Our heroes have now arrived in Allena Town for Orihime's next competition. They arrived ahead of schedule, and Orihime can't wait until the competition actually starts.

"Looks like we've got a little time before the competition starts." Rukia said as they read a flyer for Pokemon Talent Star. "That should give you time to come up with some great combos."

"I can just feel that I'm going to get my second medal." Orihime said. "I need to catch up to the others if I'm going to stand a chance against them."

"That's what I like to hear." Ichigo said.

"Hey, check this out." Rukia said as she spotted another flyer. "There's a class going on. It teaches you how to make pokeblock, poffins, and pokepuffs."

"What is all that?" Chad asked.

"Their snacks pokemon that are pretty handy for a pokemon's appearance, affection, and more." Rukia said. "Orihime, maybe you should consider this. This stuff could help your pokemon look good, even if it's just a little."

"You think? Sounds like it could be fun." Orihime said. This could be an interesting experience, and if it will help Orihime's pokemon, she'll gladly take it.

Pokemon

No time to question my moves

I stick to the path that I choose

Me and my friends are gonna do it right

You'll never see us runaway from a fight

To be a master is my dream

All I have to do is believe

(I believe)

I'm on a master quest

(Master quest)

I'm on my way to victory

I can be a champion if I just believe

I'm on a master quest

(Master quest)

I want the whole world to see

(I believe)

I'm gonna be the very best

Cause all I have to do is believe in me

Pokemon!

(Orihime's voice): A Touch of Everywhere

They managed to get the address for this cooking class. Orihime seemed a little excited for it. They stood outside a small place, but it looked like it had the right stuff to make whatever you liked.

"Is this the right place?" Ichigo asked.

"It's the right address. Hello? Is anyone here?" Rukia called out. She did get a response as they heard something shifting around in the cabinets. They all looked and saw a Minccino jumped out on the counter.

"Ccino?"

"Cutie! Who is that pokemon?!" Orihime said as she loved it.

"That's a Minccino." Rukia said.

"The teacher is a Minccino?" Ichigo asked. Rukia smacked him on the head.

"You deserved that one." Rukia said.

"Hang on! I'm coming down!" They saw a man came down as he carried a box of various berries. He had green hair and wore an orange shirt with jeans and an apron. "Hi. Are you all here for the cooking class?"

"Yeah. Are you the teacher?" Orihime asked.

"I am. My name is Geoffrey, and this here is my long time partner, Minccino." He said as he put the boxes down and petted his partner

"It's nice to meet you." Rukia said. "The flyer says you teach people how to make various snacks for pokemon that could be helpful to Orihime here."

"You see, I'm entering Pokemon Talent Star. I want my pokemon to look as good as they can." Orihime said.

"You came to the right place." Geoffrey said. "Grab an apron and we can get started. Are all of you interested in taking the class?"

"I'm not really much of a cook." Ichigo said. Chad wasn't too sure about it himself.

"Come on, guys. It could be fun." Rukia said. "It might do you two some good to actually learn something useful." They weren't too sure, but Rukia managed to talk them into it. All four of them took the class and got ready.

"The first thing we should do is go over the basics." Geoffrey said. "Pokeblock comes from Hoenn, Poffins come from Sinnoh, and pokepuffs come from right here in Kalos."

"Do all three really help pokemon?" Orihime asked.

"Yes. Pokeblock improves a pokemon's traits like makes their coats shinier, poffins have similar effects, and puffs are like delicious baked goods that can pokemon love." Geoffrey said.

"Great. Let's get cooking." Orihime said as she was ready to go.

"I like you're enthusiasm, Orihime." Geoffrey said. "Minccino, could you get everything ready."

"Ccino!" Minccino moved through the kitchen and got everything set. "We got blenders for pokeblock, pots for poffins, and everything else that is needed. Just take your pick of what you want to start with. We have plenty of berries for you to use as well."

"I can't wait! I want to try it all!" Orihime said as she started with the blenders. She grabbed berries and put them in.

"Wow. Someone likes to get started." Geoffrey said. "Orihime, do you even know what you're doing?"

"No, and I have a feeling she's going to crash and burn." Rukia said.

"Well, let me show you how to make some of the others." Geoffrey said. Geoffrey tried his best to guide them through all the cooking. Orihime seemed excited to try it all out. After a few hours of making, they all made some snacks for their pokemon.

"Not bad, if I do say so myself." Ichigo said as his batch came out pretty good. "Here, Absol." He handed Absol a poffin and Absol ate it.

"Absol!"

"Looks like Absol likes it." Geoffrey said. He took a piece himself and ate it. "Not bad for a first time."

"I think my batch came out pretty good too." Rukia said. Chad thought the same about his. Geoffrey grabbed a sample from both and took a taste.

"Chad, needs a bit of improvement, but yours are quite delicious, Rukia. You seem to be a natural at this." Geoffrey said. "Minccino, what do you think?" Minccino had a look around and sniffed each sample. Mincchino appeared to have a satisfied smile on its face. "Minccino has had plenty of experience eating. It can tell if something is good to eat by just smelling."

"Hey! What about mine?!" Orihime said. She seemed excited, but the appearance of everything she baked didn't even look appetizing. Everyone seemed rather nervous to take a taste out of anything Orihime made.

"Did she make food or a mess?" Chad said.

"I think I saw one move." Ichigo said.

"Guys, quiet." Rukia said as she didn't want anything bad said about Orihime's efforts, even if they were true.

"Looks aren't everything. Minccino...?" Geoffrey said. Minccino took a sniff at what Orihime made, but felt revolted. "That's not a good sign."

"Really? I thought I improvise. I added honey, red bean paste, jelly, and more." Orihime said. All of that sounded rather disgusting.

"The worst part...I don't even have red bean paste." Geoffrey said. "Well, let's see what your pokemon think. It's important they like it."

"Good idea." Orihime said. She let out all of her pokemon to have them taste her cooking, but they all seemed rather hesitant to eat anything. "Go on. Have a taste and see if you like it." All of her pokemon had a sample of what she baked, but Sylveon felt sick, Roserade acted like a wilted flower, Swanna was flocked around like crazy, and Solrock just passed out. The only one that was still standing was Azumarill.

"They hate it." Ichigo said.

"Not all of them. Azumarill seems to be holding out." Rukia said.

"Azumarill is one tough pokemon." Chad said.

"I wanted all of them to like it." Orihime said as she felt like she failed.

"Don't be so hard on yourself, Orihime." Geoffrey said. "You just got a little excited and didn't pay much attention to what you were doing."

"Orihime, it's much more complicated than you think." Rukia said. "You need to think of nutritional value. This stuff is meant to help your pokemon."

"Rukia is right." Geoffrey said. "You need to think of what berries you use, how much of them you use, and what else you add to them. You have to remember that they're suppose to be used for your pokemon's health."

"Oh man. I just got so excited and didn't even think about any of it." Orihime said.

"Well, sometimes people don't eat healthy stuff because they don't like how it tastes." Rukia said. "Above all else, you just need to think of how it affects your pokemon's health as well as the taste."

"Rukia, I must say that I'm rather impressed with your knowledge." Geoffrey said. "How do you know so much?"

"Well, the truth is that my older brother used this kind of stuff himself." Rukia said. "He fed his pokemon this stuff to help them become stronger. It would also explain why they always looked graceful and beautiful."

"Interesting. You really know your stuff." Geoffrey said.

"What about you, Geoffrey? How did you learn so much about this?" Ichigo asked.

"What do you say, Minccino? Should we show them?" Geoffrey said.

"Ccino!" Geoffrey and Minccino led them to a different part of his place. He showed them a shelf with a series of ribbons, medals, trophies, and photos on it.

"That's how I know so much. It's all through experience." Geoffrey said. They were all rather impressed with what they were seeing right now.

"Were you a showman? Did you compete in Pokemon Talent Star?" Orihime asked.

"Not only that. I managed to win Ultimate Talent Star." Geoffrey said with Orihime getting rather impressed.

"What about these ribbons?" Chad asked.

"That's from when I competed in events called contests in Sinnoh and Hoenn. The two events are pretty similar to each other." Geoffrey said. "When I won five ribbons, I competed in a large even called the Grand Festival, and I won that too. I ended up becoming top coordinator. I made sure Minccino and my other pokemon ate well to make themselves look good and got stronger."

"This is all amazing." Orihime said as she felt a little overwhelmed. "I'm starting to think I'm not cut out for this."

"Don't be too hard on yourself, Orihime." Ichigo said. "You've grown since you first started on your journey."

"And you've taken what you've learned to help you grow stronger." Rukia said. "You've done well with what you're doing."

"Your friends are right. I could see by looking at your pokemon that they're all in great shape. You clearly love all of them, and you've taken great care of all your pokemon." Geoffrey said.

"Maybe, but they sure didn't seem to like what I made." Orihime said.

"That's not true. Azumarill certainly did." Rukia said.

"Azu!" Azumarill came in the room with smudges all over its face. It came to Orihime and was asking for more of what Orihime made.

"It really wants more?" Chad questioned.

"You really like it, Azumarill?" Orihime said. Orihime was glad to hear that Azumarill did like it. "Okay, but not too much. I don't want you to get sick because I've decided to compete with you in the upcoming Talent Star competition."

"Azumarill!"

"So it's Azumarill's time to shine." Rukia said. "A great choice, Orihime. You know, I'll even help you if you want to give this stuff a try."

"Rukia, you surely know your stuff. Have you ever thought about competing yourself?" Geoffrey questioned. That was a surprising question for all of them.

"You mean compete in Pokemon Talent Star?" Rukia questioned.

"I have a feeling you would do pretty well. Maybe you should enter yourself." Geoffrey said. Orihime and Rukia competing together? That would certainly make an interesting battle.

Orihime might have gotten a taste in some baking, and still has a few things to learn, but she's ready for her upcoming competition. Of course, she might have some competition with Rukia entering. Is Rukia really going to enter? I don't think you want to miss what comes next.
