We start off with Dwayne Junior narrating.

The school system, the way it is set up, is useful for helping young kids achieve their goals. But, the students of Bronzestone high, can sometimes crack under the pressure, and make bad decisions. This is the difficult freshman year.

The tugs theme then plays

Junior's POV

As you are fully aware, I was a massive Denny Hamlin fan when I was a kid. Whenever I saw him win a race on tv, I would jump up and down and scream with excitement. I remember that day quite well, I was sitting on my couch watching the NASCAR season opener, the Budweiser shootout. The people in charge of NASCAR, did one of the most insensitive things, I have ever seen done on live television. And this is coming from a guy, who saw a lot of dishonest things, while competing on reality tv.

Reader's POV

Junior was looking at the tv, anxiously. Race leader Ryan Newman had just taken the white flag. Denny Hamlin was locked onto his back bumper. Behind them, Jamie McMurray was pushing Kurt Busch. Junior knew that if a wreck happened and the caution came out, Newman would be the winner, as he was currently the race leader. But if Hamlin made his move too soon, Busch and McMurray would blow right by him. Junior nat there nervously, as Hamlin was pushing Newman around the track. As they went into turn four, Junior was on his feet, Hamlin ducked down to the inside of Newman. He went going by Newman on the inside, but Busch was coming up on him fast on the outside. The checkered flag was waving, Busch gaining on Hamlin, and Hamlin got to the line, just before he got passed. Junior began celebrating madly as this was happening. "YES, BARELY GOT HIM, LAST LAP, TURN FOUR, DENNY HAMLIN JUST WON THE BUDWEISER SHOOTOUT!" Junior was so happy his favorite driver won. "Hold on Junior, there is a ruling going on, Hamlin went below the yellow line" said Dwayne Senior. Junior wasn't worried in the slightest. Hamlin didn't advance his position, he was already the leader. They were showing the replay, and Junior just laughed. "They seriously need to put this under review?" "Look, you can see him already ahead of Newman, how is he passing anybody?" Junior was positive, they were going to make Hamlin the official winner, and that he was about to see his burnouts. He was happy, he couldn't wait to see Hamlin in victory lane. Then, Mike Joy said this: "Kurt Busch has won the Budweiser shootout."

Junior's POV

I was pissed off beyond belief, when they made this decision. Denny Hamlin, 100%, won the race. The rule says you can't 'pass' below the line. Hamlin never passed Newman. He was already ahead, before he went below the line, he didn't violate any rule. I though NASCAR would realize their mistake, and fix it by tomorrow morning. When I woke up, I looked on the internet, and saw that they didn't fix the error. This bad call was no accident, if it was, they would have corrected it, and gave Hamlin a full apology. They made a bad call on purpose, just so they could bully Denny Hamlin. This really irritated me, as I was still being bullied by Chester Creed. For the rest of the term, Chester continued to irritate me. He continuously wore a shirt that said Kurt Busch, 2011, Budweiser shootout winner. I had just about had it with him, I was going to stand up to him.

Reader's POV

Everyone was anticipating what was happening tomorrow. Bronzestone had just suffered four baseball losses in a row, and were in a must win situation to make the playoffs. The team they were playing against, was Emeraldstone. Given the fierce rivalry between the two schools, they really wanted Junior to help them pull off an upset. Junior confronted Chester Creed in the hallway, once classes were over. "I've had it with you asshole" said Junior. "You think you're so great, beating me up, threatening my family members." "Well i'm giving you a warning, if you don't turn yourself in to the school principal in the next ten seconds, i'm going to bite your fingers off, one by one." Junior then began counting. "10...9...8..."

Junior's POV

Before I got to 7, Chester punched me hard in the face. It was the worst beating I had gotten yet. He threw me into a supplies closet, and was continuously beating the crap out of me. I lie there unconscious, several tears in my skin, bleeding to death. Thankfully, my girlfriend came to the rescue.

Reader's POV

Bertha just walked into the room, and was completely mortified by what she just saw. "Oh God Junior, please don't be dead" she said. She barely heard Junior breathing. She then began shoving him. "Come on Junior, wake up already." There was no response. She realized that Junior needed medical attention right away. The took a really large towel, and wrapped Junior with it. She pushed on him hard, to try and add as much pressure to the bleeding, as possible. She then picked up Junior bridal style, and hurriedly carried him outside the building.

There was no way she was waiting for an ambulance, she was getting him to the hospital by herself. She broke open the driver side window of Principal Star's car, unlocked the vehicle, and buckled Junior into the back seat. She then climbed into the front seat, and started the engine. Bertha was obviously not old enough to drive, but this was a serious emergency. She was also fully aware of the fact, she was committing a major case of grand theft auto.

Bertha nailed the gas all the way down, and set off for the hospital. She was driving like a complete maniac. She slammed on the brakes when they got to the hospital. She got Junior out of the car, and carried him to the front desk. She then began screaming. "SOMEBODY HELP, THIS GUY IS BLEEDING TO DEATH!"

Junior was very weakly opening his eyes. He saw his father, his mother, Harold, Izzy, and Bertha standing beside his bed. "Oh thank goodness, we thought you might not wake up" said Dwayne. "Where exactly am I?" asked Junior. "You're in the hospital" said Annie. "You didn't break any bones, but you did lose a lot of blood" said Harold. "It was a good thing Bertha found you and brought you here, otherwise you'd be dead" said Izzy. "Bertha come here" said Junior. Bertha leaned in close. "For a while I thought you only wanted to go out with me because I was famous." "I now realize that you legitimately love me." "Given how you were willing to help me when I was in danger, I'm pleased to say that I return your feelings." Bertha leaned forward, and the two began to share a kiss.

Junior's POV

With how bad the injury was, I wasn't discharged in time for the end of term exams. I had to take them in my hospital bed, but I was still able to pass. Feeling guilty about the way he was acting as a spy, Zachary revealed all the strengths and weaknesses that Emeraldstone had. I was unable to play due to being in the hospital, but Bronzestone still managed to scrape a win. Principal Zero wasn't pleased with Zachary costing their school the win, and stripped him of his prefect status. I lied to everyone, and said that I was too out of it, to remember what attacked me, as I didn't want my dad to suffer the same fate. While it may seem like the worst is over, it's actually still to come. But that is a story for another day.

Authors note: If that bad officiating call was an accident, the official's would have overturned it by now. I mean think about it. 11 years later, they have still done absolutely nothing.

Thank you for reading and please have a great day.
