, which had circular lenses with thin, dark purple frames. Their lenses were pink with painted eyes on that were blue with black pupils.

He got up and looked at Sonia with rage in his eyes.

"Yaksha!" Sonia scolded as she held him in front of her, unaware of the danger she was in. "Bad bad, naughty Yaksha!"

The leader threw the glasses away, and then roared into the air, breathing fire as he did so.

"Look out!" Gavin and Lin Chung cried out, prompting Yaksha to jump out of Sonia's hands and over her. She let out a cry of shock and fear before Yaksha covered her with himself just before the leader aimed his fiery breath at them.

The leader continued his attack for several seconds, with Yaksha whimpering and whining like a puppy as the flames burned him.

Once the leader let up his attack, Yaksha, now completely charred, uncovered Sonia and collapsed onto the ground. Sonia let out a cry of worry upon seeing Yaksha the way he was, and quickly got on her knees next to him.

"Yaksha?" She asked softly, gently picking up one of his long limbs. A small breeze started to blow, and Yaksha quickly crumbled into dust, prompting her to scream.

The rest of First Squad watched in silence, horrified at what they had just witnessed.

As Sonia's eyes filled with tears, she whispered, "Yaksha."

Upon seeing the tears, their horror quickly turned into anger, and they turned to the Ligers with anger on their faces.

"The Ligers were fooling us!" Mighty Ray exclaimed as he pointed at the Ligers, who took off their glasses and hunched over, preparing to fight.

Mr. No Hands launched himself into the air, prompting the leader to shoot his fire breath at him. In retaliation, Mr. No Hands shot his darts at the Liger, forcing him to stop his attack. "First Squad, move!" He cried as the battle commenced.

As two Ligers charged him, Gavin held his hand out, and a large slab of rock rose up from the ground, before completely disconnecting. He clenched his fist, and the slab broke into hundreds of pieces. He then pointed a finger at the approaching Ligers, and the pieces flew straight at the Ligers, barely stopping them in their tracks due to their tough skin.

As the pieces came hurtling at them, they put their arms in front of them to shield their faces and close their eyes. Once the flow of rock pieces ceased, they lowered their arms and opened their eyes, only for them to widen in shock and fear as several basketball-size rocks flew right at them.

The Ligers tried to punch the rocks and destroy them as they ran towards him, not realizing that Gavin was on the move. He ran behind a large boulder, and threw a punch in the direction of the Ligers, making more rocks come out of the ground, form a fist, and fly towards the enemy.

The Ligers' eyes widened to the size of dinner plates upon seeing the stone fist coming at them at high speed, and let out roars of pain as the fist smashed into them and slammed them into a nearby cliff before breaking into tiny pieces, revealing that they had been knocked out.

Gavin then turned his attention to two other Ligers, who were staring at him with wide eyes. He raised his hand again, and formed two more slabs of thick rock, before running at them. The Ligers breathed fire at him to stop him, but he moved the slabs of rock in front of him, protecting him from the flames. 'This ought to take care of them,' He thought as continued to run forward, before jumping up above them once they stopped breathing fire at him. He then slammed the slabs of rock down on their heads, bruising their heads and giving them welts, before landing on top of the rocks and leaping off them.

"Can't get me!" he teased as he ran off, making the sore Ligers roar with rage before running after him, wanting to burn him to a crisp.

Meanwhile, a red Liger came up and breathed fire at Mighty Ray and Jumpy, prompting them to take evasive action. Ray leaped out of the flames path, while Jumpy threw a carrot grenade into the flames.

The resulting explosion knocked away their turtles and stopped the flame long enough for Jumpy to use his jump rope as a mobile forcefield. He let out a battle cry as he spun his rope around him and went towards the attacking Liger, while Mr. No Hands flew around just out of reach of a red Liger breathing flames at him.

Lin Chung spun his staff in his hands above him as he cautiously looked around him, waiting for a Liger to attack him. Suddenly, a yellow Liger leaped out in front of him from behind a nearby boulder and fired its flames at him. He quickly leaped up, dodging the flames, and landed next to the Liger, before using his staff to sweep the Liger off its feet.

Once it fell onto its back, Lin Chung vaulted off the Liger's belly and at another Liger, while Mr. No Hands let out a cry of pain as flames touched his reach for a second. Mighty Ray was tussling with an orange Liger, with the two combatants rolling around on the ground as they fought.

Amid the chaos of the fighting, Sonia sat on the ground in a catatonic state, curled up in a ball with a shocked expression on her face, while her hair had frizzed up.

Suddenly, Golden Eye Husky picked her up and carried her off into the nearest tower. He then tossed her into the basement, which was where they were keeping ApeTrully and the tank drivers, and shut the trap door, before returning to the battle.

The rest of First Squad soon found themselves surrounded by the Ligers, who were now on all fours and approaching them, pushing them closer together. "I can't…fight much longer," Mighty Ray said as his and everyone else's stomach growled with hunger. "I'm too hungry!"

'I'm a little hungry too,' Gavin thought as he held a stone hammer in his hands, ready to swing it at a Liger at a moment's notice. 'I had a very light lunch before we went on this mission, and I wish I had eaten more.'

Mr. No Hands frantically looked for a place they could retreat to, and soon spotted several large rocks in the distance. "There! Behind those rocks! Go!" He said, prompting all of them to run over to said rocks and take cover.

As the rest of First Squad hid behind the rocks, their stomachs growling for food, Mystique Sonia sat in the basement of the tower, crying over the death of her companion Yaksha. ApeTrully and the tank drivers sat nearby, tied up with strong ropes.

One of the tank drivers scooted over towards her. "Adorable Mystique Sonia," He said with an excited tone as he got next to her. "Have you read the letters I wrote?!" He then began to quote his most recent letter, with hearts appearing in his eyes as he looked at her lovingly. "My heart feels like a golden butterfly bathed in the bubbly soap of Love. And, I love you!"

As soon as he said the words "I love you," something odd happened to him. His skin became magenta in color, his hair and helmet disappeared, and two large pointy horns that were striped with darker pink appeared on his head.

Those words also shook Sonia out of her crying state, and she glanced over at the man. "W-W-What did you say?" She asked him, not sure she had heard him correctly.

"I said, I love you!" The man replied. This time, his whole head changed to look like Yaksha's body, which caused Sonia to sit up and wipe away her tears before smoothing out her hair.

"Oh, my sweet soldier," She said once she had finished smoothing it out, leaning towards the man with the hint of a smile on her face. "I'm afraid that I didn't hear you clearly."

"I LOVE YOU!" The man proclaimed proudly and happily, his head twitching with every word. His body then disappeared with a "Poof!," and the reborn Yaksha leaped up out of the tank driver's clothes before landing on his arms while making happy grunts and dancing in place.

Sonia gasped in response as she stood up and wrapped her arms around Yaksha with a happy smile. "Yaksha! Good, good, wonderful Yaksha!" She said as she held him in her arms, with him wrapping his arms around her.

The tank army looked on with confusion on their faces. What had happened to their comrade?

Seeing their confusion, Commander ApeTrully spoke up. "Mystique Sonia has a spell on her. Whenever a man tells her 'I love you' three times in a row, he turns into a Yaksha," he said as he watched Sonia and Yaksha hug each other, with Sonia laughing happily as she did so.

Upon hearing this, the tank army's eyes widened with shock, before they slowly and quietly scooted back, afraid that they might say the phrase to activate the curse if they stayed really close to her.

Meanwhile, things were not looking good for the rest of First Squad. The Ligers had just destroyed their cover, leaving them out in the open. Gavin stood in front of First Squad, his stone hammer at the ready, while the others sat on the ground behind him, their stomachs growling loudly for food. "Give me your best shot Ligers!" Gavin said as he stood there, his stomach growling a little. "I'm not afraid of you!" 'I know I can't take them all down at once,' He thought as he stared at them. 'But I'll take down as many as I can before I fall.'

The Ligers let out a roar in response, breathing fire into the air for several seconds as First Squad watched. Suddenly, a strong breeze hit their flames, putting them out to the Liger's shock and surprise.

The source of said breeze was Mystique Sonia, who was spinning her long blue tongue rapidly to create it. She then stopped, and put her hands on her hips with a smirk on her face, while Yaksha sat on top on her head. "Bad kitties!" She said to the Ligers, before wiggling her fingers and tongue at them teasingly.

"Sonia's back!" Mighty Ray said happily as the others looked at her with relief.

"And Yaksha," Gavin added with surprise. 'How did he get back?'

"Aaaand I brought my buns!" She stated happily, gesturing to a small patch of steaming buns right next to her.

"Thank you Sonia," Gavin replied as he and the rest of First Squad ran over and began to quickly eat up the buns. The Ligers watched them eat with confusion, looking at each other with shocked looks on their faces.

Once they had all finished eating, Mighty Ray firmly stated "Now we're all ready to fight!" as he raised up his fists and everyone got in a fighting pose.

The Ligers roared at them as they prepared to attack First Squad. First Squad then began to throw things at them, with Mighty Ray and Gavin throwing softball-sized rocks and stone hammers, Jumpy throwing carrot darts, Lin Chung shooting his bamboo shoot tips through his staff, and Mr. No-Hands firing his darts from the corners of his uniform.

Unfortunately, when the items hit the Liger's bodies, they bounced off, although Gavin's hammers did land on their feet, hurting them a little bit.

"Their skin is really tough!" Mighty Ray said with surprise as he stared at the Ligers, who were growling in anger and running towards them, having been enraged even more by the pain they received from Gavin's hammers. Lin Chung tossed up some of his ammo into the air, and flicked them at Golden-Eye Husky. The shoots flew at him at high speed, but when they hit his skin, they bounced off again.

The Ligers froze at that, before they began laughing at the weak attack.

"Wow, their skin really is super tough," Gavin said as he stared at the Liger's skin. "The shoots didn't even make a scratch on his skin."

"They may be tough, but I bet I know how to beat em," Sonia said with a smirk. Yaksha then stretched his arms out to Golden-Eye Husky, who arched an eyebrow with confusion, before he began to wiggle his fingers against his sides.

The Liger was quiet for a few seconds, before he began to snicker. This snicker soon turned into full-blown laughter, and he fell on his back as Yaksha continued to tickle him.

'Huh, well what do you know,' Gavin thought with surprise as he watched the Liger laugh. 'Didn't think they were ticklish at all due to their thick skin.'

The others, upon seeing that tickling was the answer to beating the Ligers, proceeded to chase the Ligers around. When they got their hands on a Liger, they proceeded to tickle them. Eventually, the Ligers were all laughing so hard that they were easily defeated. They were then tied up in small groups with multiple thick ropes before they stopped their laughing fits.

Apetrully then walked over to Golden-Eye Husky to talk with him, but Golden-Eye tossed his red ring down to the ground before him and let out a roar. Apetrully then picked up the tossed ring and turned to First Squad. "The Liger King refuses to surrender, unless you defeat them in a ring-throwing game," He told them as he spun the ring on his finger. At that, the Liger King let out a loud roar, scaring Apetrully.

"Well, I guess we'll have to play then," Gavin said as he walked over and began untying the ropes on Golden-Eye's group. After several seconds had passed, he managed to undo the ropes, freeing the Liger King and the four other Ligers he had been tied up with. He then did the same with the rest of the Ligers.

The Liger King and the other Ligers stood up once the ropes were gone, and the king growled and roared at the four Ligers he had been tied up with, pointing at an open area as he did so.

The Ligers nodded, and walked over to the open area, which was about 100 feet away. They then turned around to face First Squad, and got down on all fours side by side, raising their rears up high as they held their tails straight up. They then started moving their tails side to side in sync with each other.

Golden-Eye Husky and three other Ligers took their rings from their mouths and threw them at the Liger's tails. Every ring made it onto a tail, causing Golden-Eye Husky to roar and breathe flames with pride while the other Ligers cheered.

"Hah! That's easy!" Mighty Ray stated as he, Sonia, Jumpy, Gavin, and Lin Chung picked up rings to throw. They then all threw their rings at the Ligers.

'I know that was a good throw,' Gavin thought as the rings flew towards the Ligers. "Come on! Make it!" He muttered as they watched the rings.

The rings soon reached the Ligers and were about to land on their tails, when suddenly the tails bent over. The rings then bounced off the bent tails, causing the other Ligers to laugh at First Squad.

"Hey! That's not fair!" Gavin exclaimed with anger.

"Yeah!" Mighty Ray exclaimed as well.

"We can't beat them if they play unfair," Lin Chung said with a frown and clenched fist.

'We'll never beat them by ourselves!' Sonia thought as she stood there, her hands on her hips. 'They won't play fair with us!' She then remembered something important. 'Oh yeah! The Sailor Brothers could help us!' She thought as she remembered how the brothers had saved Mighty Ray with their rings earlier that day. "Guys, I've got an idea!" She exclaimed as she took off the bracelet and handed it to Yaksha, making sure to touch the green gem on it.

Yaksha held the bracelet high in the air as it began glowing light blue, before firing a light blue ball of light into the sky. Once it got very high up, it exploded with a flash of purple, leaving the green outline of a Sailor Brother in the air for several seconds.

The Sailor Brothers saw this outline from where they were in the ocean, and Five said, "Gooooorgeous Mystique Sonia has summoned us!" The three brothers then began quickly paddling their way towards her location.

Sometime later…

The three brothers arrived at Liger Castle, and immediately went over to Mystique Sonia.

"What is your request, beautiful Mystique Sonia?" Five asked her.

"We need you to beat the Ligers in a ring-toss," She replied.

"As you wish, fair Mystique Sonia," Two answered as he and his siblings bowed before walking over to where First Squad had been standing when they'd tossed their rings, and took the rings offered to them by the Ligers.

The Ligers once more stuck their tails up into the air and began twirling them around quickly, before Golden-Eye Husky growled, pointing at the Ligers.

The Sailor Brothers held up their rings, and closed their eyes, focusing on the rings and their targets as they grabbed it with both hands. The rings started to shine with a light yellow glow for a few seconds, before it disappeared, and the brothers looked up once more.

They then tossed the rings at the Ligers, and they watched as the rings flew through the air, before landing on the Liger's tails, which stopped wagging when they felt the rings on their tails.

Upon seeing this, Golden-Eye Husky growled, and pointed at the sailors, demanding they toss again.

Once they got the rings back, the Ligers began wiggling their tails in place, making them look like slithering snakes.

Again, the bothers managed to land their rings on the tails.

Golden-Eye Husky growled even more, his eyes somewhat wide with surprise, and he pointed at them once more.

The Ligers fumed at this, and began spinning their tails around so fast that they were making mini tornadoes.

The brothers stared at the tails carefully, before they tossed the rings at them. The rings spun around in several circles, before they landed on the tails.

This surprised the Ligers, as well as Golden-Eye Husky.

"Good job guys!" Gavin said, while Golden-Eye Husky started freaking out, putting his hands to his head with shock. "You won!"

"Ring throwing is not just a game for the Sailor Brothers. It is a matter of life and death," The Sailor brothers explained to Golden-Eye Husky. "Every day we practice the tossing of rings."

They were, of course, referring to saving people from drowning using life rings.

"It is our duty," Five continued.

Golden-Eye Husky was shocked to hear this. They used rings to save lives?!

'Maybe High Roller was wrong about humans,' He thought as First Squad thanked the Sailor Brothers for their help. 'These humans certainly don't find ring-tossing dumb. In fact, they find it very useful! Hmmmm.' He then stroked his chin as he pondered over what to do next.

"Now then, release the humans," Mr. No Hands said to him.

Golden-Eye Husky nodded at that, before he roared, prompting the Ligers to untie the humans from earlier, as well as untie the tank drivers.

"Thank you, your majesty," Gavin said to the Liger with a smile. "I am glad you kept your word."

Golden-Eye Husky roared again, before turning to Apetrully and growling, making Gavin and Apetrully's eyes widen with surprise.

"Wait, are you serious?" Gavin asked Golden-Eye Husky, who nodded before roaring again. "Well, that's unexpected," He said. "But welcome."

"What?! What'd he say?" Mighty Ray asked him with curiosity, not able to understand the Liger King's roars.

"Golden-Eye Husky has agreed to join Big Green!" Apetrully said happily. "He says the Ligers would be overjoyed to be allies with humans who display such fantastic skills!"

"Good!" Mr. No Hands replied, while Lin Chung, Mighty Ray, and Gavin smiled, happy to have another ally against High Roller.

Then, there was a loud scream that came from Mighty Ray, catching their attention.

"Mystique Sonia! What's wrong?" Apetrully asked her with worry, while she sat on her knees, turned away from them.

"It's-It's…my face!" She replied as she turned around with a mirror in hand, before slowly lowering it, a look of despair on her face. "I've got two new zits!"

"Oh dear!" Apetrully said, his tiny umbrella flipping inside out for a second with worry.

"Oh boy," Gavin said with a groan, knowing that Mystique Sonia was overreacting a bit, before noticing that Yaksha's eye was starting to twitch as he stared at the zits. 'Well, hopefully he can control himself,' He thought as the rest of First Squad went to her and comforted her. 'Otherwise she'll get more.'

He then looked at the Ligers and hummed in thought. 'I wonder who we'll get to join our side next?' He thought. 'Maybe a snake? Or cheetah?' He then shrugged. 'Guess we'll just have to wait and see.'

A couple days later…

Lin Chung and Gavin hummed as they held their hands up to their eye like binoculars, looking at a nearby village with frowns on their faces.

In the village, people could be seen running in fright, while the camels ran after them, using their long black tails to whip them. The camels looked like those back in Gavin's universe, but all had three large humps on their bodies, with their heads sticking out of the foremost hump. They also had long black tails that ended in large black tufts that looked like hands. They were running around a massive white dome shaped building that had several paintbrush shaped windows in it, along with a large spout at the top that periodically shot ink out onto the top of the building, with two large towers on either side of it that were shaped like paintbrushes.

Riding two of the many camels were High Roller's Zebra henchmen, the Zebra Brothers Sparky Black and Sparky White. Sparky Black was a three-foot-tall stocky male Zebra who was black with white stripes and had a rather thick right leg and foot compared to his left. He had a pair of bright yellow eyes and was wearing a simple black loincloth around his waist. His twin brother was white with bluish-black stripes and the same height and body shape as him. But his left leg and foot were thicker than his right, and he was wearing a white loincloth.

"High Roller has turned the camels against the humans," Apetrully said as he stood nearby on the tall cliff they were on, a pair of bamboo binoculars in his hands. "I must try to convince the camels to turn from evil and join us at Big Green!" He continued.

"Commander Apetrully, it might not be safe," Lin Chung said to him as he looked up from the drawing he was making. "Let me or Gavin go with you," He suggested, with Gavin nodding in agreement.

"They'll be more likely to trust me if I go alone," Apetrully replied as he pocketed the binoculars. "You two head back and let everyone know where I am."

At that, Lin Chung nodded, before he stood up and showed him the scroll he had been drawing on. "Here, I've drawn a map to Camel Castle to show the others how to get here," He said with a smile on his face, while Apetrully gasped with shock and slight horror.

'Yeesh, that's supposed to be a map?' Gavin thought as he looked at the scroll. 'I can kind of see it, but not really. Lin Chung, you need to practice your drawing skills. Is that supposed to be a camel or a bunch of scribbles?'

Lin Chung and Gavin's turtles gasped at the image, before they tucked their heads into their shells, not wanting to see the horrible image that was supposed to be a map.

"Do you like my drawing?" Lin Chung asked Apetrully as he held it forward, making him gasp again.

'Oh dear! I cannot tell Lin Chung how immensely awful his drawing is!' Apetrully thought. 'I would not wish a repeat of when he showed us his dreadful woodcarving,' He continued, remembering how Lin Chung had worked hard to carve a monkey, only to make something that barely resembled on, as its head was turned backwards, its tail was too long, and its feet were too big and facing directions that feet should not be facing. They had all laughed at the carving, with Gavin chuckling a bit. 'Lin Chung was so disheartened,' He continued, remembering how the human had sat in his room for hours and hours, only coming out to eat and do missions, before he'd come back out to rejoin them once again after a week of solitude. 'His marksmanship was not the same until he embraced a new love. The love of drawing.' "Never have I laid my eyes upon such an outstanding map!" Apetrully lied, while Gavin sighed a bit.

'I get why you're lying Apetrully, I do,' He thought to himself. 'But that's not going to help Lin Chung out.'

"I have a real passion for drawing," Lin Chung replied with a smile as he looked at the map.

"And it shows! I thank my lucky stars that I have lived long enough to see such a work of beauty!" Apetrully lied.

'Man, you are laying it on thick, Apetrully!' Gavin thought with an arched eyebrow. 'A bit much if you ask me.'

"Well, farewell!" Apetrully said as he hurried over to the helicopter, which was made out of a similar gourd like the tanks and had a large metal propellor blade on top that had two large flies at the ends to provide propulsion and lift. He then ran into it and shut the tail, before getting in the cockpit and taking off at quick speed.

As he flew off, Lin Chung turned to Gavin and said, "I'm glad he liked it," while his turtle arched an eyebrow at him.

"Good to hear," Gavin replied, before he hopped on his turtle. "Now then, let's head back to Big Green."

Later…

Lin Chung and Gavin sped across the water to the base of Big Green, and soon entered it, before making their way to the squad room. There, Lin Chung showed them his map by changing it on the wall. He then walked over and sat down, looking very pleased.

First Squad stared and stared at the map for a couple minutes, before Mighty Ray spoke. "What an awful drawing!" he said, shocking Lin Chung and making Gavin sigh.

'Figures he'd be the first to say it,' he thought as Mighty Ray continued. "Makes me want to feed my eyes to a warthog," he said as he spun his eyes around in their sockets.

"Don't you like my drawing?" Lin Chung asked them as he looked at them, a confused look on his face.

Upon hearing him speak, Mystique Sonia let out a small gasp, before she turned around. "Lin Chung! Wow! You drew this?!" She said, making him slump down a bit.

Upon seeing him like this, Ray, Sonia, and Jumpy all remembered how depressed he'd been after they'd last told him his art was bad.

Then, Mr. No Hands spoke up. "Mighty Ray is incorrect!" Mr. No Hands said as he looked down at Ray with a frown while flying in the air. "This drawing is very fantastic!"

'Oh boy,' Gavin thought to himself. 'It's far from fantastic, but it's not the worst he's done,' Gavin continued. 'I mean, I can tell what some of the things on it are.'

"Right, everyone?" Mr. No Hands continued as he looked at the others, who nodded before they started to clap.

"Yes, it's great," Ray and Sonia said as they clapped half-heartedly.

"It's such a…a cute map," Sonia said, which made Ray stiffen, as it was far from that. Then, Yaksha slapped him on the bac of his head, snapping him out of it.

"Oh yeah!" Ray said as he rubbed the back of his head. "What was I thinking?!" he continued as he held his head and looked away. "My eyeballs must be broken," he said as he pulled them out of his sockets and slammed them on the table. "Come on! Stupid eyeballs! Work! Work work work!" He continued, before he was electrocuted by them and fell to the floor, smoking a bit. He then put them back into his sockets and blinked. "Ah, that's better! Now I see how awesome the drawing is!" He said as he looked at the map while on the floor.

"I am flattered," Lin Chung said, having missed all the sarcasm and looks Mr. No Hands was giving Jumpy, Ray, and Sonia. At that, Gavin silently sighed, and shook his head as he stood behind Lin Chung.

'This is so gonna come bite us in the butt sometime,' he thought.

Meanwhile…

"Lovely, fun camels!" Apetrully said right outside the Camel Castle. "Please accept this golden present. It is my hope that I might make peace with you," he continued with a bow as he held up a small stack of gold bars.

At that, the camels laughed, before the Camel King, who was light blue with dark blue tips on his hump and had a pink face, picked Apetrully up by the collar and carried him inside the castle, making him drop the gold.

"Oh dear! What are you doing?" Apetrully asked them as they went inside.

A few minutes later, he was standing on a red round podium on a red rug, while several camels stood around him, using their long black tails to hold large pencils and brushes. They were drawing him on some scrolls, while the Camel King periodically let out a groan at the Camels, making them work faster.

Each camel drew him differently, with one adding a mustache onto his face.

Apetrully then raised a hand to stretch, only to be slapped on it by the Camel King, who had a frown on his face.

"Camel King, I am honored to be your model, but I was hoping to-Gah!" Apetrully cried as he was slapped on the head by the king's tail. The king then laughed, before he walked off, while Apetrully activated his beacon.

Back at Big Green…

The alarm then started to go off, causing Mighty Ray to point at the flashing eyes of Apetrully's figurine. "Mr. No Hands, the alarm!"

"First Squad, deploy!" He shouted, kicking his feet into the air as he spoke. The others all then jumped down their hatches and slid through twisting and turning tubes, before landing one by one onto their turtles. They were then launched onto the runway, and maneuvered the somewhat crooked runway before they ran up a ramp and jumped out over the water.

As they headed towards Camel Castle while using Lin Chung's map, Sonia said, "Are we lost?" at one point.

"Just follow my map!" Lin Chung replied.

Several minutes later, Ray spoke. "This map hurts my brain!" he grumbled, while Gavin sighed.

'It hurts mine a bit too, Ray,' Gavin thought to himself. 'Mine too.'

Some time later, they arrived outside the castle, and made their way up the side, with Gavin creating stairs using the stone of the castle. They then came to a stop at a small ledge that ran along the inside of the dome-shaped building and looked down.

There, they saw that Apetrully was standing as a drawing model, periodically getting smacked on the back and head with the Camel King's tail.

"And I always thought it would be glamorous being a model," Sonia said, before they noticed Lin Chung moving a bit.

"Whatcha doing?" Ray asked him.

"The camels are drawing Apetrully," Lin replied as he drew on a small scroll. "I want to draw him too."

"That's Apetrully?!" Ray said with shock as he saw what Lin was drawing. "That looks like-Ow!" He shouted as he was smacked on the back by Yaksha. Unfortunately, the smack pushed him over the edge and he fell down to the floor below with a loud "THUD!"

"Shit!" Gavin cursed as the camels all turned to Ray and frowned, before they raised their drawing utensils in the air and started to gnash their teeth.

"So much for a surprise attack," Sonia said to Gavin before she, Gavin, and Jumpy leaped down to the floor, ready to fight. Ray then got off the floor looking rather dizzy, before he shook his head.

"We're going to kick your humps!" He shouted, before he realized that he was looking away from them. Jumpy then sighed, before he turned him around and smacked him on the head with an ear. All four of them then charged at them, with Jumpy using his rope skills to knock many over, while Gavin made some stone hammers from the floor and tossed them at some others, hitting them in the face.

Soon, the four reached Apetrully, and turned around so that their backs were to him.

"I think I've really captured Commander Apetrully's eyes" Lin Chung said as he continued to draw, while the others fought the camels.

AS they fought, they found themselves being pushed back to Apetrully, which confused them. "What are they doing?" Gavin said as the camels stepped back and started to move their jaws up and down like they were chewing.

*PTOOEY!*

"Ewwww!" Giavn groaned as he was hit in the face by two large globs of camel spit., "That's nasty!" He continued, before the smell hit his nose. 'Holy fuck!' He thought as he fell to his knees, covering his nose as he did so. 'That's so rancid! It's like they chewed garbage all their lives and let it rot even more!'

"This…stinks!" Ray said as he, Sonia, and Jumpy were also spat on, before they fell down from the horrid smell.

"Good heavens!' Apetrully said as the smell hit him as well before he fell backwards.

The smell then made its way up to Lin Chung. "Ugh! What's that smell?!" he said as he looked down at the bottom floor. He then saw Camel King come and take Apetrully away, while the other camels approached the rest of First Squad.

"So…nasty," Gavin said as he looked at the camels, his face a bit green and cheeks swelling up a bit.

Upon seeing this, Lin Chung grit his teeth, before he grabbed his spear and jumped down to the floor. He then leaped over to his friends and smacked the camels away with his spear, before he spun it around and picked them all up with it. Once he had all of them on his spear, he leaped up to the ledge with the help of some nearby rocks, dodging globs of spit being fired at him from the camels, before he jumped away.

"What's going on out there?" Sparky White asked his brother in a young voice that sounded like a jerks as he drew on a piece of paper.

"Who cares," Sparky Black replied in a similar voice. "Look, I drew a picture," he continued as he held up a piece of paper. "You're getting eaten by a robot!"

"I drew a picture of you, and your head is a watermelon!" Sparky White replied.

At that, Sparky Black stood up and tossed his drawing to the side. "Your head is a watermelon!" he shouted back at him with a frown, causing his brother to growl with anger as he stood up, before the two jumped at each other and started to tussle.

Several minutes later..

"Woo the Wise," Lin Chung said as he and the rest of First Squad entered Woo's room, while Yaksha dried off Sonia's hair with a towel. "We need your help!"

"Egh! Camel spit totally stinks!" Sonia replied, with Gavin nodding in agreement.

"It's like someone mixed up a dead body with rotting veggies," Gavin added, shuddering a bit.

At that, Woo the Wise, who was standing at the top of a large ladder next a drawer, jumped into the drawer, which then shut, before he popped out of one at the bottom, a large device in his hands that was made out of wood and had two large holes at one end. He then walked over to her and took a few sniffs through it, before going "Eugh!" as his hat flipped several pages. "You're right!" He replied, before he took another sniff, which prompted Yaksha to slap the device away. "Oh, do not worry, my invention number 3,856 should help you out," he continued, before he pulled out a small pointer and flipped several pages before he pointed at one page. "Minty gum!" he said with a smile. "I shall deliver the gum to Big Green Air Force! They will drop the gum, and then the camels will get minty fresh breath!"

"Good idea, Woo the Wise," Gavin said with a smile. "Thank you!"

"You are welcome!" Woo replied with a smile, before he hurried out of the room to get the gum, while First Squad hurried back to their turtles to drive back to Camel Castle.

When they got there, they saw that the camels had just finished eating all the gum, and grinned.

"Hey camels!" Ray called out as they hopped out of the trees and landed before them, ready to fight.

Upon seeing them, the camels all spat at them, and hit them directly.

"Ugh, still gross," Gavin said as he wiped off the spit. "But hey, it's no longer foul-smelling!" he continued with a grin.

"Time to pummel camels!" Sonia said with a grin, before they ran to do just that. Sonia used her tongue to slap one camel's head up, stopping its attack, before she started to flick her tongue at it rapidly. Ray rode on the back of one, punching it in the head as it ran around. Gavin made more stone hammers and slammed them on the camel's feet and the sides of their heads, making them groan in pain and become dizzy. Jumpy dodged the camels tails and used his jump rope to help him jump higher, before he wrapped it around one camel and pulled it onto its side. He then ran around it rapidly, hog-tying it up.

Upon seeing all this, Camel King let out a loud groan and moan of anger, causing several camels to come up. Three then stood end to end, before two jumped up and landed upside down on top of them, their humps interlocking with each other. Two more jumped ups and pulled their legs up, interlocking them with the upside-down ones, before a lone one jumped up on top of them, interlocking its humps with theirs. Finally, the Camel King jumped up and locked his legs with the one on top, while two other camels sat upside down between his humps, mouths aiming at them. They then shot their long tails forward at them at surprising speed.

Ray let out a shocked cry as he was grabbed and pulled underneath the king, who then jumped up and down, squishing him, while one of the trials squashed Sonia on the floor. Jumpy dodged the various tails, before one smacked him on the rear and into the air.

Gavin and Lin Chung though, were not as unfortunate, with Lin Chung using his agility and spear to dodge the tails, and Gavin using his power over stone to smack the tails away before they could grab him, also jumping over them when they tried to grab his legs. After a few minutes had passed, Gavin and Lin Chung both jumped up into the air. Gavin then formed several stone hammers from the ground and flung them at the camels' knees, while Lin Chung flicked several pointy bamboo shoot tips at them at high speeds.

The flying objects hit their marks spot on, and caused the tower of camels to topple over into a big heap.

Sonia then let out a sigh of relief as she sat up and rubbed her head and Yaksha.

A few minutes later, all the camels had been tied up with thick ropes that were placed right below their heads so that they couldn't chew their way out.

"The camels are defeated," Apetrully said. "But they won't believe we are worthy to be their allies, unless we can draw as well as them."

"I'll show them my drawing of Commander Apetrully!" Lin Chung said excitedly as he pulled out the scroll he had been drawing on.

'Oh no,' Gavin thought as he closed his eyes and sighed. 'That's not going ot go well.'

"Lin Chung, no!" Sonia said to him as he walked forward.

"What's wrong?" He asked her.

"Oh, uh, you wouldn't want to show them your drawing before it's finished!" She said to him. "You could add some color."

"And you could make it look like Apetrully," Ray said, before he dodged a swipe form Yaksha. "Hehe!" he cheered as he pointed at her with a grin, before he was smacked again.

"Don't worry! They'll love it!" Lin Chung said with a smile as he walked forward. "Just like you loved my map."

At that, Sonia gasped, before she shot her tongue out and wrapped it around his arm, much to his confusion, while Jumpy wrapped his jump rope around Lin Chung's legs, which mad ehim fall forward. "No!" She cried as she jumped on top of him, with Jumpy and Ray doing so as well. Apetrully went to do the same thing, but he fell back instead when his costume hit his feet. But then he got up and jumped on them as well, which caused Lin Chung to drop the scroll.

Said scroll then rolled open before the Camel King, who stared at, while Sonia and Ray screamed with fright.

"Here we go," Gavin said with a sigh as he watched the Camel King stare at the rather bad drawing of Apetrully, before tears started to form in his eyes. Then, the king started to bawl loudly and groaned.

"Lin Chung's sketch made the Camel King cry!" Ray said, while Gavin's eyes widened.

"Wait, what'd you say sir?" Gavin asked the Camel King. "Could you repeat that?"

The Camel King then let out another groan, making his eyes widen even more with shock. "Well, um, I didn't expect that," he said, before he turned to First Squad. "Camel King says that it is a tear of joy, produced by love for Lin Chung's drawing."

"You mean he likes Lin Chung's drawing?" Sonia replied with shock, causing the King to groan again as he stopped crying, while everyone else got off Lin Chung.

"The Camel King says that Lin Chung's unique drawing swims from the eye of a star, and kisses the moon with beauty," Gavin said. "The Camels would be thrilled to be allies with humans who make such wonderful art," Gavin continued, while Jumpy hopped over and untied the camels, who were all smiling. The camels then ran over and tossed Lin Chung into the air several times, while Ray and Sonia looked at it and shrugged.

As they watched this go on, Sparky Black and Sparky White continued to fight with each other, before they stopped when they ran into a pillar. They then looked over at the camels and First Squad.

"Uh oh," Sparky Black said with worry. "Those humans made friends with the camels!"

"We better report this to Master High Roller," Sparky White replied, before the two grabbed each other by the feet and rolled out quickly.

'I'm honestly a bit surprised they like his art that much,' Gavin thought as he watched the camels celebrate Lin Chung's artwork. 'But hey, with this type of reception to it, he'll probably work harder at his art, to make it better.'

A few hours later…

"The Camel King has agreed to join Big Green!" Apetrully said to Mr. No Hands as they stood atop a very tall plateau that overlooked a large forest. "And, to draw our maps from now on," he continued as Camel King drew a map of the land next to them.

"That is good news," Mr. No Hands replied.

"In return, Camel King has requested that Lin Chung use his…unique drawing skills to draw his portrait," Apetrully said as he gestured to Lin Chung, who was looking at his drawing with intense concentration.

"I've been concentrating on getting the humps just right," Lin Chung said, before the three of them went to take a look.

Apetrully gasped in fright, before Camel King let out a cheerful bellow, happy tears in his eyes.

"Camel King says it's the most beautiful thing he has ever seen!" Apetrully translated, while Lin Chung spun his brush around several times, a smile on his face.

Well, this was an interesting chapter!

Can't wait to write more!

So, people were wondering what the pairing is. Well, it's my OC x a harem of anthros. I already have several members down. Who would you like to have added out of these two: Parrot or Panda? Or neither?

I will ask this question for the next several chapters, with different options to choose from each time.
