-At the Young Devil Gathering Party Venue-

The venue was filled with the buzzing conversation of shocked young devils.

"How was that possible?" one devil asked.

"It must have been a fluke," another said.

"I heard they were not going to use their full powers," yet another said.

"That other guy must have cheated somehow," a devil said.

"Who was that young man?" Odin asked Azazel who was standing next to him with a grin on his face.

"Well as you heard from Ajuka he is a demon, and if you remember the events from your prime you should remember the demon scourge that plagued the world during that time," Azazel said.

"I remember, those were some of the hardest battles we fought, they were quite a powerful foe. The greatest mystery would be how they came to be and how they suddenly disappeared," Odin said as he reminisced on the past.

"Well I don't have any answers for the two questions but he might," Azazel said as he motioned to Natsu who was just appearing out of the dimension with Serafall in his arms.

"I think it would be best to allow him to get the young Leviathan some medical attention before I bother him," Odin observed.

"I think that is a wise decision," Sirzechs said as he walked up to the two.

"So how does it feel to get your ass whooped in front of so many young devils," Azazel asked Sirzechs while trying to keep his laughter from spilling out.

"I can't say I'm pleased by the results but then again considering who we were up against it and the fact that it might serve as a lesson for the younger generation who have become quite overconfident in their abilities, I'd say I can accept this defeat with my head held high," Sirzechs answered.

"Now I'm really interested in who this guy is," Odin said with a grin.

"I will have to agree with you on that lord Odin," Ajuka said as he walked up to the group.

"So even you were kept in the dark," Odin said in surprise.

"You can thank Serafall for that," Ajuka replied.

"Why don't you go and greet your old partner Irina?" Michael asked the brunette that had accompanied him to this gathering.

"Hey guys," Irina greeted the devils as she made her way over to them. She was immediately embraced by Xenovia.

"I never expected to see you here in the underworld," Xenovia greeted her friend with a smile.

"When Michael asked me to join him when he came here on business I couldn't refuse. I wanted to see you again and see how you were doing since you left the Church," Irina told her friend.

"I've been well thank you, and it seems like your life is going along well," Xenovia replied with a smile.

"Let's leave them to reconnect for a while and go meet some of the other devils here," Rias suggested.

"I'm going to find Natsu," Akeno announced and went to first find Grayfia since she was sure to know where Natsu might be, and she wouldn't put it past the demon dragon to pull some sort of a fun stunt with the Norse who were in attendance.

"I might go and talk to Sairaorg, want to join Issei? " Kiba asked.

"Would you mind if I join as well?" Saji asked as he followed Sona and Tsubaki to the group.

"Sure thing," Issei said before they headed out to find the strongest of the younger generation.

"Natsu sure put up a fun performance," Sona said with a giggle as she reached Rias.

"Aren't you worried about your sister?" Rias asked the Sitri heir.

"I went to check up on her the moment Natsu brought her back. He said that she would be fine and just needed some rest," Sona replied.

"That's good to hear, I wonder what it was that he did to her, I have never seen a spell that managed to render a Satan completely unable to move," Rias said.

"He said something about a curse," Wendy said.

"How did you hear that?" Rias asked in surprise.

"I'm not sure but ever since the first time, I trained with Natsu my senses have become a lot more sensitive. Natsu said it had to do with my magic," Wendy said with an innocent look.

"Your hearing must be quite good, seeing that I didn't hear anything," Koneko said. Her Nekomata heritage gave the enhanced hearing but all she could hear from when Natsu attacked Serafall was incomprehensible murmurs.

"Well, that would be because she has hearing comparable to a Dragon," Natsu's voice sounded from right behind Koneko. The white-haired devil quickly straightened up and swung her fist at the man behind her, not realising it was Natsu.

The gathered devils felt a strong wind blow through the hall and turned their attention to the source. There stood Natsu in his human form with Koneko's fist in his hand.

"Seems like he is done with Serafall," Azazel told Odin, gesturing to Natsu. Odin gestured to the beautiful woman he was with to follow him.

The two Norse made their way over to the victor of the show match.

"Hello there young man, I am Odin, leader of the Norse," Odin greeted the pink-haired man.

"So you are the current leader of the Norse," Natsu turned around and offered the man a grin.

"That was quite an interesting match," Odin complimented Natsu.

"Well, I believe you are here for more than just pleasant greetings," Natsu grinned at the old man.

"Quite perceptive of you, that was indeed the thing I wanted to find out the most. It's a pleasant sight to see the youth being so perceptive," Odin replied with a smile.

"You might be surprised by the fact that I am quite close to your age, if not older," Natsu replied with a smirk overtaking his grin.

"That is quite the claim, but how is it possible for you to look so young then?" Odin asked. He was envious of the young-looking man.

"The reason I still look so young is due to what I am, and I suspect that you know at least a bit of what I am thanks to Ajuka," Natsu replied.

"So you are a demon, but you are quite different from the demons that I remember from my youth," Odin said with interest.

"Sadly I won't reveal all that to you just yet, since I just met you and I don't with what I can trust you with," Natsu said.

"No need, it's always better to air on the side of caution, but that being said, I hope we will come to a point where you will be able to trust me with your origin," Odin replied with a smile.

"Now mind introducing me with the lovely lady behind you," Natsu inquired while looking at the silver-haired maiden behind him.

"My apologies, this one of my Valkyries, Rossweisse, she helps me with my duties from time to time," Odin introduced the Valkyrie.

"A Valkyrie you say, they are supposed to be powerful warriors right," Natsu asked with a hint of excitement.

"Yes, as the guards of Odin the Valkyries must be prepared for any threats," Rossweisse replied while standing up straight.

"No Natsu, you can't ask her to fight with you," Grayfia said as she made her presence known. Natsu turned towards her with a bright smile, which only got brighter when he saw that Akeno was behind her.

"I was wondering where the two of you were," Natsu said with a smile as he embraced his two mates.

"We were looking for you but when we got to where you left Serafall to rest you were already gone," Grayfia told her mate.

"Sorry about that Fia, but we are here now," Natsu replied.

"Well, I want to congratulate you on your victory, and I heard from Sirzechs that he wanted you to be present during the meeting that will take place soon," Grayfia informed him.

"You really kicked butt out there Natsu," Akeno said as she gave him a loving smile.

"The fight was fun, but now I just want to face them when we are all using our full power," Natsu said with a crazed grin. This got a mix of reaction.

Akeno let out a giggle, Grayfia sighed with a smile, Wendy looked on in admiration, and Rias began fearing the potential devastation that such a fight would bring, Odin and Rossweisse had looks of confusion, and Koneko seemed to be distracted.

Natsu realised that Koneko was distracted and when she suddenly ran off he quickly decided to cast out his senses to hopefully pick up what had caught Koneko's attention, seeing as she had a determined look on her face.

"I'm sorry for running out on you guys like this but there is something I have to do. Rias why don't you tell Sirzechs that I will try my best to be here for the meeting," Natsu said as he looked Rias in the eyes as if to say that he will deal with Koneko after he saw the look of worry in her eyes.

Rias let out a sigh and gave Natsu a quick nod, for most, it was just that she acknowledge his request, but between the two it was Rias handing Natsu the responsibility of looking after Koneko.

Natsu vanished in a cloud of black smoke, which startled the two Norse while the rest had come to expect something like that.

Natsu quickly exited the building and tried to locate Koneko's scent. It didn't take the Dragon King too long before he found her trail.

Natsu followed the white-haired devil's scent trail though a dark forest. Not long after he entered the forest did he smell a second scent. This one was similar to Koneko's.

'So this is why she came here,' Natsu thought to himself. As Natsu gained on the girl he saw that she had come to a halt. Staying in the shadows he looked at what Koneko was doing.

That was when he spotted the beautiful young woman who was lying on a tree branch. The woman had a voluptuous figure, long black hair with split bangs and hazel-gold eyes with cat-like pupils. Her attire consisted of a black kimono, a yellow obi, a set of golden beads, and an ornately detailed headband. Finally, she had two black cat ears and a slender black tail.

"Hello there, Shirone," the woman greeted Koneko.

"Kuroka," Koneko replied in a neutral voice.

"I'm pleased to see that you can still feel our sisterly bond, even if I only sent out a fraction of my chi," Kuroka said with a sly smile.

'So this is her sister then, I have a few questions for her, but first I will allow them time to talk,' Natsu thought as he continued to spectate the reunion.

"What do you want Kuroka, I don't have time that I can simply waste," Koneko said as she looked up to the other woman.

"Oh come now, don't be so rude to your sister who you haven't seen in such a long time," Kuroka replied in mock hurt.

"Cut to the chase Kuroka," Koneko demanded.

"I have come back four you Shirone, I had to drop everything and run when thing got out of hand, and I couldn't possibly take you with me on my dangerous run from the authorities," Kuroka told her sister.

"What do you want Kuroka, I won't ask again," Koneko demanded, a minute amount of anger began to seep into her voice.

"I want you to join me, after all, we both share the same killer power, we are sisters," Kuroka answered with a glint in her eyes.

"I have a family here, and I won't leave them. I have found my place within Rias' peerage" Koneko stated with determination.

"Then I guess things will have to get a bit messy, you see I wanted to give you a choice to come freely but since you are unwilling I might just have to use force," Kuroka said. As she said this another man entered the scene.

The man wore ancient Chinese armour and had black hair.

"I must say, I am ecstatic that you are resisting. This will be a splendid way to pass the time but don't worry, I won't hurt you that much," the man said as he walked up with a golden staff in his hand.

"Now, now Bikou, don't hurt her too much, I still care for her very much, just enough to make it easy for us to take her in," Kuroka said to the man now named Bikou.

A dark barrier began to form in the sky that quickly covered the entire forest.

"This will give us all the time we need to rekindle our sisterly bond," Kuroka smiled as she looked at the barrier.

"Two against one, never expected you to be such a coward Kuroka," Koneko taunted Kuroka. This was the only thing she could think of to hopefully give her a chance to escape since she wasn't sure she could beat the man and she knew that she couldn't beat Kuroka, at least not yet.

"Don't worry Koneko, I told you I would help you embrace who you are, and overcoming your past demons is the first step," Natsu's demonic voice echoed around the dark forest.

"And who might this be?" Kuroka asked as she heard the voice.

"I couldn't sense their chi, how is that possible? The mastery we have over the sage arts should give the ability to sense anyone nearby just by the flow of their chi," Bikou asked in concern.

"There is quite the hilarious explanation to that, but I don't feel like telling someone who dares threaten someone close to me," Natsu's voice echoed again but rage seemed to enter the voice at the last part. The combination of the demonic voice and the rage instilled fear into the two members of the Khaos Brigade.

Koneko however, had a look of joy, the situation that seemed dire a few seconds ago suddenly seemed somewhat trivial.

"Come out and reveal yourself," Bikou shouted as he readied his staff for battle.

Flames darker than their surroundings began to seep out of the forest. I seemed like the flames were sucking in the light, unlike normal fire witch should be a source of light. And from within these flames, a figure appeared. Even though it was just a silhouette they could still identify two horns protruding from the things head, a pair of bat-like wings stretching out, razor sharp claws, and most terrifying of all was the two blood-red eyes that seemed to bore into their very soul.

Bikou took a shaky step back, the fear he felt wasn't unfamiliar to him yet he couldn't quite place where he felt it before. Then the realisation hit him like a truck when Koneko softly uttered her next word in relief.

"Natsu"
