~Day Five~

Leo watch his feet tick side to side with the grandfather clock in Jason's office. Jason is at his desk writing. What he is writing, Leo does not know. Leo wants to do something instead of laying on the floor while matching the rhythm of the clock. "Tick-tock tick-tock," Leo sing-song.

Jason scribble.

Leo look up to the books on the shelf by the clock. "Tick-tock," he boredly says. The flame prince reach up and grab his feet. "Oh prince of mines." Jason stops his glove hand. "Tellth me that thou are bored."

Leo hear the scribbling continue. "You're the only one here bored Prince Leo." The forge prince blows a raspberry. "What do you feel like doing?"

Leo roll himself off the clean carpet floor to his feet. "Let's dance!"

"Okay."

"No! Wait!" Leo hop forward. "Fishing!"

"The lake is frozen."

"Ice-fishing!" Leo flung his arms wide open for effect. Jason shakes his head as he continues to write. "What are you writing there?"

"A letter to your dad about your stay here." Jason put the quill down next to the paper. He lean back into his chair, and Leo couldn't help finding that kinda attractive. "How is your stay here been?"

"Well," Leo flops himself on the opposite side of the desk, "it's only been five days and I have to say; I'm bored." Jason writes something down.

"What do you feel like doing?" Jason fold it up into an envelope, seal it with a wax seal, and threw it into the fireplace where purple smoke took it place.

"You know how to fire communicate," Leo says in awe. Jason shrug. "How?"

"Charles taught me. Your father wanted a better way to send letters than by eagles."

"That explain all the dead eagles that summer."

Jason stands up. "Yeah, they are not meant to survive in either of these weather. Then flying the neutral weather that obviously effect their health."

Leo nervously laugh. "But what about Iris Message?"

A little disgust form on Jason's face. "We didn't like the idea of accidentally catching any of us taking a bath." This time, Leo guffaw. "Well, you wouldn't want that either right?"

"I used to take baths with my dad, it won't be the first time we saw each other naked." Leo wipe his eyes. "If it were you and I, that's a different story." Leo see a flicker of emotions that Jason sometime shows. Then it's gone. What goes on in that blond head? What does he see?

"Anyway, it's a way that I somehow rule your kingdom."

"Huh?" Leo look surprise. "Rule my kingdom?"

Jason stands up. "Yeah. Hephaestus didn't tell you?" Leo shakes his head. "I'm not surprise. Charles didn't know until about three years ago. I beat Nyssa don't know."

"Three years? How long have you been ruling my kingdom?"

Jason's glove hands tap his desk. "Four years. Almost five. I started on my thirteen birthday." He walk around to the fireplace. "Ice fishing? I don't have any fishing poles."

Leo shrug. "How about dancing instead. I enjoy dancing with you. How come at that age?" Jason look at Leo.

Jason shrug. "Probably because my dad got tired of me rejecting the arrange marriage meet ups they appoint me." He hand a glove hand to Leo. "Dancing?" Leo takes it.

"Wow, your glove is cold." Jason pulls Leo up and spin him there. Leo yelp at the sudden movement. Jason smile. "Jace, that surprise me." Leo's dizzy.

"Dancing it is. Come my prince, we shall go to the ballroom."

Leo is pull out of the office. "Are you going to continue spinning me?"

"Maybe." Leo laugh.

~Day Six~

Leo shove the window open. The frosty air hit his warm skin. His hands stretch out in the cold. "That feels good."

"Leo?" Jason comes in the living area. Leo smile at the confuse prince. "What are you doing?"

Leo breathe out, seeing the fog of his breath. "Enjoying the cold." Jason stands next to the young prince. "You know, living in a environment that is hot year round, we sometime want the cold to come. We get chill air every now or then from the north, but it doesn't help."

Leo breathe in the chill. "I know how it feels," Jason says. Leo look up to him. "It's always snowing here, and I miss seeing - or even feeling- the sun. I don't even remember the last time the sun shine here."

Leo cluck his tongue. "Don't worry about that Jason." Without thinking, Leo jump out of the window in pure excitement.

"Leo, what are you doing?"

Leo turn to Jason, a smile spread on his amber skin. "Once you are king, you don't have to see this anymore." He kick the snow with his sock foot. Leo wave hands in the air, "You'll see nothing but that bright sun and dry land. Better than this dullness of grey."

Jason stare at Leo in surprise. Leo like that look on the prince.

"Come on snow prince, have some fun before we go back to our kingdom."

Jason blink. "Why not." He crawls out the window. "Let's live a little. Not like we can get sick from some cold weather."

A flash of an image goes through Leo's mind, "Yeah, not like the cold will bother us."

Jason pick up a handful of snow and pat it into a ball. A lighting gleam flash through those icy blue eyes. Leo's smile seem to spread. The snowball fly throw the air.
