3 years later….

Bella and Hermione were married in only three months after the proposal. They had wanted a short engagement because they both agreed that they had already faced so much they couldn't bear to wait any longer. It was a simple outdoor wedding at the family cabin surrounded by friends and loved ones. It was as if Hermione's chest opened and Bella's heart was transplanted into her own that day. She had always heard that everything changes once you get married but the pair had just grown closer if that was even possible. Hermione had never felt more in sync with another person in her life. They honeymooned in the Maldives and Hermione recalled the blue waters but most of her memories came from inside the bedroom. The majority of the week was dedicated to discovering each other as newlywed wives.

Over the past three years, Dr. McGonagall had stepped down from her practice leaving it to Hermione who stepped up as head psychologist in the practice while returning to University to receive her doctorate. She was two years into her four year program to earn her Doctorate degree in forensic psychology and while this left her very busy, she had the luxury of working the hours she wanted to work. Bella was patient and understanding during this busy time so Hermione never felt any pressure coming from the older woman. She understood when Hermione had to work late or stay up all night studying. Bella even offered her assistance to help her study though those nights usually just ended up in a pile of sweaty wrestling limbs.

Bella had continued to run her tattoo shop. She felt truly lucky that her arm had returned to 90% functioning after her second and last surgery. She still to this day faced hand tremors if she pushed herself too hard or worked too long. In light of this, she realized she needed to step back from full time tattooing, she dropped down to tattooing her long time clients and took on the responsibilities of running the shop. She and Tonks took on a new apprentice who now was working for them full time with her own clients. When Bella hired the young girl, she didn't know that she had actually hired her niece's soulmate. Tonks and her fiancé were the two main tattoo artists at The Dark Mark and Bella couldn't be happier with the way things had turned out. After her second surgery and the wedding, Bella and her sisters went to the bank and took the necessary steps to gain full ownership of their trust funds. After the years of torture and abuse, it was time for them to live happy and comfortable lives though that's a story for another day as Bella would often say to her wife, never quite giving her all the dirty details of her childhood.

Hermione Black pulled up outside of their small cottage on the outskirts of London in Debden. The cottage came complete with a picket fence and a thatched roof. How she ever got her wife to agree to live here was something she would never understand.

Her wife.

No matter how many years had passed, Hermione would never tire of the fact that she was lucky enough to be the one to call Bellatrix Black her wife. She put her car in park and climbed out of the ridiculously flashy Black Lincoln Navigator that her wife and insisted that they needed though it was just the two of them in the family. "Well, the three of us now," Hermione thought as she pressed the automatic lock and made her way up the walkway to the front door. It was unlocked as always as she pushed her way inside. The lights were dim in the entry way as she had expected given the hour. She looked at her watch and it was already half past 8. "I need to start leaving the library earlier," she internally scolded herself.

When Hermione walked into the living room, her feet stopped and her heart skipped a beat. The sight before her was her wife laying on the couch. She was on her side, hair partly covering her face, mouth slightly open, covered up to her waist by a thin blanket. Her arm was extended out, snuggling their excited looking husky puppy. The puppy began wagging its tail when Hermione entered but she had it on good authority that Nova was sound asleep moments ago. The wagging tail was constantly hitting Bella in the stomach, she stirred and stretched, "Nova, quit," came the sleepy voice of the dark hair woman, reaching out bringing her arm tighter around the small pup. Nova let out a little whine and backed out of the arm and ran over to her other mother. Hermione dropped her bag and sat on the floor, Nova was on the immediate offense, attacking her with licks and head butts. Bella yawned and stretched again, reaching out for the pup and when she didn't feel her she said quietly, "traitor," slowly opening an eye, spotting her wife playing lovingly with their fur baby. A slight pink tinge crossed her cheeks.

"For someone who complained so much about getting a dog, I sure do come home many nights finding you snuggling our daughter." Hermione smirked.

Bella tried her best to give a cross expression, "she coerced me into the snuggles, I assure you, love. They meant nothing to me."

"How could you ever deny this face?" She grabbed Nova's cheeks and turned her around to look at Bella. Nova snorted and turned back to the mummy who was currently paying attention to her.

"That's the face of a criminal. She pooped in my shoe yesterday and pissed all over the couch this afternoon." Bella grumbled.

"Then why were you snuggling her so tightly?"

"Semantics, love and coercion." She got up and stretched. "I kept a plate warm for you," she smiled, walked over and ruffled Nova's head before holding her hand out for her wife to take.

Hermione shot Nova an apologetic look before standing up and allowing herself to be pulled into Bella's embrace. The older woman was immediately drawn to the long expanse of Hermione's neck since her hair was pulled back in a bun. She inhaled the inherent smell of her wife and placed a line of reverent kisses along her jaw. "Welcome home, Mrs. Black." She lightly nipped at the pulse point presented in front of her. Hermione shivered at the use of her surname that she would never tire of hearing and a small moan escaped not going unnoticed by the older woman. "I've missed you terribly," she smirked as her hand snaked its way down to squeeze Hermione's ass.

"Bella," she breathed out. "I thought I was meant to have dinner." She felt a deep chuckle reverberate through her neck as her wife pulled her lips away with a tearing noise.

Bella stepped back and nodded. "Come on through then," she winked and led Hermione into the cozy kitchen.

"Two plates?" Hermione asked when Bella returned from shutting the oven door, putting two plates down onto the small two seater table. "You waited to eat with me?"

"Well," Bella gave her a look that turned her inside to mush, "I get lonely when you aren't here." It was Bella's turn for her eyes to darken. Hermione shrugged out of her suit coat and was wearing only a tight fitted vest underneath. It has been almost four years since she had given Hermione her first tattoo but now her body was her favorite canvas. Her eyes raked over the brunette as she stood there, smiling back at her. She had insisted on keeping up the black and gray theme that she had started with her lighthouse. Hermione's left arm was a half sleeve of wild flowers. Her other arm was a full sleeve with different time pieces and roses, and a woman's open hand with an evil eye on the palm. It couldn't be seen through the vest but starting at the top of Hermione's neck and going down her spine were the seven chakras. "Maybe you should put your jacket back on until tea is finished unless you want me to take you here on the kitchen table."

Hermione smirked and rolled her eyes, "behave." She calmed her own heat traveling through her body and took a bite of the perfectly roasted chicken presented before her. Moaning with her first bite wasn't anything new. Bella was an amazing cook and she exploited her talents almost daily. The couple ate in relative silence making small talk about their respective days. Nova had only come over and begged for food once. "No," Hermione said in a motherly tone, "you have a dish full of puppy pellets over by your water. I don't care how cute your puppy eyes are, you won't be getting any table scraps from me." Nova snorted and walked over to Bella looking at her expectantly. She looked up seeing Hermione raise an eyebrow, "have you been feeding her from your plate?"

Bella glared at the dog, "traitor." She returned her gaze to Hermione, "I have no idea what you are talking about," a goofy smile adorned her face when she shoved a fork full of mashed potatoes in her mouth and slipped Nova a piece of chicken who happily took it and pranced from the room. "Coercion," she shrugged and watched as their pup left the room, shaking her head and chuckling as she watched her wife's mouth fall open. "Careful of that bird shit, pet."

After dinner the pair had taken a long, hot shower together which left both of them completely satiated and extra clean in all of the right places. Bella emerged from the bathroom first, leaving Hermione to finish up with her hair. When she stepped out in her robe, Nova was at the door waiting. Seems the pup had gotten bored though as she found one of Hermione's work shoes and chewed through the heel. "Hmm," Bella bent down and picked up the shoe, "mummy won't be happy about this. Let's just hide this from her. What she doesn't know won't hurt her." She winked at Nova who was trying her best to look innocent as she threw the shoe towards the back of her own closet. The younger woman came out with a lazy post sex smile on her face and saw Bella walking Nova over to put her in her kennel for the evening. It was set up near the bed so she could see them and had lots of blankets and stuffed animals to keep her company. Hermione joined her so she could say goodnight to their daughter.

Once Nova was successfully tucked in, Hermione and Bella climbed into their big king sized bed. More often than not, Bella woke up on the edge of the bed, her wife finding her way into her space throughout the course of the night and moving her to the edge. She nestled into Bella's neck as she had every night for the past four years, content with feeling the heartbeat of the older woman thump against her lips as she fell asleep. "Are you excited for this weekend?"

Bella sighed, wrapping her arm tightly around Hermione, "mmhmm." She traced small patterns along the exposed skin of her lover's arm thinking back to their own wedding. "I'm so happy that Dora found her soulmate. I'll be happy to celebrate their special day with them." She kissed the brunette's hair that was tucked below her chin. "I just hope Nova doesn't piss all over the car on the drive up to the cabin," she chuckled.

"Oh," Hermione playfully smacked Bella's chest, "she'll do great." Silence crept back into the room and their breathing seemed to even but Hermione wasn't done, "I'm happy for Tonks, too. It's a wonderful feeling to know that you've found your forever person. The one constant being in your life who will always be there no matter what. I still can't believe how lucky I was to have stumbled into your shop that day."

"I suppose we have Red to thank for that."

"Yes," Hermione laughed, "and she reminds us every chance she gets." She lifted her head to look into Bella's eyes. "Seriously though, you are my world and I wouldn't trade a single moment of our life together. I love you more than I ever thought possible." She closed the distance to place a soft kiss on her wife's lips.

Bella brought her hand up and tangled it in brunette hair, pulling Hermione's lip between her teeth. Just as Hermione was sliding her body on top of her lover's, a small whimper accompanied by a pathetic little howl came from the kennel. The older woman pulled back to raise her eyebrows at her wife, "just this once?"

"Oh," Hermione pretended to be upset and rolled her eyes. "Go on then. Just this once."

Bella jumped up out of the bed and walked over to the crate, picking Nova up and carrying her to the bed, depositing her on top of the covers. She quickly climbed back into bed pulling Hermione back into her neck spot. Nova managed to burrow herself under the cover and rest happily between the four tangled legs. They felt the pup sigh and immediately settled, falling asleep surrounded by her mummies' legs. "Goodnight my love," Bella whispered as she kissed Hermione's hand, placing it above her own heart.

The familiar drive to the Black family cabin was quick and painless. They had stopped for a couple of coffees as well as a few bathroom breaks for Nova. The excited puppy was on her best behavior the entire trip, sitting in Hermione's lap content to look out the window, playfully biting at cars as they passed by on the other side of the street. "I think she likes car rides," Hermione said as Bella rolled her eyes pretending to not find their daughter's antics amusing. Though it didn't go unnoticed that Bella had snuck Nova a few of her pretzels along the way. When they pulled up outside of the cabin and the car was parked, Nova scurried over to sit on her other mummy's lap and lick her happily. "I suppose you did well on the trip." She smiled down at the dog, ruffling the hair behind her ears. She did a quick side glance to see if Hermione was paying attention, satisfied that she wasn't, Bella bent over and kissed Nova on the forehead. The quiet noise of Hermione clearing her throat caused her cheeks to turn pink, "you saw nothing and if you ever speak of this, I will end all of us."

"Noted," Hermione smiled, "no one will ever know the big pile of mush you turn into around the dog."

Bella dramatically rolled her eyes, "I do not turn to mush," she said in her most serious tone then smiling and softening her tone turning to Nova, "isn't that right? I do not turn to mush." Bella raised her chin petulantly and Hermione laughed when it seemed like Nova repeated the action.

"Oh no," Hermione laughed, "she's already taking after her mummy." She clipped the leash onto the purple harness, "come on. Let's go. If we are late because we were out here talking about Nova one or both of your sisters will kill us."

"Oh," Bella waved the thought off, "it's just the rehearsal dinner. They should be thanking us for showing up to this." She laughed and handed Nova across the center console and exited the car. She made her way around and popped the boot, taking their suitcase out with her. Hermione exited the car with Nova gleefully pulling her up the pathway to the front door. "Don't forget," Bella said, bending down and whispering to Nova, "it's okay to poop in Auntie Cissy's shoes."

"Don't tell her that!" Hermione whispered back.

"What? I didn't say anything." Bella looked as innocent as possible as she opened the front door. Her wife unleashed the harness and Nova took off doing laps around the house.

They heard a voice calling from the other side of the room as little dog paws were clicking across the floor. "Is Auntie Andy's baby here?" Andy emerged from the bedroom and immediately sat down letting Nova attack her. Andy looked to be in heaven with the little bundle of energy. "Auntie loves you very much. You are the goodest girl." She said as she pulled a little dog biscuit from her pocket, making Nova sit for it.

"Careful," Bella warned, "don't let Hermione see you give her too many of those unless you want a lecture."

A sigh and grumble came from behind them, "you brought the dog?"

"What did you expect, Cissy?"

"It's a wedding. I hardly think it's appropriate for her to be here."

"You are just mad because she peed on you last time you came over," Bella smirked. "Besides you can't expect us to leave our daughter behind now could you?" She sat down next to Andy letting Nova paw the two of them.

"I just didn't expect her to be here," she said defensively. "Keep her away from my shoes."

"Didn't expect her to be here? Well, did you bring your son?"

"That's hardly the same thing."

Bella looked down at her pup and back up to Narcissa, "I see no difference." She smirked and Nova walked over and licked the bare skin of her youngest sister's ankle. "See, she loves her Auntie Cissy."

Trying her best to hide her smile, she bent over slightly so she could pat the top of Nova's head, "I suppose you are tolerable."

"What do you know?" Bella smirked at Andy, "that's the same thing I say about Draco."

"You are insufferable sometimes," Cissy rolled her eyes, finally taking a seat, letting Nova crawl into her lap and settle down.

"Ahh yes, sometimes but not all the time and that's why Hermione still loves me," Bella smiled when she saw her wife coming out of the bedroom, "ahh speaking of my love."

"Hey," Hermione said, joining them after she had put their suitcase in the room that they would be staying in. "Is Tonks here yet? I went to go say hi and I couldn't find her."

"No," Andy grumbled. "Leave it up to my daughter to be late to her own rehearsal dinner."

"I always thought rehearsal dinners were pretty fucking stupid," Bella spoke up, " we all know how to eat. Why do we have to practice?"

Andy smacked Bella on the arm, "behave yourself."

—————

Tonks and her soon to be wife Lyss arrived about ten minutes before the rehearsal dinner was set to start. "Fashionably late, right?" Was her excuse when everyone just stared at them. "I mean, we already know how to eat. Why do we have to practice?"

"That's what I said!" Bella rolled her eyes.

The rehearsal dinner was exactly as expected. It was just an excuse to get everyone around a table together for a meal. After dinner though, Andy made a big deal about taking Lyss to their side of the cabin and keeping them apart for the night so that left Tonks on Bella and Hermione's side of the cabin. They found themselves sitting outside, smoking while Nova was curled up in the pink hair woman's lap. Hermione was looking through a telescope at the bright night sky. The cabin was off the grid enough that the clouds opened up to a beautiful backdrop for stargazing.

"I have to say Aunt Bella," Tonks was still petting Nova who was fast asleep, "I'm a much bigger fan of this pup than I would've been if you had a child."

"You and me both, kid." Bella laughed.

Hermione was heard though she didn't look away from the telescope, "Nova is the perfect fit for our family. We are far too busy for a child," she turned only when she heard Bella scoff, "a human child. Nova is the best daughter for our family."

"I wanted to thank you both," Bella and Hermione turned to look at the younger woman. "I want to thank you for being a solid example of what true happiness looks like. I know Lyss is my soulmate because I've seen the power of true love through the two of you. If the two of you can make love look so desirable then fuck, we can make it too."

Hermione walked over and took a seat on Bella's lap, wrapping her arms around her wife's neck. Tonk's pretended to gag, "okay I didn't want a show of affection. I just wanted to say thanks."

"Hmm," Hermione hummed, resting the side of her head against the top of Bella's, "I've seen you and Lyss and the two of you have chemistry. I believe you will make it work."

"I was more than half convinced there wasn't someone out there for me," Tonks sighed, bringing the sleeping dog up into a hug. "I consider myself among the lucky ones like you."

"She adores you Dora as she should. The two of you were destined to find each other. Don't fuck it up or I'll have to kick your ass," Bella kicked her niece's boot.

"Never," Tonks laughed, "I've seen both of your tempers and I don't want to be on the receiving end of either of them."

Bella tilted her head up and nipped at Hermione's ear, "see pet, we have dangerous reputations to uphold. Let's just hope Nova lives up to the expectations and is a killer like her mummies."

"This precious soul," Tonks kissed Nova's sleepy forehead, "never. She is just a sweet little baby." She took out her phone and looked at the time, "fuck it's late. Mom's going to kill me if I show up to my own wedding late and with eye bags. Better get to sleep," she stood up and deposited Nova into Hermione's lap, "here's the baby. Have a good night, you two." She kissed her aunts on their foreheads and started to head in, "and please if you guys fuck tonight keep it quiet. I need my beauty sleep."

"Oh haha," Bella flicked her niece off as she went back into the house. She turned her face back into her wife's neck, nipping gently at her pulse point feeling Hermione shudder in her lap. "Well, Mrs. Black, did you ever think you and I'd be the standard for love?"

"Well," she leaned further into the kisses being showered down her neck, "I can't say I blame her. We are the epitome of happiness."

Bella hummed in agreement, bringing her hand up to cup the back of Hermione's neck, pressing her lips into her harder. "So," Bella licked a trail up from her neck to her ear and whispered hotly, "do you want to see just how loud we can be before Dora hears us?"

——————

The ceremony was beautiful and Hermione was certain she never saw her friend happier than getting to marry the love of her life. There wasn't a dry eye in the house even Bella being the proud Aunt that she was had shed a few tears but she would never admit to it. The reception was a short affairs as the two newlyweds were headed straight to their honeymoon which was gifted to them by

Bella and Hermione. Maybe Tonks and her new wife would get to see more of the Maldives than they did but the brunette wouldn't put money on it.

Bella had been looking around for Hermione for about 20 minutes and couldn't find her anywhere in the house, "she must be outside with Nova." Not to brag but the little pup did steal some of the thunder away from the brides on their big day but honestly who could deny that sweet little face. "Hey," Bella called out entering the small library where her sisters were sitting, "have you seen Hermione?" She came in and sat down on the couch essentially giving up her search for the time being.

"I think she's outside with the baby," Andy smiled thinking about the puppy. "You know, if your dog wasn't so fucking adorable I'd be pissed with how she stole everyone's attention today."

"You just had to dress her in that little dress didn't you?" The youngest sister rolled her eyes.

"That was all Hermione. Send your hate comments directly to her. I am fully against dressing dogs like humans no matter how cute Nova looked today."

A silence had fallen over the group when Andy spoke up, "I can't believe Dora's married."

"I can," Bella scoffed, "well sort of. She's had more girlfriends than I can count and they all turned out to be absolute pieces of shit so it was about time she found her person."

"She has you to thank for that," Cissy smirked, "and I'm sure you'll remind her every chance you get."

"You know it." Laughter broke out among the sisters. "Those two have what it takes to make it. I'm certain."

"They did look so happy today," the blond smiled thinking back on the ceremony.

"I think I even saw you shed a tear," Andy turned to her older sister.

"That's circumstantial evidence and won't hold up in a court of law. I did no such thing." Bella denied.

"Good thing I was able to snap a couple of pictures," an evil smile adorned Andy's face as she flourished her phone, flipping to the pictures she took of the crowd during the vows.

Bella took the phone and flipped through the pictures, "that's not me," she tossed the phone back to Andy and stood up moving towards the door. "I'm out of here before the two accuse me of feeling again. Goodnight."

She heard her sisters say goodnight then break into a fit of laughter which made Bella smile. She continued on her quest to locate her wife and Hermione was indeed on the back porch, looking through the telescope again. Nova was sleeping on one of the patio chairs. The brunette was slightly startled by the sound of the door shutting. "It's just me," the dark-haired woman smiled, coming to stand behind her wife and wrapping her arms around the younger woman's stomach. "What are you doing out here?" She asked as she snuggled her face into her wife's neck, inhaling deeply.

"Just looking at the stars," she said lightly, getting sidetracked by Bella's nose rubbing up and down her neck. "It's truly beautiful out here." Bella hummed her agreement sending vibrations through Hermione. "And," she exhaled, "the ceremony was beautiful."

"Mmhmm," Bella nipped at her jawline. "You are beautiful, darling. Everything else," she kissed below her ear and whispered, "pales in comparison to you."

"What's gotten into you?" She giggled, "don't get me wrong I love this but you just seem extra affectionate tonight."

"I'm just happy," Bella smiled as Hermione turned in her arms bringing their foreheads together. "I'm happy for Dora and Lyss. Today was perfect for them. It reminded me of our own wedding here."

"Our wedding was perfect," Hermione closed her eyes, reliving the events as they flashed in her mind. "Even if you did get so nervous that you dropped the rings," she opened her eyes to see her wife, eyes closed with a bright smile. The smile was brighter than the night sky. "It was perfect."

"We should go on holiday." Bella said out of nowhere.

"What? Why?" Hermione let out a small laugh.

"I'm jealous of Dora getting to spend time at our bungalow in the Maldives. I need to see more of you in the little maroon two piece."

"So what you mean is you want to go have a week of amazing sex without work and interruptions?" Bella nodded vigorously, finally opening her eyes. "Well," Hermione nodded to her left where Nova was sound asleep, "what about her?"

"I'm sure her Auntie Andy would watch her for us," Bella grinned.

Hermione brought their foreheads back together bringing her bottom lip between her teeth, "ask her tomorrow?"

"First thing," she embraced her wife, relishing in the warmth emanating from the younger woman. "Though we'd have to pick somewhere else, I have no intentions of seeing Dora's naked ass."

Hermione rolled her eyes and turned back around to the telescope, looking over her shoulder, "I found you."

"Hmm?" Bella asked, wrapping her arms securely around Hermione's stomach again and pressing her chin into her shoulder. "Up there?" Her eyes searched the sky.

"Yep," Hermione looked down and adjusted the viewfinder and unwrapped Bella's arms, "look."

Bella winked at her wife and moved next to her, looking into the telescope, "well what do you know? Bellatrix, right there." She moved slightly looking up in the sky with her naked eye, getting her bearings before moving her body and the telescope west. She brought her eye down and adjusted the scope, "ahh, there you are you little fucker," Bella smirked after taking forever you adjust it just right, she pulled back and motioned for Hermione to look, "that's Andromeda. She's just as much of a shit to find in the sky as she is here on earth."

Hermione chuckled, "she's beautiful," pulling back looking at Bella. "It must be nice to be named after such a beautiful part of the universe."

"Well here," Bella moved back to the telescope and moved it somewhere in between Bellatrix and Andromeda, "pick one."

"What?"

"Just show me which one is your favorite," she rolled her eyes, flushing slightly.

Hermione bit her lip and looked in the scope, taking her time, "there," she focused in on a small cluster of three stars. "That one. It has two bigger stars and a small star in that cluster. It reminds me of us and Nova."

"Then," Bella looked into the telescope and pulled back smiling, "that will forever be our cluster of stars."

Hermione threw her arms around her wife's neck and squeezed her tightly. Bella laughed into her wife's hair, "what should we call it?"

Nova let out a little bark signaling that she was up from her small nap. Rolling her eyes, Bella untangled herself from their hug and went over to grab their baby. Nova licked her happily on the short walk back to Hermione. She held Nova in one arm, bringing Hermione into her side, wrapping her other arm around her shoulder. They looked up into the sky at the cluster of stars, "amoureux pour toujours."

The end.
