Silence filled the entire throne room.

It wasn't unexpected. Everyone could feel the tension in the water as the two powerful beings stared at each other. Amphitrite, the queen of the Seas, especially looked more stiff than everyone else.

The court of Poseidon was filled with very many Nobles from prestigious Mer-families. They were creatures of the sea, and they fell under her jurisdiction, making their safety her responsibility. She was prepared to move at a moments notice if anything out of the ordinary happened. But even then ,she was still worried. Would her power be enough to stop these two behemoths when they clashed? Who was she kidding,of course it wouldn't be enough, not in a thousand years! She doubted she could even come close to lessening the damage should shit go South!

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Her heart was racing, the ichor in her veins rushing so fast she was worried her vessels would burst. She really missed the days when her husband's power didn't attract powerful deities from other pantheons, such as the one whom she was currently staring at.

He was tall, currently the tallest being there. His bluish skin almost blended in with the water, long silky hair flowing with the currents of the ever-moving sea. He had a powerful build,a broad muscular chest that rippled impressively every time he breathed. With his massive build came four muscular arms with beautiful symbols drawn on them. On one of his hands was was a small drum, on his other, a massive trident which was held tightly while his remaining two arms were folded over his chest.

Even though his physique really sent chills down everyone's spine,it was the extra feature on his face that really made the Queen shiver.

Right between his eyebrows was another eye. It lay vertically on his forehead, unblinking and was focused solely on her husband. It had a blood red sclera, (a color that was increasingly becoming her least favorite and she was sure it would give her nightmares if the current situation went south) with a pulsing yellow iris.

The aura that eye radiated...

She took another subtle but deep breath, but it didn't help. With her rapidly moving train of thoughts, her heart beat even faster and louder in her eardrums ,she was surprised no one could hear it. She clenched her hands tightly over her lap. She thanked Chaos she was underwater where her sweat merged with the sea, otherwise her Royal gown would have been drenched.

This whole situation was scaring her and the longer it continued the the closer she was to just simply fading away from fright! Terror didn't come close to defining what she was feeling right now.

Finally... Poseidon rose from his throne.

Her husband, like the rest of his court had been silent the moment the deity appeared in the middle of the hall. With widening eyes, Amphitrite watched as he reached for his trident. A silent heave was exhaled as he stood up,the waters surrounding them easily lifting him from his feet and gently guiding him down the where the visitor stood. They slowly set him on his feet, bringing him face to face with the four armed god.

The two deities stared at each other and Amphitrite couldn't decide what was scarier, this or the thought of Typhon overcoming the ocean's weight on him and raging across Atlantis on his way to Olympus.

The four armed deity was taller than her husband, a lot taller than him since Poseidon only got to his and,but the defiant stare in her husband's eye made her both proud and terrified. Even though three eyes glowered down at him with burdening intensity, Poseidon met that glare with his own,one Worthy of the king of the Seas. Even though Amphitrite was afraid at the show of defiance, she knew her husband was well within his rights to do so,and not just because he was in his domain.

But also because, Poseidon was turning into a monster.

The staring contest went on for a few minutes, during which everyone one was ready to pass out from the tension alone. Amphitrite's eyes met her son's and seeing the fear in them didn't Surprise her. She expected it. But,it was her other child who shocked her.

Kymopoleia was trembling on her throne, her pure white eyes wide open with terror. From the moment she was born, never had she seen that expression on her daughter's face. Amphitrite didn't want to admit this but, Kymopoleia was one of the most powerful deities within Atlantis, more powerful than the queen herself. The herald of Poseidon's Rage, that was what Sailors called her. She who could round up thousands of ourae with just a single thought and create hell within minutes.

The goddess of violent Sea Storms.

She was the one trembling in fear now. Amphitrite almost laughed at that revelation. The big bad Kymopoleia was now shaking like cornered deer. 'Tjis really is hopeless, isn't it?' she thought, cold covering her body as the fear started overwhelming her.

"That's a cool trident you have there." Poseidon spoke, making everyone stare at him. The deity didn't respond, only chose to narrow his eyes at him. Breaths were held when those words were said, and Amphitrite felt a sinking feeling form in her gut. She knew what would happen next, but she still prayed to Chaos that it wouldn't come to pass. "But mine's way cooler."

Three eyes narrowed when those words came out of Poseidon's mouth, and despite the hell storm she would be following in the next few minutes, the queen sighed. Her husband was prone to sarcastic comments and to not reading the situation. He had a talent for pissing off powerful deities, such as his brothers Zeus and Hades and he did not disappoint this time.

Instead of greeting him with a bow of respect, Poseidon ended up irritating someone who was literally the most powerful god in all the pantheons.

'I always thought that should Atlantis face it's end,it would be because of something grand, like Typhon breaking his bonds, not because of my husband's stupidity. Sigh. I can't say I didn't see this coming though ' The queen thought ' my only regret is not having the power to stop it.'

Pretty sure every one was having the same thoughts, seeing the forlorn looks on their faces in the few silent moments that passed.

Instead of a huff and a flicker of his finger which would go on to erase everyone in this room ,except for Poseidon, from existence the god sighed and gained a depressed look in on his face " Yes, Brahma kept telling me that your version was more up to date than mine but I wanted to see it for myself. The price of my ignorance I suppose."

Poseidon snickered at the forlorn god and spun his trident in front of him before letting it rest on his shoulder" sucks to be you, but if could, I could let my cyclops have a look a yours, give you a few modifications."

"Are they the ones who update yours?"

"Yes?"

"Then I have to respectfully decline. If they did, they would make sure yours stays better than mine, which wouldn't help me in any way."

"Hmmm, true" Poseidon answered with a thoughtful look on his face " anyway, we're straying from the point"

"Yes we are" the god answered as he took a step back and underwent divine transformation. He changed from the hulking deity to a shot blue-black haired boy with two eyes, the middle one disappearing completely with a casual teenage wear and a warm smile on his face. Taking a step back, he bowed.

"On behalf of the three pillar gods,I greet thee, Poseidon, King of the Seas."

The raven haired Olympian also took a deep bow,and with an inviting smile,he said " And I welcome thee,Shiva, god of destruction to my home. Amphitrite, come say hi."

The said queen could only blink in confusion at the turn of events before slowly standing and walking towards her grinning husband.

'Gods I hope this doesn't go awry' she thought as she stood in front of Shiva,a silent shiver wracking her body when his bottomless eyes met hers.

Artemis was worried. Very worried.

Being a warrior goddess, very few things on this planet could worry her.

But the situation that presented itself currently wasn't one she could handle with her superb combat skills. At least for now. Looking at her father's grim face, she could barely suppress a shudder at the rage she saw shimmering in this electric blue eyes of his.

"How ...How long have you known she was missing?" he asked her.

"I just confirmed it prior to coming here, father" she spoke, making sure to keep her tone level when addressing him.

"So, technically, what you're saying is, she could have been gone from the last meeting to now, is it?"

Very few would have recognized the tone of his voice as that of a worried parent, but she knew it. She had been on the receiving end of that tone quite a few times in her immortal life. Zeus was very worried... worried sick, as mortals would say. The master bolt crackled in his hand, it's hilt glowing powerfully, making her aware just how haywire his emotions were running.

"First Poseidon, then Apollo, now this?" he asked, a tremble in his voice at the end.

"My hunters and I are awaiting your word, My Lord. We will scour this entire continent until we find her, just say it, and we will be at your disposal."

" And what if you also end up missing" he asked " what then?"

"I will no-"

"You can't guarantee that!" he bellowed, making her flinch" She. was older than you, more experienced and was the most logical out of all of us! And she's gone! What if whatever took her is still out there?"

"But father-"

"I nearly lost you once, Artemis." she could hear the emotion in his voice when he spoke, the voice of a very terrified father. She internally winced as a phantom pain struck her back, reminding her of when she'd been forced to bear the weight of the sky for days on end. That was one of the darkest moments of her life. Not only was she very close to being defiled by that mad General titan, but she also had to bear witnessing the death of her three thousand year old best friend.

Percy Jackson rescued her that day.

The thought caused a whole new pot of guilt to start brewing within her.

"I can't risk that happening again." Zeus continued" Apollo is almost done. That means we can spare a few demigods to go looking for her."

"But, the war with the Triumvirate could prove taxing. Apollo would need all the help he can get. Are you sure this is wise, father?"

"Demigods are expendable." he said, causing her eyes to narrow" gods are not. Go gather a team of demigods. Alert them of the situation and give them as much resources as possible. They will either find her, or die trying."

A frown grew on her face when he finished speaking, but his electric gaze told her that arguing about this would not help in any way. Swallowing the lump in her throat, she bowed.

"Very well then. By your leave, Lord Zeus."

"Dismissed"

She rose from the floor and walked out without sparing him another glance.

On another side of the planet, a feminine figure stood in front of a mirror, her stormy grey eyes raking over her reflection.

She was completely nude, her hands travelling all over her body, from the large, soft mounds of flesh that were her breasts, down her flat and toned belly and to the lucious lips between her thick, smooth thighs. A smile spread on her flawless face as she turned and ran a hand up and down her firm but supple posterior, her smile widening at the ripple that spread when her hand came down with a hard smack on the beautiful end.

"Hmm" she hummed as she trailed her eyes down her long shapely legs.

"Proma!" a voice came from the living room as the door that had been opened a few seconds prior was closed and the speaker walked towards the room she was in" Proma? Where are you?"

'Just in time' she thought as he rounded the corner, his crystal blue eyes widening when they met hers.

"Welcome home, Perry." she said" I finally figured out how to shape shift."
