Author's Note: Man, this sure took a while, but it's here! And it's a big one!
And happy 25 chapters! Only took almost 2 years...
The Ryde pulled to the curb, and after a hasty payment, Yang fumbled for the door, stepping out to offer a hand to her drop-dead gorgeous date and girlfriend. "Milady?" She pulled her most winning smile, to which the brunette snorted, accepting the offer, and stepping out onto the sidewalk.
"Says the chick in a dress."
"Hey! Tomboys can be ladies too!" Yang defended, closing the door as they began their walk, hand in hand. "Plus, you're wearin' a dress too, so you can't talk."
Coco just shrugged. "I mean I wanted to wear a suit, but Big Red said it wouldn't work with the cast, which uh, yeah, probably." She explained, wiggling her injured arm for emphasis. In truth, Coco would have looked incredible in a suit, but what she was currently in worked just as well. She was wearing a beautiful caramel one-shoulder midi dress, form-fitting, which was... damn, and a pair of shiny black high heels - similar to the blonde's own. Her hair was much shorter, and neater too, aside from the longer, wavy locks on the right side of her face. Yang had long given up trying to tame the blonde mane she called hair, but Coco's looked almost sculpted, perfect in every way, almost as perfect as her makeup: A dark ocher eye shadow and rich crimson lipstick. Of course she was still incredibly attractive every other day, but right now... she looked like a gods damn model.
Yang was such a lucky woman.
Taking a brief walk down the sidewalk, the pair soon arrived at their destination: an upscale Mistrali restaurant with a lit sign above its doors.
CITRA
It was certainly a step up from the burger joints and fast-food restaurants that the two normally visited, though for good reason. This was their very first romantic date after all, so Yang felt like she had to put in a little more effort for it than their other hangouts. She even made a proper reservation and everything. Though that did not mean Yang pulled out all the stops for this particular evening, seeing as it was only their first date date, lest she overwhelm Coco, or worse, scare her off. Plus, she had to make sure each of these occasions could be special in some way.
Upon reaching the restaurant's front doors, Yang briefly let go of her girlfriend's hand to reach out and grab one of the handles, pulling it open and gesturing for her girlfriend to enter before her. "Ladies first."
Coco just quirked a brow, a smirk spreading across her face as she glanced down at the blonde's chest. "Sure hope that's not defined by cup size."
Yang could not help but laugh. "If that were true, I'd be the most lady-like one out of us all, and you can see how accurate that is."
Upon hearing that, Coco's gaze immediately wandered down to land on her girlfriend's sizable chest, her smirk only growing, as if undressing the blonde with those gorgeous brown eyes. "Oh, I see it alright."
While it was certainly... exciting to be leered at in such a way, in public no less, Yang had to keep her cool, lest she become... distracted over dinner. So she just smirked right back, puffing out her chest a bit. "Enjoying the view?"
Looking back up at her date's lilac eyes, Coco winked. "Always." She grinned, walked through the front door of the restaurant, followed by Yang, who decided to take her own little peek downward. Though since she was behind her girlfriend, as the pair made their way through the entrance area and into the main restaurant, her gaze was briefly stuck on the brunette's shapely rear, its curves hugged by that beautiful, tight caramel dress. And this view ain't too bad either.
As they reached the reception podium, the pair was met by a tall man, clad in a fancy black suit. Must be the greeter. Upon seeing them, he smiled, bowing his head slightly. "Good evening, Mesdames, do you have a reservation for this evening?"
Taking a step forward, Yang nodded, a bit awkwardly due to the sudden formality. "Uh, yeah, it's under Xiao Long, for seven PM." Which we're only a few minutes late for.
Looking down at the tablet scroll that currently sat on the reception podium, the greeter tapped it a few times with his fingers before his gaze returned to the women in front of him. "Excellent. Right this way." He informed, grabbing a couple of menus from gesturing for the pair to follow him.
As Yang and Coco followed the greeter through the restaurant, hand in hand, the former took the chance to admire the area around them. The atmosphere was dark, yet somehow cheerful, peaceful without being quiet, and gorgeous to behold. A mix of Eastern and Western Mistrali influences, marble-tiled floors and rendered walls, decorated with tapestries and lanterns that painted the area with a mix of amber and red...
Fuck, this place is nice
Upon being seated at an elevated corner booth - nice and cozy, and fit for keeping whatever inappropriate conversations they will inevitably get up to private - they were handed their menus and a wine list, and told someone will be with them shortly. Having no real experience with good wine, Yang simply asked their waiter for whatever he recommended, which ended up being a fancy red wine by the name of Stralis. A bit expensive for her tastes - as well as her wallet - but she waved that concern away. Tonight was a special occasion after all, and she had not exactly gotten the chance to properly treat her girlfriend yet.
Once the waiter was gone, Coco looked to the blonde with a smirk. "All this spoilin'... makes a girl think you've got some expectations."
Yang just met her girlfriend's smirk with one of her own, leaning forward to place her elbows onto the table, and her chin onto her folded hands. "So what if I do?"
Coco raised a hand to tap her chin in mock thought. "Hmm..." She hummed, looking around for emphasis. "Keep going."
Too easy. "Is that a phrase I'll be hearin' later on?" Yang slyly wondered.
"As I said... keep going." Coco requested.
I'll take that as a solid maybe. "Yes ma'am."
Once the waiter had returned with the bottle of wine, and poured out a glass of the rich crimson liquid for each of them, they both quickly realized that neither of them had even opened up their menus yet. It seemed that they needed a bit longer to decide what they wanted to order, and thankfully the waiter appeared to realize that as well, so he told them that he would come back, and to enjoy their date before he left.
Enjoy our date...
It was at that moment, both Yang and Coco remembered that they were in fact on a date, and not just hanging out at a fast-food joint like usual. Though the latter was the first to speak up about it.
"Oh yeah, guess we should actually start actin' like we're on a date huh? Y'know, be all romantic and shit." Coco suggested.
"Well what'd you have in mind?" Yang inquired, wondering how exactly the two could act like they were on a date, especially given the fact that it had been years since she had last went out on a proper date, so her date etiquette knowledge was a tad lacking. All she really knew from recent memory was casual sex from Neo, and casual hangouts from the brunette across from her. Rather than verbally responding, Coco just raised her left, uninjured arm to place onto the table, stretched across the surface, hand open, as if waiting for her girlfriend to give her something... Oh. Unable to stop herself from smiling, Yang lifted her own arm onto the table, reaching out to slide her hand into Coco's, gently grasping it. Though upon taking a closer look, she noticed that her girlfriend's nails were painted a rich chocolate brown. They were... beautiful. "Nice work on the nails, babe."
Turning their connected hands over to admire her own, Coco softly chuckled. "Yeah, Big Red helps me do 'em now, 'cause I've never been too good at it." She admitted. "And I'm not lettin' you go on your special date without pretty nails! Or so she said."
Yang just let out a chuckle of her own. "One of the few girly skills that Rubes actually had growin' up." She informed, unconsciously rubbing the back of the brunette's hand with her thumb. "But she did a great job. They look amazing."
Coco merely smiled, a slight blush actually beginning to tint her cheeks. "Aw, thanks, babe. And here I was gonna comment on how good that dress makes your tits look."
Yang only snorted at the unexpected compliment, suddenly aware of the slight pressure that her current lacy purple bra and form-fitting dress were putting on her stupid E-cup breasts. "Pfft, everything makes my tits look good. I've gotta dress down to not make 'em look good."
Briefly glancing down at her girlfriend's sizable chest, Coco smirked. "Pretty sure that'd make 'em look even better."
Well, not unless you could shrink down the dinner plates I have to call nipples. "Alright, keep it in your pants, Adel. Well, at least until we're not in public anymore, where we won't need pants." She teased with a wink, briefly letting go of the brunette's hand to take hold of her wine glass and raise it. "To a wonderful evening with my absolute knockout of a girlfriend."
Grabbing and raising her own glass, Coco smiled. "You know I'll drink to that, babe." And so their glasses met with a quiet clink before the two took their respective sips. "Hmm, this wine has sort of an oaky afterbirth."
Upon processing what her girlfriend just said, Yang only managed to furrow her brow, her mouth hanging open for a moment as she struggled to form a response. "What was that?"
Coco just chuckled at the blonde's visible confusion. "Nothin', babe. Just a reference." She explained, putting her glass down to crack open her menu. "Man, we should've asked that waiter for some recommendations, 'cause I've got no idea what I want."
Opening her own menu, Yang skimmed through the various options. Salads, soups, curry, rice dishes, seafood... There were so many options... Ruby had went on and on about how good their breadsticks were, but that was not really a meal. "Same here... Ever been to a place like this before?"
"Yeah, but not uh, not for a while..." Coco answered. There was clearly something more there, but the blonde did not want to pry. Not tonight. "You?"
Yang shrugged. "A few times, but usually this isn't my style."
Coco let out a soft chuckle. "Me neither." She admitted as the pair continued to look through their menus. "See anything you like?"
Yang hummed, searching through the various dishes available. "Well, I'd normally go for something like this Spicy Curry and Rice, but I dunno, I feel like tryin' something new tonight."
Raising her uninjured arm, Coco tapped her chin a couple times. "Then how 'bout we do things a little different?"
Yang raised a brow. "How so?"
Coco merely grinned. "I order what you like, and you order what I like. Y'know, shake things up." She suggested. "Oh, and spring rolls for the appetizer, 'cause a girl's gotta get her spring rolls."
Switch meal orders, huh? Sounds like fun. "Alright, you're on, Adel." Yang agreed. "And I'm always a slut for spring rolls."
"Well good, 'cause your ass is orderin' us a whole plate of 'em." Coco informed, her grin remaining strong. "Of course, that's if you wanna keep spoilin' me."
Yang only smirked right back. "You know I do, babe." And not just for the... possible implications. She added to herself, actually relishing the idea of being able to spoil the wonderful woman that she got to call a girlfriend. After all, she had never really been able to do that before now.
Once their waiter had eventually returned - given that they might have briefly forgotten to close their menus, signalling that they were ready - the pair placed their orders. For their shared appetizer: a set of eight spring rolls with a selection of various dipping sauces. Then for each of their entrees, since the two had decided to switch meals, a beef stir fry with lo mein noodles for Yang, and spicy curry with rice for Coco. Thankfully the latter was not against spicy food, so it all worked out. It was almost like a new experience, ordering meals that they had never eaten before, enjoying the novelty. It really helped make this first date feel special.
After the waiter left with their orders, it was back to random conversation. Though, rather than talking about the possibility of bedroom activities at the end of the night, or complimenting how good they each looked - that was obvious already - Coco decided on a new, more interesting topic.
"Hey, you wanna hear a funny story from last week?" Coco wondered, taking a sip from her wine.
Yang furrowed her brow a bit, though still with a smile. "That depends, you gonna try to retell the one about how you wore your panties backwards for an entire day?"
Coco let out a chuckle at the question. "No no, I'm not a story-recycler, unlike you." She informed, adding a wink for emphasis, to which her girlfriend simply pouted. "This is from when that uh, Blake chick was stayin' at the Reds' place." Just the mere mention of that name caused Yang to flinch, but thankfully she was able to remain calm. She was not about to ruin their date just because her ex-best friend was spoken of. "So the four of us are havin' breakfast one morning, and it was pretty clear that Ruby and Pyr had sex the previous night, and I was just internally losin' it at that woman's discomfort. I could see this big line of hickies down Ruby's neck, and her and Pyr are just trying to act normal, with Pyr lookin' like a goddess-"
"As she always does." Yang interrupted with a smirk.
Coco just chuckled again. "Duh. So Blake's just trying to quietly eat her porridge, minding her own business and stuff, but I keep seein' her glance over from out of the corner of my eye, and finally Ruby's like you okay Blakey?" Then she snickered. "Watching that woman try to stammer her way through a response was fuckin' hilarious."
Though the mention of her ex-best friend did somewhat ruin Yang's enjoyment of the story, she still managed to giggle a bit. "Yeah, Rubes and Pyr tend to be a little too open about their time in the bedroom, if you know what I'm sayin'. Kinda reminds me of when Weiss was introduced to Pyr last year." Then her smile grew, as the memories from that occasion began to flood into her mind. "So she's hangin' around in the bar, grumbling about how hard it's been tryin' to find a job, when Ruby walks through the front door. Weiss gets up to go say hi, but the moment she sees Pyr walkin' in behind her, she freezes dead in her tracks. Didn't exactly help that Rubes had hickies on her neck, but I swear, even to this day, I've never seen Weiss so dumbstruck in front of a gorgeous woman." Then she laughed. "Rubes is kinda oblivious to the effects that Pyr's marks have on other people, and Pyr's intimidating as hell sometimes, so it was hilarious seeing Weiss get all flustered over her."
Placing her slowly emptying glass onto the table, Coco grinned. "And on that day, another helpless woman was added to the ever-growing harem of Little Red."
Yang just chuckled at the comment, almost choking on her own wine. "Only Pyrrha Nikos could ever actually manage to do that. Like, I swear, if she and Rubes had an open relationship instead of y'know, bein' married and stuff, we'd all just be part of that woman's harem."
"And she would rule over us like a damn queen." Coco added with a smirk. "Though that actually reminds me of another fun story, from last year."
A moment passed, and Yang thought that her girlfriend was going to continue. "Well, lay it on me, girl."
"Of course, just pausing for effect." Coco informed. "So, this was well over a year ago, before uh, y'know, before everything... everything happened..." Then she shook her head, as if shaking away the negative thoughts. "Anyways, this is the story of how Velv and I almost had a foursome with the Reds." Yang was extremely lucky that she was not drinking at that moment, because if she had been, she would have spit it out all over the table, and likely her girlfriend. "We were all on a double date uh... somewhere, I don't really remember, but the important part is Ruby and Velv got pretty drunk. Thankfully Pyr and I are able to handle our alcohol, so we only got kinda buzzed, but that didn't stop our partners from trying to convince us to end the night in a foursome, threatening that they'd make out if we didn't. Of course neither of us budged, so they just ended up makin' out anyway, then passing out soon after. They didn't remember anything the next morning."
Yang could not help but laugh at the admittedly ridiculous story, unable to believe that Ruby of all people was almost in a foursome, and with her fiancé no less. It was almost like her sister had some secret life that she was not aware of. "Yeah, people get up to some pretty weird stuff when they're drunk." Then she giggled, as a sudden thought popped into her head. "Just like Weiss did during her first birthday party at the bar last year."
Taking a fairly large sip of her wine, Coco raised a brow. "What, she try to suggest for the Reds to bang her and Vernal?"
Yang just snorted. "Not exactly, but that would've been pretty funny too. So, it was the first time Weiss had actually gotten drunk in front of us all, which meant she was a lot more open, leading her to keep getting flustered at everything. Then she kinda tripped into my dad tryin' to make it to the can. He helped her keep steady with his arm, and Weiss started gushing over his big strong muscles, which uh, was a little weird, but we all got a good laugh out of it. Even Vernal waited a minute before stepping it." Then Yang paused, taking a second to take a sip of her own wine. "A few days later, my dad got a really neatly written apology letter in the mail, and it took Weiss weeks until she was able to look him in the eye again."
Coco let out a laugh as her girlfriend finished speaking, seemingly unable to hold it in any longer. "Man, what I would've paid to see that shit. You sure no one got video?"
"Girl, I wish someone recorded that night." Yang answered, leaving both women laughing a little too loudly than they should have been at such a fancy restaurant. Though, eventually they settled down... for the most part at least.
Soon enough, the waiter returned with their orders, and boy did they look and smell good. It was only a matter of seconds after they were left alone that the pair began tearing into their respective meals. Of course, that did not stop them from trying to act like they were on a date some more, which essentially translated to each of them feeding the other bites of their food. It was... actually rather romantic for the first few bites, until they began taking those bites a little more... inappropriately. Licking lips beforehand, batting eyelids, and of course, almost sucking on the fork as they took them.
Gods, we are so immature.
Surprisingly, things actually settled down a bit over dinner, given that the pair was focused on eating, at least for the most part. Glass after glass, the wine flowed as easily as their words. Topics ranged from how their days went, to what else they want to do to Dickland, to even more stories about Weiss or Ruby and Pyrrha, but unfortunately for the other restaurant patrons, the two had a bit of a tough time keeping their voices down. So there were several times where the listener of whatever story was being told had to remind the teller to be a tad quieter. Though even so, that never detracted from their evening.
And it only got better when they received their dessert order: A two-person shared cake sundae. Fittingly named The Indulgent Spring, it featured a rich red-velvet layer cake with a ganache filling, completely surrounded by chocolate-coated vanilla ice cream.
Both women's mouths were watering before the dish was even placed onto the table.
It had been a long time since Yang had last made out with someone in the back of a Ryde.
Feeling a little tipsy from all the wine they drank during dinner... Okay, perhaps a lot tipsy, the two were already giggling at the most ridiculous things by the time they received their bill - which they had a bit of trouble deciding who would pay. Yang wanted to front the bill since the fancy restaurant was her idea, and it would not have been fair to force her girlfriend to pay, but Coco wanted to because she had the money, and wanted to give back for all the blonde had done so far. Eventually, they ended up splitting it.
The Ryde fare however, would have to wait, as they were far too concerned with... well, one another.
It began rather slow, soft, which was to be expected for their first kiss, though that was certainly not the case for very long. Once the two had gotten a feel for each other, so to speak, it became a bit deeper, more heated, more passionate. Yang kept one hand on her girlfriend's waist, and the other on her cheek, gently caressing the soft skin while Coco's uninjured hand found its way into the blonde's hair, gently making its way through the wavy locks.
It was like heaven... if heaven tasted like wine, chocolate and ice cream.
But something was off.
As Yang found herself briefly panting against Coco's shoulder, her girlfriend ceased the gentle kissing of her neck, planting one final one upon the soft skin before leaning back a bit. "You 'kay?"
Looking up to meet those gorgeous brown eyes, Yang nodded with a smile. Must be just our positions. "Yeah, yeah, jus' kiss me."
And so they did.
Hearts raced, tongues danced, lips roaming across bare skin, a certain brunette-owned hand slyly wandered down to grasp Yang's rear... The two could barely keep their hands, lips and tongues off of each other until they arrived at the front entrance to the blonde's apartment building.
A few minutes later, Yang was fumbling with her key, attempting to open her apartment door as Coco hung off of her shoulder like a drunk. Eventually, she was able to get it open, allowing the pair to almost stumble into the main room. Though upon lightly closing the door, they turned to find a familiar face, quietly passed out on the couch, wrapped up in a comfy blanket, while some cartoon that Yang surprisingly did not recognize idly played on the TV. Aw, she's so adorable...
Then the blonde felt Coco pull herself closer, lips gently brushing against her ear as she leaned in. "Just so you know, I don't have a quiet setting." She downright purred, directly into her girlfriend's ear, causing her to shudder.
Yang let out a quiet chuckle, turning her head to position her own lips right next to the brunette's ear. "Looks like we've got that in common, too."
Coco merely smirked at the response. "Then what are we waitin' for?"
Wrapping an arm around Coco's waist and puling her close, Yang led her through the apartment and into her bedroom, quietly closing the door behind them. Though as she turned to pull the brunette into another embrace, she felt a hand pressing against her chest, pushing her to sit down onto the messy bed. Yang then found herself looking up at her smirking girlfriend, who slyly walked backwards toward the door, which she locked without even turning around, the click causing the blonde to audibly gulp. Coco's smirk only grew at that, using her uninjured arm to reach behind her back, coyly and gradually unzipping her dress, revealing... gods damn...
As the caramel fabric slid down her slender body, falling to the floor, Coco was left in nothing but a set of lacy black lingerie. A stark contrast to her delicate, pale skin. A lace pattern decorated the dark undergarments, but whatever it was, did not even register to the blonde. She only saw the beautiful woman wearing them, and such a delicious sight it was. There were so many words that she could use to describe her girlfriend right now. Sexy, enchanting, ravishing... but none seemed quite enough. Even with the cast on her right arm, that woman was still absolutely drop-dead gorgeous, arching her back in a languid stretch, her modest bust pushing forward, trying in vain to escape it's lacy prison. "Fuck me..." Yang finally, barely managed as the brunette slowly approached her.
"Pretty sure that's the plan here." Coco smirked, standing tall above her girlfriend, looking up and down her body with hungry brown eyes. "Now..." She continued, stepping forward to climb onto the bed to straddle the blonde, raising a finger to run down the front of her lilac dress. "Let's get you outta this pesky thing." Coco purred, leaning forward to meet Yang in heated kiss as she reached down to begin unzipping the garment. After some pulling and some awkward shuffling - which caused some relatively quiet laughter between the two - the dress finally came off. It was then swiftly kicked to the floor from around her ankles, unveiling the brand-new lacy purple lingerie underneath - a set that Coco actually bought for her not long ago. Gods, it felt so good to be able to finally show it off for her girlfriend, who definitely seemed to be enjoying the view, given how quickly her hand shot up to begin fondling her chest, causing her to let out a muffled moan as the pair resumed their passionate embrace, with the brunette beginning to grind against her pelvis, the heat of her core driving Yang absolutely crazy.
Then she felt it again. Some feeling in the depths of her mind, telling her that something was off, but she shook it away, not wanting to risk ruining this wonderful night. Though as if on cue, Coco pulled away with a slightly uncertain expression, ceasing her excited fondling and grinding, leaving them both briefly panting as they held one another. Yang opened her mouth to ask what was wrong, but before she could, the brunette leaned in once more, this time to nearly press her lips against her ear, whispering but two words that caused Yang to fully shudder.
"Spank me."
That was something Yang could most certainly do, even though it was usually her on the receiving end.
Gently sliding her hands down her girlfriend's bare back, Yang settled them on her lingerie-clad rear, giving it a firm squeeze before raising a hand to bring it back down with a relatively light slap. The reaction she received in response was... unexpected to say the least. Coco just chuckled, leaning back a bit to face Yang.
"Y'know you can do that a little harder, right?" She commented, leaning in again to whisper in her girlfriend's ear. "'Cause I like it rough."
Yang merely grinned at the request. "Careful what you wish for, babe." She warned, raising her hand once more, and bringing it down much harder onto the pale skin of the brunette's soft behind with a harsher smack!
Coco's back immediately arched at the impact, her body pressing against Yang's. "Oh fuck..." She moaned, almost directly into the blonde's ear, leading to another shudder from the other woman.
The pair remained in that position for a brief time - once again panting from the excitement - with Yang practically holding Coco by the rear, and the brunette leaning against her shoulder, her uninjured arm wrapped around her shoulders. It was... an odd sensation, to just be in that position, while barely a minute ago the two were locked in a heated kiss, grinding against one another, but even so, there was a part of Yang that... wanted to stay like this. No, she could not do that to her girlfriend. It must be like this because they were partially drunk. So she shook the thoughts away, and just in time it seemed, as Coco let out a breath, straightening back up, and reaching behind herself to single-handedly unclasp her bra with a smirk, the familiar click accentuated by the silence. Slowly removing the lacy black piece of underwear, she tossed it aside, exposing her modest breasts. Yang could not help but stare, almost mesmerized by the alluring sight, though before she could manage to touch them, Coco beat her to it, slipping her own hand under the lacy fabric of the blonde's bra, taking hold of one sizable breast, and giving it a firm squeeze, eliciting a strangled squeak.
Yang just grinned at the action. 'Bout time we're gettin' there. She thought to herself, reaching behind her back to unclasp her bra with one hand, holding the garment in place for just a moment longer before fully removing it and tossing it onto the floor. Though rather than immediately returning to what she was doing, Coco seemed to only be able to stare at the large mounds in complete awe, her eyes wide with surprise.
Then she licked her lips.
Raising an arm and placing it upon the middle of Yang's chest, Coco gently pushed until she was forced to lie on her back, upper body now on full display for her to leer at. She then slowly leaned down to hover over the blonde's mouth, remaining there for a moment, with their lips mere inches apart, before meeting her in a heated, yet brief kiss, which was spiced up further by another smack on the rear. Coco's lips then made their way from Yang's own, trailing kissing down her neck, lower and lower as she steadily slid down her girlfriend's body, until finally reaching her ample breasts. She gave one a kiss, then the other - both leading to soft giggles from the other woman, who received a sly smirk - before moving on to give the first a long, slow lick, drawing out a louder moan as Coco began to circle her admittedly sensitive nipple with her tongue in an erotic kiss. "Oh gods..."
But something felt off. Yang was not entirely sure what it was, but it was tugging at the back of her mind, like something was... wrong. Though she did not want to risk the moment being ruined, so the blonde shook the thought away, doing her best to lose herself in the pleasure of having her breasts be lavished by Coco's tongue, lips, and occasionally the gentle bite of her teeth. Each sensation brought out soft moans, causing her to reach up to run a hand though her girlfriend's wavy brown locks, pulling her head even closer.
Through Yang's series of moans at the gentle ministrations of Coco's warm tongue, she could not help but think about how different it felt compared... to Neo. That woman was always rough, with a lot of nipple-biting and hard squeezing. She was hungry and aggressive. Of course Neo never hurt Yang, at least not in any way she did not like, but she always felt like an object in her small hands. Compare that to the woman who was currently tending to her breasts... Fuck... Coco was all tongue, and gentle yet effective fondling. She made Yang feel like she was being lavished - more than simply literally - like she was something to be appreciated, and... even loved.
Then, with one last pull on one of her girlfriend's nipples with her teeth, coaxing a shudder, Coco leaned up, sitting back upon her pelvis, leaving them both panting and flushed once more. "I think it's your turn, babe." She smirked as the blonde lowered her hands to rest comfortably on her bare hips.
Yang merely grinned in response, dismissing the feeling in the back of her mind again. Gladly. Sliding her hands upward to wrap around the brunette's back, she pulled her down into a heated kiss - which was eagerly reciprocated - before using her strength to flip them over so that she was on top, with Coco's legs quickly wrapping around her midsection, clinging tightly. Then, with a loud smack, Yang felt a familiar sting upon her rear, causing her to jolt forward a bit, letting out a sharp, muffled moan against Coco's mouth. Gods, she had almost forgotten how much she missed that. Briefly breaking the kiss, Yang hovered above her smirking girlfriend for a moment. "You're not the only one who likes it rough." She purred, leaning back down to plant another kiss upon her lips, which was soon followed by another smack upon her rear, eliciting yet another moan.
Yang then moved her lips from the brunette's own, trailing kisses across her cheek, pausing to suckle on her earlobe a bit, drawing out a small moan, before moving again to pepper kisses down her neck, continuing lower until reaching her left nipple. First, she gave it a kiss, then another, and another. Then she latched on, lavishing it with her tongue, slowly dragging it across the seemingly sensitive nub, coaxing out more than a few gasps and moans from her girlfriend as she suckled and nibbled on it, before moving to its twin, treating it with the same love. She felt an extra surge of excitement when she felt Coco's legs tighten around her back, and a hand run through her wild blonde locks.
Once Yang was finished, she gave the brunette's right nipple one final kiss, and began to move lower once again, trailing kisses down her pale stomach as Coco loosened her legs, giggling at each one, until finally reaching her lacy black underwear. Even with them still on, she could feel the warmth radiating from her girlfriend's core. Running her hands up her smooth, spread legs, she took hold of the hem of her panties, though before pulling them down, an idea popped into her head. Flashing a grin up at Coco, Yang let them go, moving forward a tad to - while still staring into those gorgeous brown eyes - bite the hem with her teeth, slowly dragging them downward, only using her hands to lift her legs as she slipped them passed her feet, dangling the wet garment from her mouth in front of her before tossing them aside.
Staring down at her girlfriend's slick and swollen lower lips - fully shaven, nice - Yang wrapped her arms around her thighs, taking firm hold of them, ready to bury her tongue deep into her core, to make her scream with pleasure. And that eagerness was only further enhanced when she felt Coco's legs wrap around her neck, pulling her in. Though just as she began to lean in, opening her mouth to bring out her tongue, she found herself... hesitating, seemingly unable to actually make contact. It was not as if she did not want to, no, far from it, rather... that feeling of uncertainty was back. Yang had experienced it a couple times earlier, but this time... this time was different. Before, it was merely in the back of her mind, able to be shook away without a second thought and continue, but now... it was actively preventing her from eating out her girlfriend. Was... there something wrong with her?
"Hey, you okay down there?" Suddenly came Coco's quiet voice, pulling the blonde from her thoughts. "You're lookin' a little lost. Need some pointers?" Then she smirked. "Or maybe... a demonstration?"
Even with her current mental predicament, Yang could not help but chuckle a bit, though her arms still loosened from around the brunette's thighs, her smile fading, gaze falling to her stomach. "I-I... can't do it." She admitted, ashamed that she was unable to perform this simple task for her girlfriend, one that she had done dozens of times before for other women. So... why not now?
Loosening the leg-lock around the blonde's neck, instead resting them on either side of her, Coco used her elbows to sit up a bit. "Got cold feet? 'Cause I can go first if you want, or we take things a little slower, y'know, work our way up to that." Then she attempted to offer a smirk. "I mean, my tits would love another visit from that warm tongue of yours."
Yang smiled back for a moment, before it faded. She shook her head. "No, it's nothing like that... I've just... got this feeling that this is all... wrong somehow..."
Coco was silent for a moment. "So it wasn't just me, huh?"
Yang blinked, not at all expecting an answer like that. "What?"
Coco merely let out a sigh, adjusting herself until she was fully sitting up, her legs still spread on each side the her girlfriend. "I uh, I've also had a feeling in the back of my head since we first kissed in the Ryde... I pushed it away, tried to lose myself in the moment, as I should've, but it kept comin' back..."
Pushing herself up into a kneeling position, Yang looked down at the brunette's nether region once more. Every ounce of her wanted to devour it, to make her girlfriend shake with pleasure, and make her finish so hard that she could not feel her legs afterward, but... something held her back...
Then it finally clicked.
"But don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm not attracted to you!" Coco attempted to assure, crossing her legs in order to sit properly. "I mean, fuck, you're easily one of the sexiest women I've ever met - and that's not even countin' those tits - but add that to how we get along so well, y'know, make each other laugh and all that shit, we really should be a match made in heaven, but..."
"But... it feels like you're trying to fuck your best friend." Yang hesitantly finished for her.
After a moment, Coco nodded, her gaze falling. "Yeah..."
A brief silence followed, as Yang felt her lip quiver slightly at the realization of what this meant for the two of them. "I'm so sorry, Coco... I... I really wanted this to work..."
Coco just shook her head, patting the bed next to her, which the blonde took as a signal to crawl over. "I'm sorry too, Yang." She offered. "But I mean, we never really did anything romantic before this date anyway, and part of the reason we even did it was 'cause we thought we should, since we're dating."
Unfortunately, that was not inaccurate, considering the most 'romantic' thing the pair had done before today was cuddle, and two people did not even have to be dating to do that. "Well, maybe... we're not right for girlfriends... but... how about friends? I mean, I really like spending time with you, and... it's been a long time since I had any kinda friendship like yours..."
Coco brought her uninjured hand up to her chin for a moment. "Hm, that depends. Do I still get cuddlin' privileges?"
Yang merely smiled at the question. "I'd be offended if you didn't want 'em."
"How about a little tit-touchin'?" Coco continued, a smirk spreading across her face.
Yang furrowed her brow, but just shrugged. "I mean, they're kinda lackin' in attention these days anyway, so sure." Plus, I do kinda like the whole intimacy thing.
Coco only grinned. "Then you've just made yourself a new best friend."
Yang laughed, but began choking up at the same time, resulting in the brunette wrapping an arm around her shoulders and pulling her close. So she just rested her head against her neck. "I'm sorry..."
"Shh, it's not your fault." Coco soothed, gently rubbing the blonde's head.
"I really wanted us to work..."
Coco only tightened the embrace. "I know, hon, I know."
And so they remained there for a time - with Yang still mostly naked and Coco completely naked - simply enjoying the warmth that the hug offered. It was... peaceful, even with the lack of clothing on each of them. If anything, that just made that moment a little more special, like the two were holding one another after making love... even though the complete opposite had just happened. Though, strangely, Yang was alright with that. Sure, she was not exactly thrilled to be breaking up with another girlfriend, but she had a strong feeling that they were going to work better as friends.
"Hey, can I uh, still stay over?" Coco hesitantly wondered. "Don't uh... Don't really feel like breakin' the news to Big Red quite yet, and I don't wanna sleep alone tonight."
Raising her head, Yang just smiled. "I'd like that, cuddle buddy."
Coco blinked at the blonde's answer. "You... want me to stay?"
Yang only nodded, placing a hand onto her friend's. "Please."
After a moment, Coco managed a smile. "You're the best." She offered, before looking down at her fully nude body. "But uh, I didn't exactly bring PJs... 'cause I wasn't really expectin' to sleep clothed... or uh, or at all..."
Yang offered a warm smile in response. "Well then, I think I can help with that." She answered, swinging her legs over the side of the bed and hopping off onto the carpeted floor, but not before receiving a firm slap on the behind as she did so, eliciting a quiet, but high-pitched yelp. She briefly turned back to stare at her friend, only to find the brunette smirking at her from the bed. "Or I could always just leave you to sleep naked on the floor."
Coco just chuckled at the threat. "Okay okay, I'm sorry. I get chilly at night."
Yang merely flashed a grin back, before opening up her drawer. "Now there's a good girl."
Following a bit of searching, the blonde was able to pick out a pair of underwear and pyjamas for the both of them - An orange tank top and black pyjama shorts for her, and a loose white T-shirt and purple pyjama shorts for her friend. Of course the latter did not exactly fit Coco very well - especially in the chest region - and even the underwear was a little loose on her, given Yang's larger rear, but they were enough for a single night, and she was happy to take them over a dress and a wet pair of lacy lingerie panties. But if Yang was being honest, Coco looked rather adorable in her pyjamas.
Once the pair were changed into their respective sets, they climbed into bed, this time to get ready to sleep. Though there was a moment after the two were sitting comfortably that they just stared at one another, lilac gazing into chocolate brown. Then they both started to lean in, eyes closing as the two met in a final, soft kiss. Once separated, they merely smiled at each other, knowing full well that it would be the last one that they shared, but glad it ended well.
Then Coco's expression changed, as if suddenly realizing something. "Oh, I almost forgot to do one more thing. You mind?"
Yang furrowed her brow. "Uh, sure? What is it?" She inquired, to which her friend just smirked. Oh gods, what is she planning now?
In a flurry of movement, Coco ducked down, pulling up the blonde's orange tank top with one hand and shoving her face between her bare, sizable breasts, pressing them together as she blew a loud raspberry, rapidly shaking her head back and forth...
Oh my gods.
Coco was motor-boating her.
Yang could only manage to squeal, wrapping her arms around her friend, falling backward and bringing the brunette with her, giggling uncontrollably as she was joyfully motor-boated.
Fucking nightmares...
Blindly managing to sit up in her unexpectedly comfortable, non-lumpy bed, Cinder took a few moments to catch her breath, before stretching her exceptionally sore arms, shoulders and back. Son of a bitch. She groaned to herself, eye still closed, not wanting to look at her shithole of an apartment quite yet. While being taken out for archery was an enjoyable and honestly cathartic experience - one that she was surprisingly good at - she was not exactly thrilled about how much her muscles ached.
Using one of her hands to wipe the sleep from her eyes, Cinder observed her surroundings, and a pang of fear suddenly shot through her. This was not her apartment. Frantically searching the room around her to attempt to find some familiarity, she eventually spotted several boxes, as well as her gym bag sitting next to the dresser across the room, causing a realization to hit her. This was Raven's guest bedroom... Right. She had almost forgotten that she moved in with her yesterday. Gods, how lucky am I?
Pushing the covers aside, Cinder moved herself to sit on the edge of the bed, as she waited for the dull thrumming to leave her body... and for her burns to stop stinging. Well, at the very least she was used to the emotional trauma by now, after... so many vivid nightmares. Though, that fact did not make it any less horrible, and unfortunately, this particular nightmare was no different.
This time... like an alternate reality where Cinder had perished in that fire instead, she was forced to helplessly watch Emerald... be in her position. To have her same injuries... To be accused for burning down Salem's company... To be nearly sent to jail... and on top of it all... She had no one... Emerald was the one who was burned and alone... Except she did not have anyone to come to her rescue in her time of desperation... No Raven... or Nora... or Yang...
Cinder had to shake away those less-than-pleasant thoughts, lest it make her cry. It's not real. It was just a nightmare. She told herself, over and over again, taking deep breaths to keep herself calm. Just focus on something positive, something happy... Something...
Fuck. It's not working.
Reaching over to the end table that sat next to the bed, Cinder decided to grab her scroll, hoping there was something there that could at the very least distract her from the lingering feelings of the nightmare. Thankfully, she soon found just the thing - or rather, just the person. Idly navigating to her text messages, she stumbled upon the message conversation with a certain Yang Xiao Long, which had been at the top of the list since the pair's girls night. A bit odd, considering how... eventful that night ended up being.
Yang: Like, it's easy hanging out as friends but girlfriends is like different and I dunno what I should change
Cinder: Do what feels natural, Yang. Hold her hand, gaze into her eyes, tell her that her tits look nice.
Yang: I do that anyway!
Cinder: Then keep doing it.
Yang: Roger that Cindy!
Cinder: What did I tell you about calling me that?
Yang: :D
Oh, right. Cinder had almost forgotten that her friend had planned to go out on a fancy date with Coco today, evident from the blonde asking for some advice during their earlier text conversation. I just hope she's having a better night than me... Cinder thought to herself, before a thought occurred.
Who am I kidding? They're probably fucking right now. Well, so long as that blonde oaf actually behaved herself.
Of course Cinder was quite happy for her friend, as she had been noticeably happier and more cheerful since she began dating Coco, but once again, a small, more selfish part of her was a bit jealous of the two, especially given her own... rather hopeless chances with Raven. Unfortunately, that then caused a number of moderately inappropriate thoughts to flood her mind about what things would have been like if Yang had accepted her offer that night... What it would have felt like to be carried into her bedroom, to be thrown down onto the bed, climbed over-top of, have clothes torn off, ravished like-
...
Gods, I need to stop thinking about this and get a glass of water.
Picking herself up from the overly-comfy bed, Cinder let out a yawn, walking her way over to the door, which she opened as quietly as physically possible, lest she risk waking up Raven - as she did not know how heavily her boss slept. Once out in the hall, she expected to find it pitch black, with her needing to use the flashlight on her scroll to actually see anything, but... there was a light at the end, appearing to be coming from the main area of the apartment. Had a light been left on from the prior evening? No... Cinder remembered that they turned them all off before going to bed. So... what was it?
Slowly making her way down the short hallway, growing closer to the source of the light, she hesitantly walked around the corner, revealing a sight that made her heart sink. Idly sitting at the kitchen table, staring at the wooden surface was Raven, who upon first glance appeared to be holding a glass of water, but after noticing the bottle of vodka sitting next to it, it was clear that said glass was filled with something else. Clad in a black T-shirt of some rock band that Cinder was not familiar with, as well as a pair of grey boy shorts-
Oh my gods, she's in her underwear. Raven is in her underwear!
Cinder could feel her single eye widen as she merely stood there, staring at her friend who had not taken notice of her yet... or more accurately, her underwear-clad rear - which was not easily seen due to the chair - and... those gorgeous... thick... smooth... bare legs... Fuck... To die buried between them would be a joyful fate... She must have stood there for several minutes... or something... She might have lost track of time... before she was finally noticed.
Following the younger woman's eye, Raven looked down to observe her attire, or technically lack of it. "Oh, hey, uh, sorry about this. Kinda forgot you were here. Want me to put on some shorts or somethin'?"
Snapping herself out of her near-trance, Cinder quickly shook her head. "No no!" She blurted out, causing her cheeks to heat up a bit from the embarrassment of being caught. "I-It's alright... " Gods damnit, change the subject! "Um... That's a nice shirt, where did you get it?"
Gazing down at the garment, Raven tugged at it to better see what was on it. "Thanks, it was Tai's... I uh, wore it more than he did."
"Oh, he had good taste." Cinder commented.
"Yeah, we both thought so." Raven agreed, which was followed by a brief, slightly awkward of silence, with the neither of the two knowing what to do or say. Thankfully the older woman had an idea. "Can't sleep?"
Cinder just shrugged. "Never could."
Raven glanced down at her still partially-filled glass, then back to her friend. "Well, care to join me for a drink?"
Cinder managed a smile. "If you're buying." She agreed, making her way over to the kitchen table to sit down in the chair next to Raven's, while the other woman got up to retrieve another glass.
Upon returning to the table, Raven unscrewed the cap to the vodka bottle, pouring some of the clear liquid out into the second glass and sliding it over to Cinder. She then raised her own glass, prompting the younger woman to the same. "To shitty sleep."
Cinder just smirked a bit as the pair's glasses met with a clink. "What other kind of sleep is there?"
Raven let out a soft chuckle at the question after they both took their respective sips. "Good point. So what's got you up this time? You uh, have another nightmare?"
After a moment of staring at her glass, feeling the familiar burn in her throat from the vodka, Cinder nodded. "Yeah..."
"You wanna talk about it?" Raven inquired.
Not particularly, but that also means more time here. "It was... another one about Emmy..." She admitted, swallowing. "This time I had to watch her be in my position while I was the one who perished in that fire... Except... she didn't have anyone to save her like I did..." Then she felt Raven place a hand upon her own, giving it a gentle squeeze. Cinder would have continued, explaining how the nightmare was not as vivid as others, that it was not so bad... but the feeling of her friend's hand... distracted her from that particular piece of information. Instead, she merely turned her hand so that she could properly take hold of Raven's, leading to a moment where they just... sat there together. We're holding hands again! "What... about you? Why are you up so late?"
Raven took another sip from her drink. "Insomnia, ran outta sleepin' tablets. Which is a pain in the ass 'cause I didn't even realize I was runnin' out."
Cinder almost forgot that her boss also suffered from insomnia. "Do you have anything else that usually helps?"
Raven lifted her half-full glass. "You're lookin' at it."
Cinder's gaze fell a bit, as the realization hit her that not everyone has their own Nora to be there for them, to cuddle them until they fall asleep, to comfort them after nightmares, to be there when they wake up in the morning... "I suppose there are less healthy methods."
Raven just shrugged. "Beats popping pills... and being kept up by Sum's annoying soaps."
Cinder only groaned, taking a drink. "Gods, I fucking hate soaps."
Raven let out a quiet chuckle. "Probably one of the only things I don't miss about livin' with those two. Well, that and Sum's naggin' about when I do this."
Even though that woman was exceptionally motherly, Cinder could not imagine the perfect Summer Rose nagging. "I used to watch documentaries, Emmy...didn't like them, but she'd fall asleep so it didn't matter."
"Well, what kinda docs were they?" Raven wondered.
"Anything, really... " Cinder answered. "History, biology, geography just... I liked to learn, and if I was going to be awake doing nothing I might as well learn."
Raven took another sip from her drink. "Guess that's better than what I do, but I don't think I'd be able to sit through an entire doc about any of that stuff. My brain hates anything that reminds it of school."
That information only caused Cinder to grin. "I smell a dropout."
Raven merely rolled her eyes. "Yeah, no shit, Cin."
Cinder softly chuckled at the response. "There were times I wish I could be so blasé, just... switch off, stop caring...but I was too spiteful to stop."
"Be thankful you did." Raven defended. "I'm lucky I actually enjoy runnin' the bar downstairs, 'cause if I didn't, I'd have nowhere else to go."
"Hmph, a woman of your make has options." Cinder encouraged.
Raven just huffed. "Like what? Stripping?"
While she attempted to push the thought away as hard as physically possible, Cinder could not help but imagine the idea of her friend being a stripper. Erotically dancing in front of a crowd of people, spinning around on a metal pole, taking her into a room for a private dance... grinding up against her, climbing... into her lap... You have to stop doing this to yourself. Unable to stop a blush from tinting her cheeks, Cinder cleared her throat, somehow able to remain calm... for the most part. "You can do it online these days."
Raven snorted. "And here I thought you were gonna disagree with me. Oh no, Raven, you could do much better things with your life." She mocked, imitating the younger woman as best as she could. "Glad to know if I ever have to turn to that, I'll have at least one customer."
Cinder furrowed her brow. "I do not sound like that."
Raven just grinned. "I do not sound like that." She repeated, imitating her friend once again.
Cinder rolled her eye with a groan. "Ugh, you are such a brat."
Raven let out a chuckle. "Well, you agreed to move in with me, so now you've gotta deal with it."
"Ah yes, curse my horrible, dangerous former living situation." Cinder deadpanned, taking a rather large sip from her drink.
"'Cause now you're stuck with me." Raven added with a smirk, finishing off her own.
What followed was a short pause, as the older woman refilled her drink, and Cinder hesitantly allowed it. "Well... we can either drink ourselves to sleep... or we could see if any documentaries are on."
"Do I get to finish my drink first?" Raven wondered, holding up her now-full glass. "I'm not drunk enough to watch a doc yet."
"Just bring the bottle." Cinder recommended.
Raven paused, looking down at her drink, then the half-empty bottle of vodka. "I can work with that."
And so the two raised from the seats, their hands separating, and made their way into the living area, plopping down on the couch with their glasses, while Raven placed the bottle onto the wooden coffee table in front of them. She then tossed the remote to Cinder, tasking her with the job of finding the documentary for them. So, upon turning on the television, she began flipping through the channels. The pair sat in relative silence for a short time, until Raven decided to speak up.
"So uh, you talk to Yang at all today?"
Cinder shook her head. "Not in person, but we texted a bit after I was finished with Glynda."
Raven idly nodded. "That's good... 'Cause she uh, seemed pretty excited about somethin'."
Cinder furrowed her brow, turning to look at her friend. "She didn't tell you?"
Raven just shrugged. "I don't uh, I dunno, why? Did somethin' happen?"
Does... she really not know? "She went on a date with Coco." Cinder somewhat awkwardly answered.
There was a pause. "Oh... yeah, right..." Raven almost-murmured. "Forgot that was today, or I guess yesterday by now..."
Given that it's past three AM, it would be yesterday. Though Cinder could only smirk at the response, as an realization popped into her head. "Well, depending on how things went, it could still be happening."
Raven just groaned. "Ugh, not the image I needed."
Cinder chuckled softly at her friend's discomfort. "My apologies, I could not resist."
Raven merely rolled her eyes, taking a drink, finishing it before placing the glass onto the coffee table. "Yeah, I bet." She sighed, burying her face in her hands. "I just hope it works out this time."
Cinder offered a warm smile in return. "I'm sure it will, Raven, those two seem quite comfortable together."
"She was comfortable with Blake, she was comfortable with Neo..." Raven mumbled. "At least she bounced back from the midget, but the cat broke her heart and stamped on the fucking pieces... I just... don't want Yang to get her heart broken again..."
Cinder frowned, knowing enough about that story to understand the older woman's annoyance. "Well, I'll admit I don't really know much about that Blake woman, but Neo was and is a complete fucking bitch, and I only wish I had told Yang about her sooner, but... she seems really happy with Coco, and things appear to be going well, even if they're a bit odd."
Raven laughed suddenly. "Yeah, that's what it was like with Blake, then she's gone, and Yang won't talk to anyone about it, and if you try to ask about it she just hides away from you, and..." She trailed off, drawing a deep breath. "Yang... takes after me, and that's not something I wanted to encourage..."
"So... She's never even talked to you about it?" Cinder hesitantly wondered.
Raven only shrugged. "She told me enough, not that there was much to tell apparently." Then she sighed. "It hurts that she doesn't tell me about this shit, but I know it's my dumbass' fault... I can never find any of the right words, and the last time I tried... well, you saw how bad it got..."
"And yet you both worked through your issues and fixed it." Cinder added.
"Only 'cause you forced us to talk to each other." Raven reminded.
"Well, I suppose you're lucky to have me then." Cinder informed with a smile, that might have been a tad sly.
Raven snorted. "Psh, yeah, blessed as fuck over here."
Another pause, as Cinder decided between continuing and resuming her search for a documentary. "Raven, how much time do you spend with Yang outside of work?"
Raven just scoffed. "Yang doesn't wanna hang out with me outside of work."
Cinder was not entirely sure how to continue with that answer. "Perhaps... you should ask her?" She eventually suggested. "I highly doubt she actually doesn't want to spend time with you."
"But... what would we do?" Raven asked, tossing her hands up in frustration, looking down at the floor. "She's... we don't have anything in common, we've never done anything... I was never that kind of parent, hell, I was barely any kind of parent... The only thing I taught her was mixing drinks and she took that up faster than I ever did."
Gazing forward at the coffee table before them, Cinder let out a small sigh. "Sometimes... I think about what I wanted from a mother... if I had one. To me, it's like a friendship that you can't find anywhere else, someone who you can admit your mistakes to and use the lessons learned from them to help." She explained, trying her best to make sense, looking at her friend with a smile, and reaching over to take Raven's hand, which was quickly reciprocated. Though the older woman's gaze remained down at the floor. "Of course it won't happen overnight, but maybe you should start by just talking to her, discuss possibilities for what you could do together outside of work."
Raven did not answer immediately, spending several moments simply staring at the floor, until she took a deep breath. "I... alright... alright, I'll do it, that, do that... I just have to try not to fuck it up this time."
Cinder squeezed her friend's hand. "You won't, Rae... and if you do, I'll be there to help you fix it."
Surprisingly, Raven managed a smile of her own. "Thanks, Cin... Fuck, we can't be doing this emotional shit, what are we watching?"
Cinder just blinked. "Oh, yes, I forgot about that. I suppose I'll get back to searching."
So, after a few minutes of flipping through the various channels on the television, the younger woman finally found something relatively interesting: a documentary on wild wolf packs. Not exactly ideal, but given the fact that it was currently past three in the morning, it was likely the best they were going to get. Though thankfully, it was enough to put both of them to sleep, hands still intertwined, and with Cinder's head falling upon Raven's shoulder as her eye finally closed.
They both slept better with company.
Weiss awoke to a dark, quiet apartment... Thank the fucking Maidens.
For a brief moment, she stared at her surroundings in confusion, struggling to place her location. Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, she scanned the room again. Her clothes bag sat next to the couch that she currently sat upon, and the television idly played across the room. Oh, right... Yang's apartment.
So yesterday was real...
Lifting the admittedly overly-comfy blanket off of herself, Weiss reached over to the coffee table to grab her scroll, before lifting herself into a sitting position, and turning the device on, which surprisingly was not followed by her getting blinded by the bright screen. It seemed she had remembered to turn the brightness down last night. Upon turning the scroll and checking the time, Weiss frowned, rather annoyed that she had been unable to sleep through the entire night, as the time currently read 3:34 AM. Letting out a sigh, she allowed herself to fall back onto the couch, her head hitting the soft pillow with a dull thump, as the events from the prior evening began to run through her mind.
After Yang had left for her date, Weiss' happiness for her friend only shifted into... envy. Vernal had never once taken her out on a date before. Sure, they went out shopping for things, sometimes getting lunch while they were out, but... dinner at a fancy restaurant? Her now-ex did not even have the table manners for that. So, Weiss just tried to focus on cleaning up the apartment. Throwing away loose containers, sorting the mail, folding up clothes and placing them outside Yang's room - including what could only be Coco's lacy red bra - and just overall straightening up the place. By the time she was finished, it was almost like a whole new apartment.
Weiss then found herself with much less to do, so she settled for simply watching TV and playing on her scroll - which began with changing her lock and home screen backgrounds from the pictures of her and Vernal - until she felt hungry enough to think about dinner. Though when that time came, Weiss had a little trouble deciding what to do about it. Of course she was in no mood to actually go out for anything, but that still left a number of takeout options. Eventually, Weiss decided on a couple servings of dumplings from a Mistrali takeout place that she and Vernal sometimes ordered from. It was not much food, but... she was not very hungry after what happened earlier.
After the takeout had been consumed and the containers cleaned up, Weiss had once again found herself with not a lot to do, which only led her to sitting around some more, flipping through the various channels on the television. A tad boring at first, given there was nothing on she really felt like watching, until she stumbled upon an animated show that she had never seen before, but seemed interesting, called SPHR - which she later learned was pronounced Sapphire. As far as she could gather, it was about four girls that were put on a team at this monster-hunting school in order to save the world... or something. The writing was not exactly the strongest, or the voice acting in some cases, but the fights were cool, so it was entertaining enough for one night.
Soon enough, it was time for Weiss to turn in for the night. So, after finding and grabbing a pillow and blanket from the hall closet, she curled up on the couch and attempted to go to sleep. Unfortunately, only after about ten or twenty minutes of lying there, still awake, she heard giggly voices of Yang and Coco, arriving back at the apartment from their romantic date. Well, shit. The only thing Weiss could think of to do was to pretend she was asleep, so when the couple entered the apartment, she remained still, hoping that they believed that she was actually sleeping. Unfortunately, that led to her hearing Coco whisper Just so you know, I don't have a quiet setting into Yang's ear. Weiss just silently groaned as the two retreated back to the blonde's bedroom, knowing what they were going to do. Gods, why did I have to seek refuge here tonight?
It was impossible to ignore.
Moaning, creaking, breathless murmurs barely muffled by the thin walls of Yang's bedroom... Weiss could not help but listen. She thanked the gods for her restraint, for even as her body responded, her composure held fast. Curled into a ball beneath her blanket, shifting uncomfortably as warmth blossomed throughout her body. By the time the sounds ended, she had nearly broken, unable to resist rubbing her thighs together, and reaching up to squeeze her modest chest. Weiss hated herself for even allowing it to go that far, only thankful that it had not lasted any longer, as she dreaded even thinking about what could have happened if it did not. Likely a visit to her clothes bag for a new pair of underwear.
She hated this weakness, this desperation for touch.
Vernal's touch.
Strong arms wrapping around her, warm breath upon her shoulder, rough fingers slipping beneath her clothes. Weiss had never slept so well as after a night of passionate love making... Though... it had never been that, had it? Vernal did not make love to her. She had never made love to her. It was just... sex to her. The sharp pang her heart threw cold water on her arousal, luckily... and she had fallen asleep with fresh tears in her eyes.
Now, sitting upon the couch at three-thirty in the morning, Weiss let out a heavy sigh, slumping forward. She could really use a hug right about now. Sadly, Yang was fast asleep, cuddled up with Coco, and even if she was not, the blonde would have much better things do than deal with a depressed apartment-crasher, like her girlfriend for instance. She was sure that Vernal was not the only one who enjoyed her share of three-AM sex.
Suddenly, the sound of a slightly squeaky door pulled Weiss from her unpleasant thoughts, drawing her attention to small hallway that led to Yang's bedroom, where she found a certain blonde creeping out from within. Surprisingly dressed in an orange tank top and black pyjama shorts, she peeked around the corner, likely expecting her friend to be asleep, but instead was met by a pair of icy blue eyes staring back into her own lilac.
"Oh, uh, hey... Weiss..." Yang quietly greeted, hesitantly making her way into the living area. "Didn't expect you to be up this late..."
Weiss merely attempted to offer a smile. "Well, I haven't really gotten much sleep tonight if I'm behind honest." And not just because of what happened... with Vernal.
Yang only furrowed her brow at the response. "Really? 'Cause when Coco and I got home you were snoozin' away."
Weiss paused, a tad... hesitant to admit that what her friend thought was not at all the case. "Not... Not exactly." She finally admitted, unable to look the blonde in the eye.
Yang just blinked, seemingly realizing what that meant. "Wait... So you mean... you heard us when we came back?"
After a moment, Weiss nodded. "Unfortunately."
Another moment passed by, then Yang's eyes widened. "Oh my fuck I'm so sorry, Weiss. We were a little drunk from dinner, and thought you were fast asleep 'cause the TV was playing..." She rambled, shifting uncomfortably in place. "Shit, if we knew you were still awake, we would've been a little more considerate, or hell, we would've quieted down if you told our dumb asses to shut up-"
"Yang." Weiss interrupted. "It's alright." She assured, offering a warmer smile, before it faltered a bit, as memories from the prior night flooded back into her mind. "I will admit, it was... beyond awkward to hear went on inside your bedroom while I was trying to sleep, but at the same time, I was the one who requested to stay here, so you should not have to apologize for enjoying your evening. Additionally, I did manage to fall asleep for a while after you two quieted down." Then Weiss realized something. Her friend was still fully clothed, and her outfit did not even appear to be thrown on, which certainly raised a couple questions...
"Uh, Weiss? You okay?" Came Yang's voice, pulling the other woman from her thoughts as she noticed the blonde was now standing closer.
"O-Oh, yes, perfectly fine." Weiss attempted to confirm, realizing that she had been staring at her friend's body. "I was just... surprised to see you fully clothed after your... well, rather eventful evening."
Reaching up to rub the back of her head, Yang averted her gaze. "Yeah, about that... Coco and I uh... kinda broke up..." To which her friend could only respond through her shocked expression, not knowing what to think of the unexpected reveal. "While we were... y'know, gettin' busy, we both kept getting this feeling that what we were doing was wrong, so we stopped, talked about it, and... well, figured we weren't really fit for each other as girlfriends. So we're settling for friends." Then Yang paused, briefly turning her head to glance back toward her bedroom. "And uh, she's still here 'cause she didn't wanna break the news to Rubes and Pyr just yet, and we both wanted a cuddle buddy."
Weiss' gaze fell as her friend spoke, knowing how well the two seemed to work together. "I'm... sorry to hear that, Yang..." Though if they're still sleeping in the same bed, it couldn't have been that bad of a breakup.
I could sure use someone to cuddle with.
Yang shook her head. "Don't be, it was gonna happen sooner or later, and honestly, I'm kinda glad it did tonight, 'cause I don't think either of us would wanna regret our first time together."
Weiss opened her mouth to respond, but upon realizing what had just been said, she froze. Their... first time? Did that mean... they had never made love before tonight? But then... what about the bra that she found earlier? Was that just from a make-out session that got heated? Or perhaps- No, stop thinking about that. Weiss told herself, shaking away the thought, trying to focus on the current conversation. "I... suppose that's a good way to think about it." Especially considering that she herself heavily regretted her first time, due to it being with some guy that her father set her up with. "But if you're not... busy, what has you up this late?"
Yang actually blinked, seemingly not expecting such a simple question. "Oh, just gettin' Coco and I some water. She woke up, then I woke up, then we were both really thirsty 'cause we hadn't drank any water since like, before we had any wine yesterday." She explained, making her way through the living area and into the kitchen, flicking on the light. "So I'm just grabbin' us a couple glasses."
"That's a good idea." Weiss answered, turning to face her friend. "Make sure you both drink plenty."
Yang let out a quiet chuckle at the reply, as she retrieved a couple larger cups from an upper cupboard. "Yeah yeah, we will, mom." She rolled her eyes, bringing the cups to the sink to begin filling them with water. "So uh, you doin' okay?"
Weiss did her best to smile, not wanting to worry her friend further, especially not at three-thirty in the morning. "A little tired, but yes."
Putting the first filled cup aside, Yang began filling the next. "You... got any ideas for what you wanna do tomorrow?"
That... was a good question. Weiss did not have a shift, so she would be completely free to do what she wished. Though... what could she even do? She had absolutely no desire to hang around at The Perch like she normally would, nor did she have to go shopping, as she no longer lived with Vernal... Perhaps... Weiss could finally do something with her friends... "I... promised Ruby I would spend more time with her, so... maybe we could all do something together... I-If you're not busy of course."
Turning off the tap and putting the second cup aside, Yang only offered a beautiful, warm smile. "Well, after I take Coco home tomorrow morning- or I guess later this morning, I've got a shift at work, but after that I'd be down for anything you want. Though I do wanna be home for dinner, 'cause I'm honestly pretty excited for you to experience your first home-cooked Xiao Long meal, since you've never really been here for one before, or uh, or at all."
For the first time in over twenty-four hours, Weiss actually smiled for real. "I would like that, Yang."
"And you've always been a little scrawny, so I wanna make sure to fatten you up for the winter!" Yang quietly added with a goofy grin.
With a smile still gracing her features, Weiss huffed, rolling her eyes. "Good luck with that." Considering that even gaining weight in the wrong places had been proven impossible when she legitimately tried. Sometimes she wished that she did not have such a strong metabolism. Perhaps then she could have a body that was actually desirable.
With two newly-filled cups of water, Yang exited the small kitchen, turned off the light with her elbow, and made her way back into the living area, stopping in front of her seated friend for a moment. "So uh, you need anything before I head back to bed?"
Yes, there was absolutely something that Weiss needed, something that she desperately wanted, but... was a bit hesitant to ask for it. Not in fear that the blonde might refuse, rather... that it might be inappropriate in some way... Though after a few moments of awkward silence - at least for her - Weiss decided. Fuck it. "I... A-A hug... would be nice..." She mumbled, unable to look up at her friend out of slight embarrassment.
Yang only smiled at the request, putting the two cups down onto the coffee table and opening her arms. "C'mere, you."
Weiss could not help but be shocked by how easy that was accepted, though, she really should not have been, given this was Yang. It was not as if she was trying to get a hug from Cinder, or Raven, or... or Vernal... Slowly standing up from the couch, thankful that the floor of the living area was carpet - and not hardwood like a certain other place - Weiss stepped forward toward her friend, where two strong arms wrapped around her shoulders, pulling her into a gentle embrace. There was a moment where she hesitated, but soon enough she gratefully accepted the hug, burying her face in the blonde's shoulder. What followed were several moments where the two merely... remained there in the quiet darkness, only lit by the glow of the television screen, enjoying each other's warmth. Weiss wished that they could stay there forever...
Eventually, the two separated, with Yang grabbing the two cups of water, bidding her friend a good night, and returning to her bedroom, leaving Weiss to sit back down onto the couch, once again alone in the living area, only wanting to return to the embrace. But first, there was something that she had waited for since waking up.
Now I can finally go to the bathroom.
