A/N: We're finally here. Time for me to cry from the writing and rewriting and thinking too hard. I hope y'all enjoy. :3

Disclaimer: I only own the idea of the storyline

Jason finds Leo in the ballroom sitting at the glass doors. The snow falling outside. Leo said he wanted some time alone, so Jason did. That was five hours ago after breakfast.

Jason walk out the ballroom. Should he bother Leo? He knows what today is. But should he?

"Jason?" The older prince jump. "Its probably just a snowman." Jason take a peek inside. Leo is laying on the floor. He decides to bother the flame prince.

"Leo? Are you okay?" Leo sits up. "You've been gone the whole morning. What's wrong?"

Jason sits next to Leo. "Um..." Leo sigh.

"You don't have to-"

"Today is my mom's deathday. Eight years ago, I lost my mom." Jason gulp. He knows what happen eight years ago. "I'm sorry. You probably don't care."

Jason softly shakes his head. "No, I do care. Your mother was a kind queen that I ever met. How did she - you know?" He knows how Esperanza died. He wonder what the casters put in his head to keep, not only himself, everyone safe.

Leo sigh. "We were going to your kingdom for some king meeting between our fathers. The carriage my mother and I were riding hit a bump in the dirt road and loss a wheel. It flip over on its side. I did threw up. It took awhile for us to get out. It um..."

Leo goes quiet. Jason wasn't sure if it was because of the false memory to stop him or the fact the feeling of losing someone you love. Jason rub Leo's back in small circles. "Its okay. Take it slow."

"When we got out, my big brother carried me out since he was worried. My mother though, when she stood, the carriage, it rolled back over and squish her. And I mean squish. The wheels busted off and it callopse on top of her." Leo slightly laugh. "I totally forgot that's also the reason why I don't like carriages."

~Too Hot! Too Hot!~

"What is happening here?!"

"Dad?" Leo look around. I can't see any of Leo's pupil. Small drops of ice tears roll down his cheeks. Hephaestus and Esperanza run to his side. Charles let Leo get in his father's arms. Leo clutch to his dad.

"Look at us honey," Esperanza says, worry filled in her voice.

"I can't see," Leo sob. Esperanza gently stroke her son's frozen temple.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" I jump. I turn to my father. Zeus grabs my collar. Festus growl below my feet.

"Dad!" Thalia comes to my aid and grab our father's arm. She try to pry it off me.

"I'VE TOLD YOU TO ALWAYS CONCEAL YOUR POWERS! YOU KNOW YOUR POWER IS UNHEARD OF AND DANGEROUS! WHY-?!"

"ZEUS!" Hera yelled. Zeus push me away and look at my mother. Thalia hugs me. His eyes lightening. Her eyes thundering. "You do not scream at my son. He is just a kid, he does not know how to control his powers yet. Thalia is the same, she could have zap Leo and kill him. It doesn't matter if it is unheard of, her is the same as yours. Understood?"

Leo sob in his father's chest. "It is okay King Zeus," Esperanza says. "Leo does not know how to control his and it is in the royal bloodline. He always burn down the garden and a house or two."

"Though," start Hephaestus, "we can't put this out like a fire. I can't even tell the damage."

"And it wasn't Jason's fault," Thalia defend. "I let him use my weapons." Zeus mouth out 'weapons' in confusion.

"We should get Artemis and Apollo," I say, finally realizing my voice is cracking. "Th-they're Casters. They probably know what's wrong with Leo."

"Let give it a try," Hera agree. "I'll get my first twins." She walk off back to the palace.

"Is Leo going to be okay?" Nyssa ask. She sounds worry as her step-mother. I don't feel worry, I feel scare.

"He is going to be fine," Esperanza comfort. Charles repeat her words to himself. Zeus cross his arms and tap his biceps. Bits of lightning sparks off his fingertips.

A sign that my father is mad.

Hera comes back with not only my older siblings, but also with their Caster mentor. She takes a glance to me. "What have you done young prince?" She walk to Hephaestus and squat next to them. "May I have a look at your son, majesty?"

"Yes Athena," he agree. He face Leo to her. Her gray eyes storm from seeing the ice mask. A hand slide into Leo's dark curls and stay. I see snow falling.

Athena look at me, "Please stay back Prince Jason. You can cause more damage without even knowing." Thalia and I take five steps back. I don't want to hurt Leo even more. "His seeing is frozen in place. Give him a kiss of heat, that would melt the ice. That will heal him." She let go of Leo.

Hephaestus turn Leo to him and kiss his son's forehead. We watch the ice melt away, but not the way it's suppose to melt. The ice melted into Leo's face. One of his curls have turn white. Hephaestus run his hand over Leo's curls.

"Dad?" Leo blink up. I can see his fire blown eyes.

"Hey son. How do you feel?" Leo lean back and pass out. Esperanza pulls him to her arms. Hephaestus look to Athena. "Is my son going to be okay?"

She tilt her head at Leo. "I don't know. I wasn't expecting the frost to seep into his face. That white curl is bothering me." Athena went in to touch Leo.

Then Leo burst on fire.

Fire erupts around Leo and Esperanaza. His mother scream. His dad yell. Thalia and I scream as the fire spread to us. It swallows us along with Leo, Esperanza, Hephaestus, and Athena. I watch Esperanza scream. I hear my family yell. I hear Charles and Nyssa yelling.

I hear other yelling.

Then I remember Thalia. I look at her. Thalia look back at me. She's alive and not screaming from being on fire. We don't know how, but I bet it's her holding onto me that is keeping her safe. I have always been immune to fire.

Thalia isn't. I'm protecting my big sister without knowing.

"WHAT IS GOING ON?" Hephaestus look at Athena. She's not burning. Hephaestus reach to his family. "YOU SAID IT WOULD HEAL HIM!" Athena says something but I couldn't hear. The roar of the fire blocks my hearing.

She stands up in a struggle. With a wave of her hands, Athena push the fire towards Leo. It became one big bubble of fire around Leo. It floats off the ground. I can only see his silhouette.

Esperanza though, she have stop screaming and is now burnt black. It's like looking at a human form coal. She falls back and crumble over the dead ground. Nothing but ash. Hephaestus slowly stands up, nobody helping him, and walk to his son and wife. He place a hand over the bubble to walk around to see his wife.

Nobody says anything.

"Is there a way to fix my son?" Hephaestus look at Athena.

Athena straighten. She looks at my father. "Is Prince Jason born or curse with this power?"

My father look at me. My mother walks to us and pry us apart. "He was born with them." Athena nods and snap her fingers. Three more Casters pop out of nowhere.

"My friends, this poor prince was struck by powerful born ice magic and have gone a flame. One have suffer, please don't step on her."

"Why did he catch on fire when he was hit by ice?" One of them ask.

"He was born with the fire. A power pass down through bloodline." Then they see Hephaestus and it click in their heads. They look more around of their surrounding and bow. Now they notice they are with royalties.

"How about we," one of the Casters reach into the fire bubble, "change that?" A sting of white smoke is pull out. The Caster throws it above their heads. Memories of Leo and me floating.

"Changing his memories would cool him down," Athena says. She break them apart. Each Caster having their own memories. We all watch as one replace me with Thalia in a lunch memory.

"What are doing?!" I yell. I run up to them. I hit an invisible wall an fall on my butt. "DON'T DO THAT!"

"Brother, don't," Artemis sternly command. "Don't you want Leo to be better?"

I say nothing. I watch as the Casters manipulate Leo's memories one by one. I watch as one with Leo and I ice skating in the summer turn into him and Thalia dancing in the ballroom. One where I was kissing him into Thalia instead. Where he accidently burn a house to burning a fire place.

I'm crying. Snow is falling faster. The fire disappear. Leo is floated to his father's arms. The false memories put back inside his head.

"Be glad it was his head, not his heart," Athena says. "He'll be a lot better."

I sob out. A snowstorm is form.
