Author's Note Update: I just realized I made a Season 1 finale error in this chapter earlier, due to review episode order changes and restructuring for 25 review episodes/50 chapters per season. The true Season 1 finale of this story is the Hocus Pocus review. My bad.

RWBY's Commentary of Scooby-Doo (Part 2 - Final)

"So Velma and Fred come across a video that sort of shows the villain's evil plan.", Ruby resumed the movie after the break, with Velma and Fred in the moving coming across more clues after the haunted house ride sequence; "That video should add at the end, 'White People, Making Life Uncool Since the Dawn of Time.'"

Yang describes, "So they figure Mr. Bean is the culprit, but there's still an hour left of the movie, so it seems kind of rather than gather more clues, we have this lovely scene that we're forced to sit through.", as Scooby and Shaggy in this scene start a burping/farting contest against one another, disinteresting the four members of team RWBY, chibi RWBY, and Doc Brown.

"You know, just for fun, why don't we see how much every single gas joke would cost an animator to animate. And also how much could have gone to a charity to stop people from watching this film.", said Blake and Weiss, "Oh, the good cause this money could have gone to."

Doc Brown noticed in the next scene with the gang returning to the Spooky Island park's hotel, where Velma meets a man, "Hey, look, Velma's talking to a guy for a minute. I guess that means they're gonna get together at the end."

"Oh, please, everybody knows that she's saving herself for Daphne!", Chibi Ruby, Chibi Yang, Chibi Blake and Chibi Weiss disgruntled, as the scene shows a flashback with the Mystery Machine gang once cruising with the worst Scooby-Doo character, Scrappy-Doo.

Ruby displeased, "Oh, for the love of Oum! Scrappy-Doo is in this movie!?"

"We can't remember. Who is he again?", pondered Chibi Ruby.

The leader of team RWBY said, "Just one of the most annoying shit piles ever squirted!", as the Scrappy-Dog scene showed him peeing on Daphne's sweater.

"And as we all know, there's nothing funnier in the early 2000s than a dog that urinates on cue!", issued Yang, "Fred is like, when he said to Scrappy 'no urinating on Daphne', 'That's my job!'"

Chibi Yang discussed, "To be fair, though, they do make him intentionally annoying. In fact, he's actually cast out in just a few seconds. Honestly, it doesn't make any sense. We mean, Scooby is supposed to be his caretaker, we remember that. So casting the kid to the side of the road in the middle of nowhere just leaving him to die? That's a pretty big asshole thing to do, isn't it? We mean, that's downright evil for such an innocent character! What a bitch! Or...a male bitch!"

"Hell, if that's the case, why is that scene even in the movie? It's only a couple seconds long and it's just an annoying bit of nothing. What was the purpose of it?", catechized Blake and Weiss.

Doc pondered and says, "...Maybe he's the villain?"

"What?", both team RWBY and chibi RWBY groups ask.

The Back to the Future character theorizes, "Well, the scene's only a couple seconds long, and they're not writing a good mystery, and it's entirely pointless. Maybe that's the only point to having him, just to make him a bad guy.", as the eight girls disagree to this theory.

"No, no, they couldn't. It'd just be too stupid, it'd make so little sense...right?", Blake and Weiss disacknowleged.

Ruby and Yang perceived, "Oh, and remember those supernatural elements we said just a moment ago were never in the original show? Well, they're all over it in this one! And sadly, it looks like they could only afford one design for these creatures, which we guess is understandable. All the money obviously had to go to the Scooby burping scenes.", as this next scene had Shaggy yell out the show's most iconic line 'Scooby-Doo, where are you!', "Shaggy could also add in 'There, I did my one line for the trailer. Now let's get out of here!'", making the viewers all laugh.

"And is it me, or does it look like these supernatural beings smoke a few too many Marlboro cigarettes? Trust me, it's not wise for supernatural beings to be smoking Marlboro cigarettes. We convinced an alien race to take up smoking once, and, well, let's just say it didn't turn out well.", Blake and Weiss awared and continued, "So Fred and Velma get captured, and it's up to Daphne, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, and...ugh...Mary Jane...to go save them.", the viewers watching the scene as the heroes discuss their plan to save Velma and Fred, who were captured by the creatures; Shaggy suggested to Daphne to escape and leave Velma and Fred as an act of cowardice.

Chibi Ruby and Chibi Yang complicate, "Okay, we never thought I'd say this, but...that was too cowardly. Honestly, Shaggy would run away, but not at the cost of sacrificing his friends. It's okay to make fun of the characters, but not when it's out of character. Shaggy would never be that cruel!"

"In that case, Shaggy should say, 'My middle name is Judas!'", joked Ruby and Yang as they all laugh again, continuing afterwards, "But they discover that, again, through those supernatural powers, they've turned Fred into more of a tool than usual.", seeing this next scene with Fred partying with other people as Scooby and Shaggy encounter him.

Blake and Weiss says, "Well, now he's just acting like Freddie Prinze, Jr.", before recommencing, "But Fred turns his teen friends against our heroes and tracks them down.", as Fred and the other teens reveal themselves to be possessed by the creatures, causing Scooby and Shaggy to run off in fright, where they hid in a garage with Mary Jane.

"They do escape the possessed Fred and the others, Scooby discovers Mary Jane is possessed too, before doing an awfully quick reference to the plastic surgery scene from Brazil; and they find their way into the center of the villain's lair.", Ruby summarized, as the next part showed Shaggy jumping in the lair entrance after Scooby fell in during their argument moments ago, "Plus, Shaggy must've said, 'Thank God I'm so high, I can't feel my eight broken bones!'"

As the following part showed Shaggy discovering a vat of protoplasm containing all the souls of the people who were possessed, Yang described, "Shaggy then finds the souls of all the people who had their...souls sucked out."

"Okay, this is really stupid.", sighed Chibi Ruby and Chibi Yang.

Yang resumed, "And he tries to return them to their proper bodies.", as the next scene showed Velma (who was cured from possession and her soul returned back to her body) defeating a demon that possessed Daphne by exposing him to sunlight, "Whatever keeps you talking in that top, I am totally fine with."

"But some of the bodies get a little mixed up.", Blake and Weiss told the next part, the movie showing Fred's soul accidentally possessing Daphne's body.

Doc asked uncertainly, "Uh, this movie was intended for children, right?"

"I don't think it was meant for anybody.", Chibi Ruby and Chibi Yang said.

Ruby and Yang explains, "Once they get their bodies back in sync, they sneak into the bad guy's evil tomb, where Mr. Bean...who apparently is Captain Crunchchocula...is about to perform an evil ceremony to steal all the island's souls. But the team knocks him out and finds out who he really is.", the climax showing the Mystery Machine gang unmasking Mondavarious' face to reveal a robot's making the viewers gasp as the RWBY leader exclaims, "Old Man Robot?", before revealing, "Actually, no. Believe it or not, it's Scrappy.", as the scene reveals Scrappy-Doo controlling the robot Montvarious, cheering to himself by saying 'puppy power'.

"Ha!", Doc recognized, slapping his hands, "Called it!", as he does an Egyptian walk dance in celebration, while team RWBY and chibi RWBY all cry in displeasurement.

RWBY says, "ARE YOU SERIOUS?"

"That's right, Scrappy was the villain the whole time. How can something sound so right and yet feel so wrong?", Blake and Weiss suspected, before Scrappy-Doo in this scene started transforming by into a bigger, muscular version of himself using the captured souls.

Chibi Ruby, Chibi Blake and Chibi Weiss says, "In a much more clever movie, this would actually be hilarious! But here, it's just kinda awkward. It feels like last minute fanfiction."

"It's the biggest twist since finding out Martin was the bad guy in Secret of NIMH 2! A real jawdropper!", recounts Ruby, while the viewers watch the gigantic transformed Scrappy chase Shaggy and Scoob, saying 'Scooby-Doo, where are you?!', "Jesus, what, is he transforming into Pumbaa? He's like, 'Hello, Timon! I've come to eat your soul!'"

Yang also mentions, "We also get the end of Daphne's incredibly complex story arc.", as Daphne fights Montavarious' henchman Zarkos and defeats him, saving everyone's souls (literally), "We don't even get it. Was Daphne really captured that often? We don't know. We seem to remember Scooby and Shaggy being in more peril than her. Hell, we thought even Scrappy had to be saved more times."

"We think it's more she never did anything as opposed to getting captured all the time, but, yeah, We're still a little confused.", Chibi Yang mentioned, "But, hey, they do stop the evil Scrappy and his...satanic powers of Hell."

Yang tiredly said, "Oh, God, how could they not make this joke work?!"

"Hey, look, Velma hooks up with that guy she shared a sentence with. Called that one, too! And so does...Fred and Daphne?", Doc Brown resolved, "Well, that's...kind of confusing. Uh, were they a thing in the original show?"

Blake and Weiss shrug, "We don't know. Chibi us?"

"Uh, kinda. Sorta, not really.", Chibi Blake and Chibi Weiss said.

Chibi Ruby said, "People always liked to hint at it, like maybe they had a thing going, but they never actually shared any chemistry on the show."

"Well, then, the movie and the show has something in common.", Doc reviewed.

Ruby and Yang conclude, "Yeah, where in the film did they ever indicate they have a romantic interest? And now you're telling me that technically it didn't even exist in the show? I mean, does any of this satisfy any audience whatsofuckingever?!"

"We mean, Scooby-Doo is the ultimate nostalgic dream. It existed long ago, it exists today, it'll probably continue to exist in the future. Whatever it is, there's just some sort of weird, awkward, simple charm to the original that is apparently trying to carry through. But, does it work in THIS fucking piece of shit?!", Blake and Weiss argue, as they and all the other seven reviewers said no.

Team RWBY then said their overall review of the Scooby-Doo movie, "For whatever reasons, Scooby-Doo continues to keep going. There's tons of reincarnations, there's tons of different versions, there's a ton of different takes, but most of them keep what is essentially the Scooby-Doo formula and characters. Except for fucking this! If it wanted to be a satire, fine. If it wanted to be an homage, fine. But this is just a cluttered, unfocused mess. The effects are horrible, the jokes fall flat, and the characters aren't identifiable unless you watched the show. And even then, they're not that loyal to them. They're mostly just cardboard cutouts or sterotypes of the original characters, and even then, they're not really half the time stereotypes of the original characters. They're just stereotypes of stereotypes! It's incredible not only how much this movie misses the point and the ideas of the original show, but how many different moods and angles it's trying to attack it with and how many of them don't work. And worst of all, making Scrappy-Doo the villain!"

"Yeah! From my point of view, I don't remember watching the show at all! So inserting him as the bad guy makes no sense as a film on its own.", Doc said his opinion.

Chibi RWBY says their opinion as well, "Yeah, and from our standpoint, it made no sense because we know the characters, and the characters would never do this. Scrappy-Doo would never be evil, Scooby-Doo would never abandon him on the side of the street, and the series would never be this mean-spirited."

"Yeah, and from our point of view, it doesn't make sense because it wasn't fully developed from a comedic standpoint. Why? Because the movie doesn't know if it wants to be mean-spirited, light-hearted, or both. But whatever it's trying to be, it doesn't work. It just straight up fails and it straight up sucks! In conclusion, this movie can cock our asses!"

All of a sudden at the end of their review session, chibi RWBY and Doc start to fade.

"What? What's happening?", Ruby said, noticing the five of them starting to disappear.

Chibi Ruby explained, "It looks like the anomaly has been fulfilled. Since we finished reviewing the Scooby-Doo movie review, it looks like-"

"It looks like we're returning to our own universes. Not fading from existence, that one's different. The universes are now drifting apart to return to their usual states.", solved Doc.

Team RWBY all said, "But...you can't. We don't want you girls to go..."

"We know. But it looks like we all had some fun. Thank you all for letting us join your review...", Chibi RWBY all said, continuing to fade.

"But...when will we ever see you again...?"

"Maybe someday. Surely, there may be another opportunity one day where we will review with you..."

"It was...nice to have you around..."

"It sure was..."

Ruby then hugs her chibi self, while Yang, Blake and Weiss do the same to their chibi selves. Doc also comes up to them and wraps his arms around them in a big group hug.

"And thank you, Doc, for joining us.", said team RWBY.

Doc Brown replies, "Don't mention it. Maybe someday, I can visit you girls using the DeLorean. Maybe my good friend Marty McFly can visit as well."

"You sure can.", team RWBY said, as they felt the embrace of their co-reviewers fade and lose their tightness.

Chibi RWBY and Doc Brown were gone.

Back to their own dimensions.

Saddened for a few moments, the four members of team RWBY wipe their tears and said, "We're team RWBY...we remember it...so you don't have to...", leaving the room to take a breather.

Going over to the JNPR's dorm room, Ruby, Yang, Blake and Weiss saw their friends Pyrrha, Nora, Jaune, Ren, with Sun, Neptune and Penny visiting the dorm, look at the four who smile at them.

"So, how's your day been?", Pyrrha asked.

Ruby, Yang, Blake and Weiss smiled.

"It's all good."
