YingYangshipping (Otogi x Kisara)

. . .

"New shipment for Black Clown?"

"Oh, yeah, thanks, you wanna just bring the boxes into the back here?"

There was a brief bustle of activity as the two delivery men brought the small stack of boxes into the back room of the game shop. Otogi blew out as he gazed over the new inventory. Well...so much for having the afternoon off. He was going to have to organize and stuff.

He slit open the first box. Monster World stuff. No need to put that out right away; it was going slowly lately.

He opened the next one – ah, here it is, the newest designs for his DDM game. He had finally gotten the rights to produce dice monsters based on some of the more popular Duel Monsters characters; since Pegasus had died it had been much harder to get new designs off the ground.

Otogi grinned as he pulled out the box for the prototypes that would display in the case; the rest would be sold in their blind bag format. He couldn't wait to see the finished products, though, and popped the box open.

Oh yes, these were gonna go fast. He pulled out a miniature Red Eyes Black Dragon, turning it around with a smile. His eyes fell back into the box and his grin widened. Oh, Kaiba was going to be so pissed, and the thought was hilarious.

He popped the little Blue Eyes White Dragon die out of its nook. It was a perfect little replica of the gorgeous creature, small but sinous and elegant. Oh, yes, Kaiba was going to be really super pissed off that other people were going to be able to use the Blue Eyes White Dragon...even if it was in a game that he didn't care about.

The light glimmered off the edges of the mini Blue Eyes, and Otogi found himself mesmerized. It really was a magnificent being. He could see why Kaiba was so enamored with it. Of course, Kaiba's interest seemed to border on obsession, making Otogi wonder what the hell had happened to him in his childhood to make him latch onto a fictional dragon like that.

As he turned it in his fingers, the light flashed a bit too brightly off it and into his eyes. He swore as he blinked rapidly.

For a brief moment, like an afterimage from the light, he thought he saw the shape of a person sitting in front of him. A shape like a woman, about his height, with hair that glimmered and spread down her back like a waterfall.

But it was gone just as quickly.

Otogi glanced around. Had he...just imagined that?

He stared down at the dragon again. Then he half smiled.

"Well," he muttered. "Maybe if you wish reallly hard, Kaiba."

He almost thought he heard a soft laugh behind him.

. . .

A/N: This was one that was actually created I think during the project, soooo...adding it in. There we go. Not much else to say for this pairing. It's not a very interesting dynamic.
