Author's Note: Approaching the finish line...

This visit was a long time coming.

For the first time in... over a year, Coco was going to see Velvet's grave, and she was nervous as hell. She had wanted to visit so many times since her soulmate died, but she always ended up chickening out, fearing that she would never leave. But things were different now. Coco had a real life again. She had friends. She had a family, reasons to continue living... Now that she had Pyrrha and Ruby as her better halves, she finally felt strong enough to go see Velvet, and not feel the need to get drunk just from thinking about it.

Just in case no one had been there in a while, the trio decided to bring some cleaning supplies along with a small bouquet of Velvet's favourite flowers: roses. When the Faunus was... alive, she never really cared for flowers overall, but eventually took a liking to roses after they started to become close friends with Pyrrha and Ruby. It was a rather odd coincidence now that Coco thought about it, given her new life situation. Perhaps it was a sign that without the fire, she and Velvet would have ended up with the Reds as a sort of quad, which even now was difficult to imagine.

When they finally arrived at the Faunus' grave, they found it was already relatively clean, so all that needed to be done was brush off some leaves before placing the flowers in the accompanying stone holder. After that... the three women fell to silence, at least until the older of the trio spoke up.

"I've... been coming here since she died... cleaning her grave." Pyrrha quietly admitted. "I couldn't just leave it to the elements."

"Thank you..." Coco near-whispered, wrapping the redhead in a tight, yet brief hug, before kneeling down at the foot of her previous partner's grave to silently recite a prayer, tears already in her eyes. Pyrrha and Ruby stood behind her, hands on her shoulders, in a silent promise that they were right there with her, no matter what. She would never have been able to do this without them.

While she knelt there, staring at the gravestone, Coco's mind went back to Velvet's funeral. Honestly, she barely even remembered it, having been in a shocked daze for most of that day. She had gone in and out of denial after the fire, but... seeing her soulmate's casket lowered into the grave was what finally, fully broke her. Coco just... could not handle it anymore. It was so bad that Pyrrha had to carry her back to their place. She stayed there for days, mostly unresponsive unless she was crying, barely eating, barely speaking... Eventually Coco decided to leave, with a half-baked promise that she would be fine. Pyrrha could not exactly stop her.

After that... her life was mostly a blur, thanks to the copious amount of alcohol she drank and cigarettes she smoked. For months and months, Coco thought of ending it all, letting the alcohol and smoking kill her. It certainly would have been easier. She had no energy, no motivation, everything felt pointless... All Coco wanted to do was to just stop feeling, but she could never bring herself to do it on purpose. It was not until she drunkenly fell down those stairs and broke her arm that things changed. Coco fell asleep, laying at the bottom, hoping that would her end, but she woke up in a hospital bed, with Pyrrha and Ruby by her side. They took her in again, not only saving her life, but eventually giving her a new one as part of their family. Those two gave her a reason to live again- no, reasons, and now she was truly happy, for the first time since before Velvet passed.

Thank you for bringing us closer to them, Velv. I'll never forget you, and may Fall guide you to greener pastures...

"Hey... remember that time a few years ago when Pyrrha brought back spicy candy from her home town?" Ruby quietly wondered, pulling the brunette from her thoughts.

Standing up and brushing off her knees, Coco could not help but smile at the memory. She remembered that Pyrrha did not really care for it, but their partners' reactions to it were priceless. "Yeah, that stuff was pretty good, but you two pansies couldn't take it."

While Ruby only managed an adorable pout, Pyrrha let out a chuckle. "Indeed. Velvet in particular spent the rest of the afternoon moaning that she was going to melt from the inside."

Coco quickly joined her older partner with a small chuckle of her own. "Then she and Rubes here drained your supply of milk, and we had to take an emergency trip for more, plus cookies for a certain someone." She added with a slight smirk, aimed at the younger woman, who only continued to pout. "Man, watchin' you two complain that your mouths were on fire for hours on end was so cute."

After a couple moments, Ruby ceased her pouting to shoot a grin at the brunette. "Oh yeah? Was it as cute as when Velv and I drunkenly made out last year?" She wondered, prompting raised eyebrows from her two partners.

"Wait, you remember that night?" Coco asked, extremely shocked. Ruby and Velvet had been near-blackout drunk near the end of the evening, so hearing that she actually recalled the events was a shock.

"Only bits and pieces, but us prodding you to let us all sleep together, and the making out came back later the next day." Ruby explained. "'Course I was way too embarrassed to admit Velv and I really did that, so I kept quiet."

Coco just blinked at first, before almost bursting out into laughter, which felt inappropriate. So, she stepped forward to wrap the younger woman in a tight hug. "Gods, you are so adorable, Rubes." She praised, holding her partner tight. A few moments later, she glanced over and found Pyrrha merely looking at them with a warm smile, prompting her to tilt her head towards her wife. "C'mon, Pyr, get in here." Coco requested, to which the redhead's smile grew, before she joined them, strong arms wrapping around them both. The trio remained there for a time, smiles fading, embrace tightening further, none of them wanting to let go.

"Is there anything that you wish to do today, Coco?" Pyrrha wondered, voice a bit shaky.

Honestly, there was only one thing Coco wanted to do. "I just... wanna spend a quiet day with you two, maybe order in from Velv's favourite Mistrali place later." She admitted, receiving a kiss on the head from Pyrrha.

"Nothing would make us happier, sweetheart."

Lot thirty, row seven, space eight.

Currently lingering on the edge of the graveyard, clutching Raven's hand like a lifeline, Cinder stared out into the sea of headstones, wondering if she could really go in. The anxiety had already set in before they even left the condo, but it had only gotten worse as they got closer. There was one part of her that wanted to just leave before she had a full panic attack, but Cinder knew that if she did not go through with this, then she would not be able to truly embrace the loss of her soulmate.

You can do this.

With a final deep breath, Cinder hesitantly led her partner through the rows of headstones. She had known exactly where... Emerald's grave was ever since she was buried, but never visited. Even now, she was not sure if she was really prepared to see her soulmate's name on that grave. Although, once they arrived, there was something a bit more shocking that the pair discovered. It pained Cinder so much to actually be seeing the name carved into the stone after a year of avoiding it, but the thing the never expected to see was... the fact that the grave was clean, like all the other ones in view. There was even fresh flowers in the accompanying stone holder.

"Wait, I thought you've never been here before. How's it so clean?" Raven wondered after a brief silence.

"I... don't know." Cinder admitted. It just was when they got there...

"Maybe the local church cleans the ones that don't get visited." Raven suggested with a shrug.

"Perhaps..." Cinder mumbled, merely staring down at the gravestone, and reaching up with her free hand to idly fiddle with the half-melted ring on her necklace. The one that Emerald was going to propose to her with...

"Hey, I'm right here with you, Cin." Raven promised, gently squeezing her partner's hand.

"Thank you, Rave, but... I think I want to be alone for a little while..." Cinder requested.

Raven was quiet for a moment, before warmly smiling, leaning over to plant a simple kiss on the younger woman's cheek. "No problem, hun. I'll go for a walk. I love you."

"I love you too..." Cinder murmured as her partner walked away. Once the older woman was gone, she just... stood there, staring at the headstone, wishing that she could have come to pay her respects long ago. She wondered... what the funeral was like... who attended, and... what they might have said... Most of all, she hoped that the ceremony gave Emerald as much respect as she deserved.

"I'm sorry I couldn't save you..." Cinder eventually managed to her soulmate's grave, tears quickly pooling in her eye, lip quivering. "I'm sorry for my short temper, for not being good enough for someone as amazing as you, for... f-for not loving you sooner..." She continued, tears streaming down her cheek. "I'm sorry for being a coward when we were together, and... for nearly killing myself after you were gone... I hurt myself over and over again, even though you would have never wanted me to be in pain, but... I thought it was better to feel nothing than to deal with all the grief I held after I lost you. Most of all... I apologize for not coming to see you sooner..."

Then Cinder paused for a time, reaching up to wipe some tears away. "But I... I was able to meet someone earlier this year... H-Her name is Raven, and... Well, she saved my life." She managed a smile. "I think that you would really like her, and she would like you too... I think you would like everyone from our little family... Nora and Yang, my best friends... Weiss, Ruby, Pyrrha, Vernal... Even Neo seems to have changed for the better, as difficult as that is to believe."

Cinder was silent for a while, continuing to stare at her soulmate's grave, tears not really stopping. There was so many things that she could say, so much to apologize for, but... there was one other thing she needed to say. "Thank you... for everything... You will always be in my heart, Emmy."

After a little while, Cinder decided to call her partner back, and the pair spent a bit of silent time simply paying their respects. Though during that period, the younger woman reached up to fiddle with her ring again, but ended up taking it off and holding it out in front of her. She had kept it around her neck for nearly a year now, and as much as it meant to her... it was a symbol of a past relationship. It anchored her to the past, almost preventing her from truly moving forward. So... perhaps it was time to let it go...

"Rave... I... I think I want to leave this here." Cinder eventually admitted, not taking her eye off the ring. "But I'm afraid that it may be stolen if I do."

Raven looked over at the half-melted piece of jewelry in her partner's free hand. "Could always bury it. That way it'd be safe, and... kinda be with her."

It would... be with her... Cinder repeated in her head. Perhaps that would be the only way to properly leave her ring there. Slowly kneeling down to the ground, Cinder reached out, but paused, unsure if she should really do this. Eventually, she continued anyway, despite the uncertainty, digging into the dirt with her fingers. As she dug, Cinder wondered how deep she would have to go before the ring was truly safe, and... gods, how manic she must look to be digging into a grave. But that did not matter to her, nothing else around her did. After almost a year, Cinder was getting her own little funeral for her soulmate. The piece of Emerald that she had carried for months on end, right next to her heart, was finally going to be buried along with her.

Once she had filled in the hole, Cinder wiped the dirt off of her hands, but could not stand up. Instead, she only managed to lie down and curl up on the grave, head next to the stone marker. And for the first time since her death, she felt closer to Emerald...

Goodbye, my love...

"Hey, you okay?" Raven wondered, kneeling down to place a hand on her partner's shoulder.

Cinder nodded a bit from her place on the ground. "Yes, I was only... saying goodbye." She managed, eventually getting up, and walking into the older woman's arms, quickly feeling tears well up in her eye, her lip quivering. "Thank you for coming with me today... I love you so much..."

"I love you too, Cin." Raven almost whispered, wrapping her arms around the younger woman, pulling her close.

Cinder just let herself cry, feeling like a weight had been lifted off her chest.

"If you could be anything in the world, what would it be, Yang?"

The blonde just blinked at the sudden question from her girlfriend, not expecting something so... well, heavy while the pair were simply relaxing, watching television. Unfortunately, she did not have an answer for that question, because... she had no idea where to start. Even when she was young, Yang never thought much about the future, and whenever she was asked about it, she would say I just live in the moment. Sure, she had dreams, but... after high school, none of them really mattered. She was happy to work at her mom's bar. It was a simple life, but a fulfilling one.

"Why d'you ask?" Yang eventually asked, realizing that she had not answered her partner yet.

"Well, I've been thinking recently... We're at good points in our lives, Neo is settled in and happy as our roommate, but... I feel as though we could be doing more." Weiss explained, much to the confusion of the other woman.

"What do you mean?" Yang wondered, quirking a brow as she glanced down at her girlfriend, who was still snuggled up under her arm.

"Before I ran away, I had my entire life prepared for me. I was being groomed to eventually take over the SDC, but even now, I have yet to truly use all those skills I learned over the years." Weiss continued. "Look, we've both been in near-dead-end jobs for a long time, and I just think... we should take steps to really move forward with our lives, and in doing so, I want to help you pursue your dream, whatever it may be."

Yang's gaze fell upon hearing that. "I uh... I dunno, Weiss. I never liked big changes, and I'm comfortable with my life. I'm happy where I am right now." She admitted, looking elsewhere. "Doin' something like that would completely change things, change what people expect of me, what I've gotta accomplish... and... I don't think I've got enough faith in myself to do it."

Shifting her position so that she could look her girlfriend in the eyes, Weiss offered a warm smile. "Even if that's true, I have have enough faith for both of us." She promised, leaning in to plant a kiss on the blonde's cheek. "You can do anything you set your mind to."

Before Yang could open her mouth to respond, the slight squeak of the apartment's second bedroom door was heard, and a pyjama-clad Neo emerged from her newly-carpeted room... after a solid six hours without coming out for anything but to pee. At least as far as the other two knew. The mute walked into the living area with an empty snack bowl, signaling that she was only out for a refill, but stopped when she noticed the couple's expressions.

What are you two chatting about out here? Neo wondered via her text-to-speech.

"Oh, just uh... future stuff I guess." Yang awkwardly answered, not really sure what to say.

Like a zombie plan? Neo inquired, placing her empty bowl on the kitchen counter before re-entering the living area.

Weiss let out a slight chuckle. "No, this is about our future should society not fall victim to the hubris of science."

Neo quirked a brow. Oh yeah? What about your future?

"Well, I am considering continuing my education, as I dislike being idle. It's just not comfortable for me." Weiss informed.

Tired of selling ice cream, huh? Neo smirked, earning an eyeroll from the other short woman. What about you, Yang?

The blonde was quiet for a moment, still unsure what to say. "Weiss told me that she wants us to move forward with our lives, but I dunno where to go. I honestly never thought about making it any further than where I'm at now. Hell, this is actually past where I thought I'd be, thanks to you two."

Neo reached up to stroke her chin in a semi-dramatic fashion. I always figured I'd be either famous or dead by now. She commented with a shrug. Want some more input?

Yang shared a look with Weiss, not expecting the offer. "Guess it couldn't hurt." The former answered.

Neo just grinned, walking over and plopping down on the couch next to the cuddling couple with a thump. Now let me tell you a story, young ones. She began, causing the other two to roll their eyes, while Weiss adjusted her position to sit next to her girlfriend. I gained a love for art at a young age, which eventually came with a love for art history. Got a masters in art history from a local university, but once I had my degree, I had no idea what to do. Neo explained, much to the shock of the pair, as they had no idea she went that far in her education. My first idea was becoming a museum curator, since I'd essentially get paid to be around my favourite things, but I realized that I just liked seeing and learning about them, and getting into the career was going to be pretty expensive and annoying. So, I got into drawing art online, doing commissions and stuff to earn money, and found I liked doing that a lot more. Which led me to making that my full-time job instead, and keeping art history as a hobby. Then once I got popular, I was approached by a local animation company to do concept art, and that became a second job.

Neo paused for a moment. Yang, what's one thing that you've always found interest in?

Yang took a second to think about that. "I dunno honestly. I guess I've always been good at cooking, and always loved doin' it."

Well, ever considered cooking as a career? Neo inquired.

"Like, bein' a chef?" Yang wondered.

Exactly like being a chef. Neo nodded with a smile.

"I mean... I thought about it as a kid, but never seriously considered it." Yang admitted. "And I know I cook well, but I don't think it's anything special."

"Yang, I've dined in some of the highest-rated restaurants in Remnant, and I still prefer your food." Weiss encouraged with a warm smile, placing a hand on her girlfriend's shoulder.

I can't say the same about the restaurants, but your food is some of the best shit I've ever tasted in my life. Neo agreed with an equally-warm smile. Seriously, I'm surprised I'm not fat yet. She added, earning a couple small chuckles.

"Perhaps you could speak with Summer about getting a job in that field." Weiss suggested.

Upon hearing that, Yang suddenly started feeling a little anxious. She had been getting by, going with the flow for years, so hearing about a new path that if followed, she would be locked into, was scary. "I dunno, Weiss... I don't think I'm cut out for anything bigger than what I'm doin' now. Sure, I like to cook, and people like what I make, but mom built her life around it, while I... haven't really do anything with myself."

Neo then firmly nudged the blonde's shoulder, drawing her attention. Come on, Yang, I've seen art around the internet that's far better than my own, and back when I started, I wasn't sure I could make it with people like that already out there. But I kept going anyway, and now it's my job.

"And I never realized how incompetent I was until I moved here, and was trying to fend for myself." Weiss added. "Vernal wasn't very tidy, but she lived fairly simply, and had been doing it for years. I was so used to having everything in that area handed to me that I had no idea what I was doing. It took months to properly learn everything I needed to function on my own." Then she looked her partner right in the eyes. "But one thing you are not, is incompetent. If you want to be a chef, then you can absolutely do that. Just last week, I watched you put together a thirty-ingredient stir fry from memory."

Yang was silent, unsure of how to respond. Even with her mountain of doubts, they were still so confident in her... "Are you both... sure I can really do it?"

Weiss smiled. "I would bet my life on it." She promised, while Neo simply gave her a bright smile and a double thumbs up.

Yang only reached up to bury her face in her hands at the answer. "Fuck." She managed after a brief silence. Then she stopped to think for a moment. Being a real chef would... honestly be amazing, even though the idea of working towards it was nerve-wracking, but... there was also one thing that she used to dream about... "Y'know, I've kinda always wanted to own a little restaurant... the kind that could throw birthday parties for kids with free food and stuff..." Yang admitted. "I told Summer about it when I was younger, but... once I got older and my life sorta revolved around Blake, I dropped it as a childish dream. Then when Haragiri released last year, I got inspired again, but I was already workin' at the bar, so I gave that idea up. Part of the reason I loved that show was 'cause I would've loved to work at a place like that."

Weiss we quiet for a brief time, possibly considering what her girlfriend was saying. Then she just smiled. "So let's do it."

Yang blinked at the response. "What?"

"Let's open a restaurant together." Weiss clarified, smile not fading one bit. "You would go to culinary school, for the qualification, reputation, as well as the networking opportunities, and I would get a proper business degree from a university. We could even continue to live here through it all, since there are good schools in the city."

Yang could not believe her ears. "But... A-Are you sure?"

"Absolutely." Weiss nodded.

Yang could feel tears pooling in her eyes, before she quickly leaned forward to wrap her wonderful girlfriend in a tight hug. "I love you so much." She proclaimed, holding her partner close, planting several kisses on her closest cheek. Then after a few moments, she realized something. Pulling back, a huge grin spread across her face. "We could call it Schneelongs!"

Weiss' smile immediately disappeared the second she heard that. "Absolutely not." She very firmly refused, which earned a chuckle from the blonde, and a text-to-speech message from Neo.

Would I get free nachos?

It was beginning to look a lot like the Harvest season, and apparently it was time for a family party.

Cinder had never been to one of those before, as she had... never been part of a true family before now. Honestly, she was relatively excited to attend, especially since Raven would be there by her side, but she was also nervous. It had been a while since Cinder had seen Summer and Taiyang, and it was her first time in their home, so she had to make sure to be on her best behaviour. Unless everyone started drinking of course, like at Weiss' birthday party earlier in the year, which was probably more than likely. Then all bets were off. She could sit back, relax, and enjoy the show as certain individuals made drunken fools of themselves.

By no surprise, Cinder and Raven were not the first ones to show up, mostly because they both had a bit of trouble figuring out what to wear. Neither of them had been to a family gathering in quite a while, so finding appropriate outfits took longer than anticipated. Eventually, Cinder picked out a white blouse, reddish brown jacket, deep red skinny jeans, and a pair of fairly-new black heeled boots, while Raven went a little more casual, finding a red and black baseball shirt, and a pair of darker-tan jeans. Once the couple was good and dressed, they were off like a pair of turtles, which was really emphasized when they realized they were the last ones there.

When the two arrived, things were already well underway. Yang and Nora had teamed up with Summer to cook a wide assortment of food, while Tai and Qrow were tag-teaming the barbeque. Even from the time Cinder and Raven walked in the front door, everything smelled absolutely incredible. The former three especially had been cooking throughout the day, and they had made so much that no one else needed to bring any extra food, even appetizers. So instead, everyone came with alcohol. Cinder and Raven brought wine; Yang, Weiss and Neo brought cocktail ingredients; Ruby, Pyrrha, and Coco bring communal-strength wine; and Nora and Vernal hard liquor for later on.

The group was set for an enjoyable evening.

As everyone mingled, chatted, and drank, Cinder could not help but look around and think about how a group as diverse as this one could be such a closely-knit family. She had gotten to know these people over the past half-year, learned to care about each one of them, though admittedly, some more than others. Summer for one she had a slight dislike of, due to her past with Raven, but Taiyang she was more neutral on. Everything about him screamed dad, effortlessly domineering personality, always the center of attention in his element, and especially the jokes... Cinder now understood where Yang got the knack for those gods-awful puns.

But thinking of the blonde, that woman was probably Cinder's best friend along with Nora. Yang was so kind when she first started working at the bar, and it was one of the most refreshing feelings to have someone finally treat her normally after so long of people either shunning or pitying her. Honestly, Yang had helped Cinder almost as much as Raven did, minus the relationship stuff, which did not count when they almost spent the night together. That was... an interesting time. They sort of had a weird relationship now, but that did not really matter, because they were family. It was why Cinder was so happy that Yang and Weiss found each other, someone they both deserve.

Although, not that she was thinking about it, those two were easily the most polarizing couple of the bunch. A blueblood, wannabe-punk runaway and a country girl turned barmaid. Those two were such a contrast, and yet, in a strange way, they were perfect for each other... But then Neo was still around, like a bad smell. A silent, bad smell. Ever since their talk all those weeks ago, Cinder had not noticed any red-flag behaviour, but still figured it was only a matter of time. She considered the mute a newly-polite - at least to her - ticking time bomb, and she cared too much about Yang to just accept that Neo changed so drastically.

When Cinder and Raven had initially arrived, Pyrrha gave them a friendly wave, which was reciprocated, but Ruby went out of her way to come and talk to her, with Coco happily in tow. It made her smile. She was quite glad that the brunette was able to move on, even if it was a rather strange arrangement between the three. Ruby had never come off as particularly liberal, aside from her relationship with Pyrrha, but Cinder figured that stranger things had happened. The air of innocence was difficult to ignore.

And last but certainly not least: Nora and Vernal. Cinder was extremely proud of them both, which... felt a little strange to her. She wanted the best for them, but was worried that Nora would not be able to escape her previous job. On the other hand, Vernal came closer to losing herself than even Cinder did, so it was rather fitting that the redhead was the one to finally make her truly happy. They were definitely the most unlikely couple that she had ever seen, but they seemed happy, especially Nora when she was flustering her girlfriend, which was both amusing and adorable to see. Although, Cinder did find it a tad odd to see her friend with someone else after spending months with her in that shithole apartment, sort of involved. She thought about all the time they had spent together, attempting to picture Vernal in her place, and kind of laughing to herself thinking of the punk woman in the submissive position that she once found herself in, in Nora's hungry clutches.

Overall, Cinder was happy to be part of such a strange, goofy, yet incredibly loving family.

After an amazingly delicious, yet very-filling dinner and dessert, then some more friendly chatting, the group decided to settle down in the living room to play a good old fashioned game of truth or dare, as per Ruby's suggestion, with a punishment of ice down the shirt for avoiding a question or dare, as per Yang's and Neo's. The stronger alcohol was already flowing, so a game like that was sure to be a riot, even if that meant Cinder had to embarrass herself too. Unfortunately, Qrow took off after dessert because he received a work-related call, or so he said, which Yang, Taiyang and Ruby translated to he got a booty call. But that still left everyone else for the game. Summer, Tai, Ruby and Pyrrha were on the larger couch; Coco, Cinder and Raven were on another; Nora and Vernal shared the arm chair; and Yang, Weiss and Neo were on the carpet. There was a bit of wondering who would go first, but the group quickly agreed to let Summer go first, since she was the hostess.

"Oh my, this is quite a lot of pressure." Summer chuckled, taking a sip from her glass of wine as she gazed around at the others. "How about... Yang. Truth or dare, sweetheart?"

Yang remained quiet for a moment, considering her choice. "Truth. Gotta start off easy."

Surprisingly, Summer grinned. "Tell Weiss something you've never told her before."

Yang was dead silent, causing Cinder to grin too, as a slight blush tinted the blonde's cheeks, before she turned to her girlfriend. "I uh, I kinda fapped to you a couple times before we got together." She admitted, clearly shocking most people in the room, including her mother, who's grin quickly disappeared.

"And I regret asking that." Summer groaned.

"She's hot, I was lonely, I... fapped a lot." Yang added, much to the amusement of some of the others, but definitely not Summer, or Taiyang.

Weiss reached over to pat her girlfriend on the shoulder. "There's no need to worry, Yang, you were not the only one." She assured, causing the blonde's blush to grow deeper.

Sounds a lot like how our home once was. Cinder noted to herself with a slight grin.

Seconded! Neo's text-to-speech suddenly joined in, leading to to her roommates skeptically look at her. Kidding. She quickly added, before smirking. Or am I?

Yang just sighed. "And so it begins." She deadpanned, rolling her eyes, earning some chuckles from the others. A few moments later, she gazed around at the rest of the group, deciding who to go after. "Uhhh, Nora, truth or dare?"

"Truth!" Nora beamed from next to Vernal, who was quietly sipping her beer.

Yang considered her question for a second, then grinned. "Did you really sleep with Cinder before she and my mom started dating?"

"Boy did we ever!" Nora burst, causing Cinder to let out a sigh. She had a feeling that the blonde would try to ask something like that sooner or later, especially considering she had never given her friend a straight answer. Thankfully, Nora did not elaborate any further, but the question was only a simple yes or no, so she had no reason to. Though Cinder had to admit, she was a little surprised that was all that was said.

"And Vernal doesn't even look shocked." Yang noted.

"You kidding? This girl tells me everything. You'd be surprised how much I know." Vernal clarified, flashing the slightest smirk over at Cinder, giving her the clear sign that it was probably true. Well, at least she could trust Vernal to keep her mouth shut.

"My turn!" Nora declared, excitedly looking around the room for a target. "Ruby! Truth or dare?"

Ruby brought a hand up to her chin for a moment. "Dare!"

Nora only grinned incredibly slyly at the answer. "Well then, I dare you to switch undies with Yang!"

Vernal turned to raise a brow at her girlfriend. "You really gonna go with that for your first dare?"

"Absolutely! Now switch 'em!" Nora doubled-down, grin still strong.

"No!" Ruby quickly refused.

"So you'd rather take the punishment?" Nora inquired.

"I accept!" Ruby agreed.

There was a brief silence, before Yang shrugged, turning to her partner. "Alright, Weiss, get the ice cubes. They're goin' down someone's shirt!"

"Ice packs! On the nipples!" Nora excitedly added.

"Now that is a brilliant idea." Yang complimented with a set of finger guns.

"Not the nipples!" Ruby complained. Unfortunately for her, that was the punishment for backing out of a dare, or avoiding answering a truth. And what a punishment it was, because a couple minutes later, Ruby was sitting next to her wife with two rectangular bulges under her shirt, right on her chest, shivering like no tomorrow. It was amusing as hell. "I h-h-hate y-you..." She cursed through chattering teeth.

"Don't worry dear, Coco and I will warm them up for you later." Pyrrha promised, patting her wife on the shoulder.

"Damn gay we will." Coco agreed, earning some furrowed brows at the strange phrasing.

"C-C-Can we t-take a break so she c-could do th-that n-n-now?" Ruby wondered with a hopeful smile.

"Nope!" Nora and Yang answered in near-unison.

A few minutes later, once her punishment was over, it was Ruby's turn. As much as she wanted to go right back after her sister, the group had decided that one cannot just go for the person that came before them, so she was out of luck on that front. So, she took her sweet time picking who to ask. "Uhhh... Neo! Truth or dare!"

Truth. I'm not drunk enough to do stuff yet. Neo decided, taking a rather large drink from her cocktail. Well, that was one way to get to that point.

"You know, since we met, I've always wondered, what's your natural hair colour?" Ruby genuinely inquired.

While most expected her to simply explain what her natural hair colour was - if it was different than the tri-coloured mixture that was currently on display - Neo instead silently laughed, gave the younger woman a smirk, before standing up off the floor, unbuttoning her skinny jeans, and shimmying them, as well as her underwear, down enough to show off the trimmed brown and pink patch of hair. She then wiggled her eye brows and shook her hips for emphasis. So much for not being drunk enough.

Ruby's eyes nearly shot out of her head upon seeing the rather scandalous display before her, while most of the others awkwardly averted their gazes. "Oh I see."

Meanwhile, Yang just facepalmed. "Oh for gods sake." She groaned, clearly expecting something like that eventually.

"Neo!" Weiss roused, expression a mixture of annoyed and flustered. "If you want to continue drinking tonight you will pull up your pants this instant!"

Neo merely stuck out her tongue as she typed out a message on her scroll. Party pooper. The text-to-speech commented while the mute pulled up and rebuttoned her jeans before sitting back down. But now it's my turn. Neo grinned. Weiss, truth or dare?

Weiss narrowed her eyes a bit at her roommate. "Dare." She hesitantly chose.

I dare you to spank Taiyang. Neo decided, causing her roommates eyes to practically shoot out of her head, just like Ruby's.

"Damn. And here I was hoping I could just get away with watching." Tai chuckled.

"Nobody escapes!" Nora burst, coming close to accidentally spitting her beer.

"Y-Yes, that's true..." Weiss stammered, a deep blush quickly tinting her cheeks.

"What, you hoping he'll spank you back?" Cinder inquired with a smirk and a raised brow.

"Of course not!" Weiss tried to deny, but most of the others knew about her thing for Taiyang.

Can that offer available to someone else? Neo wondered with a smirk of her own.

After some laughter, Weiss stands up from the floor, and very-awkwardly walked over to Taiyang, who partially stood up to expose his backside, and gave him the lightest tap on the rear before quickly rushing back to her spot on the carpet, trying to hide her blush.

"Really? That's the best you've got?" Cinder questioned, brow raised at the weak action.

"Oh trust me, it's not." Yang promised, which... yeah, the older woman believed.

Once Weiss was a little less flustered, she turned her attention to the three-person couch. "How about... Raven! Truth or dare?"

"Dare. I'm feelin' lucky." Raven decided.

"Yell out the first word that comes to your mind." Weiss proposed.

Raven did not even waste a second. "Pubes!" She burst, eliciting laughs from some of the others. Well, someone's really fixated on that.

"Pfft, seriously?" Yang asked through laughter.

"I've never seen multicolored pubes before, sue me." Raven shrugged, taking a large sip from her beer, while Neo just winked and shot a pair of finger guns at her. "Okay uh... Ah, okay. Squirt, truth or dare?"

"Truth!" Ruby decided, almost immediately, likely wanting to avoid another weird dare, or rather, another harsh punishment. Cinder had to admit, ice packs on the nipples was quite the penalty, especially for someone like her, as that area was... rather sensitive, more so on the burned side. And her partner knew just how to take every little advantage of that fact.

"What's the weirdest thing you've ever done with Pyr?" Raven wondered after a bit of silence, spent trying to think of a question.

"Oh gods, please no." Summer groaned, much to the amusement of her friend.

Ruby was quiet for a moment, expression showing that she was deep in thought. "Well, we did this weird fertility ritual in Mistral while on our honeymoon. That probably takes the cake."

Raven furrowed her brow. "Explain."

"I'd prefer it if you didn't." Summer requested.

"I wasn't aware you tried to conceive." Weiss commented.

"Oh it wasn't for us." Ruby quickly corrected. "It's like, good luck to try and have a baby around people having sex, and it's good luck to help people have a baby, right?" She tried to explain, looking to her wife, who nodded.

"I wanted to show Ruby my culture, and we were in the right place at the right time." Pyrrha continued.

"So... you two fucked in a room full of people fucking?" Cinder wondered, sort of understanding what the redhead was talking about.

"Language, Cinder." Summer chastised, thought it fell on deaf ears.

"To put it crudely." Pyrrha nodded.

Meanwhile, Weiss merely sat there, probably attempting to picture what that was like. "Oh my."

Next was Ruby's turn. "Uhh... Coco! Truth or dare!"

"Dare. Go nuts." Coco chose with a slight grin, sipping her beer.

"Okay then, I dare you to suplex Yang!" Ruby excitedly declared.

Coco just blinked, expression one of pure confusion. "Uh, what now?"

"Pick her up, and fall backward." Pyrrha explained.

Coco glanced over at her friend, looking her up and down, before turning back to her older partner. "I thought I wasn't supposed to die."

"Hey! I'm not that heavy!" Yang exclaimed with a pout.

"You're close to twice my weight." Weiss mentioned, only causing that pout to grow more childish.

"Well I blame my assets!" Yang complained, coving up her chest with her hands.

"Emphasis on the ass." Cinder commented.

Letting out a laugh, Yang partially crawled over the coffee table to reach toward the older woman for a fist bump, which was unenthusiastically accepted with a rolled eye. "Hey, Cin knows what's up." The blonde smiled, shifting back to return to her carpet seat.

"More like what's down." Raven snorted.

"You know, I'm not normally the jealous type, but I wish I had an ass like that." Coco added, gently rubbing her own backside.

"Sounds like someone's been staring." Yang smirked.

"Hey, we dated, I'm allowed to stare as much as I want." Coco shrugged. "Plus, that thing is pretty hard to miss."

"Yeah, it keeps knocking over my patrons." Raven added, much to the annoyance of her daughter.

"Hey!"

Coco then got up from the couch with a sigh. "Alright, c'mere, Xiao Long, lemme suplex you."

"Do it in the spare bedroom, I'd rather not have anyone get hurt." Summer requested, pointing towards the staircase that led upstairs. So, Yang and Ruby got up and led Coco up the stairs, leaving the rest of the group in silence. About a minute later, a dull thump, followed by a set of laughs was heard before the trio returned briefly after, still chuckling as they re-took their seats.

"Let's see... uh... Vernal. Truth or dare?" Coco wondered after taking another drink from her beer.

"Eh, truth. I don't feel like gettin' up." Vernal decided, leaning more against her girlfriend, who very gladly accepted the physical contact.

"Hmm... When was the worst time you let one rip?" Coco inquired with a slight smirk.

"Few weeks ago at the bar, right before Yang came out with a keg." Vernal answered, matter-of-factly, earning some laughter from the others.

"So that was you! You told me it was Cin!" Yang burst after a moment.

"Excuse me?" Cinder questioned, not exactly happy that such an action was blamed on her.

"You were dumb enough to buy it." Vernal shrugged, taking a sip from her beer.

"Hey, Weiss, remind me to make beans before my next shift with Vernal over there." Yang requested, earning a slightly disgusted expression from her girlfriend.

"Gross."

"Okay, guess it's my turn." Vernal noted, sitting up a bit as she looked around at the rest of the group. "Uh... Weiss, truth or dare?"

"Dare." Weiss simply answered.

"Right, uh... damnit. I dare you to... how 'bout chug a big glass of wine." Vernal eventually decided.

Unfortunately for her, that seemed to be no problem. Without saying a word, Weiss got up from her spot on the floor, refilled her wine glass, far higher than normal, sat back on the carpet, and downed the entire thing in less than thirty seconds. "No problems here, we took a Ryde." She proudly grinned.

"Well that was no fun." Vernal sighed, leaning back against Nora.

"My turn!" Weiss beamed, clearly already being affected by the alcohol. Well that was fast. "I pick... Summer! Truth or dare?"

Summer considered her answer for a moment. "Truth. Blame Tai for being too comfortable." She chose, not moving from her spot cuddling up to her husband.

"Guilty." Tai chuckled.

"Tell us your weirdest fantasy!" Weiss requested with a grin.

Summer was dead silent for several moments. "Oh, hmm, ah." She eventually mumbled, a deep blushing quickly tinting her cheeks.

"Yeah, Summer, go ahead." Tai commented, nudging his wife.

"I know what it is." Raven smirked, incredibly slyly.

"Oh gods." Ruby groaned.

"I told you in confidence." Summer hissed at her friend, glaring daggers at her.

"And now it's your turn to tell everyone else in confidence." Raven countered, smirk not fading one bit.

"Am I gonna wanna plug my ears for this?" Ruby hesitantly wondered.

Raven just shrugged. "Probably, squirt." She guessed, leading to her step-daughter reaching up to cover her ears.

"Fine, fine." Summer gave up, running her hands through her hair with a heavy sigh. "I... want to have sex with three Tai's." She eventually admitted, earning some rather shocked or amused expressions from some of the others as a deep blush tinted her cheeks.

"And I told you that you could always pick up two more at a local bar." Raven reminded with another shrug.

"There's only one Tai, Rave, even Weiss understands that." Summer assured, leaning up to plant a kiss on her husband's cheek.

"That I do." Weiss nodded. Cinder could feel the envy from where she sat.

"But very well, if you want to play it like that, truth or dare, Raven?" Summer wondered, narrowing her eyes at her friend.

Raven did not even seem phased, which made sense. That woman was just Ruby, but twenty or so years older. Intimidation was something that neither of them were good at, or hell, even decent at. Their faces were just too soft. "Dare."

"Pants off, forever!" Summer proudly declared, a sly, yet childish grin spreading across her face.

"Done." Raven simply accepted, unbuttoning her jeans, before adjusting her position to slide them off, exposing her plain black panties, causing her daughters to awkwardly look away, and Cinder to grin. Seeing her partner without pants was always a welcome sight. Raven then bunched up the garment and threw them at her friend, earning a shocked gasp as she caught them.

Holding the jeans in her hands, Summer pouted, almost identically to when her daughter did it. "You're no fun."

"Not my fault you're easily embarrassed." Raven shrugged with a grin.

Summer went to toss the pants aside, but seemingly noticed something about them, turning them in her hands a few times. "Hey, I bought you these three years ago!" She burst, clearly shocked.

"I take care of my clothes." Raven informed.

"Tell that to all the shirts you've ripped off of me." Cinder commented, smirking at her partner.

"Shirts are just candy wrappers for tits." Raven defended, which... was a fairly accurate statement, given how the older woman treated certain garments.

Damn right! Neo's text-to-speech suddenly agreed.

"Seconded." Coco added.

"Thirded!" Nora excitedly added as well.

"Sounds like this shirt isn't making it through the night." Cinder quietly mentioned to her partner.

"Maybe someone will get dared to rip it off." Raven suggested, lips curling into a hungry grin.

Dibs! Neo volunteered, which sadly ruined the moment for Cinder. Leave it to the ex-ex-parasite.

"Guess it's my go. Uh... how 'bout Cin, truth or dare?" Raven eventually picked.

"Dare. I'm feeling wild." Cinder chose with a grin.

"Alright, I dare you to kiss Ruby." Raven decided, rather quickly.

Cinder just blinked at the request. "What?"

"Well you kissed one of my daughters-" Raven began.

"Made out actually." Yang interrupted to clarify.

"She got rather handsy." Cinder added.

"We were drunk." Yang defended.

"And quite sad." Cinder agreed.

"And she already had a crush on you anyway." Yang informed.

"Wait how did you know that?" Cinder inquired, recalling that she never told the blonde about her feelings for Raven before they were a couple.

"You're talkin' to a former matchmaker, Cin, I know when people have crushes." Yang explained, smiling proudly at what she apparently thought was an accomplishment.

Raven then cleared her throat. "Anyway, you kissed one of my daughters, might as well get the other one." She figured.

Cinder let out a heavy sigh, as the reasoning was technically sound. "Fine." She reluctantly agreed, pulling herself up off of the couch, and walking over to the other one. She then reached out, tilting Ruby's head up with her hand, and leaned down to peck her on the lips, before walking back and plopping back down in her seat, wiping off her own mouth as the younger woman just sat there, blushing. It was not that the kiss was gross or anything, but Cinder was dating her step-mother. "Alright, truth or dare, ex-ex-parasite?"

Dare! Neo picked.

"Very well. I dare you to..." Cinder began, but trailed off. Honestly she had no idea what she was going to dare the mute, other than she wanted it to be embarrassing. So, she thought back to the games she played in college, and soon received an idea from one of her past friends. "Seduce someone in the group. Let's say... Ruby."

"What? Why me again?!" Ruby complained.

"Because I think it would be entertaining." Cinder defended with a smile.

Challenge accepted. Neo agreed, jumping up from her carpet spot. Though before she took a step, she froze. Wait, are there any restrictions?

"Your clothes stay on." Weiss firmly answered.

Neo pouted a bit at her roommate, but shrugged, seemingly accepting the condition. She sauntered over to the couch that Ruby was sitting on with her wife and parents, not breaking eye contact with the younger woman for a single moment, smirking all the while. Neo then leaned over a blushing Ruby, trailing fingers along her arms, and briefly pulling back to run her hands up her legs. Wanna know how a mute girl keeps her tongue strong? She wondered via text-to-speech, which sort of killed her momentum, but apparently not for her target. In response, Raven laughed, Summer blushed with an oh my, Tai facepalmed, Nora giggled, Vernal rolled her eyes, and Yang and Weiss groaned.

Meanwhile, Ruby was as red as a tomato. "Alright, I'm seduced! You win!" She burst, turning away as Neo silently laughed as she returned to her seat on the floor.

"Well, shall we move on?" Summer wondered, clearly hoping to get that display out of her head.

If you say so. Neo grinned, apparently having an idea in mind. Weiss! Truth or dare?

Weiss narrowed her eyes a bit at her roommate again. "Judging from last time, I should probably say truth, but I'm going to say dare." She hesitantly chose.

Good choice. Now I dare you to give Pyrrha a lap dance. Neo decided, grin not fading one bit.

If Weiss' eyes were not attached to her, they would have shot out of her head, and she just... sat there for almost thirty seconds before slowly turning to her girlfriend. "Yang, I request your permission for this."

Yang just blinked. "I uh..."

I'll record it! Neo excitedly added, waving her scroll around.

"Me too!" Ruby agreed, whipping out her own scroll.

"What a family-friendly game." Tai commented, taking a small sip from his beer.

Yang let out a sigh. "Fine, as long as you're okay with it."

Weiss patted her girlfriend on the shoulder. "Don't worry Yang, I'll get her back." She assured, before leaning in to whisper. "And I'll reserve one for you later."

It turned out that Weiss was a natural, thanks to her ballet and fencing training, even though apparently she had only seen videos on adult websites. During the act, Yang was just completely mesmerized by it, while Pyrrha seemed rather impressed. The weirdest thing for most of the group was the two women were entirely natural about it, but the younger of them explained that they had already been bonding over being open with affection. Hell, Pyrrha even gave Weiss tips as she did it. By the time she was finished, she earned some applause from Nora.

"That was better than I expected." Cinder admitted as Weiss sat back down next to her blushing girlfriend.

"Almost as one of yours, babe." Raven quietly commented, receiving a nudge from her partner.

"Encore! Encore!" Nora excitedly requested.

"Very well, Nora. Truth or dare?" Weiss wondered with an innocent smile.

"Truth!" Nora almost-immediately chose, which shocked several of the others. "What? I don't wanna make a fool outta myself during my first family party!"

Weiss nodded. "Understandable." She acknowledged, glancing between Nora and Vernal. "Between the two of you, who's on top?" Weiss inquired, causing her ex's eyes to widen a bit, and the hint of a blush to tint her cheeks.

"Depends on the night. We take turns, sometimes wrestle for it." Nora explained, while Vernal only hid her face in her hands out of embarrassment, causing a few of the others to laugh.

"Sounds like someone's fishin' for a punishment later." Yang guessed, like she had done the same before.

"Shh! Don't spoil my plan!" Nora hissed, looking around the room. "Uhh, Cindy! Truth or dare!"

"Dare." Cinder decided, though having a bad feeling that might have been the wrong decision, especially with the evil grin that she received. Great.

Jumping up off of the arm chair, which nearly knocked Vernal onto the floor, Nora ran into the kitchen, and came back a few moments later with something behind her back. "I dare you to deep-throat this banana!" She burst, pulling out... none other than a banana.

Cinder quirked her brow. "Excuse me?"

"Go on, do it." Raven grinned, nudging her partner a couple times.

Looking between the older woman and her friend, Cinder let out a sigh. It got about halfway before she choked. So, Raven showed her how it was done, looking Cinder right in the eye as she did it, and winking, causing her to shiver. Good gods. Raven also tried to get Summer to do it, but she refused, as according to the former whispering in her partner's ear, she could never get that far down on a partner due to her gag reflex being too strong.

Now it was Cinder's turn, and she knew just who to go after. "Summer, truth or dare?"

"Hm... I will choose dare this time." Summer decided.

"Excellent." Cinder smirked. "I dare you..." She began, but trailed off as her partner tapped her on the shoulder and leaned close to her ear.

"Dare her to do a belly shot." Raven whispered.

"I see." Cinder nodded, turning back to her target. "I dare you to do a belly shot off of... Pyrrha."

Summer immediately tensed up, but tried to play it off, and failed. "O-Only if Pyrrha consents."

"A strange dare for sure, but I am okay with it." Pyrrha nodded, much to the disappointment of her mother-in-law. She then got up from the couch, moved some of the glasses and cans out of the way on the coffee table, and lied across the wooden surface. Raven brought out a bottle of cherry brandy, which was one of Summer's favourites, and poured some into the redhead's belly button, all while Yang brought out her scroll to record. Once everything was ready, Summer awkwardly moved to kneel before Pyrrha's exposed stomach, a very heavy blush tinting her cheeks, and hesitantly leaned down to do the shot with a slurp, shockingly even making the other woman blush.

After her target returned to her seat, blush still strong, Cinder grinned. "Well, that was amusing."

Summer cleared her throat. "Coco, truth or dare?"

"Dare." Coco rather quickly chose.

"Alright, I dare you to lick Pyrrha's feet!" Summer excitedly decided, clearly happy to have the focus off of her.

"Eww." Ruby cringed.

Pyrrha softly chuckled. "I see I am quickly becoming a target."

"Do it!" Summer pressed.

"I want to see this now." Weiss admitted.

Coco let out a sigh. "Did you wash your feet today, Pyr?" She asked, to which her older partner nodded.

"Of course. You were in the shower with me." Pyrrha reminded.

"Aw, I missed that?! Stupid errands!" Ruby whined, earning a pair of chuckles from her wife and partner.

Coco sighed again. "Fine. Guess I've pretty much licked everywhere else anyway."

"A detail that didn't need to be mentioned." Yang commented.

"Hey, you've told me about your sex life." Coco countered.

Weiss did a double take upon hearing that. "You've done what now?"

Yang merely stared blankly at her girlfriend, before turning to her sister-in-law. "So isn't this a big thing in Mistrali society, Pyr?"

"Depending on the circumstances." Pyrrha informed.

Taking a breath, Coco moved onto the floor, crawled over to the other couch, took the redhead's foot into her hands, slipped off her sock, and licked up the side of it after several moments of hesitation, earning some chuckles. She then put her partner's sock back on and returned to her seat. "And that was gross." Coco groaned, taking a fairly huge drink from her beer. "Alright, my go. Uh... Tai, truth or dare?"

Tai knit his eyebrows for a moment. "I think I'll do truth. Gotta be more drunk for one of your guys' dares."

"Alright uh... what's the weirdest place you've had sex?" Coco wondered, to which Raven just snickered, trying not to laugh, while Summer furrowed her brow.

"Is this something I'm gonna want to plug my ears for?" Ruby asked, already raising her arms.

"Seconded." Yang added.

"Go on, tell 'em, Tai." Raven grinned, still trying to stay calm.

Tai was dead silent for several seconds. "Well, Rae and I... kinda kind of did it in the back of a cop car." He hesitantly admitted.

"You did what?" Summer questioned, clearly unaware of that fact.

"I would also like an elaboration." Cinder requested.

"We were walking home from a party and found it parked on the side of the road." Tai rather simply explained.

"Dumbass left it unlocked, I was horny as shit, and hated cops at the time. So y'know, one thing led to another." Raven elaborated, much to the surprise of the others. "We even borrowed the spare set of handcuffs to get a little freaky." Then she chuckled. "Still got 'em to this day actually, rootin' around in a box somewhere. They're broken, but I like havin' them around as a reminder of all that rough play. Good times."

Yang just groaned once her mother was finished. "I hate you, C."

Coco grinned. "Love you too, new sister of mine."

Meanwhile, Cinder was sitting there wondering if she and Raven would ever go so hard they broke the handcuffs that the other woman bought for them.

"Guess it's my turn. Let's see... Yang, truth or dare?" Tai wondered after a bit of silence.

"Dare. Go nuts." Yang challenged.

"Alright, I dare you to... do a handstand for two minutes while whipped cream is put on your feet!" Tai decided, earning some furrowed brows.

"That's... pretty weird, dad." Yang admitted.

"I don't know! I just thought of something random!" Tai tried to defend.

"That's for sure." Yang agreed, before pulling herself up off the floor. "Alright, let's do this. Weiss, get the whipped cream." She sighed, walking over to the wall, tucking her shirt in, and leaning down to get on her hands. Unfortunately for her, her shirt still ended up falling up once she was upside down, exposing her leopard-print bra, receiving a nice from Coco, a 10/10 from Neo. Weiss tried to help keep the garment up, while their roommate took lots of pictures, trying to get another peek. Once Yang was done with her dare, she wiped the whipped cream off her feet and returned to her spot. "Pyr! Truth or dare?"

Pyrrha hummed. "How about... dare."

Yang grinned at the answer. "Okay, I dare you to make out with Cin!"

Pyrrha almost choked on her wine. "Are you sure, Yang? There are other, more civil ways for two people to bury the hatchet."

Yang just laughed at the protest. "Aw c'mon, Pyr, it's not about makin' up, it's about makin' out!"

"So you just want to see us kiss." Cinder questioned.

"Exactly!" Yang grinned.

Well, that was something that was not exactly on Cinder's bucket list, but honestly, she was all for it. She knew the redhead felt guilty and uncomfortable interacting with her, so embarrassing her was a pretty good tradeoff for kissing her. Plus, Cinder was fairly certain she could out-kiss the younger woman, which was just another bonus. Unfortunately, she was dead-wrong. Pyrrha switched seats with Coco, as per Yang's request, then not even ten seconds later, Pyrrha was on top of her, because the moment their lips connected, that woman instantly channeled herself into one of the most loving kisses she could possibly give, causing Cinder to let out a muffled gasp. Once the redhead pulled back, she simply stood up, pulled out her lipstick, and switched back with Coco to sit with her wife, leaving the other woman to just lie there on her partner's thighs.

What in the fuck just happened?

Raven poked the younger woman's cheek. "She's dead."

"I think you went a little too hard, Pyr." Yang observed, looking between her friend an sister-in-law.

"Mother didn't raise me to half ass, Yang." Pyrrha informed.

"You gonna get up anytime soon?" Raven wondered to her partner.

"I'm fine down here." Cinder assured, closing her eye. Raven's bare legs were comfortable.

She loved these people.

The only thing Yang hated about big family parties was the hangover that usually came the following morning.

Well, at least the party was fun. The food was all delicious, thanks to the efforts of her, Summer and Nora, as well as Tai and Qrow on the barbeque; the company was pleasant; and that game of truth or dare was an absolute riot, very likely due to the amount of alcohol that was flowing by that point of the evening. But damn, even after so many months of knowing Cinder, seeing her happily get in on the fun with such ease was a strange sight to say the least. Yang probably had her mother to thank for that. Not to mention Vernal and Nora. The mere idea of those two as a couple was already shocking enough, but being around them somewhere that was not just a work visit was... a new experience. And people say Weiss and I are opposites...

Overall, it was a great night, and Yang hoped that they could all do it again sometime soon. Although, one thing that she did not remember was leaving the party and getting back to their still relatively-new apartment. Of course they obviously did return home, as Yang recognized the feeling of her own bed, but something was off. Without even opening her eyes, she could tell that she was naked, as well as felt Weiss' equally-naked body in her arms, which meant they must have had drunken sex the prior night, but upon adjusting herself, she could feel... a second person cuddled up to her back. Wait... what?

Cracking open her eyes, Yang tilted her head up to get a better look at her situation, and found Weiss cuddling with her back to her, nude as she thought, causing a smile to spread across her face. As hard as her partner leaned into being the domme of the relationship sometimes, she almost always ended up being the little spoon. Though that was completely fine with Yang, as she always loved having a lover in her arms. Unfortunately, as much as she wanted to enjoy another morning, sleeping naked with her wonderful girlfriend, there was another issue at hand. Hesitantly, and very slowly turning around, she finally found who was behind her. It was... Neo... and she was also... nude...

It took Yang more time than she would have liked to admit - an embarrassingly long time, really - to figure out why the mute was in their bed, but from all the teeth marks, hickeys, scratches, and so on, on not only her and Weiss' bodies, but Neo's as well... It eventually became explicitly clear.

We... We had sex with her...

Fuck.
