Hey guys, I hope ya'll enjoy this fanfic. I don't have a beta, so all mistakes are mine.

Hikaru sat staring absentmindedly out the window, he shifted his weight in the chair, making it a little more comfortable to sit.

"Mr. Hitachiin, I see that I'm boring you with today's subject." A voice cracked like a whip, sending Hikaru out of his thoughts.

Hikaru glanced at his twin who was giving him a worried look before turning his attention back to his teacher, "no sir, Mr. Fukuda." He said in an even voice.

"Then, would you care to explain why you have decided to not pay attention? Or, why you've ignored me when I called your name three times?" Mr. Fukuda snarled. "Or perhaps, you'd like to visit Mr. Furuya again. I hear that you were just at his office this morning."

Hikaru's lip snarled, "maybe if you kept your nose out of. Ow!" His head snapped around, "what was that for?"

"Stop talking, for once in your life." Haruhi glared at him.

"Did you really need to hit me on the back of the head though?" He snapped back, "what does it matter to you what happens to me."

"Hikaru," Kaoru whispered. He stared wide-eyed at his twin, he was used to his brother's outbursts, but today seemed to be different. Ever since they left the house this morning, his brother had been agitated and just downright rude.

"Mr. Hitachiin, if you do not settle down, you will be visiting Mr. Furuya." Mr. Fukuda warned, his voice was low and threatening.

"Screw you!" Hikaru slammed his fist down on the desk, he shot out of his chair, accidentally throwing it back into Haruhi. His eyes darted to Haruhi when she yelped in pain, it took a second for him to realize that it was he who had caused her the pain. Without waiting for a response from anyone, he dashed out the door and down the hall. Stupid, stupid, stupid. How can I be so stupid! Tears raced down his face as he ran. He wanted nothing more than to tell his brother about the strange car, about the man that's been following them. But how could he? He didn't want to worry his brother, he had a duty to protect his brother. "But, I can't!" He shouted as he made his way out of the building.

"Hikaru," Kaoru stared from Haruhi to their teacher and back to where Hikaru had just taken off. "I have to find him," he muttered to Haruhi. He took off after his brother, the teacher's shouts could be heard behind him. He didn't care how much trouble he'd get in, all he cared about was his brother.

"Karou wait," Haruhi raced after the twin. She hadn't known the twins for long, she'd only joined the host club a few months ago. But, those few months and been fun. The twins had become her friends, the entire club had become like her family. She wanted nothing more than to help her crush. She froze in fear what the sight that laid out in front of her. Three people dressed in all black were shoving the twins into a van. "HEY!" She shouted, running after the strangers. She didn't know what she would accomplish, but she had to do something. A wise person would have called security, but her brain seemed to have a mind of its own.

"Grab her," a gruff man's voice growled.

"Let me go," Haruhi cried out, as a pair of strong hands grabbed her. A cloth bag was shoved over her head, preventing her from seeing what was happening. Her capture threw her into the van, causing her to bump into one of the twins.

"Haruhi, what the hell are you doing here." Hikaru snapped at her.

"I was trying to save you." She whispered in freight.

"Yeah, like that worked out so well. You're a girl, it's not like you would be able to do anything." Hikaru's voice was lazed with venom but there was a hint of sadness in his voice. He was supposed to protect his brother, but yet...Yet he had failed. The people still managed not only to grab his brother, but also the girl he had fallen in love with. "I should have said something," he whispered. "I knew they were following us, I knew something was going to happen."

"What do you mean?" Kaoru asked.

"I noticed it two days ago, no matter where we went, they were there. When I was staring out the window today, they were there. I could have sworn I saw strangers in the hallway a time or two. I didn't want to believe they would do us harm. I didn't want to believe something bad would happen." He leaned against his brother, his hands were tied behind his back and he had a blindfold on. He knew he should feel frightened, but the close contact with his brother seemed to keep his mind straight.

"You didn't know they were going to do this, Hikaru." Kaoru played with the topes that bound his own hands. If he could manage to untie his ropes, he could free his brother and Haruhi. No matter how much he tried, the ropes refused to give. He gave a frustrated growl, then leaned against his twin.

"This can't be happening," Haruhi sniffled. "Why are they doing this, what do they want?" Tears rolled down her face at the thought of her father coming home to find his daughter missing. "I just wanna go home." More tears slid down her face, "this can't be happening, why are they doing this, I can't be here, I wanna go home." Her voice hitched, threatening to send her into a full-blown panic attack.

"Haruhi," Hikaru put his arm over the girl's shoulders. "Well get out of this, our parents will pay a ransom and we'll be back home."

Unfortunately for both Hikaru and Karou that did nothing to calm her down, it only seemed to make things worse. "My dad doesn't have the money. Oh God, I'm going to die, I'm going to die. Mydadalreadylostmymothernowi'mgoingtodie." Her words started running together, making it incoherent.

"SHUT THE HELL UP!" One of the kidnappers yelled. The shout yelled started Haruhi to quiet down, but it didn't stop the panic attack that seized her body.

"Haruhi, you need to calm down. It's going to be okay, our parents will pay for your ransom if it's asked." Kaoru turned in her direction to make it easier to talk. "Everything's going to be okay, just try..."

Kaoru's voice was cut off when the van slammed on its breaks. "I don't you brats to shut the hell up." The man killed the engine, then swung himself out of the van. He yanked open the back door, then started punching the first person he could reach. Unfortunately for them, it was Haruhi that he had hit. Her pained screams echoed throughout the van, causing both the twins to flinch.

"Leave her alone!" Hikaru shouted as he tried to fight against his binds.

"Oh, someone wanna be a tough guy?" The man grabbed Hikaru by the back of his neck, the man threw him out of the truck. Hikaru's body hit the concrete with a thud. He let out a pained gasp when his forehead made contact with the hard ground. "Not so tough, are you?" The man let out a wild laugh.

"Don't be beating them up too much, Daichi" Another man walked over to them, "we won't get as much money if they aren't in one piece."

"You're right, Akemi" The man stepped away from the boy. "I'll take him inside, you two can grab the others." Daichi grabbed Hikaru by the arm, then half dragged the boy into a building. "Listen here boy, your parents have 23 hours to get back to us with the ransom money. If they don't call us back, the three of you will be out back feeding the crows. Unforutnily for you, when we called they didn't answer so we had to leave a message. It's already been an hour, I doubt they'll call." He quickly cut the boy's ropes, then he shoved him into a small empty room. "This is your guy's home for the next 23 hours, enjoy." He let out another laugh as the other two kids were thrown in.

With his hands-free, Hikaru yanked off his blindfold. His eyes landed on Karou, the other boy was trying to untie his ropes to no avail. "Hold still, Karou I'll get them undone." He slowly stood up, his entire body was riddled with pain. Once he had gotten his brother untied and the blindfold off, he made his way over to Haruhi. He removed the clock over her face first, he let out a gasp at the sight. Her left eye was swollen shut, her nose was bleeding and there was a nasty gash on her lip. I'm going to kill them, I'll make them beg for mercy."

"They're going to kill us, aren't they?" She cried out, "we aren't going to get out of here. We're going to die here."

"NO!" Karou shouted, "we aren't going to die. We'll make it out alive. Our parents will come, we'll be set free and this whole thing will seem like it was all just a nightmare."

Back at the Ouran Academy

Police cars were parked throughout the school's parking lot, their lights and sirens seemed like something from a movie.

"They aren't going to find them, will they?" Hunny-senpai sniffled, he sat on the couch hugging his teddy bear.

"My father's men are out there right now trying to find them," Koya replied, he was sitting on one of the tables with his knees pulled to his chest.

"This can't be happening," Tamaki paced back and forth. "We should be out there looking for them."

"Looking for them won't do us any good," Yuzuru replied, his arms were over his chest, guarding the door of Music room 3 so the others wouldn't try to go looking for their friends. "Last thing we need is for the rest of you to get taken." He glanced around at the disheartened group, "we'll find the twins. We left a message with their parents, we're just waiting to hear back."

"What about Haruhi? She was also taken, we need to find her." Tamaki snapped at his father.

"As harsh as this will sound, the kidnappers never contacted her father. The only reason they took her is that she went after the kidnappers. We don't believe they'll let her leave."

Cliffhanger! I hope you guys enjoyed the first chapter.
