"My name is Klaus, you may have heard of me", as soon as he spoke, fear was the predominant emotion showing in the werewolves in front of them. They had finally tracked them down in the rocky mountains, it had taken longer than they had thought, but they had managed it, all thanks to a Werewolf called Ray.

"You're the Hybrid", one of the brave werewolves said, as she looked over Ray's body, who was still unmoving.

"You've heard of me, Fantastic". Klaus said, with a wicked grin. Klaus and Elijah quickly sped to the wolves and corraled them, they were all quickly fed his blood, and were all now lying on the floor, their necks snapped.

...

As he sat there, he looked over to Ray, he had woken only moments ago and had just finished feeding, he had completed his transition, Klaus was on cloud nine, he had his Hybrids, as he surveyed the forest, Elijah called him over.

As Klaus looked over, he could see that Elijah was kneeling over ray, he quickly sped over and looked at him, Blood was running out of his eyes, he was simply sitting there, his head behind his knees, he was shaking, Elijah looked over to him, "This doesn't look right, does it brother", Klaus just shook his head, he grabbed Roy by his head and looked at his eyes, he could see no difference, no veins or redness filling his Sclera, no fangs elongating at the sight of the humans surrounding them, he was just shaking.

Klaus looked back to his brother, "No, brother, it does not", as he finished, they both looked behind them, the rest of the wolves had begun to wake.

...

Hollow, it was all Klaus could feel. As he surveyed the bodies of the wolves, they had soon turned rabid, their bodies refused the transition, he quickly stood, rage filling him, "I did everything I was TOLD" he screamed to the heavens, as he began to pace he started muttering, "I Killed a werewolf, a Vampire and the doppelganger, this should have worked", As he finished Elijah sped over and gripped his shoulder, his first thought was to push him away, but Elijah soon spoke

"We will figure this out brother, but first you must breath" as he did, Klaus began to calm down, the rage turning to anger, he looked over his shoulder and nodded to Elijah. Elijah walked over to one of the bodies, a young woman, as he turned her over, he observed her, the same as the others, blood running out of each orifice, their bodies refusing the transition, as though they had rejected the blood, and it had pushed it out of them. As he looked at them 'We need Hadrian' He thought, as he looked over to this brother, he voiced this, "We should call Hadrian brother". Klaus just nodded.

Caroline could not believe her eyes, in front of her was the great pyramid of Giza, it was enormous, as she gazed upon it Hadrian spoke, "Beautiful isn't it, created in the year 2500BC, made just for the Pharaoh Khufu, its the oldest of the seven wonders" as he finished he stood beside her and took her hand in his, she just looked over at him and smiled, her long blonde hair glowing in the sun. As they gazed upon it, Caroline looked over to Hadrian, she quickly wrapped her arms around his neck, and kissed him, deeply. Once the kiss ended, their foreheads stayed pressed together, a silly grin appeared on Hadrian's face, "What was that for" He asked

"For all of this, Everything you have shown me, for trusting me with your history, and everything you have done for me." as she pulled back and gazed into his eyes, she said the three words Hadrian had wanted to say to her, "I love you". His smile could have lit up a room, and he was quick to say it back, "I Love you too".

...

'What is that noise', Was all Hadrian could think of as he was suddenly awakened from his sleep, as picked up his phone, realizing what the noise was, as he did he looked over to Caroline on his left, she was sporting a wide, but exhausted grin on her sleeping face, after their declaration Hadrian quickly apparated them to their room, they had not stopped for a good few hours, Vampiric and magical stamina helping massively. As he sat up, the blanket covering them was pulled down, revealing Hadrian's heavily scarred chest, and caroline's chest was fully exposed, the hickeys he had given were slowly healing, before he could look for too long, his phone began to vibrate again, as he looked down, he was surprised to see it was Elijah calling.

"Hello, brother",

"Hadrian, we may have a problem", just hearing the seriousness in his brother's voice made Hadrian sit up straight,

"What is the matter brother".

"This may be best spoken off face to face, how long would it take your home"

"Not long, half an hour to pack up and pay for the hotel"

"Good well meet you there"

Elijah was quick to hang up, Hadrian looked back at the phone in confusion, he looked over to Caroline, who was still soundly sleeping, he hated to have to end their trip early, hopefully, she would understand

...

As Elijah and Klaus used their portkeys to get back to Hadrian's house, in Mystic falls, in the deep woods, Bonnie Bennet sat cross-legged on the forest floor, once again trying to access the new form of magic.

After realizing she has lost connection to the spirits, her connection to nature, she felt hollow, as though a part of her was missing, but she had now found a new source of magic, Soul Magic. Once she had realized what she had lost, she went straight to Jonas and Luka, but their home was empty, only a handful of Grimours were left, they had left in a blind panic, in one of the grimoires was a new section, one that Jona's wife appeared to had written, Soul Magic, a way for a Wiccan to access power without using spirits or nature for power, as soon as she read this, she began to practice.

As she closed her eyes and began to meditate, the Leatherbound grimoire was open in front of her, soon she was able to connect to her soul, a source of power and magic that could be tapped into, but only in the dire of circumstances, only when your very life was on the line was one to use the power of one's soul. If the caster abused this power, it would begin to corrupt them. Bonnie had ignored these warnings, as soon as she felt the magic, it overwhelmed her, the greed for power was soo strong, Bonnie's ego allowed her to ignore the warnings, and the effects were beginning to show. Her fingertips had blackened, her skin had gone from a light Caramel to a more ashen color, her hair was slowly becoming grey and her eyes were beginning to become bloodshot.

Using the soul as a substitute for magic, was something most magic users knew of, but only the truly desperate would ever touch it, whilst with time with a soul would heal, but with prolonged use, it would fracture, until the person's very soul became darkened and twisted until what was left of the caster was a shadow of their former self.

...

Alaric stood in his apartment, looking over the numerous photos they had taken of the runes and images in the cave, sticky notes had taken over the table, notes written on them, trying to make sense of what they had, and they had finally managed to make sense of nearly all of it, the start of the Originals, Esther's death, Mikael becoming a hunter.

As Alaric gazed at the images, his phone began to ring, as he looked down, he sighed as he saw it was Stefan calling, 'What does he want now' Alaric thought, quickly answering, "Hey Stefan, what's up".

"We think we may have found him", as soon as Stefan finished, Alaric stood straighter, no longer hunched over the table, "What do you mean you think you found him, how"

"We finally found that Wiccan, the one mentioned in the Martin's grimoires, she knew someone who knew someone who knew what happened"

"Where is he"

"Charlotte, North Carolina, it looks like they used a Wiccan to desiccate him, but we know where he is".

...

"Tell me what happened", Hadrian asked as he looked over to Klaus and Elijah, it hadn't taken them long to get back to Hadrians. As Klaus spoke, Hadrian grew stiller, and looked more confused by the minute, as Klaus finished explaining what had happened, Hadrian hung his head, he was slowly shaking it, as he did he muttered under his breath, quiet enough that no one else heard "Esther".

While sitting he looked back up to both of them, "I have an idea what could be causing this, ill investigate immediately" before anyone could move, Hadrian was gone.

As Hadrian disappeared from his house, he reappeared in Mystic falls, more specifically in the town center, he quickly went under his own disillusionment charm and began to walk around the center, he wasn't walking for more than five minutes when he froze, in front of him, was Jeremy Gilbert, but it was who was with him that stopped him, as Elena Gilbert was alive and well.

...

"Are you sure this is the right place?" Alaric asked as he, Stefan, and Bonnie arrived at the old Cemetary in Charlotte, Stafen just looked over to him, "This is where they said he saw, he was trapped in the Pickett Tomb".

The three of them all moved into the cemetery, all looking for the Pickett tomb, since the cemetery was so large they split up, after ten minutes of searching, Alaric heard Stefan calling them, jogging over to him, he saw why Stefan had called him, he had found the tomb. As they looked at the tomb, Stefan opened the large, green rusted gate, as it opened, he went to walk it, but was stopped, he couldn't move forward, he looked back at them, "I Cant get in", looking confused, Bonnie tried to enter, but she too was blocked, as she stepped back, she looked at the entrance, as she looked, she picked up and small rock and threw it at the entrance, but it did not simply pass through as Alaric would have expected, it hit something solid and bounced backward, "Boundary Spell", Bonnie muttered.

Bonnie quickly walked to the opening, as she stops in front of it, she closed her eyes and accessed her soul, as she did, it was now that Alaric noticed how much Bonnie had changed, her skin was ashen, her fingertips black, her hair becoming more salt and peppered before he could speak, bonnie threw out her hand, as she did, the boundary spell lit up, flashing orange and lighting up with runes as the spell hit it, but it held. Bonnie was quick to throw more power at it, until it eventually fell, as it did Bonnie was hunched over, exhausted, Stefan walked over to her, "Are you Okay", Bonnie nodded, "Yea, this new form of magic takes a lot out of you". The other two simply nodded, not noticing the blackened of her fingers, which had risen to her middle knuckles on both hands, and that her eyes were losing their color, turning more and more grey.

Walking into the tomb, there was only one coffin, but the coffin was the wrong word, sarcophagus was more accurate, Stefan was quick to put it all into moving the lid, surprisingly it moved, and as it fell, they got their first look at Michael, he was desiccated, wrapped in chains, as the rest of them looked over with him, Mikael's eyes opened.
