Episode 5: "First Day at Hunter School…"
Team RWBY and Team JNPR ran as fast as they could to class. They were late for their first class, Professor Peter Port's class on the Creatures of Grimm. Ruby lead the group to the class, even though she had no idea where the classroom is.
"It's this way! No! It's that way! No…!" Ruby said aloud as she, her teammates, & her friends on another team rushed to the class, lost all the way as Ruby thought, Oh jeez, where is Goku and his Instant Transmission deal when you need him?
Ruby was so focused on her thoughts that she nearly ran into a flying Goten and Trunks, heading the opposite direction they were heading.
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" Ruby shouted at the hybrid boys, who didn't even notice her. The eight future hunters & huntresses didn't waste any more time as they quickly tried to get to Grimm Studies.
Meanwhile, Goten and Trunks were zipping around the school's corridors, Trunks was leading Goten as the younger Saiyan asked his friend, "So…why are we going to see that mean lady at her office again?"
Trunks sighed as he answered, "Because our moms want us to continue studying, not that it really matters in this place that's basically school for fighting those monsters from yesterday…"
Goten laughed a little at the mention of the monsters, and replied, "Yeah…they were really weak. I think we overdid it going Super Saiyan, let alone fuse…"
Trunks said in response, "Don't you get it, by going Super Saiyan, we give those black monsters a reason to be scared of us. Plus, your dad went Super Saiyan against the one he fought, so maybe they were stronger than us without Super Saiyan."
"I don't know Trunks…" Goten said, "…Even if those ones were stronger than the others, they seemed too weak to use Super Saiyan on them…"
The two talked about this kind of thing for a few minutes until Glynda Goodwitch found the two boys and said, "There you two are! You're the only ones left for the private tutoring your mothers have us give you two…March in there, and pay attention to your tutor."
Goten complained quietly, "Man…I thought we didn't have to do any school stuff here…"
Trunks did the same, "This won't be any fun, I know it's gonna be so boring…"
Meanwhile…
At Beacon Academy's Library…
Bulma was looking through all the books she could find about space travel, but unfortunately for her, most of them were science-fiction novels, especially a few with misleading titles and book summaries.
"No! No! No! This isn't it either!" Bulma shouted, only for the librarian to shush her, and she replied, "Sorry…"
The closest thing to what she could find, that on itself was helpful a little, was a science book involving the uses of Dust, and how it doesn't seem to work outside of Remnant's atmosphere.
"I suppose that explains to me why humanity didn't just leave this planet…" Bulma thought to herself as she was perusing through another book, "…it wasn't so much they didn't want to leave, but they cannot leave. That's a shame…"
"So the world you came from is capable of interstellar travel?" Ozpin asked Bulma as he walked to her.
Bulma sighed as she explained to him, "Not so much a world, more like an entirely different universe…hell, maybe even reality as there are way too many differences between what I know, and what you know…"
Ozpin nodded in understanding as the woman finished, "Honestly, the best I can describe me and my friends' predicament is that of a full-blown science-fiction story…"
"I know the type of story you are mentioning very well…" Ozpin replied as he handed Bulma a cup of tea, "…Usually in those kinds of stories, I believe that there were scientific explanations for how you got here, and how you can return…"
"That's for sure…" Bulma said as she took a sip of the tea like she was taking a swig of beer, "…Except I don't have a way to understand and compare your universe's physics to mine…"
The headmaster of Beacon thought about it, and replied, "Maybe you can seek assistance from two of Beacon's brightest students…Pyrrha Nikos & Weiss Schnee."
Bulma thought about it, then said, "Sure, I say that because I'm sure your laws of physics are similar, if not, the same as mine…"
The headmaster hid his thoughts well, as Bulma observed, she knows that Ozpin knew much more about this world than he let on.
Bulma asked Ozpin, "Why do you want me to be a part of this 'organization' you're a part of? Because if it's some kind of thing where people get hurt, then that's where I'm drawing the line…!"
Ozpin had expected this would happen, but didn't expect it to have taken as long as it did, so he answered her question…
"That's a matter best discussed behind closed doors, without anyone…let's say, 'unsavory', eavesdropping…but all I can tell you at the moment is that we're fighting to protect mankind from forces that wish to destroy it, apart from the Grimm…"
Bulma was curious about what Ozpin meant by that, but in hindsight, when he first offered the position, he did give the implication that this organization was of the 'secret society' type, and as such, not all the details could be revealed at the time.
Bulma replied, "Okay…is there anyone else you want me to bring along to discuss this further?"
Ozpin thought best about who should come with, especially as he had gotten better informed about his guests. He thought at the moment, that it might not be such a good idea to let Goku and Vegeta in on the truth of who he was fighting against, at least for now. So he answered Bulma after neatly stacking the books on the table…
"Piccolo, Master Roshi, & Gohan seem trustworthy enough…" he said as he and Bulma headed for the door, "From what I gather about all of you, your husband and your friend, the 'Saiyans', are probably not ideal to let them know about these kinds of things yet."
Bulma laughed a little as she replied, "That's true I suppose, if this secret thing is a crazy strong person, Goku would jump at the opportunity to try and find, then fight this someone…all to get stronger…"
Ozpin realized then that Goku, he's a real warrior, and chose wisely, because if the Queen of the Grimm was attacked by a naive idiot like Goku, she'll likely accelerate whatever plans she had in place. He doesn't know when, but he's certain she'll attack sooner than he would like…
"So…shall we head to my office to discuss the terms of our 'business' agreement…?" Ozpin asked, to which Bulma answered, "Sure thing, I'll let Piccolo, Master Roshi, & Gohan know as well…"
Great Cafeteria Hall…
Two Hours later…
It was lunchtime for the students of Beacon Academy. The faculty rarely eat with the students in the Cafeteria, but they are making an exception for today. Because some of the school's guests have decided to eat here, and most of the faculty decided to observe them, the massive hall was busy as a mall in terms of chatter…
Especially concerning the five (seven technically) Saiyans who were eating a football team's worth of food each!
Goku has already gone through his 39th plate to the sheer disbelief plastered on Team RWBY, Team JNPR, & Glynda Goodwitch's faces. They're expressions (especially those of Yang, Weiss, & Jaune) became slack jawed when Goku asked after polishing off the meal, "More please! I'm still hungry!"
Yang threw her hands all over in disbelief as she commented, "He ate enough food to feed a village, and is STILL hungry?!"
Krillin answered the blonde after finishing his lunch, "Trust me, I know exactly how you feel, and I've known Goku since he was a kid. I've never gotten used to how Saiyans are bottomless pits when it comes to food…"
Ozpin himself was caught off-guard at the, frankly, frightening appetite of Saiyans, and thought to himself, I better adjust the budget to account for the appetite of these Saiyans and Majin Buu if what Hercule Satan said to me about him is true…
Weiss said to herself, "How could these guys eat so much food?! I am so glad they didn't have dinner at my home, my dad would kick them out and have a heart attack from the food bill that will likely result from such an encounter."
Blake herself found all five Saiyans eating so unbelievably disgusting, she couldn't look away. Sheer awe was all that was plastered on her face as Goku's wife brought out more food for the Saiyans with help from 18 and Videl. She wanted to look away, but the absurdity kept her eyes fixed on them, so much so she dropped her favorite book she was reading onto her own lunch, and kept looking at the visitors.
Piccolo noticed they were all getting even more attention than he wanted, and said to them, "Goku! Haven't you heard of manners? You're worse than a pig with how you stuff your face!"
Goku muffled his response from trying to talk with what Weiss could only guess was three pounds of food in his mouth, to which the Namekian replied, "And don't try to talk with your mouth full! It's disgusting, and I don't even eat!"
Goku swallowed all that food in a big gulp that made most of team JNPR cringe and rub their throats barely imagining what it must feel like to gulp down all that food in one gulp (a mix of pain from some past knowledge). The Saiyan then repeated what he tried to say, "But it's so delicious! And I don't want it to go to waste!"
Piccolo rolled his eyes at Goku's response, but then focused them on the future counterpart of Vegeta's son, and noticed he didn't seem to have the infamous Saiyan appetite. He thought about it, and realized that Trunks might have lost his appetite due to his time machine being missing. But, for whatever reason, Piccolo can't help but feel that the young man's emotions about the time machine were being…forced, for some reason…
He pushed those thoughts out of his head when Bulma asked the green man, "Hey Piccolo, Professor Ozpin wanted you, me, Gohan, & Roshi over at his office to discuss something privately. I'm thinking of having Trunks come with us, because I get the feeling it's going to be important."
Piccolo had a curious look on his face as he answered, "Fine, and I get the feeling that it has something to do regarding why he wants us to help train the students here…"
Bulma let Gohan, Roshi, and the future version of her son know and all five headed for the headmaster's office, the last thing they heard was the two pure Saiyans asking for more food, and Ruby exclaiming how they could eat 50 plates each, and still be hungry.
A Half-Hour Later…
At Professor Ozpin's Office…
Ozpin revealed to the four (five in truth after being convinced) the real reason the academies serve, and why he wanted Bulma's help in his inner circle…
He told them everything, about the fact he's a cursed warrior constantly reincarnated in new bodies, about the relics, about the brother deities, and about Salem, the 'Queen of the Grimm'.
Bulma wasn't sure how to feel, and her son's future counterpart looked really shocked and angry at Ozpin (but this time, Piccolo knew something seemed off with the time traveler). Roshi looked very stern, as flashes of the hell that was Piccolo's father, the original King Piccolo, resurged in his mind. Piccolo was very suspicious of Ozpin, (and the future version of Trunks), he knew somehow, that Ozpin wasn't telling the whole truth about Salem. Piccolo somehow also knew that Ozpin seemed suspicious when he first laid eyes on him, and his hunch was right on the money.
Gohan was quiet for the whole thing, then said, "Wow…where's Grand Zeno or Beerus the Destroyer when you need them…"
Ozpin looked curious at Gohan, he knew of Beerus thanks to these world saviors, but this 'Grand Zeno' was news to him.
He asked, "Who is Grand Zeno?"
Bulma explained, "He's the Omni-king of the entire multiverse, all twelve universes are under his rule. You also recall the incident with Zamasu and Goku Black, as well as the Tournament of Power?"
Ozpin nodded as Bulma continued, "Well Zeno was the one who erased the entire multiverse timeline my son here came from, or at least an alternate version. He could easily wipe out all of existence and hardly break a sweat, and he makes gods like Beerus cower in fear…"
This unnerved Ozpin, this Grand Zeno sounds absolutely monstrous, and by comparison, Salem is a drop of water compared to this ruler of all universes, who's emotions were comparable to a child's. He took a tiny bit of relief that there was a MUCH BIGGER fish than Salem, and Zeno could easily deal with her. But, he may just wipe out their entire universe, gods and planets and all, if Salem displeases him, so he's relieved he doesn't have to deal with such a fickle supreme god.
Piccolo said with a faint harshness, "I appreciate you letting us know about this Salem, but there's clearly more to this than you care to let us know…and I want to know what!"
Ozpin quickly realized that Piccolo (and maybe Roshi) might be obstacles in his crusade, because if they find out the truth, they may…
"Come on Piccolo!" Gohan interrupted the headmaster's thoughts, "I know that too, but he must have a good reason for not telling us yet. You know, a whole 'earn my trust' kind of thing…"
Ozpin maintained a calm composure, while hiding very nervous emotions, as Piccolo relented, "*Sigh* Fine…I'll play along for now, but I'm keeping my eye on you…"
He glared at Ozpin as he said that, and the immortal replied, "I understand…"
"Good…" Piccolo huffed as he headed for the door, prompting Gohan to ask, "Hey Piccolo, where are you going?"
Piccolo answered, "I want to know exactly what we're up against, so I'm gonna confront Salem to get a read on her power…"
Ozpin practically had a heart attack when he heard that, and he wasn't the only one as Goodwitch snapped, "Wait a moment! You can't go confronting her…"
Piccolo gave the assistant headmistress a threatening glare as he interrupted her, "If you think you can stop me, go right ahead! I dare you!"
Roshi pulled on the blonde's cape as he said, "Let him go…I admit myself that we would like to evaluate this Salem's strength ourselves. Piccolo is the best choice, he's not dumb enough to attack this witch full force. And Gohan, you need to stay put yourself, your power and emotions will only draw Goku and Vegeta's attention, and will likely make the situation worse for all of us."
Gohan nodded, while Glynda Goodwitch simply grunted and allowed Piccolo to leave.
Trunks said, "I'll go with him to be sure that we don't draw too much attention to us either from Salem, or from Goku and Father…"
Ozpin sighed as the time traveler and Namekian left the office, then flew off in the distance.
Bulma looked at Ozpin and said, "Well, I take it you've kept the entire world out of the loop regarding this Salem, so I'll trust you enough to take you up on your offer. But, there are two things; first, I doubt you can keep this secret forever from anyone, especially the world, your students, or the other Saiyans, so be prepared for that…"
Ozpin nodded as he asked, "And second…?"
Bulma answered, "I agree with Piccolo, so if you want me to help out more than I already am willing, I expect you to tell us the whole truth…deal?"
Ozpin shook Bulma's hand and replied, "Deal", he was really relieved as his little organization had a science angle, all his bases were covered. But, worry still plagued his mind, full of doubts Salem could be stopped, even by powerful warriors like Goku…
Oh, if only he knew…
Meanwhile…
With Vegeta…
Vegeta was fuming, he would rather be training right now, but Ozpin, and a bit of forceful coercion from Bulma, had requested that he navigate the academy's layout.
Of all the…GRAHG! This is no time to sit around and teach some snot-nosed brats how to fight! Vegeta angrily thought in his mindspace, Even if these Creatures they're training to destroy aren't that much to defeat, I still can't help but feel a battle is looming on the horizon…I do not trust that old man, I know he's hiding something…
His thoughts were interrupted by someone he would rather not deal with right now…
"You have got to be joking…" he said to himself under his breath, "I happen to run into this woman of all of them…"
He was talking about Weiss Schnee, and he would've rather ignored her until he heard her say to someone…
"…I think I am more qualified to be leader, don't you think Professor?"
Vegeta looked briefly and listened in, not actually spying per-say, as Weiss' voice was loud enough that he really didn't need to eavesdrop intently. Weiss was talking with Professor Peter Port of Grimm Studies, knowledgeable if he can quit with his stories. Vegeta thought very little of him when he was introduced to the portly teacher, as he pretty much forgot his name only a few minutes after hearing his name. He certainly has the experience of a seasoned warrior that he can respect, but everything else, chiefly his rather poor power level, made Vegeta think he would be better off being torn to pieces by the Grimm, and knew Port wouldn't last half a second against a monster like Frieza.
Vegeta leaned against a lamppost outside close to the two, and heard Port's reply to Weiss' words, "Yes, you are qualified to be a leader, but Ozpin chose Ms. Rose to be leader instead. I trust Ozpin with my life, he has made no mistakes in the company he carries, or who he deems should be leader. You should learn to try and help Ms. Rose in ways only you can do…"
Hmph…same words I decided to fall by. He knows what he's talking about… Vegeta thought as he crossed his arms.
Weiss seemed to have been slightly shocked at what Professor Port said to her, but was otherwise thankful to her teacher, so she bowed and thanked Port and he left.
Weiss stood there for a half second, and then began to walk away in the direction Vegeta was and he said to her, "You know that trying to surpass that little girl as leader is pointless…"
Weiss jolted a little at the Saiyan Prince speaking to her, and said with surprise (and feeling a little insulted), "I don't care! Besides, how long were you there?"
"Hmph, long enough woman…" Vegeta lightly smirked as Weiss whined that her name was Weiss, not woman, "…I wasn't really trying to hide my energy, and the fact you had no idea I was here told me everything I wanted to know…"
Weiss was about to ask what he was talking about, until he added, "You shouldn't try to match that little girl on the same level, you should try to surpass her in your own way…"
"Well, that was…helpful…I suppose…" Weiss replied, then asked, "Just, what about me not knowing you were here told you?"
Vegeta smirked as he answered, "Even though these 'Grimm' monsters are threats to your world, compared to the enemies that clown Kakarot and I have faced, you're better off fighting the Grimm than the foes we fought. They were powerful enough to destroy planets quite easily by themselves, unassisted by men or weapons, making them blow up like those bomb things you earthlings call them…"
Weiss' eyes twitched at this, the idea of powerful enemies on a scale the Saiyan described, made her want to chew out this man for over-exaggerating. But, the feeling she got from looking at his eyes, kept her mouth shut.
"Keep that in mind…" Vegeta said cryptically, "…Become the best, in your own way, and don't let anyone else surpass you. I refuse to be second fiddle with Kakarot, so you should do the same with your teammate…"
Weiss asked, "Who is this 'Kakarot' person you keep talking about?"
Vegeta interrupted before she could add anything more to her question, "You seriously already forgot? Kakarot, that's the Saiyan name & birth name for the one called Goku…"
"You mean that guy?!" Weiss replied, quite shocked that Goku was someone Vegeta was 'second-fiddle' to…
But, before she could say anything else, Vegeta vanished in front of her, leaving the heiress alone, which she prompted to go see Ruby after a minute of processing everything Port and Vegeta said to her.
Elsewhere, Goku let out a loud sneeze, loud enough for a few wandering students away from him to jolt in a bit of fright as a nearby bench blew up a second after the sneeze…
Goku snorted as he rubbed his nose, "Hmm…I wonder if Vegeta is talking about me again? Must be talking how he will get stronger than me…"
Goku proceeded to try and resume napping after touring the school grounds. He, Krillin, and 18 (holding her daughter Marron as she slept) walked around so they get a feel of the entire student and faculty body, so they can better sense of their energies for any reason…
Krillin asked his best friend, "You felt Piccolo and Trunks' ki Goku?"
Goku chuckled a little, and answered, "Yeah, I wonder if they were going somewhere remote to train? Man, I would like to go with them, but Chichi told me to not only know my way around this school, but also get to know those girls better, uh, what we're their names again? The silver-eyes one and the others?"
18 answered Goku's question with a slightly exasperated expression, "Ruby Rose, Yang Xiao Long, Blake Belladonna, & Weiss Schnee. Seriously, how much do you like to train to forget their names?"
Goku laughed as he answered that he wasn't sure himself, making Krillin say to himself, "Saiyans…unless you're strong, they pay no attention to you…"
Speaking of Team RWBY, Weiss Schnee found the four on her way to her team's room, she was hesitant to talk with Goku again, as this man, she thought, seemed too dumb for his own good.
Goku noticed Weiss and 'appeared' (as in moving as the characters usually do in DB/Z/GT/S) before her, causing the heiress to yip in surprise as he said, "Hey there!"
Weiss fell flat on her butt as Krillin and 18 walked up to the two, Weiss angrily snapping at Goku, "Hey! Watch where you're…whatever you just did! You nearly gave me a heart attack, you idiot!"
Goku defensively raised his hands and cowered a little as he replied to the white-haired girl, "Sorry 'bout that…I just noticed your energy and you seemed to be thinking about something…"
Weiss snapped, "I'll tell you if you would leave me alone, I was talking with Professor Port about my partner, then that Vegeta guy gave me advice…"
"Hold up! Vegeta gave YOU advice?! Ha-ha! The world must be ending if he ever did that!" Krillin joked as he overheard, making Goku say, "Come on Krillin, Vegeta gives plenty of advice…"
"You mean the whole, 'Stop being a clown, Kakarot!' kind of deal? Yeah, sure…" Krillin snickered, then shut himself up when his wife gave him an unamused glare.
Weiss sighed as she continued, "Yes, and now I'm off to my team's room to talk with Ruby…"
Goku interrupted, "Oh! I'll take you there, no trouble. I have managed to figure out what's been happening with my Instant Transmission somewhat. So I can lock onto Ruby's energy and take you there!"
Weiss tried to decline Goku's offer as he placed a hand on her shoulder, and then the two warped before Krillin could tell Goku to wait.
"*Sigh*…Goku, sometimes, he never changes…" Krillin said to himself, making 18 reply, "That's an understatement for what he did, doesn't he know that by now-…"
The killer android didn't get to finish what she was saying before a loud shriek came from one of the dorm rooms.
Krillin said with exasperation and his eye twitching a smidge, "He does now if that shriek is any indicator…"
At Team RWBY's Dorm Room…
Android 18 and Krillin were helpful told ahead of time by Professor Goodwitch that around this time usually, that a lot of the students (mostly the girls) take showers as a part of some kind of school tradition that started some 38 years ago. Goku wasn't aware (or he forgot/didn't listen fully) of this fact and as such, appeared in Team RWBY's dorm room. Right as Yang and Blake were completely naked in nothing but a towel, and Ruby was in her underwear.
Yang was the one who let out that scream as she pelted a cowering Goku with bullets from her gauntlets, and Blake was throwing everything but the sink at Goku as well. Ruby was cowering in a corner wrapped up in her cape, and all three girls were as red as cherries.
"GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT!" Yang shouted as she desperately kept her towel from falling off.
"LECHER! PERVERT! PEEPING TOM!" Blake exclaimed loudly, she shouted at a volume rare for a person like her.
"OW! OW-OW-OW-OW-OW-OW-OW! Sorry! I didn't know! I swear!" Goku pleaded, he was getting flashbacks to the times he accidentally incurred Bulma's and Launch's wrath when he was a boy.
Yang, Blake, and Ruby weren't so much embarrassed (they were, but not as much to make them act like this) as they were surprised by Goku, and the shock made them react as most girls do in a situation like this.
Weiss tried to calm all three of them down and explain the situation, while also telling the Saiyan, "Goku! Just get out of here!"
Goku didn't need to be told and he scurried out of the room like a monkey as he kept on getting pelted by bullets, bath bottles, & such, until he was out of the room.
Goku let out a huge sigh of relief as he said to himself, "They didn't have to go that far, and it was an accident…"
"What was an accident, Goku?"
Goku's spine felt a chill when he heard a familiar tone, and saw who it belonged to once he turned around.
Bulma and Chichi were giving the Saiyan death glares that could kill, and Goku gulped with fright in anticipation of what he knew was coming.
Meanwhile, Weiss was talking to her teammates and explained the situation, and that they probably should apologize to Goku for their reaction to his 'unexpected' visit.
In the background, one could barely make out Chichi and Bulma viciously chew Goku out for his blunder while he cowered. This happened after the girls who showered got into their clothes, faces still as red as red can be.
Weiss noticed Ruby pulling out a school workbook from her bag and thought about what Peter Port and Vegeta said to her earlier. Her conversations with the two ringing in her head.
She took a deep breath, and said, "Hey Ruby…? We need to talk…"
Meanwhile…
At the Lair of Salem…
Piccolo used some Namekian magic to alter his clothes and tried to alter his voice in preparation for his little 'experiment' in finding out how powerful Salem really is. Trunks was there as well, having been told to interrupt the fight once Piccolo gave the word, and to do so in Super Saiyan. That witch was likely unaware of who Trunks was if he transformed, his blueish-gray hair hidden by a golden glow.
Trunks asked his friend, "Are you certain that this is where that Salem woman is?"
Piccolo calmly answered, "Dead certain…one thing we know about the Grimm is that they don't emit ki, and broadening my sense in detecting ki told me that this desolate land is where a lot of them are located."
Trunks understood as he exclaimed, "Oh! I get it! Because Salem is more or less the 'Queen of the Grimm' as Ozpin told us, she's likely where the Grimm are most focused, or even if the Grimm were from here…"
"Exactly, and you remember what I've told you?" Piccolo asked, to which the young warrior nodded in understanding.
Piccolo smirked as he flew into the Grimm's Territory, "Alright Salem, let's see how powerful you really are…"
To be continued…
Next Chapter: The Art of Ki…Beginner's Course to Martial Arts…
Author's & Beta-Reader's Notes:
A notice beforehand, I'm taking a college course or two since late September, so my writing more chapters in this story will be limited. In the capacity of me taking much longer to push them out for reading. Expect delays as long or longer that it was for this chapter from the last…
This doesn't really affect my other story, Highschool DxD: The Transformers…, in most forms, and because of something I've recently suggested to JLyman, he may have something in store to tie this story with that one…for now, we'll see…
The next chapter will be something of a time skip to take place during the Forever Falls portion of Season One of RWBY, so notes of what to expect;
-The 'class' that the Z Warriors will help teach would be established…
-A greater focus on Jaune and Pyrrha as far as the RWBY side of the crossover is concerned…
-A flashback or two explaining one or two things about what happened in-between…
Hopefully this could tide you over as far as clues of what's to come. Theorize away…
Now, onto specific notes for this chapter:
Original Author (JLYman) informed me on what the children (Goten, Trunks, Marron, & the Pilaf Gang to a degree) will be doing at Beacon Academy. He said that they will be having private tutoring lessons from the faculty, to help make sure their general academics don't waver.
I smell meta-humor here, and a slight jab at myself as I tend to use unexplained methods to bring crossover characters into the foray.
Bulma's talk with Ozpin is more of a quick mind game between the two, and it's also Ozpin trying to gather more information about where they came from (and whether he can get humanity to abandon Remnant from the Grimm)
Anyone who has seen Dragon Ball in all its forms know about the Saiyan appetite, and I couldn't refuse to put it in any longer. Hopefully this will get a few chuckles out of you…
If anyone has seen the first season of RWBY, you should know what Weiss was doing as described in this chapter.
There were some more cool details I put in, but time has made me forget about them, so feel free about pointing out any you have spotted…
Oh, that whole deal with Goku using Instant Transmission into Team RWBY's room is a shout out to Dragon Ball SUPER, I am sure you know which episode I'm talking about, and it seemed like a Goku thing to do. This is a mostly one-off gag, but it will have lingering effects and may be repeated sparingly. The next chapter will elaborate a little about Goku's blunder…
Piccolo going off to fight Salem right off the bat is not a smart move I know, especially since she controls the Grimm, has magic from a bygone era, and is immortal. But, Piccolo does have a method to his madness, he is just testing Salem's capabilities to see how any of the Dragon Team fair against her. But, do you notice something seems…off with Trunks? Or is that just my imagination, I'm not sure, and I'm the guy writing the story…
Plus, it seems like a Piccolo thing to do if you think about it through his perspective...
Until next time, this is Gojiradon signing off…
Peace!
