A/N: This chapter will feature a dark emotional backstory for Baccano character Miria Harvent in a canon/non-canon sort of way.

P.S.: I just realized I've reached over 70 chapters and 250,000 words so far. Man, what a milestone. But there'll be more to come in the near future. :)

P.S.S.: Added a few new things after watching new episodes of gen:LOCK Season 2.

Ruby Rose, Miria Harvent, Mika Harima and Celty Sturluson's Commentary of Alone in the Dark (2005) (Part 2 - Final)

"So Edward and Aline see and beast and try their best to get away from it.", Celty Sturluson continues at the beginning of the second part of their Alone in the Dark review, with a scene where Edward and Aline run away from the mysterious monster seen in the shadows.

Ruby Rose couldn't help but joke during this part, "ZUUL, MOTHERFUCKER! ZUUUUL!"

"Oh, yeah. And trap yourself inside the building, don't run out of the building or into the streets where someone can help you? This makes much more sense.", Mika Harima sarcastically told when seeing Edward and Aline hide from the monster by locking themselves in a dark room.

Miria Harvent synopsized, "But thankfully Stephen Dorff and friends come in to try and save the day, and of course, be an ignorant jackass as well.", as they spectate when Edward has a conversation with Stephen Dorff's character Commander Richard Burke as the latter said that he left the operation 713; the blonde then does a Rorschach impression, "What about the business of that little girl?"

"By the way, is he trying to out-Slater Christain Slater?", the motorcycle helmet-wearing girl questions whilst observing the same scene.

The leader of team RWBY resumes, "So Edward goes to the old doctor friend he saw earlier to see if he discovered anything about the Jesse Ventura guy.", as the four girls saw the doctor examine a dead body that happens to have symbiosis and in which the body's nervous system was compromised.

"If by compromised, you mean invincible!", presumed the brown-eyed blonde, "By the way, that's the same actor who played as Crazy Carl in the new Sonic movie."

Ruby answered, "Haven't noticed.", while the doctor in the film scans Edward as he got something strange on the scanner.

"Bet that the doctor said, 'It appears that you have... Oh! We got a cutscene. I'll tell you later.'", imitated the white hat-wearing brunette.

The red-black-haired huntress then told, " So we see the professor apparently has been keeping some of the monsters for himself. Taking their blood and injecting to his own. What does this have to do with the story? ...Absolutely nothing. Uwe Boll is just a weird fuck.", before outlooking when the professor injects the monster blood into his body.

"Hmmm! That's good MacGuffin! It's just as delicious as spinach!", humorously says Mika when doing a Popeye impression, along with the iconic chuckle; she, Celty, Miria and Ruby all remark when Edward in the movie's following snippet was about to start his next monologue, "Shut up!"

Miria disappoints, "Good Lord! He can monologue about anything like 'I was on my way to get my prostate checked, so that I'll be sure by all precautions I won't get cancer.'"

"Or, 'I suddenly realized I forgot to record the new episode of Lost.'", Celty and Mika both thought.

Ruby includes, "Or even, 'Why the hell was I in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country?'"

"But his monologing doesn't last long as he is intrrupted by Aline dropping by his place! Perhaps she's come to share some info, or figure out why he lied about being dead or...", described Celty just before they saw Aline make out with Edward, "...maybe she's just a whore."

The brown-eyed blonde sputters, "I mean, what kind of woman acts like this? Breaking in your home and starts making out with you? Granted that we'd wish more women would act like that, but this is really pushing it this far."

"Maybe she left her keys inside his mouth and can only get it with her tongue? It's best not to talk about that...", the team RWBY leader suggests.

Miria proves her point, "In fact, how come there is not narration here? Don't you think this is the good spot to have a monologue?"

"You mean like, 'I couldn't believe this chick I mean she just broke into my home and started doing me.'", the white hat-wearing brunette mocked.

The blonde with brown eyes nodded, "Right! Or, 'Maybe it's that new Axe body spray, or the fact that I started bathing again.'"

"Or also, 'Again, why the hell was I in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country?'", explained Ruby.

The motorcycle helmet-wearing girl mimicked when Edward assumed that the artifact pieces all fit together, "Again, he's like, 'Oh, is that what you call what you just did? I mean I slapped you after we hugged. You don't know what I'm gonna do after we have sex.'"

"Uh-oh! Uwe Boll is switching light on and off again! Which must mean there is danger nearby!", alerted Mika when observing the excerpt where the lights flicker and the two protagonists go to take care of the coming threat.

As Edward tells Aline to stay where she is as he has a gun in defense, Miria couldn't help but then say, "I'll abandon you bravely so you can fend for yourself!"

"So they're approached by more people with compromised nervous systems, but luckily their magic glowing bullets hurt them now.", Celty summarizes.

While a big monster is seen and was about to attack the heroes and Edward shoots it off with an assault rifle, the red-black-haired huntress joked again, "ZUU...AH! MOTHERFUC...AH! ZUUL..AH! YOU A-HOLE!"; the next snippet suddenly had the room turning dark and gunfire was seen flashing as the two heroes shoot the monsters in the darkness with rock music playing in the background, with Ruby remarking, "Oh great, the whole fight scene is shot in the dark so we can't see the action... Imagine if my series RWBY had an action scene like that, it would feel wrong like a strange hard rock music video.", who then outlined, "Luckily, Dorff and the gang drop by again to save the day."

"And how do they know these guys are evil? They could have been innocent civilians who just wandered in!", distressed the brown-eyed blonde girl, the tone of voice raising in worrisome when she said 'innocent civilians'; as Edward from the film during another snippet shoots a woman attacking Burke yet the bullet didn't hit her, "What? It didn't even hit her! I mean, look at her! It goes right above her head! Was the shot of somebody trying to kill her just too much for her to handle?"

Ruby pointed out the reason, "Actually, think about it: that gunshot was computer-generated. So the director actually had to say in post-production, 'Make sure that shot doesn't hit her'. What a cocksucking douchebag!"

"It's like he's taunting us without how bad he is, like he can post anything he wants somehow he'll still stay rich. Only in America!", the white hat-wearing brunette and the motorcycle helmet-wearing girl both supported.

The leader of team RWBY included, "And yet, ironically, with a German.", all while Burke tells Edward in the film what was happening, explaining that it was just beginning.

"How long is this movie?!", exclaims Celty and Mika as the two, Ruby and Miria all groan and moan in annoyance.

Miria complains, "This movie has a talent for somehow having too much plot and yet having no plot at all!"

"So they put together and all the nasty monsters and zombie people are coming to this world to this one cave or mine or something. So they load up and get ready to snooping around.", Mika condensed as she and the other three watch Burke have a conversation with one of his soldiers as they arrive at the drop point.

The blonde girl with brown eyes says, "I do love just random yelling."

"So everybody suits up and guards the cave to make sure no mosters or zombie folks break in. And it's probably a bad thing to mention that every single one of the soldiers has just two days left before retirement!", epitomizes Celty.

Miria adds, "So about the next ten minutes of the film is just pretty much of our heroes just roaming through this big Thunder Mountain here."

"You mean...", Mika and Celty say in unison to Miria, as the three decide to harmonously sing along as they saw Burke and his crew investigating in the cave for recon, "Padding, padding padding! Padding, padding, padding! Padding, padding, padding!"

The brown-eyed blonde capped their short song, "Hey look! A wall! That's different!"; one of the team members in Burke's crew during the scene suddenly falls through a collapsed floor, as two crew members of Burke's team yelled 'Marco' in need of a response.

"Polo.", Ruby answered.

Mika notices when they saw the guy who fell down had been impaled with spikes on the bottom, "See? That's what happens when you go up against Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat."

"So, as you can imagine, a bunch of more of those H.R. Giger droppings attack the soldiers.", elucidates the red-black-haired huntress.

The motorcycle helmet-wearing girl then prepends, "But that doesn't stop our heroes from still snooping around.", as Edward in the film suddenly said that he and the others weren't supposed to be there.

"You're. An. Idiot.", simply glared Ruby as she, Miria, Mika and Celty looked pissed off.

Miria then spectates when Burke tends to his female crew member's wounds and ensures that everything would be fine, "Well she's a goner.", until a monster comes out from the sand with the soldiers held their guns towards it but hesitating to shoot it.

"Uh, shoot it! Shoot it! Try shooting it, guys!", the white hat-wearing brunette warns the soldiers in the movie to no avail, as the monster kills off the female soldier; "And yeah, she's dead now! Thanks a lot. Bureau 713's finest, they say..."

The blonde girl with brown eyes reply as Aline tells the others whilst investigating that a warning says once they make it down there that they're already dead, "But if you come down here dead, you'll be alive!"

"Even if you're half dead and half alive, then you might have a better chance of getting fixed...", both Mika and Celty say in unison.

But as they were about to watch the next scene, they can't help but notice the deceased female soldier in Burke's crew suddenly rose her head after lying dead, seemingly a major error in the film.

Miria exasperates, "Wait a minute! She, she turned her head up!"

"What is with that? How do you get away with that? I guess Stephen Dorff was right! She really would be okay!", Celty told.

The team RWBY leader sighs, "As a matter of fact, nobody associated with this movie is okay."

"So the G.I. Schmoes work their way to the dark laboratory where they make an astonishing discovery.", describes Mika.

While a later scene had them unlocking a door to reveal more clues for them to discover, the brown-eyed blonde deduces, "Now it says if you made it to this door, you weren't intimidated by the other door.", while Edward in the film said that all the answers he had been looking for may be behind the door and Aline replying that some doors were meant to stay shut.

"Yeah, like the DVD case to this movie. But it's on Netflix anyway, so it's best not to keep a DVD copy of it...", shrugs Ruby.

As when suddenly the professor appears and confronts the heroes, the motorcycle helmet-wearing girl couldn't help but mimic him with a Scooby-Doo reference, "And I would have gotten away with it too, if it hadn't been for you pesky meddling kids!"

"Well, Scooby-Dooby-Doo.", the red-black-haired huntress topped the reference off with a smile.

"So Dorff does a perfect underhanded throw to the guy's chest.", the white hat-wearing brunette said as they spectate said excerpt, with her, Celty, Ruby and Miria copying the professor's motions after getting stabbed; she climaxed, "So then they open the door to find all sorts of monsters there ready to meet the world."

Celty continues, "They decide that the only logical thing to do is what all the people with explosives would do, explode things! So Dorff sacrifices himself, don't ask, he just does, as Edward and Aline get out through the evacuate that leads coincidentally back to the orphanage."

"Wait a minute! It was night a second ago! Now it's day! That makes no sense! Ed Wood himself played by Johnny Depp would think it has suspension of disbelief!", surprised Ruby.

Miria guessed, "So now with the monsters blown up, everything is fine, right?", as she hesitates before saying, "No! For it turns out some other group of monsters, that was never explained or shown to us, attacked the city while they are fighting in the cave, resulting in a complete evacuation of the entire city, ALL IN ONE NIGHT! Wow! That's a lot to buy, movie! That is a lot to buy.", feeling a bit discomforted by the thoughts of it.

"One. Night! They evacuated the city in one night! Holy fuckballs, is this stupid!?", the leader of team RWBY argued.

Mika and Celty tolerate, "And you know what makes really tragic is that everyone in the city has just two days left till retirement!"

"And on top of that, did those monsters do a dandy clean up job? I mean, wow! There is not a speck of debris or drop of blood on the ground. This is the cleanest of Hell's demonic minions ever!", the brown-eyed blonde girl problematically said, before suddenly thinking, "Or maybe it's like...if everyone disappeared...if everyone died but them... If everyone...died...", her anxiety rising and heart pumping in acceleration.

Miria slowly looked over to Mika and Celty fearfully, before an image flashes through her mind.

The image had a short-spiky-red-haired girl agonizingly cradling a set of early 20th century-like clothes (including hat and shoes) in sadness, as if the person who wore them had disappeared and/or vanished without a trace.

Miria gasps quietly at this imaged thought in fright. The image in her mind fades away to see Mika and Celty looking at Miria, both looking worried for her. The blonde started to panic quietly as she panted.

Ruby sees what was going on with Miria, about to touch her shoulder, "Miria Harvent? Are you oka-"

"DON'T TOUCH ME!", yelled Miria panickingly, slapping Ruby's hand away from touching her shoulder, appalling Ruby and making Mika and Celty worried.

Miria realizes what she did, panting and looking traumatized by something, as she then opens the shoji door and rushes out.

"Miria!", Ruby said as she ran after her, stopping as she asked, "What's wrong?"

"It's nothing. I'm sorry...", Miria apologized.

The RWBY leader firmly said, "I know there's something worrying you. What is it?"

"It's... It's just that...", the brown-eyed blonde couldn't bring herself to tell Ruby.

Ruby asked, "What? Just tell me. Please-"

"I LOST SOMEONE NEAR AND DEAR TO ME! OKAY?!", Miria rose her voice and turned around, saddenly and agonizingly as tears fall down her face.

This caused some of their other friends, including Yang, Blake and Weiss to wake up and others like Athena, Trucy, Maka, Tsubaki, Ann, Futaba, Natsume, Ohana, Rachel, Anri and several of their other friends to come out of their rooms to find out what the commotion was about.

Ruby hesitated after being surprised by the outburst, "Who...was it that you lost?"

"He was my partner! I lost him many years ago! Even my friends...!", Miria said, breaking down in sadness whilst remarking this.

The red-black-haired huntress tried to comfort her, "Miria, calm down- Just STOP!"

Silence ensues, with Miria still having tears fall down after she was told to stop. Their other friends (but Mika and Celty) listen carefully and came to the commotion.

"Please... What's been bothering you? Last night, you were acting a bit strange after we talked about that Rogue One review we did with Baiken. You sound like you're having some kind of PTSD. Was that because you lost your partner and your friends? Can you please explain what's the matter?", consults Ruby.

Miria sobbed a bit before wiping her tears a bit and still crying, "I'll tell you a story about what happened.", before starting, "My partner's name was Issac Dian. He was a dear friend and a partner-in-crime."

"A partner-in-crime? So you're saying, you're a criminal?", asked the team RWBY leader.

The blonde girl with brown eyes continued, "Yes. Or at least, I used to be. Me and Isaac used to be both extremely charismatic and effervescent, spreading happiness to anyone and everyone we meet without conscious effort, including friends and enemies... Though I tend to follow his lead, he was the dearest person who can make me laugh and bring a smile upon my face. There were even times whenever we were separated I get worried sick and I feel sorrowful, but there were other times that I develop a brave front and stay positive as always whenever I'm with my friends. Speaking of them, they too were dear to both of us. Including one person who is as special as Isaac... Ennis. She looked so beautiful, like a prince from a fairytale... The way she was dressed back at the time... She was one of the people that happen to be our friends, including Martillo family member and executive Firo Prochainezo, Maiza Avaro, especially including Rachel, Nice and Jacuzzi. Me and Isaac are like sugar and spice whenever we're together... But what could sugar be without its spice?"

"So I can assume you're the sugar in the situation, and the spice represents your loyal partner-in-crime? Because it's starting to make me feel very bad at this point, in all seriousness. It sounds so familiar to that anime...", Ruby pondered.

Miria explains, "And in case you guys haven't noticed... I, too...am immortal."

"Heh?", the red-black-haired huntress questioned in surprise.

Yang, Blake and Weiss heard this as they gasp in astonishment, the latter two saying when listening to the conversation, "Her too?"

"No way...", Yang mutters under her breath in interest.

Ruby figured, "Actually, I figured you were. The anime and manga explained it. There appeared to be an immortality elixir that originated as the Grand Panacea at the Advena Avis vessel ship in 1711 less than more than three centuries ago, which further became an experimental elixir around more than two centuries later known as the Cure-All Elixir, which can make any immortal by a simple drink, injection or imbidement. Which means that you and your friends must be from the early 20th century in the year 1930...which means you guys are now centennials. No wonder our own stories are out nowadays."

"Yes, but that doesn't mean they're all the same. Trust me... I know. Oh, and by the way, about Rachel, Nice and Jacuzzi? They're immortal as well.", dismissed the brown-eyed blonde.

Everyone but Celty, Mika, Rachel and Anri all exclaim, "What?!"

"Okay, now THAT sounds way different from Baccano.", nodded Athena to Trucy, excusing to her girlfriend, "What? Read them once."

The leader of team RWBY mentioned, "Okay, that's interesting. That explains why they don't look different nowadays. How come the elixir doesn't work on scars or injuries?"

"No idea. I think it only preserves the body's age for eternity rather than also heal wounds.", confirms Miria.

Ruby answers, "That's a bummer. But at least immortality may act as a great benefit."

"I even read comic books and sometimes manga at times, and all it had was possible scenarios of what would've been if... If it hadn't been when...everything changed. There came a turn of events that we call The Feastly Decimation."

"The Feastly...Decimation...?", doubted the red-black-haired huntress, feeling a bit nervous.

The immortal girl further says, "Yes. A dark yet traumatic event that happened after we had a trip on the Flying Pussyfoot transcontinental express train that almost ended in disaster. It was a string of concentrated murders orchestrated by the evil alchemist Szilard Quates in which he happened to execute after a means to join forces with the Russo family, if he had failed to sabotage the trip and kill us all. Unfortunately, unexpectedly and saddenly, these enemies killed some of our most loyal allies and loved ones that were so dear to our hearts...which included the Rail Tracer himself Felix Walken... the young yet innocent Czeslaw Meyer... Luck Gandor... Firo Prochainezo... And even...even...my beloved Issac..."

"That's terrible... Those bastards... And I could assume how did they die? Because from what I read one time, Firo was supposed to be the main hero since he, Luck, Czeslaw and Felix are important characters...", worryingly asks Ruby.

Miria said, "If an immortal puts their right hand on another immortal's forehead and think of the thought 'I want to eat', then they shall be devoured and all their memories, emotions and knowledge would be imbided into that person."

Everyone else but Rachel, Anri, Mika and Celty all gasp.

"That sounds excrutiatingly gruesome...", deeply thought the red-black-haired huntress.

The brown-eyed blonde sobs a bit, "And what's even sad is that Firo was supposed to be the dominist of our immortal kind and the dominist... But that Szilard ruined everything by killing him during our final squarrel...the same night he...killed Czeslaw...and my sweet Isaac...", crying yet again, "...I was so...devastated. I was like if Szilard was too powerful...that I wasn't strong enough... But Isaac...he sacrificed himself...to save me..."

"So what happened after? Did he-", Ruby asked what happens next, she and her friends feeling saddened.

The immortal replied, "Fortunately, we finished him off that same night. After he killed off three of our friends during the final fight, Ennis was the one to finish the job. She exacted revenge on her own creator, because she herself was an immortal homunculus."

"A creation who kills its own creator. Doesn't it sound like a creator who hates its own creation or the other way around?", the team RWBY leader guesses.

Miria remarks, "Not quite.", resuming, "And because of that, Ennis now became the dominist which is also known as a maximum-grade domina, and The Feastly Decimation had finally come to an end... There were 37 casualties both mortal and immortal in total... Isaac..."

"First off, I can't believe they killed off Firo...", Ruby replied, "Second, everything that you just said in your story up to this pointwas very dark. Heck, it's as dark as the worst alternate endings in the Baccano Nintendo DS game. Isaac died in one of the endings and he broke up the partnership in another.", before realizing she was inadvertently giving Miria more grief, "Listen, Miria. I'm very sorry for your losses. Me and my teammates, Blake, Weiss and my elder sister Yang, and even our friends here, we give our condolences to you. I'm very sure Isaac was a good man. He would be very proud of you right now."

The blonde girl with brown eyes sniffled, "Since then, alongside other fellow immortals like Maiza Avaro, Sylvie Lumiere and Elmer C. Albatross, we still celebrated after our victory and mourned the lives that were lost in those dark times. It had brought great sorrow upon all of us...", also saying, "Even friends like Nice Holystone, Jacuzzi Splot, Rachel, Chane Laforet and Donny all chose to become immortal by taking the immortality elixir that we all mistaken as celebratory alcohol, though we all still keep the elixir back home in our fine residential base of operations in New York City, now under our special community known as The Domestic Association of Immortalized Individuals."

"Honestly, that name and their residential province is actually quaint since there's the Big Apple and all this and that. We heard about 9/11 or the New Year's Eve celebration every year at Times Square- I mean, it's a very good, but not great to live in.", Ruby's sister Yang tells her fellow teammates Blake and Weiss while listening to this.

Blake understood, "But some of her friends that died...they must've been immortal too. It totally sounds like manslaughter. Murder on the highest degree."

"Even the amount of lore though. We honestly didn't know there was such a community like that. Very interesting.", precisely says Weiss to her fellow teammates.

The red-black-haired huntress replies to the female immortal's ongoing story, "So since you and your friends now reside in New York, how about Celty, Mika and Anri? How did you guys know a lot about each other."

"Some time ago, I met the three of them during one vacation in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. When they introduced me to their other friends Erika Karisawa, twins Kururi and Mairu Orihara, Manami Mamiya, Rio Kamichika, Emilia Kishitani, and Celty's Russian assassin girlfriend Vorona, I convinced them to join our community back in New York, with our initiation being to drink or inject the immortality elixir. Speaking of which, even our dear immortal friend Maiza Avaro happens to be the only one who now remembers the complete formula for the concoction that could make the elixir, but we promised to each other that it wouldn't be brought into the public eye and be kept a secret.", continued Maika, hesitating before she mentions, "And as for Ennis...she still stuck around with me and our friends over the years...", as she pulls out a small picture out of her pocket and looking at it.

The picture included Miria and her friend Ennis, who had short-spiky-red-hair, red eyes and had red lipstick at the time they took the picture. They both wore extravagant dresses (Ennis' outfit consisting of a sleeveless black dress with a thin gold choker and smooths down her spiky red hair) and the photograph seemed to have been taken either in the final years of the 20th century or around the start of the millennium in 2000.

"...the way she smiled...made me happy throughout this long time.", sorrows the brown-eyed blonde, sighing as she put the photo back in her pocket, "That was when at some point...she ventured into the unknown as a means of self-discovery...but I haven't seen her since. It's been a month at least since I've last saw her.", also saying, "I also haven't forgotten about Isaac since that fateful day. He loved detective books, so I collected several Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot novels in dedication and memory of him. And when the 80's or 90's came into place, I started having a fascination for comic books as well but above all else, I couldn't stop thinking about Isaac... That's why I don't want to see loved ones die... I've been trying to keep myself straightened up after the tragedy, but it still lingers within my mind. For years...even decades. I just wonder if I could be normal again..."

Ruby comforted, "Miria, listen.", before saying, "We know you're feeling a lot of burden down your shoulders with a bad case of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, but you're not the only one who has lost someone special. For me and my older sister Yang, it was our mother. It happened when I was very young.", mentioning about her deceased mother Summer Rose.

"Same here.", said Athena, "I still miss her to this day.", talking about her deceased mother Metis Cykes.

Cameron saddened, "To tell you the truth, my parents...and my siblings...they passed on due to illness.", saying, "It hurts thinking back on it, but I still will remember them...because I won't forget the memories we shared...and I won't resort to sadness."

Tsubaki saddened as she joined in, "My older brother passed on as well, and even to this day, I still miss you.", about her brother Masamune.

"You see? Although we have lost the ones we hold dear, we still remember them and dedicate them to our hearts. I think it's best if you stop thinking about the past and honor your friend, just like how we dedicate ours.", confided the leader of team RWBY.

Miria wipes her tears from her face again, "Thank you. I just hope I'll be alright soon enough."

"I'm sure you will. Plus, you have your friends to count on you. You even made new ones in the past, no doubt. Including me and Mika.", reminiscenced Celty.

Ruby adds, "Then again, Isaac would be very proud of what you and your friends did. Even his memories might lie within that other friend of yours, since immortals can imbide memories of other people after devouring them. We still wonder if we could meet her at some point, wherever she is in the world."

"I hope so," sniffles the female immortal, "I'm glad we got to meet good friends like all of you.", before Ruby decided to hug her, as everyone watching and listening to their conversation felt proud for them.

The red-black-haired huntress states, "I feel like we should finish up the review and...get ready for breakfast. You good?", reassuring and asking Miria.

"I think I'm ready.", Miria answers.

Ruby smiled, "Let's go end the review.", as she, Miria, Celty and Mika all go back inside the latter three's washitsu guest room to conclude their Alone in the Dark review.

"That's my sister.", Yang simply says as they saw the four go back in the room to end their movie review, closing the shoji door.

Back inside the washitsu guest room, Celty and Mika nevertheless concluded Alone in the Dark's ending as Edward and Aline were wandering through the empty streets of the city, "And just when you thought this movie couldn't possibly rip off any other famous horror films, tell us what this reminds you of.", before the ending of the movie had a strange entity (presumably the creature)'s POV suddenly zoom and swoops in onto Edward and Aline, pursuing them and likely killing them off, "Well... Watch Evil Dead much?", as they show a clip with Celty's phone from The Evil Dead's ending in which Bruce Campbell's character is attacked from behind by an unseen entity in its POV zooming and swooping in before cutting to black like the other film before Celty turns the video off her phone.

"So that was Uwe Boll's Alone in the Dark. How does it fair up? Horrible!", critiqued the brown-eyed blonde.

Mika rated, "It's god awful!"

"Deplorable.", simply says Ruby.

Celty reasoned, "You see why this guy is called the next Ed Wood.", before she gave their overall opinion on the movie by connipting, "The story makes no sense, there is no originality, the plot holes are just gigantic and on top of all that, it hasn't nothing to do with the game it was based on!"

"And based on the Rotten Tomatoes score being exactly 0%, it definitely deserves to be forgotten.", the leader of team RWBY finished, "Now that's over with...let's get ready for breakfast."

Miria agrees, "For sure."

"Would it be fine if we eat breakfast after you guys? I don't think we feel hungry, but we'll eat later on.", Celty requested, "I tend to wear my helmet at most times."

Ruby replied, "Oh, so like the Mandalorian. Okay then. Whatever suits you. But you do have to eat breakfast soon."

"Sounds alright.", Mika sweetly told.

As the four girls turn off the movie and go leave the washitsu guest room through the shoji door, Ruby then saw her elder sister Yang and her teammates Blake and Weiss, as well as some of their other friends who were listening to their conversation earlier outside the room.

"So, how did it go? I heard what Miria said earlier, and we just wanted to say our condolences to what has happened to her in the past. We're aware of Miria's immortality. I'm surprised you and your friends are as immortal as Baiken.", Yang respectfully greeted.

Ruby simplistically replies, "It was one of the worst films I've ever seen that's made by one of the worst directors of all time. But her story really touched us."

"Don't forget us. We're immortal too.", Rachel noted, "I'm glad I spent all these years living with the many benefits of life that is to offer. Including travelling to distant places...the sake of entertainment...and having a handful of friends to be there for you."

Ruby, Yang, Blake and Weiss felt softened by Rachel's remarks, as team RWBY decided to hug her out of heartwarming emotion.

"Whoa, whoa...", the dark-blonde-haired girl in coveralls said in mild surprise, "Easy there, girls."

The red-black-haired huntress considered, "You should really hang out with us four more often. You're pretty incredible for a girl in coveralls."

"Well said.", Rachel smiled as everyone else at the scene but her and team RWBY laughed.

Athena looks over to Anri as she also considered, "Same with you too. Though I'm a lawyer, I tend to review shitty games. You?"

"Once in a while, I review board games.", Anri Sonohara truthfully told the orange-haired girl, "It's a minor hobby if I have to say. Pretty fun too."

The female attorney puts her arm around Anri's shoulder, "Fair enough."

"And as for you three...Miria, Mika and Celty...you are really great friends to hang out with.", Ann Takamaki told with heartfelt.

Ohana gleefully adds, "Like my friends and family back in Yunosagi and the hot spring ryokan inn Kissuiso, run by my loving grandmother Sui Shijima. Minko Tsurugi is one of my best friends back home as well!"

"Well, the more cobbers the merrier.", Natsume spoke in her Australian accent, as she, Ann and Ohana embrace Miria, Mika and Celty in a friendship/sisterly fashion.

Ruby told the others, "Come on. Let's wake the others up and have breakfast.", as everyone then followed team RWBY as they went off to get their other friends (including Ty Lee, Baiken and the others) for breakfast.
