Roman had been sitting in the back through the entire Q&A. It really was Lala. She had answered every question from the fans. She was happy and outgoing. She laughed. He had never heard her laugh before but it sounded beautiful.

"Okay, if there's no further questions, let's get to my next project," she said. "You all know that 'In Silence There's Violence' was my personal baby inspired of the bullying I experienced growing up. Yeah, you loved the gore."

She grinned at the fans cheering. Roman made a mental note to watch that movie later when he came home.

"We're making a sequel," she said.

The fans erupted in loud cheers. That movie really had a giant following by the sounds of it. She waited for the audience to go quiet again before continuing.

"Robert Englund signed up for the sequel as well so you know it's gonna be another gore fest with him on board," she said.

Another round of cheers filled the room. Once they died down, a person announced that everyone could line up for an autograph and a picture. Roman went to stand in line with all the other fans. The line moved slowly but suddenly he was there in front of her. She didn't look up at first when he placed the diary down in front of her. She just grabbed it like every other item fans had put down in front of her to sign.

"Who do I make out to?" She asked.
"Roman," he answered.

His answer fell at the same time as she opened the book and stared at her own hand writing. She looked up with open mouth and just stared at him.

"Roman," she whispered.
"I..." He coughed nervously. "I kept it for you for all these years. You dropped it on your last day. I wanted to give it back to you but you never returned."

She stood up and waved an older woman over from behind her. The woman ran up to her and she whispered something in the older woman's ear. The woman nodded, walked around the table and asked Roman to follow. He had no idea what was going on. He was escorted to a room in the back and asked to wait. Someone served him a soda. He sat there for half an hour before the door opened again and Lala came in. She smiled and sat down on the opposite side of the table. She had the diary with her and placed it down on the table.

"I can't believe you kept it for all these years," she said.
"I didn't want any of those boys to take it so I quickly grabbed it," he said.
"I wish I had known," she sighed. "I saw it fall out of my bag but I had to run to save myself. I thought one of them took it and that the entire school would have heard my poems next day. I didn't wanna go back. I threw a fit that day, screaming and begging my parents not to send me back to school. They got so angry that they ended up sending me away to another school halfway across the country."

He reached over and took her hand.

"I'm sorry," he said.
"Don't be. It might have been a punishment for going against their wishes but it ended up being a good thing. I got friends and learned that it was okay to be who I am," she said.

She smiled at him. Her smile was warm and real. He smiled back and squeezed her hand before letting go. He could see she had come a long way since high school.

"For all these years I thought you had killed yourself. Rumors were going around school when you didn't come back," he said.
"To be honest, if it hadn't been for my parents sending me away, I probably would have," she said. "I found happiness on the other side. Today I'm in a really good place. I'm living my dream, Roman. Just like you are with wrestling. Don't think I don't know what you've been up to."

He couldn't help but blush. She smirked at him. That shy girl from high school was long gone. He was looking at a woman who had clawed her way through life and made it. She was where she deserved to be.

"Robert Englund, eh?" He smirked back. "Don't tell me he's playing me. That man scares me, alright? Ever since my brothers forced me to watch 'Nightmare On Elm Street', I've been scared of him."

She let out a laughter that sounded so good to him. Just the fact that she actually laughed. Something he never thought he would hear.

"He's actually a really sweet man," she said. "No, he's playing a demon who gave my main character supernatural powers the first time around to tear her bullies apart."
"Damn, girl!" He laughed. "They had it coming. I'm sure of it."
"You're actually in the sequel," she said.
"I am?" He asked.
"Sort of. Like I said, the movies are only inspired of what I went through but some of the roles are of course based on the people I knew back then. In the sequel my main character meets the quiet boy from high school and they join forces. He gets to meet the demon too and they're gonna be one hell of a team," she said.
"It's funny because I don't recall myself being that quiet," he said.
"You were," she said. "At least around me. I saw you though. I saw how you struggled with wanting to help me but you were too scared to throw yourself into the fire. I never blamed you for anything. I understood that you didn't want to become a victim too. But I always remembered your eyes. So full of sorrow."

It was her turn to reach across the table and squeeze his hand.

"Are you happy, Roman?" She asked.
"I am," he answered.
"That's good to hear. So am I. Time to let go of the past," she said.

She smiled at him again. He nodded and smiled back. She was right. It was time to let go of the past. She didn't blame him. She understood. If she could forgive him for never helping her, he could forgive himself.

"I once looked up your name," he said. "Did you know that Lala means tulip?"
"I do know," she chuckled. "My family has always been big on flower names. Probably because our surname Roselle means rose."
"I can see you blossomed into a beautiful flower," he said.
"Are you flirting with me?" She asked.
"Maybe a little bit," he winked. "But you know I'm right. You grew up and you're a strong person today. Like a sunflower towering above all the other flowers and refusing to bow down to anyone."
"A sunflower," she said. "Maybe I'll do a movie about a sunflower killing humans one day."
"You will?" He asked surprised.
"Get out of here!" She laughed. "I might love the old horror movies but I'm not going down that crazy route. I think we got enough of that back in the days with killer tomatoes and rubber tires."

She stood up and picked up the diary again.

"Thank you for bringing it back to me. It's gonna be fun reading what 14 year old me thought was edgy and cool back in the days. I bet I'm gonna laugh at half of it and cry at the other half," she said.
"I'd like to see you again," he said.
"We can keep in touch as friends. Throw me a message on twitter or something," she said.
"If I make them send you a ticket for Wrestlemania, will you show up?" He asked.
"Of course," she said. "I'll make sure to put in my calender today that I need that weekend off. But only if you promise to be there at my next movie premiere, and you will shake hands with Robert Englund."

He chuckled and pulled her in for a hug.

"Deal," he said. "It was really good seeing you. I promise tonight I'll watch 'In Silence There's Violence' and then tweet you how scared I was through the entire movie."
"You do that," she chuckled. "It was really good seeing you too. It's nice to see some things haven't changed. You're a good man, Roman. You always were."
