Luz Noceda, err, or rather Luz Noceda-Belos as she will probably be known as from now on, was standing in the now mainly empty living room.

The only thing that remained was her late Grandmother's rocking chair. She passed away in that chair surrounded by family and friends... It was sad but somber, it was an odd experience, to see a family member at the end of their cycle. She often thought of it. Her mother couldn't bring herself to get rid of it, probably was going to let it rot with the rest of the house...

A week had passed since Camila announced the move away to a new magical land to her, She did prove her story to be real, pulling out the Glass Orb and the treasure chest from a closet in her bedroom, when they got home.

"So that's how you were able to pay for the damage I caused to the school... Does that mean you never actually took a loan from the bank?" She asked her Mom.

"Nope, never did, although I did have to cash in at least 5 diamonds, most of this was going towards you when you graduated, but plans changed, you obviously can't live a normal life here." Her mother said as she continued to clean the house and put things in boxes. "So might as well give you the right life you need with your father."

Luz looked around her Living room, her mother had packed away all the picture frames, photo albums, and other things she wanted to bring along from the Human Realm. If it was impractical to bring along, it would be placed onto the sidewalk with a "Free" sign on it. Like the couch, the T.V., the T.V. stand, the beds, the dressers, and an entire assortment of other items. On top of emptying the house of furniture and items, Camila cleaned the house like a madwoman, cleaning every trace of them from the home.

When Luz asked why, She simply explained, "well, we're wiping away our existence from reality, might as well clean up after ourselves, Mija." Camila said with a laugh. Truly a Hispanic woman at heart.

Collectively, each of them had a few bags of luggage, all clothing, and personal items, like things they couldn't live without, such as phones and games, although she didn't know if she'd be able to read her "Good Witch Azura" FanFics from across space-time... Or if they even had power or internet on the Boiling Isles.

"What if they don't have indoor plumbing... Oh, I hope they do..." She whispered to herself, stroking her chin in thought.

"You ready to go, Mija?" Camila asked, fixing Luz's beanie on her head. "You're not forgetting anything, are you?" She asked.

Luz patted her pockets, both front, back, and hoodie. She had all her items on her, she opened her backpack and saw everything she could need. Snacks, candy, laptop, Azura figurines... Only the essentials, of course.

"Oh wait, I left my Azura book upstairs, give me a minute, Mama." She ran up the stairs and opened the door to her old room, and saw her copy of "The Good Witch Azura #5" Laying on her old desk. It was one of the things that were going to rot with the house, sadly, it was too heavy to move for her and her mother to move without hurting themselves.

She took a spin around the room and sighed. Lots of memories to leave behind, in this house... Well, if it meant having a life with a... a Dad...

She'd never admit it, but Luz always wanted to experience what it was like to have a Father, seeing classmates all get picked up by complete families always left her craving the idea. Although her mother did warn that her Father would most likely be detached from his emotions, at first that is.

She then looked at the cover of the book. "The Good Witch Azura... hehe, who knows, maybe I'll end being as a good a witch as her." She said to herself, stuffing her book back into her bag and starting to head downstairs and met up with her mother. "I'm ready, let's go, mama," Luz said with the bright smile she was known for. Camila smiled and kissed her daughter's forehead.

"Alright, let's get out of here, Mija, can't wait to see the reaction on your Father's face." They exited through the back door of the house and entered the forest that was located directly in their backward, and walked deep into it.

After several moments of walking, Camilia stopped their trek.

"This should be deep enough."

"It was deep enough a mile ago, Mama," Luz complained, stretching her back and opening a bag of Diet Chips, trademark. "Why did we walk so long, anyway? Couldn't we have opened the portal behind the house?"

"I was just making sure that no one would see us, the people in our small town are rather nosey..." Camila explained, she reached into her bowling ball bag, which she used to keep Glass Orb safe all these years.

"I still can't believe you used a bowling bag, of all things, to house a magical relic," Luz said with a soft laugh. "A magical gateway to another dimension, stored in Papa's old championship bag." She added. Camila laughed too.

"It was probably the safest thing to put it in at the time." She said before grabbing the Glass Orb and huffing as she tossed it, hard.

It shattered on impact with a rock, the pieces scattering everywhere.

Luz covered her face, as the glass went in all directions. "Oh, Jesus," Luz said uncovering her eyes. "Did... Did it work..?" She asked, seeing that nothing was happening currently.

"Be patient, it's been 8 years since your father gave it to me, give it a minute, Mija..." She said softly, placing a hand on her daughter's shoulder.

Emperor Belos was listening to peasant's petitions, some were asking for generous donations while others were asking for help healing their family members. Some were even reporting wild witches, which made his day even better, in all honesty. New targets to hunt down and make an example of.

What he needed was The Owl Lady.

It was reported that she had a magic door to other worlds. Supposedly, that was... Even after all these years, he was still looking for ways to reunite with his true love and daughter, nothing would bring him better joy in this world than to be reunited with them.

Suddenly, he felt something in his very heart. His bile sac, to be more specific. It was something old activating, something he made years ago... Something like...

He stood up quickly.

"Kikimora?" He called, his sudden speaking silenced the peasants and got the attention of everyone in the throne room.

"Yes, My liege?" She asked, she was standing right next to him, on the right hand of his throne, as was her job.

"Clear the throne room." He commanded. "We will continue the hearings tomorrow."

"B- but sir! S- some of the guests here are from high-class families! It wouldn't look good to shun them to the side!"

"I did not stutter, empty the throne room!" He repeated, giving her an intense glare, eyes glowing bright blue. "Don't make me repeat myself, or you will be relocated to the stables, again." He threatened.

Kikimora remembered working the stable once, she had messed up the Emperor's schedule and had him running rampant for an entire week. She clasped her hands together and cleared her throat. "Y- Yes, sir. Whatever you say, my liege." She bowed respectfully before stepping forward towards the commoners and upper-class families that were in attendance.

"Emperor Belos will no longer be taking petitions for the rest of this day! Please, clear out, now!" She shouted before drawing a white circle in the air and a giant pair of giant ethereal hands appeared and pushed everyone out of the room, out the side doors. She shouted for the guards to escort the guests to waiting rooms.

Once she successfully emptied the room, she turned back to the Emperor, who was sitting on the throne again, he was drumming his finger against the armrest. At least he was until his fingers went through the wooden armrest. Something was off with him, that much was obvious.

"Is everything alright, my Emperor?" Kikimora asked.

"Kikimora... Clear all the meetings for the rest of the day." He instructed her.

She nodded. "It will be done, my liege. May I ask why?"

"...No, not yet, you are dismissed for the rest of the day," He said waving her away. "I have a personal matter to attend to."

Kikimora was confused, such odd behavior from the Emperor... She hasn't seen him act this nervous since the Savage Ages...

"Of course, Emperor..." She said before leaving the room quickly in a puff of red flames.

-In the Human Realm-

The mother-daughter duo was currently bored out of their minds, waiting for a reaction to occur. Things started to look hopeless until the glass shards all started to float off the ground and spin back towards each other. The leaves started to pick up, just like that one moment from 8 years ago...

"M- mom! Look, the glass!" Luz yelled, calling attention to the leaves and glass moving in all directions, beginning to form a portal in front of them.

Both of them quickly made sure they had their items ready as the portal finally snapped into existence, starring at the bright rip in space-time, both of them hesitated, not sure what to do.

"Haha! It worked we're going to see Dad!" She celebrated while pumping her fist into the air. Luz was the first to walk forward, she was about to cross the threshold of the portal when she saw her mother still standing back, in the middle of the clearing.

"Mami? What's wrong? Don't you want to meet Dad again? You sounded like you missed him, let's not keep him waiting!" She urged her mother to take the steps forward, grabbing her mother's hand and starting to drag her towards the portal.

Camila resisted her daughter's pulling.

"O- Oh of course I miss him, Mija, it's just that... What if he's changed? What if he doesn't love me anymore, I did keep him waiting for 14 long years..." She whispered, looking at the forest floor and back up to Luz, "Maybe you should go on without me, dear, go have a relationship with your father, I'll just stay here and-"

Luz suddenly went up to her mother and placed both of her hands on her Mothers cheeks and looked directly into her eyes.

"Listen, Mom, I may not know him as much as you did, but you guys fell in love in 7 months! Which is pretty amazing honestly, and then made me! whichthethoughtofisgross BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT!" Luz exclaimed, removing her hands away from Camila's face. "I'm more than sure he's been thinking of you every day for the last 8 years!" She reassured her worried mother

Camila looked up at her always hopeful daughter and smiled, happy that someone like her was her daughter.

"Thank you, Mija, I couldn't imagine doing this without you," Camila said, kissing Luz's forehead before pulling away and grabbing their luggage, they then both faced forward towards the portal. They each took a deep breath before both ran forward and through the doorway to another world.

Luz screamed as she fell through the portal, being flashed by a bright light at first before they both started to fall into the darkness. Camila wasn't screaming, surprisingly. This would mark the third time she's fallen through an inter-dimensional portal to another world. She just focused on holding onto her items and Luz.

"OhgodOhgodOhgodOhgod!" Luz screamed. The falling seemed to be lasting forever, at the end of the "tunnel" she could see a figure standing in a doorway of sorts. She couldn't make any shapes or predictions alike on who/what they were but she did know that they were going to crash at what was probably mach speeds. She closed her eyes and waited for impact, bracing herself with her arms. Luz felt herself go through the portal and-

The impact never came... She felt weightless. Cracking open her eyes just a little, she was able to confirm that she was not dead. She patted herself down and grabbed her face, and then laughed triumphantly.

"HAHA, not dead yet!" She shouted. "WOOO!" She shouted as well, before looking down. She couldn't help but notice she was levitating off the ground and glowing red. "Why am I floating? And Red?" She asked casually.

"Would you rather be the new paint on the wall?" Belos asked, aiming his finger down and setting them both down on the ground safely.

Camila got her footing before she dusted herself off, cursing in Spanish under her breath about the absurd rollercoaster of magic that got them here.

"Camila..." Belos said, turning his attention to her first. "It's been so long since I saw you..." He said softly, pausing as he reached out to her and carefully placed a hand on her cheek, stroking it with his thumb. The enchanted gauntlet he wore lightly scratched her cheek.

"Sorry, I'm not as young as you remembered... Working and raising a kid will do that to you..." She said, looking away from him.

"Nonsense, you're as beautiful as the day you fell into my lap..." He said with a smile, hidden behind his mask.

"How about you take off that silly mask you always insisted on wearing." She asked.

"It's a symbol of the Titan, he bestowed it to me when I ascended to the-" He was cut off.

"In front of me, you're only Alexander Belos... And I want to see your face, it's been so long..." She said, reaching up and taking hold of the sides of his mask.

"Oh, Camila..." He whispered as he allowed for her to remove his mask, he removed the adorning hood and looked down at Camila. "It would seem that my hair has finally grayed, I don't know if it was the Titan's magic or maybe this job..." He said softly. "Being Emperor is a hard job..." He held her hand, resting his forehead against hers and closing his eyes.

"Well, you're just as handsome as you were all those years ago, if anything, it makes you look mature and regal." She commented. They both laughed.

Alexander then picked her up and swung her around, hugging her close, not letting go as if he feared she would disappear from his arms.

"Ahem. I- I'm, uh, here too..." Luz, while she was enjoying the interaction between them, she also wanted to be acknowledged as well.

Belos paused his swinging and turned to face-

"My daughter..." Belos carefully placed Camila down and went over, standing in front of Luz. She smiled, nervously and trying not to break down.

"I'm Luz! B- but you probably a- already knew that! l- let me try again! H-h hi, d-dad? Do I get to call you dad? Father? My liege? Lord Emperor Belos supreme... Papa?" She asked, looking off to the side, not daring to stare him in the eye, scared of disappointing him with a simple stare.

The Lord Emperor Belos Supreme then placed a comforting hand atop Luz's head.

"You are my flesh and blood, Luz, never would I ever have you refer to me as Emperor. You can simply call me Father or Dad, anything alike..." He then ruffled her long hair, which she brushed for this moment. She nearly burst into tears at the action, always wanting to experience something like this.

Luz then suddenly attacked Alexander with hugs. She squeezed him tightly and drove her face into his chest. She then pulled away and looked up at him.

"Sooooo, since I'm your all-powerful daughter, does that mean I can do that floaty thing? Like how you did with your finger?" She said unknowingly pointing at something. Once she jerked her hand, the particular item she was pointing at, which so happened to be a potted plant, went flying across the room. Glowing golden for a moment. "Oh Mierda..." Luz quickly pulled herself back and held her hand. "Not again..."

Alexander raised a brow and looked at the shattered potted plant across the room, he saw the faint glow on it before dissipating almost instantly.

"Was that magic?" He asked her. "It felt just like mine..." He said before looking back at Luz.

"I- I guess it was... It's been like that forever... I point at something and something will go wrong." Luz explained.

Camila stepped forward.

"She was expelled from her school, cause she pointed at a girl's hair and it caught fire and snakes were in her clothes. A lot of similar incidents happened, she can't control her magic, very well, is what I'm saying." Camila said.

"Well, I wouldn't expect her to, honestly... She's never had any real, proper training but if your magic is strong enough to send pots flying without thinking, then you may just be exceptionally strong, just like me." He said as he looked at Luz and then at Camila. "Let's get you both situated in a room." He said as he put on his mask and hood again.

Luz was taking in the architecture of the castle, lots of golds and dark colors made up the interior of the castle, with the occasional red carpet. It was an amazing sight to behold. "Well, this is certainly an odd step from our colorful home..." Luz commented, taking in the dreary aesthetic of the inner walls.

"Forgive if my aesthetics are... not to your liking," Belos said, leading them around the top floor of the castle. "I had this built during the savage ages when hordes of Wild Witches would attempt to siege my castle. It needed to be secure from any intruder that dared invade. Of course, I never redecorated."

"What are the Savage Ages?" Luz asked.

"A time before my rule, where magic wasn't controlled and order was non-existent, you'll learn more about it later." He led them up one more fleet of stairs. "This hall is where all of us will reside." He walked forward, placing a hand on a door, it lit up with red magic and swung open.

The room they entered had the looks of an actual house. Like actually, Luz was shocked to see that they entered what seemed to be a living room. It was rather basic and was filled with bookshelves and other things strewn about. There wasn't even a couch.

"Where's all the furniture?" Luz asked, walking deeper into the room.

"Oh, right, nearly forgot. I don't usually need for all of it." Belos snapped his fingers and the floor began to morph, things that looked like flesh and arms took the shape of couches, tables, armchairs, and other pieces of furniture. In another snap of his fingers, the flesh-made furniture turned normal, actually looking like fabric and pillows even. Although, the wooden parts were made of bone.

"Hey wait, this looks like our living room in the human world." Luz pointed out.

Belos laughed at that.

"Good eye, My Little Light," He ruffled her hair again, "I saw it only once when you were still very young, never forgot it." He then led them up some stairs, into a hallway that was lined with doors. He went to the first door on his left.

"Camila, this is the master bedroom, our bedroom, and Luz," He twirled his finger and the door down the hall from theirs opened up. "That will be your bedroom, right across from ours, until we can get you a more proper bedroom built for you and your needs from the Construction Coven." He said. "If that's OK."

Luz walked into the room, her eyes widened to the size of plates, seeing how spacious the entire room was.

"Yes, this is great! This has got to be the size of our old living room times... 4 or something!" She exclaimed, walking into her closet. "This closet is the size of my old room!" She shouted with a laugh.

Belos laughed and ruffled her hair again. "I'm glad you love it, dear." He said, smiling under his mask.

"IS THIS A BATHROOM, TOO!?" She screamed, opening another door to reveal a large personal bathroom.

In the 30 minutes that they've been here, Belos's mood has certainly shifted for the better, simply knowing that they were here were enough to make his old heartbeat again, felt odd to feel that again... He shook his head of the thoughts, "I must finish my work for today. In the meantime, relax. Stay in your rooms, try not to wander." He told them, giving them a departing hug.

"OK, Alex be back soon!" Camila called out to Belos, waving him away as he descended the stairs.

Luz was now laying in bed, staring at the ceiling, thinking.

She had met her father... Her actual father...

Thinking about it more and more, she realized that he didn't know a thing about her, and vice versa. She'd fix that soon enough.

She climbed out of the remarkably soft bed, sighing and stretching as she went to the glass doors, pushing them open and walking into the attached balcony and looked at the Town of Bonesborough in the distance and sighed.

"Here's to a new life..." She said before walking back inside and falling back onto the bed and slowly passing out in this strange new world.

-Elsewhere-

The Castle Library, full of years upon years of knowledge and secrets, with tall bookshelves reaching the very ceiling. Books could be seen flying in all directions, some of the books being sentient, of course.

Currently, Belos was leading a group of Emperor Coven's Guards as well as Kikimora at his side.

"But- Sir- We haven't worked on the portal in many years! And the last time used it, we nearly lost you in the Human realm!" Kikimora implored him to listen to reason, "If you hadn't flared your magic when you did, we never would've found you!" She said as Belos led the group to a back wall. Kikimora couldn't help but notice that Belos had led her to the forbidden section of the Castle Library, only herself, Lilith, and the Royal family were permitted to even come back here.

"And I would've stayed there, with my wife and daughter, but the Titan's Will has not yet been completed and I will complete my promises to him." Belos said as he reached up and pulled a book called "Dimension Hopping and You". Several gears and things could be heard clicking and turning before the bookshelf opened down the middle and pages of paper flew in, beginning to form a door. Walking through it, he led the group of guards deeper into the secret room. Only Kikimora herself has been in here before, it's where they house the portal.

Finally, they were upon the portal. It was in quite the decrypted state and a lot of the consoles that were strewn about were very broken, more than it once was, the last time they used it, Belos was visiting Camila for the last time.

Coming back empty-handed, he was understandably upset, screaming and releasing a wave of magic so destructive that he had set back the project by years, in a single minute. He had put the project on hold until now...

Belos turned to face the group of his finest Coven Members.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, remove your masks, take off your hoods." He said. The Coven members were all confused, as they were told to never do so under any situation, but they did so without question, as this was the Emperor after all. Usually, the mask and hood combo was meant to keep them from knowing each other's identities, to protect them from capture, and to allow them to have a normal life among the denizens of the Isles, while also acting as a silent police force as well as spies...

"Look at the men and women next to you, they will be your comrades for the next year, as you all have been assigned to this project."

Kikimora's eyes widened. He was being serious... There's no stopping him then... She stood next to him, the height difference very noticeable.

"The project that the Emperor speaks of is an extremely important one! Years in the making with research, trial and error, and countless tests, so as you can guess, mess-ups will not be tolerated here!" She said as Belos nodded.

"That is correct, you all are the smartest and best members of our Coven that we can spare, right now. You are going to be put under the command of Kikimora, here. As she is one of the oldest members of this project. This portal needs to work..." He said, walking over to the destroyed portal and placing a hand on it, hearing the Titan's whispers in his head...

"Emperor?" A brunette asked.

"Yes...?" Belos asked, coming out of his thoughts.

"What... Exactly are we trying to accomplish with this portal...?" He asked, asking the question on everyone's mind.

"The very will of the Titan..." He said, turning back to face them, eyes glowing bright blue under his mask. "Now, get to work... Time is of the essence..." He paused, lifting his staff and a glow emanated from the red orb, and a countdown appeared. It was a few months from now.

"The Day of unity will be upon us sooner rather than later... Only a few more months..."
