Authors note:

I had some serious writer's block on this chapter! But I am satisfied enough with how it turned out. Please enjoy!

"We can't let Ginny see Harry like this," Ron said, looking over at her as she was pretending to be asleep.

"I agree," Hermione said glancing over at Ginny. "This would only cause her more stress, she doesn't need to know."

"She is only my little sister anyways, she and Harry aren't even friends, she just has a crush on him because he is "The boy who lived," Ron said, having yet to take his eyes off Ginny.

Ginny felt a mix of emotions that she couldn't quite understand, ranging from anger to sorrow, and… guilt? How dare he! Not only has he told Hermione about my crush on Harry, but he is also saying that I only like him because he is "The boy who lived!" I'm not shallow! Ginny thought to herself as she waited for them to leave the hospital wing so she could relax and eventually fall asleep.

The next morning, Ginny woke up to find her mother waiting by her side.

"Time to go deary, Madam Pomfrey has given me permission to bring you home now." Said Mrs. Weasley.

"Where is Ron, isn't he coming too?" Ginny asked in feigned ignorance.

Mrs. Wesley looked over at Madam Pomfrey before looking back to her daughter, thinking carefully on how to respond. "Don't Worry, Ron will be along, he and Hermione just wanted to look something up in the library first."

I hate not being able to tell Ginny the truth, but at least I didn't lie to her...but still. Mrs. Weasley thought to herself.

"Ok, I understand," Ginny said, still feigning ignorance.

I thought I could trust my mother but I presume she is on their side… luckily I know someone that will help me. Ginny thought

Ginny started walking over to the fireplace to use the floo powder to go home but stopped when she noticed her mother was heading towards the exit of the hospital wing.

Ginny raised an eyebrow "Mom what are you doing?" "Aren't we going home?"

Ginny saw the look of slight annoyance appear on her mother's face as she replied "Yes we are dear...but… your father insisted on driving that infernal car here to pick us up." Ginny rolled her eyes upon hearing this. Her father had just turned her two-second trip back home into a multi-hour trip. Ginny took one last look at Harry and muttered to herself "Don't worry, I will be back before you know it." Then she and her mother walked out of the hospital wing and out towards her father and his car. Mr. Weasley was sitting in the driver's seat waiting patiently for his wife and daughter to return. Upon seeing them, he broke out into a smile and waved happily at them both, which they smiled and waved back, be it a half-hearted one. Once they had both taken a seat in the car, Mrs. Weasley in the front and Ginny in the back, Mr. Weasley grinned at them, he couldn't wait for their reaction.

"Did you know that muggles just invented a type of owl that transports your messages in a matter of seconds?" he said as he pressed on the gas causing the car to magically lift into the air, beginning their long ride home. Ginny and Mrs. Weasely looked at him in disbelief, causing him to go into a painfully detailed explanation.

"From what I have found out, it's not exactly an owl… it's this little gadget that they hold in their hands, and they are somehow all connected!" " All they have to do is touch this gadget in a certain pattern and the other person gets their letter on their gadget!" "It's like magic! Exclaimed Mr. Weasley with a twinkle in his eye. Ginny and her mother looked at each other, both rolling their eyes at his obsession with muggles. Mrs. Weasley began discussing these gadgets with him as Ginny turned her head to look out the window. She watched as they passed clouds beneath them as she thought about how fluffy and soft they looked, and how comfortable it would be to sleep on clouds.

Many hours passed by as Mr. and Mrs. Weasley discussed topics that didn't interest her in the slightest, as her mind kept going back to Harry. How did his ribs break when he wasn't even moving? Why doesn't Ron or Hermione believe in me enough to tell me about their plan? Why was everyone keeping her in the dark about Harry?

These thoughts and more were all Ginny could think about during their trip home. She never really tried answering these questions she had, simply unable to comprehend why nobody seemed to want to tell her anything. Finally, the three Weasleys arrived home just in time for lunch. Ginny watched as her parents got out of the car and into the house as she soon followed. Immediately upon entering the house she noticed something was off. The twins hadn't pulled some kind of prank against her the moment she had come in, which was suspiciously unlike them, but just then the twins looked up and saw her

"Good afternoon"

"Dear sister"

The twins began one after the other which still confused her to this day of how they finished each other's sentences.

"We hope you are doing better now"

"And no longer having nightmares"

"But if you are"

"Let us know and we can conduct a product for you"

"That will surely make you dream about something else"

The twins said with grins on their faces.

"Thank you both but….I think I will be fine," said Ginny with worry in her voice.

After the less-than-normal encounter with the twins, Ginny ate a quick lunch and then headed up to her room. She took out a quill and some parchment and began to write

Would it be alright if I were to come over? I would like to hear your thoughts on a few things that are on my mind.

-Ginny

Ginny quickly rolled up the letter and hurried downstairs

"Mum, would it be alright if I borrowed Eral, I want to deliver a letter?" Ginny asked.

"Of course dear." Mrs. Weasley replied. Ginny hurried over to the family owl and tied her letter to his leg sending him off. Ginny then hurried back up to her room and found her biggest trunk. She quickly began packing clothes, books, anything she could think of that she might need and closed the trunk. She then quietly crept down the stairs, careful to avoid any spots that creaked, and checked to see where her family was. They were all still in the kitchen eating lunch, much to her relief. She hurried back up to her room and grabbed her trunk and put it on her bed. She carefully opened her window and placed her trunk on the edge of the window sill. She looked down at the ground and saw a bush in the garden that just so happened to be positioned right under her window. She smiled at this because she had purposefully planted that bush there many years ago in case she ever needed to hide something that she had in her room. She slowly hung her trunk out of her window, barely being able to hold on due to its weight. Even with the magical storage increase on the inside and the weight reduction spell on it, it was still quite heavy for Ginny. She then lined up her trunk and dropped it, watching as it fell through the sky and landed inside the bush. Perfect. Ginny thought to herself. She then waited in her room, laying on her bed reading an article about the Holyhead Harpies, awaiting Eral's return.

A little under an hour after this, Ginny heard a tapping on her window. She turned to see Eral tapping at her window, she hurriedly got up and opened her window to let him in, he flapped his wings and flew into the room. As he was beginning to land on her desk, he miscalculated and tumbled to the floor. Rolling her eyes at the clumsy owl, she picked him up and put him on her desk. She reached into one of her desk drawers for an owl treat and gave him one before untying the letter from his leg and began to open it.

Hello Ginny, it is great to hear from you, how are you faring after this year? I hope you have had the time to calm your mind and expel any wrackspurts that might be in your head, I would expect a fair amount after your ordeal. Also, I would be delighted for you to come by, I will prepare us some tea for when you get here

Ginny smiled to herself at the letter, this girl...so dependable but sometimes so forgetful, she seems to always forget to sign her name to letters, Ginny thought to herself as she put the letter on her desk and got up to leave her room. Ginny quickly walked down the steps and into the kitchen.

"Mum, I'm going over to a friend's house," Ginny said as she opened up the back door.

"Very well dear, just let me know if you will be coming back for dinner or not," replied Mrs. Weasley.

"Yes, mum," Ginny replied.

Ginny went out to the family's back shed and took out one of their brooms, an old cleansweep 5, mounted it, and took off. Ginny loved the feeling of flying, she felt free, free from everything. She loved the feeling of the wind whipping through her hair the faster she went. She loved how everything seemed to blur around her as she flew by at top speed. As if when she was on her broom, nothing else mattered, it was just her. After about ten minutes of flying, she began to see her destination, a small cozy looking house all by itself. She flew to the front up to the front lawn and slowly lowered her broom back down to the ground, dismounting it once her feet had touched the ground. She hurriedly walked up to the walk and placed her broom on the ground next to the path leading to the door. She made her way up the path admiring the many different plants that were being grown in front of the house. Once she had made her way to the door, she knocked. Only a few seconds later, the door opened revealing a girl with whom she had grown to be best friends.

"Why hello Ginny, please come in, the tea is ready." The girl said beckoning Ginny to come in.

"Thank you, it is great to be here again, Luna."

Luna led the way into a small room with big windows that brought in natural light, displaying the wonderful garden the Lovegoods had just outside said window. Ginny sat down on a comfortable cushioned seat while Luna poured her a cup of tea as well as one for herself, placing both cups on the table in the middle of the room before sitting down on her comfy seat opposite the table.

"So Ginny, what would you like to discuss with me?" said Luna

No beating around the bush huh? Ginny thought to herself, this didn't bother her though for she liked this part of Luna.

"Well, Luna… it's kind of a long story… I hope you don't mind." Ginny said, already knowing what Luna's reply would be

"Of course not Ginny, please take all the time you need," Luna said with a smile on her face. Ginny smiled at this, I am so happy to have a friend as great as Luna, she thought to herself. Ginny first picked up her cup of tea and took a sip before placing her cup back down and looked Luna right in the eyes.

"Well, it all started shortly after I was saved from the….chamber," Ginny said, struggling even to say the word. "It all starts with Harry."

I hope you all enjoyed this chapter! I rewrote it a few times and was finally happy with the outcome. Although I will say it was hard to stay focused on this chapter when I am so excited to start writing what is about to come up! I can't wait to get the next chapter out to you all!
