Author's Note: A little late, but here!

After the latter couple... admittedly emotionally tiring days that made up her sister's visit to Vale, mostly due to certain revelations, it was time for Weiss, Yang and Robyn to head to the international airport to see Winter off.

Since the latter was the one with the car, she volunteered to drive them all, first picking up her girlfriend from the hotel, then the younger pair once they were finished... hopefully just saying their private goodbyes. Nothing else, as the last couple days of Winter's visit had already been uncomfortable enough. Weiss really did not need any kind of weird images in her head, or the whole trying to not picture her sister in not-safe-for-work scenarios with her partner shit to start. She would kill Robyn if she ever started teasing her about their... sex life. Gods, it was bad enough just thinking about the possibility of that happening.

Upon arriving at the airport and finding themselves a decent parking spot, Winter got herself checked in, obtaining her proper ticket and sending off her luggage. After that, the only thing left was... to say goodbye. Honestly, as... awkward as the visit was as a whole, between interrogating Weiss about her relationship with Yang, Neo's presence in the apartment, and the discovery of the older sibling's secret... romance with Robyn, it was still nice to see her sister again after so long. Even if... they could have seen each other much earlier had Winter not been lying to her about certain things.

"And then she said Weiss better marry that girl." Robyn explained through laughter as the two pairs made their way into an vacant, open area so that they could talk without being in anyone's way. "I swear, I've never seen Win change her tune on someone so fast!"

"Robyn!" Winter hissed at the story, an uncharacteristic, yet still small blush tinting her cheeks, while the other two just laughed. Weiss could really get used to hearing her sister be teased like this. An unexpected change for sure, but a welcome one.

"Hell if Weiss doesn't marry her, I will." Robyn continued, much to her girlfriend's embarrassment. "You can't cook packet risotto."

Winter pouted at the accusation. "I cook packet risotto just fine!"

Robyn only chuckled. "And that's about it." She countered with a smirk, before looking to the younger pair. "I've been trying to teach her to properly cook since we started dating, but it's safe to say it hasn't gone too well yet."

"Well, after livin' with someone who didn't really cook for a year and a half, Weissy's got a leg up on that." Yang informed. "Of course, she's still got lots to lean, so I've been doin' my best to help."

Winter just heavily sigh. "Anyways, if you all are quite done embarrassing me..." She began, turning to the younger blonde. "Yang, I apologize for being so hostile when we first met, but I was only worried about my sister. Overall, it was very nice to meet you, and I look forward to visiting again." Then she smiled, holding out her hand.

Yang stared down at the extended hand for several moments, not saying a word, before letting out an adorable chuckle, and holding out her arms with a bright smile. "Aw c'mon, Winter, you're part of the family now. Get over here!"

Winter was clearly hesitant to accept the offered hug, but eventually she stepped forward to do so, wrapping her arms around the younger woman's shoulders, gently patting her on the back a few times as her strong arms snaked around her torso. It was nice to see that even after the interrogation, Yang was so willing to be friendly. Upon separating, Winter was given one more bright smile as she moved onto her girlfriend, who immediately moved in to give her a tight hug, which was a heartwarming sight to see.

"Call me when you land?" Robyn wondered as they partially loosened their embrace.

"You know I will." Winter nodded.

"You know I will, what?" Robyn half-repeated, a smirk spreading across her face.

Winter only glared at her partner, clearly knowing exactly what she wanted, of course while the other two had no idea. She remained there, seemingly hesitating on speaking again, before letting out a huff. "You know I will... dear..."

Oh my gods, that is adorable.

"Good." Robyn grinned, leaning in to quickly peck her girlfriend on the lips before they separated.

"You're lucky that you already courted me." Winter reminded, rolling her eyes, though a small smile still graced her features.

"Oh I know." Robyn defended, reaching up to gently caress her partner's cheek. "I count my blessings every time I see your face."

Surprisingly enough, rather than telling the older blonde to shush, Winter merely smiled, copying the action. "As do I." She proudly declared, before turning to her sister. "Now, if two you will excuse me. Weiss, may I speak to you alone for a moment?"

Weiss nodded. "Of course." She agreed, following her sibling over to a quiet area. "Is there something wrong?"

Winter shook her head as the pair stopped. "Not at all. I only wanted to say goodbye to you in private, and... explain something before I go."

Weiss furrowed her brow at the answer. "What is it, Winter?" She inquired. Considering that only a couple days ago, she had finally spilled the beans, as the blonde would say, about all the secrets she had been hiding, what else needed explanation?

Winter took a small breath. "Yang... is a good woman, Weiss, and I hope that you two will be happy together, however that may be." She hesitantly began. "I apologize for being so harsh when I first met her, but I did not want a repeat of your relationship with Vernal. I... was only worried, as your older sister. I love you, so very much, but... I will admit, I'm not the best at showing it, and that makes me feel so... helpless sometimes. Robyn has done her best to help me over the years, but I still have a ways to go." Then she let out a sigh. "All I want to know is that you're truly sure about this new situation. Do you love Yang?"

Weiss' eyes immediately widened at the question, as she was not expecting anything like it. Gods, even having brought up the L word a couple days ago in regards to her sister's relationship... she never really thought about it in terms of her own... Of course, now that the question was being asked... did she? Glancing over at her friend, who was currently happily chatting away with Robyn, Weiss took a moment to admire her beautiful, perfect smile, adorable laugh, her gods damn incredible body that even a model would surely be jealous of... What's not to love? Though even so, there was more to it than that...

"I... I'm not sure yet..." Weiss admitted, turning back to her sister. "I don't think we're quite... there, but... I know that I love everyone in the family I have here."

Winter was quiet for a brief time, until she smiled warmly. "I understand that, dear sister. I myself am unsure of when I fell in love with Robyn, but I only wish I had told her sooner, because... hearing it said back to me... was the greatest feeling that I have ever experienced..."

Weiss could not help but smile in return. "Well, while I'm still not happy about all the lies you've told me, I can safely say that I'm really happy to see you happy with someone that you obviously care about a lot."

Looking over at her partner, Winter's smile only grew, her expression one of... admiration, and her lip actually quivered a bit. "I truly do." She agreed, her voice wobbling a little while she only stared. "Excuse me for a moment." Winter requested, quickly walking over toward the blonde pair, interrupting their conversation as she took hold of Robyn's face and pulled her into a deep, passionate kiss, right there in the middle of the airport, clearly catching her off guard. It even caught Weiss by surprise, considering how... strange it was to see her sister expressing such... real emotions. Something that she had not seen since they were children... Honestly, she could not help but stare at the admittedly romantic action, before glancing over and seeing Yang smiling at them. The couple then looked at one another, and both smiled.

Seeing those beautiful lilac eyes looking back at her, knowing that they belonged to her girlfriend... That was something Weiss was never going to get used to.

In the meantime, Yang and Robyn had been sharing a personal conversation of their own.

"You know, if there was one thing I've learned from being with Win, it's that you gotta be firm sometimes." Robyn explained, amusingly nudging the younger woman slightly for emphasis. "I can see Weiss really cares about you, and not even just from this visit. I've been hanging out with her at the ice cream parlour for a long time now, and I won't lie, a lot of it's been her going on and on about you. So trust me when I say, if you want something, she'll bend with pressure, but you've gotta stand up and push when you need to."

While Yang could not stop a blush from tinting her cheeks at the thought of her friend talking about her like that to others, she still furrowed her brow at the last thing that was said. "Push... for what?"

Robyn only shrugged at the confusion. "Push back, push forward, whatever you think Weiss needs at the time." She clarified. "Like, back in Win's hotel room, she just demanded you take her home, and you just... clammed up. It's not a great thing to see, Yang. Sometimes you need to go against your partner, 'cause that's how relationships work, and without someone to oppose her when she goes too far, Weiss will just get tunnel vision."

Rather than responding immediately, Yang took a moment to think about the older woman's words. Ever since breaking up with Vernal, her friend had been... well, acting a lot more free, and had begun openly doing what she wanted, over and over again... Especially now that the two were a couple. She knew that Yang would listen to or do anything she asked, both because the blonde cared about her, and she could really be intimidating when she wanted to, even with the size differences between the pair. It was just like Robyn said. Weiss gave her an order to take her home, and she did not want to tell her no, even though she did not want to see the sisters leave things on such a bad note...

"I'll put it this way, if Weiss is anything like Win, and let's be honest, those two have been peas in a pod this whole visit, even if they haven't seen eye-to-eye on certain things, sometimes you gotta dig your heels and really push back." Robyn recommended with a smile, before her expression shifted to one more... sly, her lips curling into a smirk. "And don't be scared if she tries to withhold sex, it won't last long."

Yang only blinked at that last part, a slight blush tinting her cheeks. "Oh, we uh, we haven't gone that far."

Robyn's grin remained strong. "Well, let's just call it an early heads up then."

Yang's eyes widened a bit in response. Good gods, am I gonna have another Neo situation when it comes to the bedroom?

Suddenly, Winter was standing in front of Robyn. Wait, wasn't she just talking to Weiss? The older blonde opened her mouth to say something, likely asking if something was wrong, but was quickly silenced as her partner took hold of her face, and pulled her into a deep, passionate kiss, right there in the middle of the airport, clearly catching her off guard. Oh damn. It certainly caught Yang by surprise, considering how... strange it was to see her expressing such... real emotions, especially since she had acted so... professional during the entire visit. Even so, it made her smile, seeing how happy the couple was together.

Glancing over to where Winter used to be, Yang saw Weiss, who was also staring at the embracing pair. After a moment, her friend's gaze shifted to her, and the two merely smiled at one another. Gods, seeing those beautiful frosty-blue eyes looking back at her, knowing that they belonged to her girlfriend... That was something she was never going to get used to.

A little while later, Yang, Weiss and Robyn found themselves watching Winter's plane leave from the waiting area. Man, what an eventful week. She had gone from meeting her friend's... well, uptight, intimidating sister, to watching that same woman practically make out with her previously-secret girlfriend in the middle of an airport terminal. This wasn't a dream, righ- Yang began to ask herself, before her train of thought was interrupted by the feeling of her hand being taken, fingers intertwining with her own, which she reciprocated by instinct.

Looking over at Weiss with a smile, Yang found her doing the same. The two just remained there for a time, staring into each other's eyes, neither wanting to look away. Then, her friend did something... unexpected, moving until she was in front of the blonde, letting go of her hand so she could... reach up to take gentle hold of her face.

When asked about the greatest moments in her life, Yang would forever remember this one, the time in the Vale international airport waiting area, when Weiss, her girlfriend, leaned in to capture her lips with her own, drawing her into a slow, deep, loving kiss, for the first time. She could not help but squeak a bit upon first contact, her eyes bulging, before sliding shut, giving in. Yang moved in, as far as she could, wrapping her arms around the shorter woman's waist, and returning the embrace with fervor. It had been a long time since she had been kissed like that, and... it was amazing.

To Weiss the experience was equally gratifying. There were others she had kissed... like Vernal... where it felt like... a losing battle. There was force, teeth, dominating will... She could do nothing else but crumple beneath her... Yang however... she practically melted into her, soft and gentle, almost yielding control, even with how much larger she was. The feeling of her strong arms, of her body, of her lips... set alight a flame within her, and it burned bright.

Then they heard the sound of a scroll taking a picture.

Hesitantly separating, since neither of them wanted the moment to end, they both glanced over to find Robyn standing there, a sly grin on her face, and her scroll pointed towards them.

"Did you just... take a picture of us?" Weiss inquired, sounding the slightest bit pissed off that their embrace was just interrupted. Hell, Yang would be too if she was not so shocked that her girlfriend had just kissed her like that. Fuck... She did not think that she had ever been taken so off guard, or gotten so... shell-shocked by a kiss before. Though of course, Robyn just shrugged, clearly proud of what she did.

"Well I gotta have something to send back to Win."

Never in her life did Yang ever expect to be going back to Neo's apartment, especially not with Weiss.

Walking across the parking lot, up the stairs, down the hallway, it all felt so... weird, as if she had traveled back in time to when she and the mute were still dating, and she was heading to her place for another afternoon of fun. Even though she was now doing it all while hand-in-hand with her current girlfriend, something about going back there after all the pain that breakup had caused... Honestly, she was afraid of old wounds opening up, largely because of how much Weiss despised Neo for what she did.

Although, as the trio walked down the hallway toward the apartment labelled 204, it seemed that there was someone else who appeared much more afraid of old wounds than the blonde. Upon seeing the door, Neo began to slow down, eventually falling behind the other two, which, safe to say, did not go unnoticed for very long. The couple shared a concerned look, before walking back to meet their friend, who was now timidly standing in the middle of the hallway, staring down at the floor, seemingly unable to continue.

"Are you alright, Neo?" Weiss inquired.

Without even looking up, Neo shook her head. After a moment, she pulled out her scroll and typed out a message. I don't know if I can do this.

The pair shared another look. "Well... if you want I can run in and pack up some stuff for you." Yang offered, before realizing something rather crucial. "But... I guess you probably don't want me goin' through your underwear and stuff..."

Neo did not really respond. So, Weiss tried a different approach, reaching forward to gently take hold of the mute's hand with her free one. "Neo, you know that you're safe with us, right?" She wondered, causing their friend to hesitantly look up at her. "And we would never let anything happen to you?" To which Neo nodded a bit. "Good. Remember that we're going to be with you the entire time, and we're only here for a few things, so we won't even have to stay very long, okay?"

Neo was unresponsive again, but eventually she nodded again, even managing a small smile.

"That's what I like to see. Now come on, let's go get you some fresh clothes." Weiss warmly smiled, leading the mute by the hand down the hallway, Yang not far behind.

Once they reached their destination, Neo brought out her key, and with slightly shaking hands, unlocked the door, and the trio made their way into the apartment as she flicked on the light, revealing everything... just how Yang remembered it. All the furniture in sight was simple, clean, and neat, as if it was brand-new, completely unused. Every door was closed, nothing seemed out of place or messy... Hell, there were not even any personal items anywhere to be found. It was almost... like a hotel room...

"This is... very nice..." Weiss hesitantly complimented, glancing around the main area as the three women removed their shoes, likely not knowing what exactly to say about the place.

It's bare. I know. Neo countered through a written message on her scroll. I store most of my stuff in my room, but I would still hide it all away when I have a guest over. Even you, Yang. In fact, you were the only one to ever see the inside of my office, and that was by accident, because I was late on a project and needed to finish it. She paused for a moment before continuing. My habits allowed me to keep you all at arms length, so I didn't get attached, and no one could take advantage of me.

At that moment, a realization hit Yang like a gods damn truck. "That's why... you always acted so cold and... better than everyone else... It was to make yourself seem distant and... well, desired..." Like a sort of... mask of perceived superiority...

Neo nodded, typing out another message as they walked across the main room of the apartment. It was easier to just live in isolation, and use people when I wanted company. Even my job kept me away from others. I could work from home, and only ever have to physically deal with people when I specifically planned for it.

"How... long have you lived like that?" Weiss asked.

Since I was able to live on my own. Neo informed, stopping in front of a door, which the blonde knew was to her bedroom. I was an orphan, and had difficulty socializing for obvious reasons. I hated that people had to learn a special language just to be able to talk to me easily. Couples started passing on me because of it, so I decided I didn't want to be adopted, and started avoiding it and other people altogether. Then she took a breath before continuing. Unfortunately, once I was old enough to get urges, I felt like I needed someone because of that. So, I figured the best way to take care of that was to get the only other person I could find who didn't like people to be with me.

Both Yang and Weiss knew exactly who she was talking about. Cinder...

Then I realized things were going too well, and ended things before we got too attached to each other. Neo continued, before finally, yet still hesitantly opening the door to her bedroom, leading the other two inside. It was similar to how Yang remembered - impeccably neat and tidy - except now... it was actually populated with things other than the bed and dresser. There were what appeared to be anime posters on the walls, several figurines of different characters on the dresser - a few of them very scantly clad - and...

Oh my gods... There... was a large, light-pink teddy bear sitting on the bed... Yang could almost not believe her eyes. She would have never have thought that Neo of all people would own anything like that. The only person less likely was Cinder, or maybe her mother. Of course all the anime stuff was a bit surprising, but having seen her art style a few times over the past couple weeks, it made sense. But the stuffed animal...

"Hey, that's a cute bear, Neo." Yang complimented, offering a smile as the trio approached the closet, probably to get an overnight bag of some sort.

Glancing over at the teddy bear, Neo actually managed a slight smile, before typing out another message. Thank you. Then she paused, seemingly unsure about continuing. His name is Hush. He's my substitute for a real person, and the only thing I can talk to without issue.

"You... talk to him?" Weiss half-echoed, clearly shocked. "But I thought you... you couldn't..."

After opening up her closet and pulling out a black bag, Neo hesitantly typed out a response. I can only talk to him mentally, but he always talks back in my mind. He always understands me, never hurts me. Then she let out a sigh, taking a break from typing to kneel down, open up her dresser drawers and begin packing clothes and underwear into her bag. Everyone else was so damn simple. They wanted my body, and that was it. I was able to make it clear that feelings weren't wanted, but you, Yang, you made it harder. I tried to keep it as just sex, but I could tell you wanted more, and every time I saw you, it became more difficult to not let that happen. It hurt to cut you off so harshly, but I had to. It was easier that way, because I knew that you could go find someone who gave you what you wanted, and I could stay alone, and safe.

Yang and Weiss exchanged a concerned look, both of them shocked to hear the new information concerning the breakup. "Neo, that's... not a healthy way to live... You know that, right?" The latter mentioned as the mute continued to slowly pack her clothes. "It ends up hurting you just as much as it does others..."

Neo merely shook her head, harder than usual. It's easier to just stay away and be safe on my own. The only thing I needed other people for was sex, at least it used to be. She let out another sigh, her breath a little shaky. Now I don't even know how to function properly. I don't want to be alone, because I don't feel safe in my own fucking apartment, but I also don't want to be a burden to you two. I don't know what to about anything anymore.

Then Neo typed a sentence that tore both Yang and Weiss' hearts asunder to read.

I feel like my life is falling apart.

Rather than verbally responding, Yang just moved forward and wrapped the mute in a gentle hug, pulling her as close as she could. While the blonde was not able to closely relate to what Neo was going through, that last statement was one she knew all too well, because she lived though something that made her feel like her life had already fallen apart. When Blake had left after their high school graduation, Yang not only lost someone who she believed was the love of her life, but... her best friend. She had people to help her, but... they did not truly understand. But now things were different. While Yang might not completely understand what Neo had physically gone through, she knew exactly what she was mentally going through.

And she was going to do whatever it took to help her ex- no, her friend.

Even after over a week of having her back at The Perch, Cinder still found it... a tad awkward to work with Vernal again, both due to the personality change that came with her breakup, and... having the knowledge of what and... who her ex-girlfriend was likely doing

It was as if her coworker was half a different person. Before her breakup with Weiss, she might have been rather intimidating, but she was still friendly... enough... but now, Vernal was just... there, going about her tasks, barely saying a word. Hell, the only time she actually spoke at all was if she either needed something work-related, or had to deal with a customer, which hardly ever happened since she elected to stay behind the bar unless absolutely needed, like during busy nights. They might not exactly be close, but Cinder hoped that she would be alright.

Well, at the very least, there was no chance of any more amorous activities in the bar's back closet - thank gods - since Yang did not seem like the type of woman who would want to continue that tradition. Of course, being horny had caused people do all types of stupid things in the past. After all, thanks to a few drinks and a fair amount of loneliness between them, Cinder and Yang had nearly spent a rather... exciting evening together a little while ago, only avoided because the blonde politely declined the older woman's offer to sleep with her, right then and there. Though, it was probably for the best, because now Cinder could say with confidence that she was finally dating Raven, and she somehow doubted that would have happened if she had gone through with fucking her daughter... even though her now-girlfriend had made plenty of jokes about her going all cougar on Yang, one of which was even on their first date.

Suddenly, the door to the back area squeaked open, revealing... well, speak of the devil.

"Hey, Cin, you mind comin' to my office?" Raven wondered, gesturing behind her.

Luckily, Cinder was not currently doing anything, so she nodded. "Of course." She agreed, following the older woman through the open doorway and around into her office, softly closing the door behind her, just in case. "Is everything alright?" Cinder inquired, brow furrowed as her boss walked around her desk and sat down in her office chair.

"Everything's great, just get over here." Raven requested, motioning for the younger woman to come closer with her hand.

So, Cinder did, making her way across the office and around the wooden desk until she was standing, a bit confused in front of her girlfriend. "Is there something you want from me? She inquired, raising her brow.

Raven merely grinned. "Yeah, your ass on my lap."

Cinder let out a chuckle at the answer, before stepping forward to somewhat-awkwardly straddle Raven in her office chair. It took a few moments to adjust herself, but she quickly found a comfortable position, arms settling around her shoulders. "You know, if you had the desire to fool around in your office... you should have just said so." Cinder near-whispered, leaning forward to meet the older woman in a passionate, yet brief kiss.

"I mean hey, if you're up for it I won't say no, but that wasn't really what I had in mind." Raven admitted as the pair separated.

Cinder only quirked her brow again. "Oh? Then what is your intention with me here?"

Raven shrugged, which at first confused the younger woman even more. "Well, I've been staring at your ass from behind the mirror for long enough today, so I figured I'd get some time to stare at that pretty face."

Cinder just rolled her eye, though she still smiled. How was she ever lucky enough to land this woman? "Flatterer."

As expected, Raven grinned again. "You know it, bitch." She agreed, reaching up to take hold of her girlfriend's face and pull her into another passionate kiss. No arguments there.

And that was where the couple remained for a little while, spending some quiet time in the bar owner's office, innocently making out, which... essentially translated to doing so while keeping their hands on hips and around shoulders, rather than... under shirts, fondling chests or down pants, stimulating nether regions. Although, Cinder would absolutely be lying if she said that the thought of unbuttoning her girlfriend's work shirt and shoving her face into her cleavage did not cross her mind several times. Of course, if she had done that, there would have been no way in hell they could have stopped without fully banging right there in the older woman's office.

Eventually, Cinder figured it was about time to return to work, since Vernal had been out there alone the entire time, all while her coworker and boss were tongue-wrestling, as Yang would surely say. Unfortunately, the idea of separating did not make Raven too happy, given the adorable pout she tried to use in response.

"I dunno if I'm ready to let you leave just yet." She informed, keeping her grip on the younger woman's hips, before leaning in to plant a few kisses along her neck.

As much as Cinder wanted to let things continue, because it felt good, she knew that she could not just leave Vernal alone for that long. So, letting out a chuckle, she tilted Raven's head up in order to peck her on the cheek, offering a smile. "We can play after work." She promised, finally dismounting her girlfriend and standing up.

Raven just rolled her eyes. "You just love usin' that line against me, huh?"

As she walked across the office, Cinder turned back, slyly grinned, and shrugged. "You only have yourself to blame for using it first." She reminded, thinking back to their first date, where she had been denied her urges due to being rather intoxicated.

"Sounds like someone's askin' for a spanking." Raven warned, smirking.

Cinder chuckled again, knowing for a fact that her girlfriend was fully aware she would enjoy every second of that, seeing as she already had several times. Though, none of which had been in her office... yet. Perhaps one day. "Rave, you can do whatever you want to me when we get home, but until then, we both have work to do."

Raven only groaned, clearly disappointed that they were not going to continue. "Alright, alright, fine, but you'd better be waiting in the bedroom when I get home."

Cinder leveled a smirk at the older woman, a bit excited to think about just what was going to be done to her once the couple were back in their apartment. "of course, I'll get myself ready, mommy."

The slightest hint of a blush quickly made its way onto Raven's face. "Okay, get outta here before I drag your ass back into my lap."

Cinder let out a giggle at the 'threat', even though it was nothing of the sort. "Yes, boss." She decided, turning around to exit the office. "I'll see you after work."

Raven just rolled her eyes again, but still smiled. "Sounds good." She agreed, before shifting her focus to her computer screen. "Love ya."

Cinder immediately froze upon hearing that, her eye widening. Wait a minute. Slowly turning around to face her girlfriend again, who was now focused on her computer work, she felt her mouth drop open a bit. "Rave, you... love me?"

Looking over from her work, Raven was quiet for a time, simply staring at the younger woman, probably thinking about her answer, until she nodded. "Yeah, I do. I love you, Cin." She confidently declared, offering a warm smile.

Cinder remained silent at the answer, unable to believe her ears. She... never thought that she would ever hear those words again... after Emerald... much less from someone as beautiful and amazing as Raven, the literal woman of her dreams... Eventually, the raw emotions became overwhelming, and she felt tears start to pool in her eye, her lip quivering a bit.

"Oh, shit, you okay?" Raven quickly asked, jumping up from her chair and rushing over to her girlfriend. "Did I overstep, or... is that movin' too fast?" She continued, reaching up to gently take hold of the younger woman's face. Rather than verbally responding, Cinder only stared up at her for a few moments, tears in her eye, before she just decided to fuck it, throwing her arms around Raven's midsection, and burying her face in her chest as she began to quietly sob.

"I love you too, Rave..."

"Wait, you wanna go out now? Like, right now?"

From her place atop her girlfriend's chest, while the two cuddled comfortably on their bed, Weiss nodded. "So long as you're up for it, yes." She confirmed, since they both had the day off, before pausing for a moment. "I'm not sure what exactly we could do, or where we could go, but I'm fine with anything as long as it's with you."

Yang let out a chuckle. "You're just a bundle of love today, aren't ya, Weissy?" She teased, thinking about the destination possibilities of what would technically be a date. Then she got an idea. "How 'bout Vale's Wonderland then?"

Weiss only smiled down at the blonde. "That sounds wonderful."

Yang immediately quirked a brow. Wait a minute. "Did you just make a pun?"

Weiss just shrugged, her smile remaining strong. "Perhaps."

Yang stared up at her girlfriend for a second, before fully laughing, pulling her close. "And you wonder why I'm so gods damn attracted to you." She commented, peppering her cheeks with kisses, eliciting an adorable giggle.

"Shall we get ready then?" Weiss inquired, half-pushing herself up from her position atop the blonde.

"Sounds like a plan!" Yang grinned, as the couple got up off the bed, which... admittedly took a few tries, since they were fairly comfortable on the mattress. Once they were eventually up, it was time to get changed out of their pyjamas, in separate rooms of course. When they began dating, Weiss had expressed that she was completely comfortable changing in the same room, and on one hand, so was Yang, but on the other... she wanted her first time seeing her girlfriend naked - or in her underwear for that matter - to be special. So, she explained that concern, and thankfully, it was quickly understood. No discussion needed, and they began changing in different rooms, until such a time when they were ready to take that certain, intimate step.

Once the pair was good and ready, both of them clad in comfortable casual wear, they were off, but of course, not before encountering Neo, who was on the living area couch, drawing away, as usual. They informed her of their plans, and while she was a bit disappointed to hear that they would be leaving her home alone, she understood that it was technically their first date. So, before the two got completely ready to go, she offered an... interesting sendoff.

Have fun you crazy kids.

While Weiss chuckled at the bizarre message, Yang... had a different reaction. Seeing it caused her to remember that the mute was actually ten years older than her, which was... a weird fact to think about, because even knowing that, it was incredibly difficult to see. Hell, that woman looked like she could fit in at a high school and not seem out of the ordinary. Well, aside from the multicoloured hair and eyes. That was sure to make her stand out a little. Then another realization hit the blonde as she continued that train of thought.

Wait, does that mean she could technically be milf-age?

Though before Yang could think anymore about that, Neo typed up another message, this one specifically for Weiss.

Just make sure to have her home by dinner time.

The other two could not help but laugh at the request, given how it was such a quite a contrast to how she had acted since she began staring at their apartment. I guess havin' her own pillow and anime-themed blanket really helped her feel more at home. Yang thought to herself. Even if she is still sleeping on a couch.

Once the pair had calmed down, it was time to say goodbye, for the afternoon. They each gave Neo a big hug before donning their shoes, making sure that she would be alright, as well as she could call them if she needed anything at all. Of course the mute attempted to argue that they were going on a date, and she did not want to bother them, but they both assured her that they could always just go out again another day. Besides, the pair would much rather have to reschedule an impromptu date than leave her alone when she needed them. In response, Neo smiled, telling them via typed message that she had been feeling a little better the past few days since having more of her belongings. It was really nice to hear... or technically see.

After that, the couple was off to Vale's Wonderland, one of, if not the largest amusement park in the country. It was a bit long of a ride, given how their destination was outside the city, but it was becoming a beautiful afternoon, which meant they could enjoy the trip. Especially Yang, since she got the pleasure of feeling her girlfriend's arms snaked around her midsection, body pressed up against her own, head resting on her upper back... She felt so loved sometimes... Well, actually, pretty much all the time.

Upon arriving at the park, the pair... was honestly not sure what to do first. Neither of them had been there in close to a year, and things... looked a little different. Plus, it was quite a different feeling to be their as girlfriends, rather than just friends, and in a group. So, happily hand in hand, they simply decided to walk around and see what they could find, and by no surprise, they ended up in line for a roller coaster first, Yang's favourite. Of course, since the park was so large, there was an incredible variety of different rides to choose from, but at the same time, lines were long due to the nice weather, which meant they had choose carefully in order to get to other things later, like food and souvenir shopping.

And so they did, using a map that Weiss had picked up when they arrived to make their way through the park, stopping at each ride that caught their attention. Roller coasters, swinging-type rides, bumper cars, spinning rides, and even a couple extreme thrill rides. Although, after those ones, the pair decided to move on, since Weiss nearly threw up from riding one rather intense attraction: the tea cups. That one seemed to be a bit too much for her. The only thing area that they did not end up spending some time in was the water park. Though that was only because neither of them thought to bring their bathing suits. Oh well. Perhaps another time.

Once Weiss was feeling better, it was time for churros, at Yang's suggestion of course. Her girlfriend let slip that she had never had one before, and she had to rectify that. So, the blonde purchased one for each of them, as well as a couple bottles of water, and the two found a nice bench in the shade to enjoy their food. Though, if she was being honest, Yang was a bit nervous that Weiss was not going to like the churro, but thankfully, those worries were quickly alleviated the moment the first bite was taken, given the absolutely adorable noise that escaped the shorter woman. Then, not a few moments later, Weiss was practically devouring the fried food, which only made Yang smile, so happy that she was able to say that she was her girlfriend.

Gods, how lucky am I?

"Hey... Yang?" Suddenly came Weiss' voice, pulling the other woman from her thoughts.

"What's up?" Yang wondered, swallowing a piece of her churro.

"May I ask you something?" Weiss inquired.

"Of course, ask away." Yang nodded with a smile.

"When you were younger... What did you want to do when you grew up?" Weiss almost-hesitantly continued. "I myself... only wanted to make my father proud, to inherit the company when he was ready to retire, but... those times are gone now..." Then she let out a sigh. "I have years of training to take over a company, yet nothing to really do with it now. I'm still interested in business, but I'm unsure of what to put it towards..."

Yang did not even have to think about her answer, as ever since she was a child, there was only one thing she ever strived to be... One person... she strived to follow. "I... used to want to be like Summer, y'know, a chef, but... I dunno what I wanna do anymore..." She admitted, gaze falling to the ground in front of them. "I mean the desire is still there, I love cooking, especially for other people, but after high school... after Blake... I lost all the passion and drive to actually... work towards anything..."

Weiss was quiet for a brief time, probably thinking about her girlfriend's answer, until she smiled. "Well, answer me this then, yes or no. Do you want to be a chef, like Summer?"

Yang paused for a moment, before nodding a bit. "Yeah, I do."

Weiss' smile only grew upon hearing that. "Then let's do it."

Yang just blinked, not exactly sure what to think. What... did she mean by that? Did Weiss... want her to properly pursue her dream? Actually... doing something with her life? "But what if... What if I can't handle it? 'Cause I dunno... if I'd be able to..."

Rather than verbally responding, Weiss merely reached over to gently take hold of her girlfriend's hand, keeping her warm, beautiful smile strong. "You absolutely can, Yang. I know you can. Of course, if you're truly worried, don't forget that I'll be there by your side, every step of the way. You'll never be alone in this."

After a few moments of silence, staring down at their connected hands, Yang managed a smile of her own. "Ignoring if I've said it before, but I love having you in my life, always have really. It was nice to have a friend I could count on, but... having a girlfriend, like, a real one... I still kinda don't believe it sometimes." Then her smile partially faded. "Y'know, I've never really been good at handling tough spots... like the one with Neo... I honestly have no idea what to do half the time, even though I was... dating her, kinda. But... you always seem to have the right answer for every problem..."

That last sentence seemed to cause Weiss to realize something. "Yang... May I ask you a question?"

Yang simply nodded. "Shoot."

Weiss was quiet for a moment, seemingly thinking about how to bring it up. "Do you... still love Neo?"

Ever since she had encountered the mute again during their trip to the mall, when her then-friend got her hair cut, Yang was afraid of that question coming up. After all, Weiss was aware of how... difficult that breakup was. "I... don't know..." She admitted. "I mean, I still care about her and stuff, but she still dumped me pretty harshly... and you know how much that hurt me... I never really got over that hurt, it just... piled up on all the other hurt and made me feel even more like shit. But now... none of that matters to me. I'm in a good place because of you, and Neo's in a pretty bad place, and by helping her... I'm being the bigger person..." Then Yang realized something herself. "So... how do... you feel about Neo?" She awkwardly inquired.

"I will be honest, I dislike her intensely for hurting you, Yang, and when you first informed me that you had offered assistance to her, I was... exceptionally unhappy, and quite resistant to aid you in helping her." Weiss admitted. "I even considered asking you to have her stay somewhere else, but I knew that would have been unfair. In the end, the only thing that mattered was that I supported you, that I will always support you. As well, the more time I spend with her, the more I have begun to see in Neo, fears and insecurity that I myself have suffered in the past. So I have come to empathize with her, and only hope that I can do my part in getting her back on her feet."

It was at that moment, that Yang realized something else. Something that even since the mute had begun staying with them, never really crossed her mind, possibly because it was never a question until right now.

"Weiss... What are we gonna do if... Neo never wants to leave?"

How was it that Blake was able to make it halfway across the world, but was now too scared to depart from her hotel room? Although, the mere fact that she had even made it to Vale alone in the first place, without her fiancé or mother there for moral support, was almost beyond her.

Unfortunately, as much as she might like to, Blake could not just sit there in the hotel room all day long, because she did not fly all the way from Menagerie for just a vacation this time. No, she had a proper reason for coming, one that... honestly terrified her... but... it was something must be done, because... After being the one that fucked everything up in the first place... she had been hiding from it for far too long. Or more accurately, she had been hiding from her... the friendship she destroyed... for far too long...

Perhaps I should've let mom come with me...

Sadly, it was a bit too late for that now. The older Faunus had offered to join her on the trip, but in a stupid burst of overconfidence in her abilities, Blake promised that she would be able to do it herself. Now, fast forward a few days, and past a thirteen-hour flight, an awkward hotel check-in, a shower, and getting ready, she was stuck sitting on the bed, arms tightly hugging her legs to her stomach, severely regretting that decision. As expected, without anyone there to... stabilize her, for lack of a better term, Blake's anxiety was beginning to spiral again, as it had a tendency to do in tough situations, and there was nothing she could do about it. No one there that she could turn to for help.

I wish I let mom come with me...

Although... There was still a way that she could get some assistance, given how there was currently no way in hell that she was making it out of the hotel room, much less to where she needed to go. So, extending her legs over the side of the bed to sit normally, Blake reached into her pocket and pulled out her scroll, switching the device on and going to her contacts, until she found that which belonged her mother, and pressed the Call button. She listened to the ringing tone. Once, twice... Then came a click, signifying that the call had been accepted. Thank gods.

"Hello, Blake." Kali happily greeted, which felt really good to hear right now. "How are things? Did you make it to the hotel safely?"

Blake nodded, even though her mother would obviously not see it. "Yeah, yeah... The trip went fine... I just... needed someone to talk to..."

There was a slight pause. "Is everything alright, Kitten?" Kali inquired, a bit of worry creeping into her voice.

"I..." Blake began, though not getting far. She ended up only sighing. "I'm scared, mom."

"What of, sweetheart?"

"Of... seeing her... Seeing Yang." Blake shamefully admitted, feeling the need to curl up into a ball again. "After what I did... I feel like when I get there... it'll be a disaster... a-and... she'll yell at me about leaving so abruptly, breaking her heart... ruining our relationship..." She could already feel her lip quivering as she spoke, hands beginning to shake, wanting nothing more than to cry.

"Shh... There there, my sweet little Kitten..." Kali soothed, as best as she could over a scroll call. "I understand that your situation is quite a difficult one, but it as not as hopeless as you think. I myself actually went through a similar experience when I was a little younger than your current age. You know our current High Priestess, Sienna Khan?"

Blake nodded again, even though once again, it would go unseen. "Yeah." She simply answered, knowing that she and her mother had known each other since high school, but grew apart sometime after, before reconnecting when they moved back to Menagerie. Blake herself had never really had that many interactions with her, though she seemed pleasant enough, if a little intimidating in both personality and status.

"Well, when we were in high school, she was... in love with me, and I cared for her a great deal as well. We even dated for a time, and while that is a period of my life that I will cherish forever, my heart always truly belonged to Ghira." Kali explained, a hint of sadness in her voice. "Of course, when I properly realized this, I... had to break up with her, which was... an immensely difficult decision. I attempted to remain friends with her, but... Sienna was hurt far beyond what I expected, and... we stopped talking not long after."

Kali let out a sigh. "I felt like I had ruined everything that we had together, and though I wished so dearly to get back in contact with her... I could not gather the courage to do so." She admitted. "It was not until many years later, after Ghira and I had married, you were born, and we had moved from and back to Menagerie that I was finally able to reach out to her again, even though I was scared of what she would say. Following that was a painful talk about how we both could have handled things better when we were younger, and now... We're closer than ever before." Then Kali paused. "Platonically-speaking of course. I am still married." She quickly added with a slight chuckle. "Anyways, my point is, while it is understandable for you to be afraid of confronting Yang after so long, I promise, you have nothing to fear, because she wants to see you too."

Blake was silent for a time, as her mother's words echoed in her mind. While unfortunately it did not exactly make her feel better, it at least calmed her down enough to avoid a full-on panic attack. So... that was something. If she was being honest, Blake was more surprised to hear that her mother had dated Menagerie's High Priestess... and that she was into women at all. Though before she could even respond, it seemed that the older Faunus had more to say to her.

"Oh! It seems that someone would like to speak with you." Kali informed, a bit to her daughter's confusion. Is it dad? Blake thought to herself as she listened to the scroll being passed to someone else.

"Hey, butt buddy, what's crackin?" Came her fiancé's cheerful voice from the other side of the call, causing Blake to smile.

"Oh my, I wasn't aware you two were into that sort of thing." Kali commented from what sounded like across the room.

Blake just sighed at the inappropriately-interpreted greeting. "I want a divorce."

"But we're not even married yet!" Sun amusingly whined.

"How unfortunate." Blake deadpanned, thankful that they were not on a video call, as she could not stop a slight smile from spreading across her face. "So what are you doing at my parents' house?"

Suddenly, the sound of her mother's scroll moving through the air was heard. "Tea and cookies!" Kali beamed, likely having half-stolen her scroll back.

Blake only rolled her eyes. "Of course."

Another sound of the scroll moving through the air. "So how goes your mission, Black Cat?" Sun asked, his voice deeper, as if trying to sound like a secret agent from one of those action movies he loved so much. What a dork. "Did you make contact with Yellow Dragon yet?"

Blake managed a small smile, but it quickly faded. "Not yet, I'm... still at the hotel... Haven't even called a Ryde yet..."

Sun merely hummed on the other side of the call. "Still worried about how it'll go, huh... What if you- nah... Or how 'bout... Hm..." The line went quiet for a few moments, as her fiancé seemingly continued to think. "Oh! I got it! I'll give you permission to make out with her! Y'know, to make up for high school and stuff! One free make-out pass! If you want it of course!" Sun excitedly offered.

Blake felt her mouth drop open a bit upon hearing that. Was she hearing that right? Her fiancé... wanted her to make out with her still-ex-friend and former-crush... No. She was not even going to consider it, and not just because she was engaged. "Absolutely not, Sun. I just want to be able to talk to her." Then a thought came to her mind. Wait a minute. "You just want to think of us making out." After all, e has agreed that Yang is quite attractive.

"Hey, it's just a suggestion!" Sun quickly defended. "How do we know it won't do somethin' to help you both?"

Blake just let out a sigh. "Why did I agree to marry you?"

Sun only laughed at the question. "You were kinda drunk, so technically I coerced you a bit."

Blake rolled her eyes again, glancing down at the golden ring on her finger, smiling a bit. "And somehow, I'm still here."

Sun hummed again. "Maybe you're still drunk, do you have alcohol poisoning? I hear it's not great."

Blake actually managed a slight chuckle. "Perhaps I should just drink a bunch before I go." She considered, looking over at her room's bar fridge. It would be overpriced as hell, but probably worth it. "Would definitely help with the nerves."

"Thought you said you weren't gonna make out with her?" Sun wondered.

"I don't think throwing up on her will help." Blake countered, knowing that was usually the result of her drinking too much.

"Sounds like a good conversation piece to me!" Sun beamed, likely grinning.

"You're a terrible influence." Blake groaned, though she still smiled.

"I'm your only influence!" Sun reminded.

"Excuse me, future son-in-law!" Came her mother's voice from what sounded like another room, judging by how far away it was.

Sun just nervously chuckled. "Sorry, Kal!" He called away from the scroll. "Okay, only influence minus mom and dad."

Blake managed another slight chuckle, before sighing. "What am I going to do, Sun? I somehow made it here, but I've been sitting in this hotel room for over an hour. How am I supposed to actually get myself over to Yang's apartment?" If I can even leave this room.

"Well, normal people walk, but you could call a taxi!" Sun happily suggested.

Of course he- "I didn't mean literally, smartass." Blake shot. "I just... I don't know if I can really do this. It was hard enough talking to her over a scroll call when she wasn't drunk enough to forget the whole thing afterwards, but... to be in the same room after all this time? I don't... Should I just come home? Maybe you could go with me next time..."

Apparently, that was not going to sit with Sun. "Uh-uh, no take backs. You're there now, you gotta do it. You're gonna make Yang your Maid of Honour, remember?"

Oh, right... Blake had been so nervous ever since she had left their home for their airport, that she completely forgot that she and her fiancé already discussed that idea. "I know, I know, I just... I'm not sure if I can do this alone... We haven't seen each other since high school, before I left her without even saying goodbye..."

"And this time you will." Sun assured, probably with that handsome smile of his. "This time you're gonna talk, you're gonna work this all out, and eventually, it'll all be behind you. You just gotta take that next step."

Blake was quiet for a moment. "But what if... she hates me for what I did? What if... this just goes like how it did with Ruby's wife? A-And... berates me for destroying our friendship..."

Sun only snorted. "Since when has Yang ever hated anyone? You know she's as big of a softy as you are."

Blake nodded out of instinct. "Yes, I know, but... I hurt her so much, Sun..."

"You hurt yourself too, Blake." Sun reminded.

"At least that's easier to deal with..." Blake mumbled.

"There's always the make-out pass!" Sun likely grinned, much to the annoyance of his fiancé.

"Gods, Sun, I'm not going to make out with her!" Blake firmly decided. What's gotten into him today? "I'll be lucky if we even get through an entire conversation without one of us running away..."

"What with the strong urge to make out." Sun excitedly added.

Blake just sighed. "How about I focus on talking to her first? Then maybe later we can discuss... other things..." Gods, I can't believe I'm even considering it.

That seemed to be acceptable... enough. "Good, Motivation! Goals! Things adults should have! We're adults, right?"

Somehow. "Yeah, but some of us more than others." Blake answered.

"I'm sensing a burn here, but I'm too numb to absorb it." Sun commented.

Blake managed a giggle. "Dork."

"You love it." Sun declared, rather proudly.

Blake could not help roll her eyes, as a smile spread across her face. "I love you." She reciprocated, wishing that her fiancé could be there with her now. It had been less than a day and she already missed him like crazy.

"Aw, love you too!" Sun beamed.

Suddenly, her mother's words echoed in her mind once again. It was not long before she realized... the older Faunus was right. Memories of her call with the blonde a little while ago started flooding back into her mind. Wait... Yang... did want to see her... So, Blake took a deep breath. "I... think I'm feeling a little better now. Thank you, Sun. As always, you've helped more than I thought was possible."

Sun let out a chuckle in response. "I'm just full of surprises hey?"

Blake chuckled as well. "More than usual." She agreed. "You must just miss me."

Sun fully laughed at the guess. "How can I not? Without you here my ego's growing larger and larger, I don't think I can take it!"

For the first time in over a day, Blake felt herself smirk. "Well then, I suppose I'll have to knock you down a peg or two when I get back."

"But my precious ego!" Sun whined.

"I'm sure it'll survive." Blake assured.

"You'll have to make it up to me with some serious cuddling!" Sun warned.

Blake only giggled, happy to know what was waiting for her when she returned to Menagerie. "You got it."

"Now go get your friend back!" Sun ordered, likely with a huge grin on his face.

"I'll try." Blake promised, to which her fiancé just became more excited that she was finally getting off her ass. Both metaphorically and literally in this particular case.

"That's the spirit!"
