The Gryffindor opened his eyes to the early sunlight shining in his face, peeking between the green closed curtains. Still feeling tired from not having enough sleep last night, he closed his eyes once again. Then it struck Harry on where was, looking around his teacher's chamber from the futon. He heard a door open, quickly going back to sleep, feeling Snape's presence beside him. The curtains flew open, getting his student to grumble at that, turning the other way.

"Don't grumble at me Potter, get going upstairs and get ready," he pulled the covers off the preteen. Harry was defeated by that, grumbling all the way upstairs, yawning here and there. Making his way to his own room, he changed into a blue shirt and brown pants. Going to the bathroom, to brush his teeth and hair. Wondering what Snape had in store today while shopping for school supplies.

They met up in front of the big doors. Harry followed his professor to the phone booth still parked outside, watching Snape pick up the receiver, dialing the number. Harry held onto one of the dark wizard's arms. As they took off into the sky. Letting go after the cart was steady enough.

"So, sir, where should we go first?" The Golden Boy wondered, he watched as Snape covered a yawn that surfaced while looking out the window. 'First time I seen him yawn.' "Perhaps some place to have breakfast first?" seeing that his professor was tired beyond words. Knowing it was his student's fault.

They went inside a diner, called, 'The Roasted Witch.' Snape thought that name was an odd one. Studied the sign as they went in. The people in there were surprised by Harry Potter entering. Some of them were love-struck, seeing how good-looking the young wizard has gotten. Harry ignored it, sitting down in a booth with his professor. Hearing snickering around him, hearing his father's name a few times. That Harry looks exactly like him. He sighed, 'Never wanted to be famous in the first place.' Harry geared over at Snape, as a waitress walked over to them, asking for their order. Happy to see Harry sitting there. The boy wanted a plate of waffles with ice cream and whipped cream. His teacher got amused by this while he ordered a coffee with milk.

"That's it sir?" Harry hands the menus back to the waitress, he told him that he ate already in his chambers. The waitress looked over at his teacher, giving a disgusted face as she walked away. Harry noticed that, looking over at Snape, who was studying the table. 'Professor.' 'Did he notice too?' The waitress was talking to her coworkers, whispering about the Dungeon Bat, talking about his ugly large noise and other horrible things. Harry had enough, wanting to leave. Snape stopped him, "But, sir?" knowing he can hear them too.

"I am used to this," he says softly, trying not to care. Harry can see he does though, "if we leave, they win." His student gaped at that, 'That doesn't mean he needs to endure?'

For the rest of the day, they went to the bank, getting more pounds for Harry, then to the bookstore. Harry kept an eye on Snape, since they left the diner, he has not said a single word. This made Harry worried, not knowing what to do. Inside the bookstore was a huge line. They seemed to be waiting for someone. A man stood in front of a counter. People were clapping, 'Who is this guy?' 'Who is this guy?' "Mr. Gilderoy Lockhart," someone said in a microphone, the guy waved at his fans, smiling at the press while his picture was taken. Lockhart looked over at Harry, immediately recognizing him, "it can't be...Harry Potter?"

Harry gaped at that. "Harry Potter!" he gets grabbed by the press, and dragged to the front, not wanting any of this.

Getting hugged by a strange man, he doesn't even know, "Nice big smile Harry, together you and I rate the front page," Camera flashes nearly blinding the poor boy. Snape can see it was making Harry uncomfortable, surprised by that, thinking this boy loved being the center of attention, "Ladies and gentlemen, what an extraordinary moment this is. When young Harry stepped into Flourish and Blotts this morning, to purchase my autobiography." 'What!?' Harry looked over at the man, "Magical me." His fans were clapping at them, Harry wanted to leave, not wanting to look at his teacher, being embarrassed by this. Feeling Lockhart's hand stroking his back, "Which, incidentally, is currently celebrating-" Snape made it to the front, grabbing Harry, quickly getting him out of the bookstore. As they got outside, his teacher decided to do the shopping another time.

Harry was now in his room, wondering how to cheer up his professor, getting up, going to the main kitchen, which is currently empty, getting a bowl of ice cream.
