Vaughn feels quite energetic this day. Maybe the interaction with the Lady and her Knight had been a good thing, a change of pace is not unwelcome. After washing his face and changing his tunic, he readies his fishing pole and cart. Not that he expects to catch many fishes or crabs, just enough for his Lunch and Dinner today.

He pauses before locking the door to his cottage, his Zweihander leaning on the footboard of his bed. He shakes his head and decides that he has no need of it, yet.

The walk wasn't long especially with how he situated his home near Lake Liurnia. He sets up a line on the shore, places a mat and waits. The lake is peaceful today, not counting the chaos which is the fine Architecture in the middle of it, the Academy of Raya Lucaria.

The sparks and smoke coming form the many windows of the castle is nothing new. It is not on the scale considered as a threat, seeing that the scholars and sorcerers staying on the Temple Quarter are considering it as a mundane occurrence, not one even sparing a glance.

A bite! He reels it in. A trout! And it hasn't been that long yet.

Feeling bolder he sets his booted feet on the shallow waters of the Lake; his fishing creel will be full this day!

He leaves the Lake dejected but refreshed. He should not have been too emboldened by one catch. After cleaning a trout and one bass with his hunting knife, he bathes in the Lake washing and scrubbing off any filth he accumulated for the past week.

He filleted the trout and fries it with butter, throwing in chopped carrots, peas and herbs. When everything has been cooked, he plates a piece of fillet and vegetables neatly, the remaining portions left on the pan.

He feels a sudden chill on his neck. A guest again? There's no mist this time.

A familiar aura surrounds him, nothing hostile just curious. His commanding officers has often told him that he has enhanced senses making him perceptive on the battlefield. They jest that he is more animal than man many times.

"Would you like some lunch?" He offers his plate infront of him.

There was no answer.

"Hello."

Still no answer, then he adds, "I insist, Lady Ranni."

He hears a soft chuckle infront of him, "Oh? A dogged fellow, aren't we?"

She appears before him. Dressed in a darker shade of blue, resembling that of the sorcerers at the Academy. She walks towards him, smile covered by her hand.

She takes the plate, their fingers brushing in the process. He flashes her a boyish smile then dusts the stump he was sitting on and gestures for her to sit beside him.

"Thou is truly a wonder."
