Out of Infinity, you've returned to me. Welcome back readers to another round of LoCG! And a very special Longer chapter for you all. Hope the wait for this chap was worth it, cause things be heating up and we reaching the final climax baby!

Once again, Rails had quite the hand in this chap as well. So, he'll be giving some notes himself, maybe even respond to a review or two. Anyways, I best respond to the Reviews myself now!

Whwsms:{Espers being thalamic magicians is something that the reaction to would be more interesting if they didn't have more pressing matters to deal with… as In a literal god eating monster developing a taste for them. It honestly felt like natural progression for Accel to eventually see the AC students as his students. Index Touma and Othinus, yeah there's major miscommunication there and even some just refusal to communicate. KnT's had enough of Touma embarrassing him, time he took center stage. Index V accelerator was fun to mess with and It just gets more ridiculous from here on out. Lets be honest… that solar nuke is just a plot device by this point XD}

BlueJack22:{Glad you agree and yes.. yes that would fit… cause this is KnT's world now.}

DarkMatter69:{Happy I could inspire, and hey… I write because I'm enjoying it. Won't work if you don't enjoy it.}

Enigmathenightmare:{A new face… hello and welcome glad to see new reviewers.

Qilphah is an Accel simp we all knew that already so this was nessesary.

Yep, I hope you'll enjoy the second half of Accel v Index as much as the first. Touma and Index's chat was something I felt important so I'm glad you liked it as well.

Wait no more and hopefully… I live up to the hype.

Thank you for taking the time to drop a review for me.}

D. :{I understand, I wanted to try writing it like the two fights were both happening together. Yet still being separate as Index vs Accel and Index vs Touma while happening at the same time happened in different places. A war on two fronts so to speak. Oh Accelerator and Index have only just started. You're about to see just how ridiculous it'll get. Being honest?… I literally just googled it up while writing that chapter.

Yep, she's a great devourer, evolution is kinda their thing.

Well… hope this was indeed worth the wait then.}

Mr?:{The main man himself! No worries about being busy, I'm just happy to see you reviewing.

Writing those two Convos was Collabed with Rails to draw out the emotion as both were fairly important. I think Index not breaking is just showing how far she's already fallen.

That was difficult but interesting to write, as the two fights are happening together but one is inside Index and the other is in the outside world. So, the fact it came out as comprehensive and well as it did is amazing in my eyes. And yeah… KnT was just a… I had to… Rails agreed I had to… so yeah he's gonna have some time in the spotlight.

I tried to explain this a few times, but Index's nature is different from other MG's. I also interpreted that as they just didn't control their power. Look at Othinus, full powered Othi didn't just destroy reality. So, I used Index's phase being contained in her body like a singularity to explain why she doesn't destroy the world by existing. But maybe I actually forgot to give that explanation as it's never had much reason to be brought up. To be fair when she ate Othinus it was highly emotional and thus any possible plot holes were overlooked.

Well Hope this lives up to expectations.}

5had0wHand:{Real Life is a bitch… too don't worry too much on it.

Showing how far Index has fallen by her treating hunting espers as a game is one of those things that was important. She's like a cat playing with her food. She doesn't need to eat them, but she's convinced herself she does to hide from the fact she just enjoys it. Not sure how much healthier a hobby it is than sitting around watching TV it is though.

Accel V Index, it was important to show how powerful Index was, without making Accelerator seem weak. And I think I achieved that by showing how he survived each attack. Also… thats an interesting thought, it is a parallel between them now being mirrors of the other. Index if you noticed was going in reverse order of the gods she ate. Ending on Othinus's crossbow and starting with Izanagi.

Im glad that the method behind the madness was understood by you. That was exactly what I was going for with it.

Kinda, but also no… the dragon features like horns wings or tail would be part of his body. But the things like claws would act like gauntlets and boots. Touma holding back and only using what was absolutely necessary was important to show his resolve. And is contrasted with KnT who immediately used Ars Magna.

I don't want to oversaturate them, and generally will only show them when it's important. Or to give some kind of point, here it was important to establish the way Index as a MG's devouring works.

Yep, it fit right in with the explanation of why Index was eating espers. Eh… yeah, probably stuck doing paper work at the moment… like in Shin Godzilla.}

Guest:{Index denies all accusations and says there's a difference between reprimanding someone. And actually wanting to hurt someone to hurt them.}

V:{I'm… not sure if I'm reading this right… but if you mean you want to see how KnT influences Index… wait no more.}

Onilink500:{hoo boy… google translate really ain't helping me.

Glad that this chapter was what you needed.

I wouldn't hold your breath… cause there's more to it than the dragons.

Not sure what this means… cause once again Google Translate. But, yes Touma is pointing out Index's flaws. And in the process trying to get her to admit to them and let him go.}

Well! Thats out of the way… lots of Reviews this time and damn… glad to see people are enjoying it. Those of you who felt I handicapped Index, your about to see what it's like for her to truly go all out. Remember, constructive Criticism is both encouraged and desired.

With that out of the way… let this tale of an infinity commence once more.

Chapter 64

Purifier of Gods, Slayer of Demons

Kamijou-no-Touma

Index frowned as she faced the boy before her. The blade he had actually cut her, more than that. It had temporarily stopped her healing. She looked down and tilted her head, touching the area the blade had hit.

Slight worry began to form in her mind as she looked back at the boy. How had he done that? He had, be it temporarily, actually harmed her. Which was a feat of itself as her body was indestructible. Not to mention her instantaneous healing.

She had noticed the change in Touma immediately, being able to sense essences. He was an esper, and Kamijou no Touma was his ability. So, when he had erupted with AIM Index knew something had changed.

But… Why could he use Ars Magna? The pinnacle of alchemy despite it being magic?

Kamijou no Touma lifted his blade and darted forward, slicing at her. Index barely bent to the side as the blade carved through the space she had just been.

"In my hand, a metal eater, its load, god piercing bullets. Ignore spatial boundaries and instantly hit your target." he declared. And just as he said a large metal eater rifle appeared in his hands. He didn't even aim it, only pulling the trigger.

Index's eyes widened in agony as a bullet tore through her shoulder. How!? In order to use ars magna one must believe they can do what they imagine. Meaning, order to be able to create weapons capable of harming gods. One must believe they could hurt a god.

And the son of a bitch who believed exactly that, had replaced the boy she loved. "GIVE ME BACK MY TOUMAAAAAA!" Index roared as she summoned a blade of her own, swinging it down at Kamijou no Touma.

However, a shield manifested out of nowhere and blocked it. "Tch tch tch." Kamijou no Touma clicked his tongue, wagging his finger. "I'm hurt, you know? You didn't even say hello, I thought you had better manners than that"said Kamijou no Touma as he grinned at Index. She instantly backed off and flew back a bit. "Did becoming a god erase all that British edicate?" he snarked at her.

Index snarled, pulling her arm around and striking him as he blocked with a hand. "You're not the real Touma so I have no reason to be polite to you!" she shouted, an intense burning in her body.

"Real? Fake? You're one the few that knew me and Mr goodie two shoes, so does it really matter which one of us you're dealing with at the moment? Or are you so delusional to assume that shitty failure is the only one worth your time" Kamijou no Touma laughed as he flicked his wrist sending Index's hand back.

"Of course it matters!" Index howled, summoning a spear of vibrant purple flames and striking at Kamijou no Touma. "You're not my Touma so it's not the same. You're just some imposter. The real Touma would never act like he is above me. The real Touma would never mock me. The real Touma would never use someone else's power so arrogantly!"

Kamijou no Touma deflected the godslaying spear with his own godslaying blade as Index's rant continued.

"Touma is Touma and you can never replace him. I don't feel the same exhilaration facing you. I hate you, I hate you. I want my Touma back. Give me back my Touma!" she clenched her fist and tugged. Desiring with all her heart to rip the being known as Kamijou no Touma out of the boy she loved.

But the AIM that was the Purifier didn't even budge despite how much she pulled on it. She bit her lip as she thought, the being known as Kamijou no Touma casting her grip off.

Ars manga allows someone to turn their thoughts into reality. Which meant vocal cues were entirely unnecessary.

The Touma imposter was toying with her, saying his attacks out loud just rub it in.

With a sneer, Kamijou no Touma looked at her. "Around my target, unbreakable anti-divine chains!" and just like he said Chains formed around Index, and she began to fall.

"You know I remember when we first met," he began. "You were hanging on the balcony, I didn't expect that to happen first thing in the morning. I also remember feeding you and accidentally destroying your walking church, stripping you nude."

Kamijou no Touma sneered at her."I remember everything that happened, even after the dragon's breath. I even remember you confessing to me as I sat in the hospital. I remember everything he does, so how am I not Kamijou Touma?"

Digging her teeth into them she managed to disassemble the chains. undoing them, but it was hard. Had she not been anti-divine in nature herself. And had stolen some of Accelerator's AIM earlier. She would never have been able to break those chains.

"Because you didn't live it!" Index slammed her foot down causing a distortion to burst forth. "It wasn't you who lied to protect my smile in that hospital room. It wasn't you who fed me. Who charged into a war to save me. And it definitely wasn't you who always returned to that dorm room for me!"

She launched forward, swinging her fist. But, Kamijou no Touma met it with his own. A shockwave erupted forth as Index glared him in the eyes.

"You stole his memories and experiences, his skills and power. Our memories may shape who we are, but they aren't the only thing involved. Even if Touma suddenly remembered everything, he would never become you. So, don't you dare insult him by acting like you two are even an ounce the same!"

Index kicked at him, but the purifier brought a leg up, deflecting her blow. Causing her world to shudder once more.

"If Touma is compared to Jesus and the savior… then you're the Antichrist!" the former nun shouted. Grabbing Kamijou no Touma's waist she bent back in an attempt to slam his head into the ground.

If she didn't devour Accelerator. She'd be unable to defeat Kamijou no Touma without harming Touma.

Kamijou no Touma's head never hit the ground, however. Instead he pushed off with his hands and kicked Index, sending her crashing against the void. Dusting off his shoulder, he thought for a moment.

Before grinning, "You, know what? You're right… I would be the antichrist."

Bursting forth into her serpentine form. She tried to bite him in a desperate attempt to drain him from her human.

But

"On my hand, a ring which defends against God's SYSTEM." and a glittering ring appeared on his hand. Index's jaws slammed against some kind of barrier. And no matter how hard she tried, she was unable to bite through it.

"But if I'm the antichrist, that would make you Fenrir would it not?" He said as he casually examined his fingernails. "You know, thinking about it despite her small size you must've been really jealous, if you not only stole her knowledge but her figure as well."

He smacked Index's jaw aside and threw her back."Don't get me wrong, I can't blame you. If she ever got to full size, even that shitty failure would've actually had the balls to screw that godly ass. And Knowing Othinus she take the first opportunity she got and bed him herself."

The purifier sneered at her"Those two did have some late night conversations when you were asleep. But then again I'm sure you know all about them. Bet that pissed you off, am I right?"

Something snapped in Index and she roared, launching forward once more. Wrapping her serpentine coils around him she bit down. Immense mandibles slamming against an impossible immovable force.

Kamijou no Touma yawned and looked at his wrist where a watch had appeared. He casually slapped aside Index's tail as she tried to strike him. Then he stretched and flicked Index's forehead. She was sent hurtling back as she reverted to a human state.

"This is getting boring, let's mix things up a bit shall we~"Kamijou no Touma sneered as his eyes widened slightly. "I'm feeling a bit nostalgic~ SYSTEM Recall, Dragon's Breath." Kamijou no Touma's right hand rose and soon a familiar set of two intersecting circles appeared. A crack formed between them and something peered out.

A beam of light erupted forth, but Index merely gestured and it dissipated. First Ars Magna, then this? How was he using magic of any kind? Let alone difficult grimoire spells like those.

She appeared where the imposter had been, hand pulled back. Blinking, her eyes widened. Kamijou no Touma had vanished, appearing behind her.

"Michale's sword" he declared as an immense 40 kilometer flaming blade erupted from his hand.

Index's right hand formed a claw and tore through it absorbing its power. She then twisted around and slammed her foot down on him, pinning him to the void.

"I expected as much from my Index" he whistled.

How dare this imposter act like she was his. "You don't get to talk to me Fake!" she hissed, biting at him. She belonged to Touma, not this imposter.

Kamijou no Touma's smug smile never faded however. "Vector control" he stated and Index found her jaws being flung back, as the forces were reversed.

Vector control? That was Accelerator's ability, so what? Not only can he use magic but the abilities of espers too? Index was getting very irritated at the Winsodor fake's actions.

She got to her feet and narrowed her eyes. Something was familiar about each of these abilities she realized. Kamijou no Touma kicked off the ground and formed vortex wings behind him.

Creating a singularity-blade in her hand, Index swung it. Kamijou no Touma managed to avoid it, rolling to the side. And gave her an uppercut sending her flying through the void around them.

"Move, Point" Kamijou no Touma declared. He didn't need to say them each time, he was just taunting Index. Appearing behind her he slipped his hand into her chest.

Index vanished and appeared behind him as he clenched his fist. She swung her leg down and it sent him into the void ground below. Glaring at the impact zone she felt herself shaking, fury building in her chest.

Ars magna, Dragon's breath, Michale's Sword, Vector Control and now Awaki's movepoint? What the hell was with this guy? Using other's powers so casually? It was as if he was insulting them. Declaring that their powers belonged to him.

The dust settled and an immense black electrical sphere appeared before him. "5.3 Railgun" he sneered. And the black sphere suddenly erupted forth into a beam directed at Index.

She bit down, devouring the energy. Railgun, that was Mikoto, but she had never seen this 5.3 stuff. It may have been related to one of those events during the daihisessai she heard about.

Rotating the world around her, she caught Kamijou no Touma in her grasp. Throwing him, she sent a wave of vibrant purple energy at him. She bit her lip slightly, would that work? She felt sweat form on her brow.

Kamijou no Touma had moved in the air just above her. A set of three numbers over his right hand and a twisted rod in his left. Eyes wide, Index moved back gritting her teeth nervously.

"Spiritual Tripping + Blasting Rod" he declared. And an illusionary pistol appeared in his hand. Index quickly altered her perception just as he pulled the trigger.

Having avoided Aliester's iconic attack. Index appeared behind Kamijou no Touma. This bastard was going to pay for his hubris. But she was smacked aside by a third hand which had emerged from Kamijou no Touma's right shoulder.

"How…. HOW!?" she demanded, recognizing Fiamma's spell. This guy was about as arrogant and entitled as Ainmire. "How are you using all of these spells?" It made no sense, he was an esper ability. Yes they were phases and thelemic magic. But by nature, his existence and usage of magic should damage him! The sparks and sprays caused by the phases colliding should absolutely apply with the ability using magic.

Kamijou no Touma only gave her that shit eating grin. Appearing in front of her, the hand reacted before she could move. It carved through her flesh, causing her to cry out in agony. "Holy right!" Kamijou no Touma said as Index stumbled back to recover.

She growled, healing, as she put the pieces together.

Dragons Breath, Michael's Sword, Spiritual Tripping, Blasting Rod, the Holy right. They were all things Touma had negated with Imagine Breaker. Even Ars Magna she heard Touma had faced using it.

A question formed in Index's mind, How did Imagine Breaker negate things? Or more accurately, did it really just revert things to their normal state? Or was there something more to it?

"Aw, look at that! Our little Index is finally figuring it out!" he snarked, appearing in front of her. "Not that it'll help you, Curtana" he swung the blade at her.

Index bent away before the energy appeared, her jaws tearing through the dimensional severance spell. She used that moment to slam her leg against Kamijou no Touma. Sending him flying once more as she thought.

Kamijou no Touma could take the form of a dragon. Dragons could eat supernatural energy. So, in a weird way, she and him were similar. Both consume supernatural energies to help them evolve. But while Index devoured essences and added them to her own, Kamijou no Touma studied them. Applying their logic and rules to himself.

That term he used, SYSTEM. It was supposedly the pinnacle of esper powers, level 6 or something. Based on the fact it was specifically referred to 'god' and not 'a god'. If she had to guess, SYSTEM was the ability to calculate the universe itself. Everything from the smallest quark to the largest galaxy cluster. Up to even the phases and magic itself.

Kamijou no Touma and Imagine Breaker would record and store the data of everything negated. Over time, this built the calculations allowing Touma to predict the flow of supernatural energy. That is where his precognition came from. Index's eyes widened as she realized what Kamijou no Touma was doing.

He had surpassed the limits of Magic and science. Aliester had been developing him to account for both sides. All of the values existed in him, that's why he was sent into magic side conflicts. It was Aliester, inputting the values of each phase into him.

Once that was complete, Aliester could use him to reverse calculate back to the pure world. Destroying magic in the process, that's what SYSTEM was.

"Sweep!" Kamijou no Touma declared. And the sky erupted in fire.

However, it didn't matter, she told herself. He was still in her world, he was still in the bowels of the Devourer herself. And she could absorb anything he summoned in an instant. Index flicked her head and bit down, devouring all the flaming arrows.

"Now now, I can't be having that!" Kamijou no Touma sneered. His draconic attributes shifted to the dragon kings and he slammed his foot down. Instantly, Index noticed as he cut off and purified the area around them. "Dainsleif!" He smiled as the blade of Marian slinginyer appeared in his hands.

Index shifted her lower half to the armored serpent. Wrapping around Kamijou no Touma in an attempt to restrain him. Her heart was beating rapidly now. She needed to stop this imposter. She may have infinite potential, but this monster did too. And unlike her, he had been building his power up for a long, long time.

Kamijou no Touma was the ability, not the person. So, Touma was still in there somewhere, just in the back seat. She could feel it, she just needed to pull the imposter out of him without hurting the boy himself.

"Cut away Takama-ga-hara of Shinto. Summon Yomotsu-Shikome, the group of black impurities." Kamijou no Toma sneered. The mass of long filthy black hair that bust forth disgusted Index.

Vibrant purple flames burst forth from her hand and tore away the shinto god. Allowing her to consume the remaining essence. However, the distraction had allowed Kamijou no Touma to get away.

Turning Index's own hair writhed and launched forward, much like Coronzon's. She bit her lip, she couldn't defeat Kamijou no Touma without eating him. If she had Accelerator's ability, she could tear him from Touma with Clonoth.

As Kamijou no Touma sliced through her hair with Dainsleif. A dark thought emerged in Index's psyche.

Touma was the person inside, not the body. His consciousness, personality, memories, his soul? as long as those things still existed. It didn't matter if he had a physical body or not. She gulped, her mouth watering at the idea she just had.

Dashing forward, Kamijou no Touma sliced down again, knocking Index back. "Cut away Heaven of Sumeria. Summon Nammu, the mother of heaven and earth"

An immense beautiful sea dragon erupted from the void. With it came the birth of a world as the void was filled with land and sky. Rolling hills and a shining sun, a river to the side and a town in the distance.

Nammu, Tiamat, a primordial goddess of Sumeria and babylonian mythology. A beautiful woman who was turned into a dragon through misinterpretation. Index's arms came up, blocking the beings' strikes as purple flames erupted out.

Nammu, Tiamat roared in pain as Kamijou no Touma moved behind Index. Sheathing Dainsleif a moment, thus desummoning Nammu. He drew the blade in an instant, slicing Index's back.

She cried out and clamped her jaws around the blade, ripping it from the boy's hands.

If she couldn't defeat him without damaging Touma's body, then she wouldn't try that. She would devour his body and trap Touma's soul within her so he would be safe. She could bring him back whenever she felt like it after all.

Kamijou no Touma kicked off of her, and landed on the ground as a wind blew past. Index swallowed Dainsleif and wiped her jaws, her stomach growling.

"While I was hoping to play around a little more. I can't risk you eating me," Kamijou no Touma sighed. "So, it's about time I end this"

Index was puzzled for a moment as the boy held his right hand out. Then her eyes went wide as she saw what was forming before him.

Gold particles became shards, and those shards became a shaft as if watching Imagine Breaker work in reverse. Before she knew it, a large spear had formed in his hands

Launching herself forward, Index tried to ram the boy. She couldn't let him throw that spear.

But it only took him slamming her with the leaf shaped blade to send her hurtling back.

It was meant to be thrown

It could not be destroyed or shot down mid-flight.

It would always hit its target

It would return to the user after being thrown.

It destroyed all symbols of human power.

There were four people in this world who would recognize that spear. And one of them had been devoured by Index.

Birdway

Touma

Othinus

And Index herself.

Fear filled her as she looked up, if Kamijou no Touma threw that spear, if Kamijou no Touma threw Gungnir. It would tear her phase to shreds and leave her powerless if not dead. She hadn't evolved to the point where she could absorb it fast enough.

"Goodbye you gluttonous excuse of a wannabe god!" Kamijou no Touma sneered and pulled Gungnir back.

Was this it? Was everything she had done to protect Touma and his world for nothing? Did eating Othinus, the other magic gods and espers, sealing Touma within her own body. All amount just to her being taken out by a mere fake?

Would this fake saunter off after and continue to pretend to be him? The worst part was without her, no one would be able to see past his act. Let alone be able to defeat him.

Index closed her eyes, prepared for the inevitable strike that would shred into her. The image of that fake standing above all of Touma's friends with a deadly smirk. Almost caused a tear to go down her cheek as she felt that this was truly the end for her.

However, the all destroying spear never came.

Instead, the sound of glass shattering entered Index's ears and she opened her eyes. Seeing Kamijou no Touma's hand frozen in place, the spear, still in his grip. Sweat ran down his brow as he grit his teeth.

"Don't you dare… INSULT MY UNDERSTANDER LIKE THAT YOU FAILURE OF A EXCUSE FOR KAMIJOU TOUMA!" Her human cried out as Imagine Breaker crushed the spear in its grip. The fury in his voice Caused Index's heart to beat, not in fear… but in utter joy.

It was really him, Her Touma had saved her, like he always did, like he always would. A blush formed on her face and tears filled her eyes. Her hero, her understander, her fated partner had finally come back.

Kamijou no Touma snarled in utter disgust. He couldn't believe the audacity of this fucking failure stopping him. It was a slap to his face. "What the fuck are you doing! You shitty failure, I was about to save both our asses because you wouldn't use my full potential. and you choose now of all times to play the fucking hero!? Don't tell me you're trying to score points here." said Kamijou no Touma trying to regain control.

"Save our ass? SAVE OUR ASS!? THIS IS NOT HOW WE SAVE OUR ASSES!" The dragon king emerged from the Imagine Breaker and bit down on Kamijou no Touma. "WE DO NOT KILL! WE DO NOT TAKE LIVES, WE DON'T DECIDE WHO LIVES AND WHO DIES YOU GOT THAT!"

Kamijou no Touma could feel him losing control. He always hated the fact that that failure could easily regain control. The Dragon king emerged from his right hand and bit down on the fake. "GYAAAHHHHHHHHHHRHRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGG!" Kamijou no Touma cied in blood curdling agony.

Index felt a smile form on her face, her heart beating faster than ever. The white Dragon slipped back into Touma's right hand as she watched in awe. She wished this moment would last an eternity.

Seeing her hero come to her rescue. Index looked at the scene in front of her, mesmerized by Touma's action to save her, causing a warm feeling in her chest, like her heart was about to burst. Her hero Touma Kamijou had come to save her once again.

Opening his eyes Touma spoke. "You're doing this all wrong! Not using your full potential? Don't give me that crap!, There's no point of winning if I lose What matters most to me!"`

"You fucking idiot! You really think you'll be able to beat her if you don't use my full power? you really are a fool." Kamijou no Touma hissed out. "Just look at her, she's gone to the point of no return, she's fully prepared to devour us both and if she does we're both screwed,"he snapped angrily.

"Beat her?" Touma asked as he stood. "It's not about beating Index, it's about saving her." He gave his own shit eating grin.

Kamijou no Touma roared in annoyance. "Same fucking difference you idiotic asshole! At this point you Might as well serve yourself on a platter. Cover yourself in chocolate caramel drizzle, and say eat me I'm yours!

"There's a huge difference!" Touma snapped back. "You just wanted to take the easy way out, label her as evil and defeat her. That's not how Kamijou Touma does things! If your my power, then you will fucking obey me!."

He took a breath as he grit his teeth. "Do you hear me Kamijou no Touma? Don't you dare cheapen my resolve by ignoring the consequences! I don't need to use all your power, just the bare minimum. So, you can fucking keep it! I'll show you what it means to be Kamijou Toumaby finishing this with that and my right hand alone! I won't turn away from my misfortune by taking your easy route. I'll shed blood sweat and tears taking the route where everyone comes out smiling"

Making his vow he raised his head, his eyes burning with determination. "So, you stay the fuck out of this."

There was a shudder, and then the power that Kamijou no Touma had used earlier was locked away. Leaving Touma with the power of the dragons as all he had to face, Index.

Looking up at her, he flashed her a smile. "Sorry you had to see that Index… I'm here to save you now"

Index starred, still mesmerized by the boy before her. Blinking, she shook her head and stood. Looking him in the eyes, her lips quivered. Nothing needed to be said, yet she still wanted to confirm one thing. "W-Will you keep fighting?" Index stuttered nervously.

"Absolutely," Touma declared, clenching his fist.

"Even if your body is falling apart?" Index asked shakily, her fist held to her chest.

He nodded, "even if all that's left of me is my head and arm… I will still fight"

Index looked down, having had Touma confirm her suspicions with his own words. "I see.." she said, tears falling down her face.

She took a deep breath and sighed. "Since you won't accept the life you so righteously deserve," her head rose, an unstable smile on her face as tears poured down it. "I'll devour you and trap your soul in my body so you can't get hurt again, don't worry Touma I'll make this quick"

Touma raised his fist before him and met her eyes. "I'm not going to let you become a monster Index." psychedelic fibers burst out wrapping around his arms and legs. "So, let me shatter that illusion first!" he shouted, kicking forward as Index lunged.

And so, the Dragon and the Devourer, clashed once more.

Celt Eislyn frowned in silence as she carved a number of swirling patterns onto the head and handle of a hammer. Lessar was to the side, fittingly working on a lightning rod that was to be Zeus's lightning bolt. Misaka was with her as the two bickered about the item.

The reason for Celt's silence was standing just across from her.

Shutaura Sequenzia, she would glare at Celt every so often as they worked. Only speaking to give input on the spiritual items.

Worse, Celt knew the awkward silence was her fault, and she didn't like it. Taking a breath, she decided she needed to break the silence.

"Shutarua?" she asked, and the girl looked at her with a narrow gaze.

"What, Celt?" Shutura glared suspiciously.

Celt sighed, "I'm sorry for tricking you. I let my fear control me and used you." She put the hammer down and passed it over to Saten who nodded and brought it over to the piggyback team. "I don't expect your forgiveness. Nor do I think I deserve it, I tried to kill a boy both of you cared deeply for."

She grabbed the next Item, and began to work on it.

Shutaura was silent a moment before she sat down in front of her. "At least you know where you went wrong and apologized." She crossed her arms, her glower softening slightly. "Part of me wants to say you should have suffered… But another part knows that would be wrong." She blinked and pointed, "ah… you'll probably want to affix the symbol of Ragnarock to the mouthpiece."

Celt chuckled, "I understand, If it helps… I did in fact enjoy our time together." Celt responded as she took Shutaura's advice. Affixing the symbol of Ragnarock to the mouthpiece of the horn she was working on. "Huh, your right Mic-Shutaura, considering the Gjallarhorn would sound the start of Ragnarok. The mere act of blowing it would be a symbol."

"If you think that flattery will make me forgive you, you're wrong. We won't be a thing again," Shutaura told her.

"And I wouldn't want us to be a thing again," Celt revealed. "I may have enjoyed your company… but you, aren't the one for me." She carefully carved the name of Mimir next to the image of a well on the horn.

Shutaura smiled as she decided to help, handing Celt tools when she needed them. "I'll take that as a compliment," she stated.

"It is, trust me." Celt's expression fell, "all of my suitors died protecting me you know. So, it's probably for the best that you aren't the one."

"How old are you?" Shutaura asked, flipping the Gjallarhorn over. "If you've had multiple suitors. It does stand to reason you are older than you look."

"Not sure, but last time I checked I was over 200." She casually noted, handing the Gjallarhorn off, and moved on to the next item.

Shutaura frowned, "I'm not sure how to take that." she stated. "It's not exactly ethical to have a relationship with someone underaged."

"Neither is using children as soldiers and law enforcement," Celt pointed out. "Take judgment for example. Young impressionable teens, trained by adults to fight dangerous individuals and arrest them. Be they a level 0 with a gun to even one of the level 5s who each act as an army. Child endangerment is not a light crime, love."

"Touche," Shutaura snorted. "Still, you do realize you could be arrested for pedophilla."

Celt paused and blinked, "Huh… never really thought about that" she stated. Gesturing to herself she continued. "As you can see I don't exactly age like you humans. Although I understand the concept. Most of you live up to around 80 with a few small exceptions who lived to be over 100." She crossed her arms a moment. "However, because it doesn't apply to me. It's hard to come across individuals like me. Who'll live centuries and in some cases indefinitely."

Shutarua looked disgusted for a moment. "What does that have to do with you being a pedophile?. It's a horrible crime, one of the worst actually."

"You do realize your laws don't take into account immortality. After all, they were designed under the assumption you were human. I really doubt that 19th century Europe even considered the idea that there were races other than humans around. If I hadn't told you I was over 200 you'd have assumed I was around 15-16." Celt pointed out.

"That doesn't change the fact you know how old you are. And yet you're still willing to be in relationships with people much younger than you" Shutaura noted.

Celt scoffed "Othinus was well over two millennia old, and yet you didn't mention that when Ollerus talked about her and Mac-Kamijou"

Shutarua made a fish face for a moment. "Th-that's different!" she stated.

"Is it?" Celt asked, "I beg to differ, it's the exact same. You didn't question it because of the fact the two held no ill will towards the other. That's why it was fine for them, but with me I used you so that's why you question it."

Shutaura was silent as Celt continued."While I'm only over 200 and she was thousands of years old. The fact remains we are both much older than our partners. The only difference is why we chose them."

Celt gave a sad smile, "Not to mention, after my first suitor all of my suitors were younger than me." She looked up with a forlorn gaze. "My first… she was quite the forward girl. I was a shy timid thing and she was an eccentric excitable inventor. I think… I was about 18? It was around 1790 she was 24. Ran into her when one of her prototypes got out of control."

Celt chuckled and shook her head. "Couldn't tell you how much smoke I ended up breathing in because of it. She quickly helped me up and apologized. I felt so overwhelmed by her radiance and became a stuttering mess."

Silence fell a moment before Celt looked back at Shutaura. "Point is. I don't age, so you can't judge me by a system that is made based on the assumption that I do."

Tapping her foot Shutaura sighed, handing a tool to Celt as she worked. "I guess that makes sense. How would you judge it then?" she asked.

Celt thought for a moment, "Intent," she stated. "Does the person in question actually love the person themselves? Or are they only interested in something they have." She handed the tool back before giving the spiritual item over to the piggyback team.

"Take Othinus and mac-Kamijou for example." Celt stated, "She was thousands of years old. And undoubtedly had many people vying to be her sutor. In fact, she probably had any number of them. But It was only Mac-Kamijou whom she ended up developing a pure love for. She may have originally sought him for his right hand. But she loves him for who the boy is."

She examined an object as she continued, "I do, however, agree a certain level of mental maturity should be considered. Generally the reason why pedophiles target children is because of control. They have no interest in the person. But rather the fact that they can take advantage of their undeveloped mind."

She crossed her arms and shrugged. "There are of course exceptions such as James Matthew Barrie. A man with a seemingly unhealthy obsession with boyhood. However, because he never did anything. You humans never noticed till years later when a letter he had sent to Michale Davies was discovered."

Shuaura held her chin, "huh… an interesting way of putting it… so It's not about control for you?" she asked.

Celt laughed, "Good heavens no Love, If anything, It's the opposite. I serve the ones I love, and if they fall for someone else? I'll support them. I don't generally see things in terms of age, but rather beauty of the soul. So, it's hard for me to understand the fixation on things like looks"

"I guess… doesn't stop me from feeling uncomfortable." Shutaura grimaced, "or how morally dubious it is"

Shrugging, Celt stood up. "Fair enough, however, thats my problem not yours. I'm going to go check on some of the others. Are you good here love?" she asked, turning.

"Yeah, I'll be fine, probably join Misaka, it seems her and Lessar aren't getting along." Shutaura went over to the wrestling pervert, and Railgun while Celt left.

As she wandered across the Sargasso, a few voices caught her attention.

"No, The blade needs to be thrusted through her lower jaw." She saw Muireann talking to Kuroko. "In the binding of Fenrir the blade was used to prop his jaws open to keep them from closing."

Kuroko frowned, "okay… sorry, I'm still trying to understand this… magic stuff." She shook her head.

"That's alright Kuroko love~" Celt winked at the girl teasingly. "Magic itself isn't as complicated as it looks. But it does take trial and error, practice and refinement to become skilled at."

Muireann rolled her eyes and walked off. Celt didn't really like the cold icequeen version of her. To be honest, the young selkie was practically an adopted daughter for her. Which made things a bit awkward for her.

So, she reached out and grabbed her shoulder. "Muireann dear…am I bothering you?" she asked.

A large amount of guilt built in her stomach. She had tried to kill Muireann out of a misguided sense of justice. Betraying the trust of her friend and Muireann's father.

"I… I'm sorry about what I did to you… I should never have done that. And I will do whatever I must to make it right." Celt said nervously, trying her best not to mess up.

"Your constant flirtation is distracting." Muireann said with an odd expression, completely throwing Celt off guard. It almost felt like a bad joke, but that wasn't really possible. She lacked her emotions even if she had made a promise to the Calleach herself.

Celt laughed, "Oh… I'm sorry, I didn't think that was what made you uncomfortable," Celt pulled her hand away.

Kuroko sighed, "Soo… does she flirt with every girl she sees?" she asked Muireann.

The snow queen nodded, "yes… however there's no time for that now." She turned and walked towards the artificial cave.

The entire sargasso suddenly shook violently. Cracks appearing in the air a little ways behind them. Muireann stumbled and fell over, Kuroko fell backward to her rear, and Celt struggled to stay standing.

"Muireann!" Celt shouted and ran forward. She didn't know what those cracks meant, but they weren't good. Seagulls were fleeing from the area and she could see the magicians and Espers scattering. The cracks began to emanate intense white light like it was about to explode.

"Celt Are you insane!? get away from there!" Kuroko shouted. But Celt ignored her, Muireann was directly in line with those cracks. And if she was right about what was going to emerge.

She had to get the girl out of there… now.

Time slowed as she knocked Muireann out of the way towards Kuroko who was off to the side. The cracks burst as a white figure flew past her head. A demon hanging off their neck and large platinum wings spread behind them.

Following it, was an immense armored vibrant purple serpent. Its mandibled jaws opened wide to engulf anything in their path.

Without a partner, Celt had no real power of her own. So, she could not escape or run. Smiling, tears fell from her eyes as she saw Muireann reaching out her hand in shock.

'Now now young Muireann…' Celt thought to herself. 'Go save your little coat thief'

And then the jaws of the devourer engulfed her.

However, she was at peace, even as purple flames licked her body and tore at her physical form. A small smile on her face as she accepted her fate. She at least made up for one mistake. If she was to die here, then at least she could trust her family was safe.

'My loves… my dear loves… I'm coming.' she thought and closed her eyes.

"You're not going to avoid punishment that easily! Celt Eislyn!" Kuroko's voice shouted.

Celts eyes went wide as she saw Kuroko gritting her teeth as she clung to the devourer's jaw, holding Celt's hand. Lost for Words, Celt only Stared at the girl as her hand slipped.

Falling forward, fear welled up within Celt as she saw Kuroko pale. The purple glowing fluids tearing at their bodies.

"Shi-" Kuroko began to swear, pulling Celt close. But was cut off as the two were enveloped by the gaping abyss of the Devourer's throat. Fleshy walls squeezing at their forms as they were forced down.

Kuroko swiped her hands at the darts at her thighs, but nothing happened. Heart beating rapidly, Celt was sure they would both die.

"You… utter foolish idiot!" Celt shouted as her body screamed in agony. "Now we're both going to be eaten, love! Why couldn't you just let me be!"

Kuroko pulled the dart out and jammed it into the side of The Devourer's throat as they were tossed about. It didn't even slow their descent as an ominous purple glow began to emanate from their destination.

"I thought I could teleport, now shut up and let me focus!" Kuroko shouted as glowing mucus exposing her chest muscles.

Celt's eyes closed as the area opened up around them. A glowing purple sea of acid just below them. Pulling herself close to Kuroko, she felt her mind race. She knew if they fell into that, they would die.

Just before they fell into fluids, Celt mentally cried out, fear overwhelming her. 'Please… forgive me loves… but I don't want to die…'

'Someone, please save us'

Kuroko's eyes widened as inspiration hit, and then.

She teleported, the world swirling around them.

She looked like an otherworldly angel to Celt. The way she moved through space, the way her AIM danced and flickered. It was beautiful in ways the Leann Sith couldn't describe. She felt her heart beat rapidly as the world curled around them.

Even as Kuroko teleported, purple flames licked at their bodies. Tearing at their physical forms in an attempt to expose their essence. The two rolled across the ground just in time to see Index return to her human form and slam Accelerator through reality again. The cracks closing behind the two.

Celt Turned to Kuroko with shock. "Are you mad?! You could have been devoured too!" she shouted.

"I'm Judgment! I can't just let someone die when I can save them! Besides, you still need to stand trial for what you've done!" Kuroko shouted and Celt found herself speechless.

Kuroko smirked and flicked her hair. "Besides, Onee-sama handled herself" she pointed at Misaka, who had pulled multiple people out of the way before Index's jaws had passed them.

The judgment girl vanished to check on the others, leaving Celt there. Her hand went to her chest and she chuckled. "Alright… hero… my… hero" she smiled.

She had found her muse, the one who'd inspire her.

Index's jaws snapped closed just before Accelerator and he swore. Smashing through multiple buildings he crashed into the ground creating an immense crater. Earthquakes rippling through the area around them.

He flapped his wings and smacked them into Index. Sending her back and through a skyscraper. Dodgeding to the side, he just barely avoided the immense armored serpent form of Index that crashed into where he had just been.

As shocking as it may seem, Accelerator had never truly beaten a full magic god. Even when he fought Nephtys, she had been weakened to the point she was no longer a god. And even then her defeat was questionable as legit as by that point her goal had been achieved.

He caught a glimpse of the magic god calling herself Prosephone before she vanished. The armored tail of the devourer, tearing through the place she had just been. It was obvious how much the gods feared Index. Running the moment they felt she had spotted them.

Accelerator quickly struck at Index with his wings. The resulting spark caused by the phases sending the two combatants hurtling through an unfamiliar landscape. Large marble pillars surrounded them. Human-looking figures wearing greek togas scattered back from the newcomers.

Accelerator could not create phases, nor could he destroy them. His wings only allowed him to use what already existed. However, most phases were layered over the whole of reality, allowing him to access them at will. Index's phase and the ones she had devoured. Only existed physically inside her. This meant he had to physically touch her to affect them.

But that exact reason is what was keeping him alive now.

"Master, her behavior has changed." Qliphah noted, as the mandibles of the devourer snapped forward. Accelerator ducked down and tore a chunk of the marble halls they were in apart, throwing it at Index. "She's honestly trying to eat you right now"

Accelerator scoffed as Index's jaws tore through it and enveloped a terrified man with winged boots. "YOU THINK!?" he shouted sarcastically, as Index's tail slammed into him.

They fell through the air, the building they were in was revealed to be on an immense mountain above the clouds. Index burst forth in her human form again, this time dashing across the mountain's side.

"Give me something useful!" Accelerator's heart beat rapidly as he pulled at the energy of the phase around them. Electricity coiled into a lightning bolt in his hands and he threw it, striking Index.

Qliphah grimaced, "alright, well first things first… we're falling off Olympus if it wasn't obvious." Index kicked off the mountain side, utterly obliterating it as she turned into the armored serpent once more.

Acceleration pulled his wings close just as Index's jaws slammed around him. Eyes wide, a crackling was heard as the world stretched around them and they broke through reality. This time, crashing into an immense Ziggurat.

"Correction… now we're in Mesopotamia and Uruk specifically" the demon quickly said. She bit her lip nervously as Accelerator parried Index's blow and shouts were heard around them.

Index's hands clawed at Accelerator and. Vibrant purple flames carving through the air. She grabbed Accelerator's neck, causing Qliphah's eyes to widen in fear.

The esper however grinned and his wings slammed into her, sending her crashing through the building. "What? Am I gonna hear some arrogant gilded brat with gold portals calling me a mongrel?" he mocked, sweat rolling down his brow.

His wing whipped out, intercepting and deflecting a spear of phasal consuming energy. It carved through the wing but barely missed Accelerator. He was really only making jokes to help focus right now. His confidence was severely waning so he decided snide comments would help.

"Um… you mean that's a really bad representation of Gilgamesh?" Qliphah asked. "That's just the interpretation of that one story… though it may have influenced the overall myths because of popularity." She gulped slightly as Index formed a singularity in her hand and tossed it.

"Shit!" Accelerator bent sideways, Qliphah clinging closer to his neck. The singularity detonated above the ancient city. Radiation and heat erupted out as Index smacked aside a bare, dark skinned blond woman holding a bow.

She even treated gods as an afterthought in her pursuit of Accelerator. Her strike, sending the fertility goddess through the ground below.

Index appeared in front of Accelerator and grinned, kicking him. An immense rift opened in the air behind him and Accelerator swore, barely ducking under the gap. Saliva and pearly whites, visible on the other side.

The rift snapped shut with Index's jaws. The woman from before, getting caught on the wrong side. Appearing again before Accelerator, a glittering cosmic blade formed in Index's hand. She swung it as Accelerator bent back and slammed his wing into her side.

She went hurtling through the air and he gave chase. The ocean speeding by below them. A roar was heard from Index and she slammed her foot into Accelerator. He coughed feeling his body nearly get vaporized, as he was sent through the world again.

Not far behind him Index tore through reality and her jaws nearly caught his foot. Accelerator pulled a lower phase and forced them both through. This disorientated Index just enough for him to send a wing into her gut.

Index gagged, as Accelerator tugged at her phase. She snapped at him, forcing Accelerator to leap back as they stumbled around an immense underground world around them however was slowly crumbling vibrant purple cracks slowed down only by large golden constructs.

"Qliphah?" Accelerator asked and the demon nodded.

"Good place to crash, Svartalfheim, nidivlinere whatever you want to call it. The home of the dwarves of norse myths"

Accelerator bit his lip. "What? You think I have time for a fucking commission?!" he shouted expasperated. pulling the phasal energy around him. An immense gold hammer appeared in his hand.

Index instantly leapt forward, but Accelerator moved just fast enough. The hammer crashed into her with the crack of thunder before it changed to a blade.

But a rift opened in front of him and mandibles launched out. Hot moist air flowing forward from it. Acceleraore deflected them and bent around the maw of the devourer. Striking Index behind it with the sword.

She roared in pain, her jaws instead catching a dark skinned bystander. But showed no real damage. All injuries instantly healed, as she backhanded him. The local Deverger's scattering after she devoured one of their own.

The sword leaving his hand he crashed through the world again. Slamming into an unimaginably beautiful being. That instantly vanished the moment Index burst through.

Back in the new world now, Accelerator kicked Index's jaw, sending her skyward. Following her he brought his wings forward and around. Slamming them into Index's side, she was sent out of orbit and crashed through mars.

Before his eyes had a time to blink. Index was already in front of him again as she slammed into him. The two hurtling to the eastern hemisphere of the planet. Their speed caused fusion reactions as the new world's earth was enveloped in fire.

They became a streak of light as Index burst into the armored serpent once more, her jaws open to welcome the esper.

Index was desperate, as her jaws snapped at Accelerator. She needed to eat him, and she needed to do it now. Kamijou no Touma would kill her if she didn't. As she plowed into the new world sargasso her and Accelerator broke through the world again.

They burst forth into the old world and Accelerator quickly retreated from her. Index chasing after him. Screams and cries around her went ignored even as she swallowed two figures.

Whatever and whoever they were didn't matter. Just like Hermes, Ishtar, and that deverger before. They would either be resurrected later, or she would add them to her library. Even if they somehow managed to escape she didn't care.

Only Accelerator mattered.

She struck Accelerator, sending him through the world once more as she chased after him. Distorting space as she snapped her jaws forward in an attempt to devour him as they returned to the new world.

Fractures closing behind them, Accelerator slammed a fist into Index's chest. She was sent hurtling outward as he chased her. Index snarled and gestured, the space around him began to bend inwards. Trapping him within a distorted prison much like a black hole.

Index's mouth closed around it as Accelerator tried to figure a way out. Light from outside was cut off as he stumbled across Index's tongue.

"M master!" Qlipah shrieked as two inner mandibles swung inward from the devourer's jawline. Accelerator pierced his wings into the flesh below him causing Index's eyes to fly wide.

Grabbing the Aztec phase, a flash occurred as Accelerator burst from a window's reflection. He swung his wing up, bringing the energy of Clonoth forth to strike her.

Index ducked her head aside and bit the wing and tore through the energy. Accelerator stumbled as she swallowed. A gesture was made and space contorted before Accelerator was fired upwards into the sky.

He swore, seeing Index's palm clench before releasing. Bright white-light erupted out, and Accelerator found himself crashing into earthen ground. Finding himself looking up at the sky he ducked aside as Index's foot crashed into the ground causing the land they were on to split.

"Shit! She just created a phase!" Accelerator swore before a high-pitched crackling was heard and Index's jaws snapped.

A pitch black sphere appeared in her palm pulling spacetime into it as vibrant purple cracks ran through the air itself. It tore at Accelerator's flesh as Index proceeded to devour the phase she had just created.

A sci fi city in the distance began to crumble. Screams and cries echoed around them as people began to burn. "Why won't you just give up and let me eat you Accelerator!" Index cried out. "I need you to save Touma, to protect him!"

"I thought I was part of the damn hero's world you hypocrite!" Accelerator snapped back as he slammed his wings down, pulling Clonoth's protection around him. The world around them collapsed into the sphere in Index's palm and she popped it into her mouth. Swallowing the entire phase she had just created.

Not a thought had gone to the lives that existed in that phase, and that terrified Accelerator. Truly the girl before him was no longer the nun he met all those months back. She had truly adopted the mentality of a god.

"That was before that fake! decided to take him over! That was before I realized Touma will continue to try and escape unless I rid him of his power and physical form!" Index pleaded. "If I don't do this, If I don't eat you, Touma will always be throwing himself into danger. I can't take it, I can't take it… I CAN'T LOSE HIM AGAAAAAIINNN!"

Index burst forward, the worm once more erupting forth. Her mandibles caught him in their grip as they hurtled towards the new world's earth once more.

They burst forth from the new world and crashed into the city of Bergen in Norway. Index's massive serpentine form, crushing buildings as it sprawled across the coastline and bay.

Lifting her head she attempted to pull Accelerator into her jaws again. But the boy was having none of it. Instead slamming her head with Clonoth energy, forcing her to let go as he flew away.

She roared and chased, her serpentine form launching into the sky. Once more she undid the damage of their crash, treating life so cheaply. Accelerator's eyes caught one of the resurrected people. A boy with red hair shaking with what looked like pure terror as a girl clung to him.

Ducking aside a cold feeling bult in Accelerator's stomach. "Qliphah… the people she's resurrecting… they remember being killed don't they?" he asked, as he and Index hurtled across the Norwegian skies.

"Yes… they do master" the demon confirmed his worst fear. And Accelerator felt fury build inside him.

Whipping around a mass of platinum energy in his hand, it collided with Index's head and erupted out. Forcing her back into her normal form as Accelerator grappled with her in the air. They shattered through the world again and into the new world as Index raised her hand.

Creating another phase, the two crashed onto the hull of an immense starship as Index ducked aside. A beam from another ship in the distance fired at them and Accelerator leapt as the singularity ray carved through the vessel below them.

Vanishing, Index left Accelerator inside the phase as vibrant purple cracks appeared in space. The reality around him rapidly disintegrated. Accelerator swore and swung around one of the singularity rays. Using Clonoth's power to slip through it and exit the phase.

Appearing behind Index, he slammed his foot into her as she swallowed the phase she had tried to trap him in.

The two drifted in the air a moment before Accelerator spoke. "Do you… have any idea how many innocent lives have been ruined because of our fight!?" he shouted at her, Qliphah looked away and nodded.

"What do you mean!? I brought them all back! No one's died!" Index cried out. "I fixed it, I fixed their deaths! I said I'd protect Touma's world so I'm doing so! I won't let anyone die because of my actions!"

"LIAR!" Accelerator shouted, "sure the civilians and normal people who've been caught in our wake are alive. But they still died! And you can't change that."

Accelerator flew forward and struck down with a column of light. Before swinging his wings around and striking Index on the side. "How many people do you think you've just Traumatized!? How many people have screamed, and burned? How many lives are forever changed for the worse because of you!

Index roared out and the world shook. Multiple phases burst from her palms and were compressed into a blade as she slammed it against Accelerator. He cried out in agony as his body was torn at, from inside. Sparks, sprays, the collision of phases nearly send him unconscious.

"I can fix them!I can erase those memories! And I will, none of them should have experienced that!" Index shouted as she created a phase around Accelerator and forced it to collapse.

Accelerator barely made it out, only to be met with Index's jaws as she tried to eat him again.

Slamming his foot against her they were sent hurtling across the sky again as they fought mid air.

Index gestured and an armored tail erupted from thin air wrapping around Accelerator. He smacked it back at Index and it faded, Index behind him. She grabbed the back of his head and dove slamming him into the east sea. The flash of light that occurred showed they once more crossed back into the old world.

A tsunami occurred as water was instantly vaporized by their impact. And Index just as casually reversed it. The two of them slugged each other underwater. Causing shockwaves to burst forth. Cavitation bubbles, being formed from each strike.

Kicking her upwards, Accelerator burst from the ocean as he grabbed Hinduism and Buddhism, slamming them against each other. The resulting conflicting spark struck Index, causing her to gag and cry out.

"Erasing their memories!? The fuck would that fix? They still died! Besides you know perfectly well how important memories are!" He shouted back.

Index panted, drool falling from her jaws as she wiped them. "It… It would ensure they didn't have the trauma… isn't… isn't that the right thing… the godly thing to do!?" she asked. A broken twisted smile began to form on her face. "Cure the pain of humanity! Isn't that what a god is meant to do!?" she cried out.

Accelerator slammed against Index with Christianity, before grabbing Buddhism again and striking her with it. The two phases' powers amplified each other and sent Index flying, screaming through the air as she ignited.

"WE DIDN'T ASK FOR YOUR SO CALLED SHITTY SALVATON YOU DUMB WANNABE DEMON LORD!" Accelerator shouted as he appeared above her.

Once more the two were above the Sargasso as Accelerator slammed down. Shatting back into the new world they crashed onto the sargasso obliterating the new world's earth in its entirety.

In Index's moment of shock, Accelerator drove his wings into her stomach. They burrowed into her phase looking for something… anything to use against Index.

Index's hand whipped out and she grabbed at Qliphah. Instead pulling Accelerator's shoulder to her. She bit down causing him to cry out in agony as she began draining his aim.

"MASTER!" Qliphah cried out as she kicked at Index's head to no avail.

Then… something, grabbed Accelerator's wing from within Index. Her jaws suddenly let go as a look of despair filled her.

"N… no! Please don't do that" she begged him. "DON'T TAKE TOUMA FROM MEEEEE!"

A savage grin grew on Accelerator's face as light began pouring out from Index.

And he pulled.

A/N: This chapter took a lot of effort to write. I started with KnT v Index to show just how outclassed even she was against him. While using it to also give my own explanation to Touma's real ability. But I also had to find a reasonable way to nerf him without nerfing him. Hence his Vow to only use the bare minimum power necessary.

The Sargasso scene was a bit of character exploration between Celt and Shutaura but also served to show the collateral damage of Index vs Accelerator. How their battle nearly costed Kuroko and Celt their lives due to how little they were paying attention to the world around them. I do hope you got a good laugh out of Celt falling for the eternally Misaka sexual known as Kuroko.

Index Vs Accelerator was placed after that scene specifically because it was their PoV and showed how little they focused on the world around them. Having them crash through different phases and Index not paying much attention to even gods like poor Hermes that she just accidentally eats. While also showcasing how twisted Index's mindset has become that she treats human life so lightly that she will just resurrect them without thought to mental trauma that she's inflicted. Having Index create phases only to devour them just furthered that point. While also hopefully eliminating the worries of me handicapping her.

I do hope you guys enjoyed my Explanation behind Accel's plat wings and how they worked while also noting why he wasn't MG leveled.

Take it away Rails..

DragonRails:{ Hey readers I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, I'm sure a few of you readers were eager for an update so Me and Cray decided to really get into this chapter so its length was greatly increased. With Crays ideas and my overlooking we managed to get a lot of ideas onto the doc, so I'm eager to see what you readers think about it.

As for KNT i saw that you readers were eager to see what was going to happen with his apparent takeover, I Have to thank Cray for letting me have more input on the KNT stuff in my opinion KNT reminded me bit of Ichigo's Hallow form (from bleach) with his arrogance and craziness from the beginning of the series and a bit of gilgamesh (from Fate) with his cockyness and God complex which from my point of view sorta fit KNT so when i saw what Cray had originally i really felt like i could improve it and really try to go for bigger emotional part when it came to Knt vs Index as well as some of the Celt and Shutaura scene with me and Cray taking the time to get it right I felt like we managed to get the emotional parts of the chapter down.

BlueJack22 {I know right! I felt the same Index would've gotten some character development, plus I could see Knt really pushing her buttons and being a bit of an ass}

Whwsms{ I really felt like the beginning of this chapter had to start off in a big Oh shit! Index is in for it now kinda moment and so having him pretty much show just how opposite he is from the Touma she knows I felt there was going to have to be a big hype for when the takeover occurred}

OK so enough of my rambling I hope you all enjoyed the chapter and its length to be honest it sorta surprised us both..
