We start off with Dwayne Junior narrating.

The school system, the way it is set up, is useful for helping young kids achieve their goals. But, the students of Bronzestone high, can sometimes crack under the pressure, and make bad decisions. This is the difficult freshman year.

The tugs theme then plays.

Junior's POV

As I was in the hospital, I had several get well soon cards, from my Ridongculous race friends. Several of them were asking me who I was attacked by, and I had to write back and lie to them, stating that I had no idea. I obviously couldn't tell them about Chester Creed. I was eventually cleared to play baseball again, and Bronzestone completely destroyed the other teams during the playoffs. Every time we played, none of the other teams were able to score a single run. We ended up taking the season ending championship, with a score of 25 runs to nothing, against Marked Thorn. My real problem, was my constant beatings from Chester Creed.

Reader's POV

Chester was still hurting Junior, but this time it wasn't enough to hospitalize him. "Your fate is pretty well determined" said Chester. "The end of year feast is about to happen, and you'll obviously win the most popular student award." "When that happens, it's over for you." "It'll be more than a hospital bed." "You, and that pathetic excuse for a dad, are going to die." "I've already got the gun locked and loaded, just need somebody to use it on."

Junior's POV

I was somehow able to get through my exams, despite the fear of death. The third and final sleepover of the year had just ended, and I was back at home. The end of year feast was about to happen, and I was about to be voted the most popular student. Chester Creed was going to kill me, and my dad. I woke up from a really bad nightmare at 2:30 in the morning, and knew what I had to do. I had no choice, but to run away from home. I couldn't receive the reward, if I wasn't present for the feast.

I didn't want to do this, but I really didn't have much of a choice. I packed up some clothes, a couple of snacks, my collection of NASCAR die casts, and my teddy bear. I didn't know where I was going to go, but I knew this, I was never coming home. I took one last look at my house, and bolted. I was getting as far away from Mount sword as possible.

Reader's POV

When Harold and Izzy woke up in the morning, they thought Junior had already gone down to breakfast. Then a horrible thought struck Harold. He ran over to Dwayne and Annie's bedroom door, and started banging on it. "WAKE THE HELL UP!" he shouted. Dwayne then opened the door. "Guys, I cannot be one hundred percent positive, but I think that Junior just ran away from home" said Harold. "He did what?" asked Annie shocked. "How can you be so sure?" asked Dwayne. "I heard him crying in his sleep" said Harold. "He was crying over constantly getting beaten up all year, by a kid named Chester Creed." "He went on and on about how he couldn't tell anyone, as it would result in you getting hurt." "Chester has gone mad, he says he's going to kill Junior, and you, after the end of term feast." "HE THREATENED TO KILL MY SON?!" shouted Dwayne.

Something snapped inside of Dwayne's head, causing him to go berserk. He jumped out the window, got into his car, and nailed the gas all the way down. He was driving like he had a five star wanted level on GTA. There were several close calls, where he almost hit other cars. No surprise, the police began chasing him. But this was all part of the plan.

Dwayne drove up to Chester Creed's house, and crashed straight through the wall. He got out of the car, looked at Chester, and started beating the shit out him. Dwayne then held a knife to Sheldon's chest. "OWN UP TO IT, CONFESS EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW!" shouted Dwayne. "OKAY, I'VE BEEN ASSAULTING YOUR SON ALL YEAR!" shouted Chester. "I TOLD HIM IF HE SAID ANYTHING TO ANYONE, I'D HURT YOU AS WELL!" "I EVEN THREATENED TO MURDER HIM, AND THERE'S A FIREARM UP IN MY BEDROOM!" "EVERY YEAR I'VE BEEN A STUDENT AT BRONZESTONE, I'VE THREATENED OTHER STUDENTS TO VOTE FOR ME AS THE MOST POPULAR STUDENT!" "I SAID I'D KILL THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES IF THEY DIDN'T!" "I EVEN HAVE A HISTORY OF SENDING OTHER STUDENTS TO THE HOSPITAL!" "DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE FACT THAT I'VE CHEATED ON ALL OF MY EXAMS!" The cops that were chasing Dwayne, arrived just in time to her the confession, and Chester Creed was instantly cuffed.

Junior's POV

The authorities did have to acknowledge that my dad was breaking several laws, and there was enough sufficient evidence to have him arrested. They let him off with a major warning, as his actions did help catch a really dangerous criminal, that had been participating in illegal activities for the past four years.

It was eventually midnight, and I was unaware of what happened back in my hometown. I still thought i'd never see my family and friends ever again. I was completely horrified, when I saw a ghost.

Reader's POV

"Holy crap, ghosts actually do exist" said Junior. "I mean no harm, I was just wondering if you have any chocolate" said the ghost. "Wait a minute, you're the ghost that's been living in the groundskeeper's basement" said Junior. "Oh, so you've met Oscar" said the ghost. "Yes, and I have a Kit kat bar if you want it" said Junior. "I'll just take this to go" said the ghost. A light shone down upon him, and he rose back up to the heavens. "I cannot believe what I just saw" said a voice. Junior turned, and saw that the voice was Harold. "No Harold, you need to stay away, you'll get badly hurt around me" said Junior. "Junior, I am not taking no for an answer, lift up your shirt, and show me the bruises" said Harold. Junior began to cry, and showed Harold the bruises he got from his major beatings. "Listen Junior, I know about what you've been putting up with the whole year, and I want to assure you that everything will be fine, Chester is going to jail" said Harold. "Now listen Junior, I know what you are going through right now, given how I went through a lot of bullying from Duncan." "You need to keep this in mind, you're not the only one who has bad days." "I went through hell when I was younger, it started with my parents getting divorced, before I was even born." "I had a bad history of getting sick, and throughout my life, i've contracted at least 300 diseases." "I lost count of the number of times I had to go to the hospital." "Life isn't fair, and at times it can actually be terrible, but that doesn't mean you don't have to enjoy it." "Hell, Izzy's parents just got involved in a perverted scandal, but she's still continuing on with life." "No matter what happens, somebody is always going to be there for you, you are never alone."

Junior's POV

I eventually arrived home, and my family and friends, acknowledged how worried they were about me. They didn't give me too much crap about running away from home, as while it wasn't the right thing to do, it was still justified, and they knew that I was really scared.

With Chester Creed now arrested, I was able to enjoy the end of year feast, without having to worry about anything. No surprise, I was voted the most popular student. Add in the fact that I passed my exams, getting an impossible 110% in auto mechanics.

Reader's POV

It was the day of Grandpa Norbert and Grandma Alice's wedding, thus officially making the Santori's and McGrady's related. Junior showed that he was willing to forgive and forget, as he was willing to invite Zachary, and they now considered each other legit friends. As everyone was just dancing and having a good time, Harold, Dwayne, Annie, and Junior were having a talk. "Listen Harold, I know you're significantly younger than I am, but I still don't have a problem with calling you my brother" said Dwayne. "We've thought about it, and we know this is the right decision" said Annie. "If something were to happen to the two of us, you are going to be Junior's guardian" said Dwayne. Harold and Junior began to get emotional, and began hugging. "I love you uncle Harold" said Junior.

Junior's POV

For the rest of my life, I saw Harold as way more than a cool friend, I saw him as family. To this day, I still love him as an uncle. I learned some important lessons that year. Nobody is ever alone, there will always have someone who's willing to help. I also learned that it's best not to run away from your problems, and not to be afraid to ask for help. In the rest of my time at high school, I knew that I had family members I could trust. They would be there to help me, when certain things began to look bad. But those are stories, for another day.

The tugs closing theme then plays.

Authors note: There you have it, we now have the happy ending. It was fun while it lasted, but all good things must eventually come to an end. Well end to a certain extent, there will be a sequel that goes over the sophomore year, but it might take a while for it to come out.

You're all probably thinking, that this is based off of David Mitton's Tugs. While that is partially true, I was mainly inspired by Victor Tanzig's stories of Sodor series. I like the way he narrates Thomas and friends stories, in a similar way that Tugs is narrated. So I figured, If it works for Thomas the freaking tank engine, it can work for Total Drama.

Thank you for reading and please have a great day.
