Ok so the poll on what to do with the Originals story line is this so far:

Make Nicole a vampire BEFORE going to New Orleans

Yes-2

No-3

Switch Hailey out for Nicole

Yes-6

No-0

So that's how that's going. And yes, if Nicole and Hailey swapped places then Nicole would be pregnant again. And for you Hayley haters, she will still be in the story for Elijah.

Thanks for all your input

The next morning, I got up early and went for a run. I was tired of being a victim for people to use against Nik. When I got back to the boarding house I walked inside to get ready for the day when I got a phone call.

"Hello?"

"Hello Nikky." I smiled at his voice as I walked up to my room for a shower.

"Nik. How did I get this honor?" I asked him.

"The house is finished love. You and Nikolas can come home." he told me and my smiled grew.

"Ok. Give me a few moments to shower and get us both ready for the move and we'll be there." I told him. "I love you."

"I love you. See you soon." with that we hung up the phones and I rushed to my room and quickly showered before packing up our clothes and taking them to the car. I went back to the house to get Nikolas ready to leave when I ran into Damon.

"What's got you in a hurry?" he asked me.

"The house Nik was building is finished so Nikolas and I are going to live there from now on." I told him going upstairs to get my son.

"You're going to live with the Original that's using your sister as a human blood bag?" he asked me.

"Yep." I answered before going to the small baby bed I had and got Nikolas up. "Hey little guy, did you have a good sleep?" I asked him smiling.

"You know he wont be able to answer you for a year or so." Damon told me and I gave him a look before getting Nikolas ready to go.

"Thank you for letting us stay here Damon, I appreciate it." I said giving him a small hug before I put Nikolas in his car seat and driving off to my new home.

When I got to the address Nik had given me I couldn't believe what I seeing. This wasn't a house or a Mansion it was a freaking palace! It was huge!

"Well, no matter what people say about your father Nikolas they can never say he doesn't have the money to take care of you." I told him before getting him out of the car and going inside. "Nik?" I called to him.

"Nikky, welcome home love." I saw him walking down the grand staircase to both of us and couldn't help the smile on my face.

"It's good to be home." I told him before giving him a quick kiss. He took Nikolas from my arms and held him, smiling down at our baby. "This place is amazing." I told him and he smiled at me.

"Come. I'll show you to our room." he told me.

"Our room?" I asked him.

"Unless you want a room of your own." he said and I shook my head.

"No. A room for two sounds perfect." I told him and he smiled at me as we made our way further into the mansion. Nik opened a door for me and I smiled at the large room. It was perfect for the two of us. It had books, art, everything a girl could ask for, including a joint bathroom. "And where will Nikolas be?" I asked turning to him. His smile grew at my question and he opened another door I'd assumed was a closet. I walked into the room and saw a large nursery filled with anything and everything parents would want for a newborn.

"What do you think?" he asked me.

"Oh, Nik. It's wonderful." I told him. I watched as he placed Nikolas in his new crib before walking to me. He kissed me gently before we had ro remove ourselves from Nikolas' room.

Later that day, Nik pulled me with him to the Salvatore Boarding house while we left Nikolas with Jenna so he could talk with Stefan. Nik wanted to keep an eye on me after what had happened with Stefan. Nik and I sat in a char together as music blasted.

"Are you sure he'll even give them back to us?" I asked him.

"He's knows better than to keep things I want from me." he told me. "Or steal what's mine."

"Nik, he's on a revenge path. We don't know what he's going to do." I told him. I looked up as I heard the door open and Stefan walked into the room.

"What are you doing here, Klaus? Nicole?" he asked us.

"Enjoying our stalemate." Nik told him.

"What do you want?" Stefan asked him.

"The question is what you want? My hybrids left town as you demanded, so please tell me what I need to do to get my family back." Nik told him.

"Well, see... Klaus...I'm not negotiating." Stefan said and my mouth fell open.

"Are you serious?" I asked him and they both gave me a look.

"And you understand, that holding them indefinitely is the same thing as dropping them in the ocean?" Nik asked him.

"No, No. You leave Mystic Falls with both your baby and his mother then give me call in a few years and we'll talk." Stefan told us.

"I can give you another chance. Just one more. Let's make a reasonable deal." Nik told him.

"Or what? You make one move and I will drop..." Stefan started to threaten him but Nik just laughed at him.

"Yes, right. Crazy Stefan. How is that working out for you? Any friends left?" Nik asked him. He then took my hand and pulled me out of the house with him.

"Nik, stop." I told him but he just kept pulling me to his car. "Nik!" he finally stopped and turned to me. "We'll get them back. I know we will."

"And how do you know this?" he asked me.

"Because the Gilbert family is extremely stubborn, we don't give up on what we want." I told him, smiling.

"What do you want?" he asked me.

"I want you to be happy. I want you to be reunited with your family again." he smiled at me and kissed me gently.

"Well then, let's get to work on that." he told me before we left to pick up Nikolas and go home.

"How's life on the road?" I heard Nik ask on the phone at the Grill. We'd stopped to get something quick to eat when his phone went off. He tried moving far enough away from me so I wouldn't hear his conversation but it didn't work. "Boring. For now. There's no need. I've been making friends with the town civil servants. There's a deputy, obnoxiously chatty, but useful nonetheless. You're clear, what you need to do?" Suddenly my phone started ringing.

"Hello?"

"Hey Nikky, we're down at the old Lockwood Cellar to help Tyler break the sire bond. Can you come help us?" Care asked on the other line.

"I'm with Nik right now, but I'll be there." I told her before hanging up and smiling at Nik as he joined us. "Hey after we eat can you take care of Nikolas for a while? I have an something I have to do."

"And what's that?" he asked me.

"Just a girl thing." I said, smiling. We finished eating and I left to go meet Caroline, Tyler, and Bill at the old cellar. I got there just in time to see Bill chain Tyler up.

"Hey." I said to them.

"Nikky, thanks for coming." Care said, hugging me before turning back to her father and boyfriend. "How do you know, this is gonna work?" she asked them finally.

"That's a process. It took decades, to train myself to resist compulsion. Brain's like a muscle. The more you use it, the more it can do. A sire bound, at its core, is about one thing...gratitude. If you believe you owe Klaus your life, ask yourself why." Bill told Tyler.

"I was cursed. Every full moon I had to change into a wolf. It was torture. Klaus took that away." Tyler told him.

"He freed you from your pain and now you feel indebted to him. To break the sire bound you gotta make yourself turn. Own your pain then you'll owe Klaus nothing and you will be free." Bill told him.

"But how can he turn? It's not a full moon." Care reminded them.

"He doesn't need one." I said and they all looked to me. "You're a hybrid now. You can turn at will now."

"Yeah, but I don't know how to just start." Tyler told me.

"You're making excuses." Bill told him.

"You don't understand! When I turn, I break every bone in my body." Tyler told us.

"You asked for my help. This is the only way. How badly do you want your freedom?" Bill asked him and they both looked at Care.

"Okay." Tyler said.

"Okay." Bill moved back to the two of us and we watched as Tyler started turning.

"I can't. I can't." Tyler told us after a few hours.

"Try harder." Bill ordered.

"Can't he just rest for one second?" Care asked her dad.

"We're dong this my way, Caroline. If you can't handle it, you should go." Bill told her.

"He's right, Caroline. Just go." Tyler told her.

"What?! No! Tyler...!" Caroline protested.

"Go, Caroline." with those words Care left and Bill picked up an ax and repeatedly hit Tyler with it. "What are you doing? What the hell, man?!"

"Does it bother you?" Bill asked him and I grimaced at the actions.

"Knock it off!" Tyler yelled at him.

"Good. Get angry. It's in you. You know it is." Bill told him before hitting him with it again.

"I said, knock it off!" Tyler shouted at him.

"Your bound to Klaus is putting my daughter in danger. Either you turn or I kill you right here, right now." Bill told him, ready to cut Tyler's head off.

"Come on, Ty. You can do it. Just think of who you're doing this for." I told him. He moved back away from us and started to turn again. A couple of hours later he ripped the steel chains out of the walls.

"Oh my god." Bill said and my eyes widened.

"These chains aren't strong enough. You need to leave. Run!" We both did as Ty said and ran like hell. From behind me I heard Bill scream. I turned and stared in shock.

"Ty! No! Stop it!" the wolf, Tyler, stopped his attack and quickly left. I ran to Bill while pulling out my phone and dialing 911. "Hello?! Yes, there was an animal attack! A wolf at the old Lockwood Cellar, please come quickly." I hung up my phone only to have it ring. "Hello?"

"Nikky, meet me at the old witch house. I found a lead on my coffins." Nik told me happily.

"Ok, I'll be there." I told him, looking down at Bill as I hung up.

"Go..." he told me quietly.

"But Bill, I can't just leave you like this." I told him.

"Go..." I nodded my head but waited until I heard the sirens of the ambulance before I dashed off.

I met Nik before he walked into the old house.

"They're here?" I asked him.

"That's what Bonnie told her mother." he told me and I gave him a confused look.

"Bonnie's mom? What do you mean Bonnie's mom?" I asked him.

"Did they not tell you? Bonnie and Elena went to visit Bonnie's mother, for what reason I don't know but I got to her first." he told me.

"Did you... Are they okay?" I asked him.

"For now." he grabbed my hand and pulled me with him into the house. I followed him into the basement but saw nothing. Nik pulled me with him to hide before I saw Damon walking into the room.

"What took you so long?" Nik asked him, revealing the both of us to him. "Hiding behind your witchy friends. And in squalor no less." Suddenly the candle flames grew higher and Nik broke down in pain.

"Nik!" I bent down and placed a hand on his back and on his arm.

"Insulting a bunch of dead witches... not smart. I made the exact same mistake first time I came in here." Damon said and I glared up at him.

"Well, you know, the funny thing about witches is, that living or death, they care about their own. A hundred dead witches have a thousand living descendants... And I have no problem, killing every last one of them, if I don't get my coffins back. As we speak, my hybrid friend is prepared to end the Bennett line." Nik said. The candles died down and Nik and I stood up slowly. "Now... please... show me the coffins." Suddenly we saw 3 coffins appear in front of us. Nik's 3 brothers. "Here we are." Nik said walking between two of them. "Where's the fourth? Show me!" I looked between the teo of them confused.

"Well, here's the thing. They can't. It's not here." Damon told us.

"What did you do?"Nik asked him coldly.

"Well, Bonnie gave me the heads-up. I didn't have enough time, to get all four, but I did have time to get one." Damon told us.

"I will tear you, limb from limb. And only then, when you're a riving mass of blood and flesh, will I rip your heart from your chest." Nik threatened him.

"Sorry. The same rules apply. You know, leverage and all. I know you want your family back. But something tells me, you want what's in that coffin a lot more." Damon told him.

"You will have to allow Nik to bring his Hybrids back into town." I told Damon.

"And why is that?" Damon asked me.

"Do you honestly expect the two of us to carry three coffins? Nik and I will need his Hybrids to thake them back with us." I told him. Damon gave me a dirty look and took a deep breath.

"Fine. But only one. I'm sure you and Klaus can get them out of here with only one Hybrid." he told me smirking

"Ok." I said and he left. "Nik you might want to call your one Hybrid in to help us." I told him.

"Thank you." he said to me but I turned a glare to him.

"I wouldn't thank me Nik. You threatened my friend, again." I said before walking out of the witch house.

Before I went home for the night I met up with Tyler to discuss what had happened earlier in the day.

"I don't want that to happen anyone else." he told me. I pulled put my phone and looked down at it for a moment before looking back up to him.

"Do you want to be free from your sire bond to Nik?" I asked him and he nodded. "Then I'll give you some contact information for a friend of mine. She owes me a few favors. Call her and tell her Nicole Gilbert is cashing one of them in. She can help you. But you'll have to leave town for a while."

"I'll do it. What's her name?" he asked me.

"Hayley."

We stood inside our home with the three coffins closed and inside a large room. Let's be honest though, which one of the rooms in this place isn't large?

"You've got your family back. Finally. You gonna open them?" the Hybrid Nik called in to help us asked.

"Not quite yet. I still have some unfinished business to take care of." Nik told him.

"Nik, it's not right to keep them locked up in coffins." I told him. Suddenly, the hybrid squirmed before falling to the floor, dead. Elijah was standing behind him with his heart in his hand.

"So, Niklaus..." Elijah said.

"Elijah?"

"What did I miss?"
